Colette blinked in surprise, tilting her head to the side and staring at him quizzically. "You're welcome, though I'm surprised you haven't had larger donations before. Have you considered doing fundraisers or partnering up with local businesses to do a charity event of some sort?" As she was speaking Colette carefully removed her heels, coming up a good three inches shorter without them, and set them neatly next to the door. She turned to find her spot had been moved and smiled at the children responsible, giving them a wink. Tucking her skirt under her as she knelt on the floor, she opened her mouth to ask more about fundraising when she stopped herself. Blushing, she cleared her throat.

"I'm sorry, that was rude of me. I work as a business consultant and sometimes it's hard to turn it off after work."

@SleepyBuddha

Gautama chuckled at the children as they took their place. The younger monks came in after training and silently took their seats. " Our temple was only just recognized by the Dalai Lama and we haven't been in the community very long. So I haven't had much of an opportunity to ask many people. We have been focused on helping others rather than ourselves." Gautama took his own seat and the head of the table and pressing his hands together and lead the group in a Buddhist prayer.

Once the prayer was complete the monks are silently as did Gautama.

@heartshapedsprinkles

Colette bowed her head respectfully during the prayer, digging in with everyone else. Even though she was starving and the food was delicious, she resisted the urge to shovel it into her face like she so desperately wanted to. The quiet of the monks didn't bother her either; she normally ate dinner alone, so this was a nice change of pace.

Within a few minutes her mind started to drift back to Bobby and the announcement he had made earlier that day. Her eating slowed as she thought about the backlash from the Council. They weren't exactly the most forgiving of organizations, which she could understand to a certain degree. Magic could be dangerous after all. Her gaze wandered over to the children at the table, and she opened her mouth to ask Gautama if he'd heard Bobby earlier in the day, then thought better of it. It wasn't exactly polite dinner conversation, she thought to herself, her eyes wandering back to her food.

Wynter Gwydion

With all the uproar from the news, about this strange man claiming about magic is real and something about Urban Warlocks, Wynter and her classmates were still in the classroom, practising for their upcoming play. As it finished earlier, due to less people attending today, a few of the girls decided to wander around the city for fun. With a timid smile on her face, Wynter had nodded to the invitation.

Although her mood took a bit of a turn as they passed by a busy intersection. High on a street telescreen at a department store, was the news with the replay of the recorded footage of a while ago. Just as the group of high school girls had reached the other side of the road, Wynter's brown irises reflected the image of Bobby Boushae's face.

"What's wrong, Wynter?" Her friend Coco had asked, in a slightly louder voice due to the number of people. The brown-haired girl turned to her friend, giving an apologetic look. She had really been looking forward to the cafe earlier. "Sorry, Coco. It's just that I think I may have an errand." She exchanged a small wave from her understanding friend before turning away. Little did Coco realise that her friend wasn't heading in the direction of her home at all.

Wynter held onto her red umbrella tightly while she drew out her phone from her bag. The Urban Warlocks have done it now. It would only be a matter of time before all humans begin to seek for the power of magic, including those with ill intentions. She sighed, not liking what could happen one bit as she checked whether she had received anything from the Magic Council. Perhaps the higher-ranked members would have issued orders already?

Gautama ate in silence with the other monks as they did every day before. Though having a guest this time certainly made things more interesting this time around. The children kept cutting glances over at Coletta as they are and when they thought he wasn't paying attention they would whisper to one another.

Having spent so much time in the temple those with magic could no doubt begin to feel Gautama's domain of the mind magic almost filling the air as if they were underwater. The reason for it is that Gautama's magic worked by surrounding the target's brain in a layer of this magic for it to work and since this is the place cherished the most he made sure that his magic was powerful within the temple so that he could defend this place at a moment's notice.

Once dinner was done the other monks returned to their duties and the children began studying their school work. At the moment they were being homeschooling but with this donation Gautama could afford to get the oldest ones into primary school.

Gautama got up, " Thank you again for your donation and I hope your stay was an enjoyable one. Of its not too much of a bother for you I would like to show you around the temple. Show you what you have so graciously invested in."

@heartshapedsprinkles

Colette smiled up at Gautama, pushing herself up from her kneeling position at the table, "I would love to see the rest of the temp-," she stopped mid-sentence, her eyes going unfocused for a second as she stood. Ever since she had entered the temple she'd been having trouble breathing, the air feeling thick in her lungs and a growing pressure on her chest. She had ignored it at first, attributing it to her own anxieties over what she had seen on the news earlier that day. She'd been feeling on edge all day after all. But this was different. This was much more intense.

Her inability to breathe properly left Colette unsteady on her feet, and she unconsciously reached out for Gautama, gripping his arm to steady herself lest she fall over. "I-I'm sorry," she mumbled, pressing her other hand to her chest as her breathing came out ragged, "I might need to sit down for a minute longer. I'm not feeling so well..." She shook her head as her eyes slid out of focus once more, and her breathing picked up, her anxiety about to rear its ugly head. She really hoped she didn't have a panic attack right now. That would be embarrassing.

@SleepyBuddha

Gautama was confused by Colette's reaction but moved to comfort her immediately. " Please this way. " Gautama said carefully moving her to the center of the Temple plaza where the younger monks were practicing Kung Fu earlier. He carefully and gently guided her up the steps and set her down. " There you are... take as much time as you need." He said sitting next to Colette.

Usually the most people would have is some could chills or am uncomfortable feeling in the presence of his magic, but her reaction was much more severe. Could it be this woman was a magician? That would certainly explain her reaction.Gautama put his right hand in a praying position and said, " May your Dukkha end." With that he had his magic seep into her mind. He just hoped she would forgive him.

@heartshapedsprinkles.

Colette leaned heavily into Gautama as he led her to the center plaza, holding onto him as she lowered herself onto the step. She wanted to tell him she was grateful for his help, and that she was sorry, but the words wouldn't come out. She had no idea what was going on. Was she getting sick? Was this a strange panic attack? Was the stress at work finally getting to her? She knew it wasn't the air pressure; she would be able to feel that. She closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around her knees, drawing them up to her chest and burying her face in her skirt.

She focused on her breathing, the pressure around her making it much more difficult. She was so focused on trying to calm herself down that she almost missed Gautama's words. Immediately, she felt relief. She tossed her head back and gasped, taking in a huge breath of air, her chest heaving. It almost felt like she had been coming up for air after being underwater for a long time. Her eyes slid closed and she continued to breathe in deeply for another minute, trying to piece together in her mind what had just happened. When it hit her, her eyes shot open and she turned to look at Gautama, her bottom lip trembling.

"Y-you have powers..." she whispered, voice shaking.

@SleepyBuddha

"Buddha be praised you are unharmed." Gautama said as she took a large gaps of air, " Yes I have abilities. I did not expect you to have abilities as well. I am sorry you had to suffer from that. Most other magicians have been made aware of my presence and power by the magic council so they tend to stay away." Gautama explained as he continued sitting next to her. To Gautama she seemed scared. Did he frighten her some how? That was certainly not his intention.

@heartshapedsprinkles

Swallowing hard and biting her lip, Colette's gaze slipped to the ground. She shifted away from Gautama just slightly, and then felt immediate guilt. Why was she scared of him? He had been nothing but kind to her this entire time, and clearly he had no idea that she had abilities herself. He was a monk for Pete's sake! What did she have to fear from him? Deep down, she knew why she was scared of him, but refused to admit it to herself. Knowing someone could affect her body like that without her realizing what was happening terrified her. It reminded her of that night, and she didn't like to think about that night.

"I don't have much contact with the Council or any other magic users," she said quietly, looking up at him through her bangs. "I honestly knew nothing about you or your powers. I... tend to keep to myself."

"Well haven't you gotten a merry little party" Autar said while mediating not even looking to Bobby or any of the others. He eve kept his eyes close. Autar was diving deep into his pool of magic, gaining focus over it. "So are we going to do some training or are you just going to sit around all day" He said sarcastically.

Gautama smiled gently at her trying to comfort her with his words rather than touch or magic, " I see, then we are very much alike in that regard. When high concentrations of my magic gather in an area in can be overwhelming for those who can perceive magic as you had the misfortune of experiencing. It is because of this and my vows as a monk that I don't leave the temple very often so I want to be able to protect it the best I can.... but I've taken far too much of your time as it is and I've caused you harm. I hope you can forgive me." Gautama said getting up. He figured it was about time to see what these Urban Worlocks were about and see just how powerful they were becoming. He wasn't sure he believed in their mission. Power like his was meant to be regulated, but freedom is also the right of all living things.

The sliver haired girl scoffed, rolling her eyes. "I don't need training." Her voice was a bit snarky. Once more, Faye fixed her white gloves, waiting for a response, if she was going to get one.

Colette nodded slightly at his explanation, her heart swelling with guilt as he spoke. She was being rude to him, and she suddenly felt the need to reassure him, and get over her fear at the same time. Jumping to her feet, the wooden floor cool on her bare feet, Colette reached out and grasped Gautama's hand in hers. Staring up at him determinedly, she stated firmly, "There's nothing to forgive! It was an accident! I'm sure had you known about me you never would have intentionally hurt me." Smiling brightly, she gave his hand a gentle squeeze, "You're a kind, gentle person Gautama, I can tell. I'm sorry for behaving so rudely. I'm not scared of you, it's my own issues that I need to work through."

@SleepyBuddha

"Is that so?" He asked again not bothering to open his eyes. "Well ice queen your as naive as your age would suggest and twice as arrogant" he said with in a monotone voice. "Besides I don't want to train you but Bobby here thinks you need it, so if you want to take it up with someone take it up with him" He said this time with a touch of anger in his voice. "Also ever heard the phrase that even a master trains to hone his skills, or are you just so bloody great that you don't need it" Autar voice now have equal parts anger and sarcasm.

Faye scoffed again at the name. "Ice Queen huh? Funny." She cocked an eyebrow, "Watashi wa anata ga sonogo ni kunren suruhitsuyōgārudarou to katei shimasu?" She asked, cocking an eyebrow.

"Well, I guess I don't need to worry about getting jumped on." Samuel stated, jokingly.

"Seems like everyone's getting a bit riled up, though. We should take a seat, maybe order a pizza or two, and have a civil discussion."

Gautama smiled down at her happy to see that she was alright and wasn't scared of him or his power and that she thought so highly of him, " You do me too much honor with such praise." Gautama's complexion became a bit red after holding Colette's hands for so long, but he calmed himself, telling himself it was a cultural thing and didn't necessarily have to same meaning to her as it did him.

"Well the doors of our temple are always open for you. Please, I've held up enough of your valuable time as it is. Go in peace and may Buddha smile upon you." Gautama said leading her to the temple doors. " I need to confirm the intentions of this Bobby before his Urban Wizards do something that will cause suffering to the people of the city." He said walking out of the temple with her.

Eliza Crossheart

Location some street

Mood tired

Phone on

Aval. yes

@(s) n/a

Time passed slowly, and Eliza continued her work. She had no idea what was it, but she just felt a bit ill. Maybe it was the brightly shining sun? It would be the first time something like this happened because of her power then.

Maybe she just caught a cold? Hmn. Didn't seem like it, she wasn't sneezing.

But nevertheless, Eliza felt a need to retire early today and return to her small apartment. No matter how fulfilling her job was, she really wasn't feeling it.

"Johnny?" She asked from the staff room.

"Yeah?" He asked peeking into the room only to find his boss packing up unusually early today.

"You don't have any plans with Rosie tonight, right?" Eliza asked the boy with a smile, said boy blushed at the mention of his girlfriend and shook his head.

"Can you lock up tonight then?" She then continued talking, "I'm feeling slightly under the weather today."

"Sure thing boss!"

And with that she was out the door, walking in a simple outfit of shorts and a button up. Her earphones pluged in her ears as expected.

Akihiro was sitting upon the ground,trying to ignore all the possible future and past realities set upon him. The idea of simply using his foresight to see how the meeting would go was tempting,but he didn't exactly want to spend so much life energy while powerful mages gathered around him.

(oops didn't see this post)

Kimmy bows

"I-I am K-Kimmy sir..." She answered with the utmost respect

"Ahhh... I can almost sense them down here" Lucy mumbled as she descended the steps, looking at the now congregated sorcerers. "Why hello!" She said in a friendly voice, as if she were greeting old friends. "I have come on behalf of the council, Mr. Boushae! What a pleasant surprise to see you again!" She smiled, remembering the time she had recruited the young mage. What a horrible mistake. "And Amethyst too! You're sister has been quite worried about you, you know". Lucy was hoping to avoid a fight, seeing as they were so close to some normal civilians on the surface. Simultaneously she sent out her co-ordinates to all nearby council members, in the event that a fight may break out @Alphaius @LilyannaGaming @SirGrey @Quark @Anyone else i forgot to mention (sorry)

This caused Autar eyes to spring open "Oh dear" he muttered under his breath. Now while he wasn't officially affiliated, he didn't have the greatest relationship with the council. Sometimes he had helped them sometimes he had coned them shall we say. Still this didn't look good. "I think I'll take my leave" he muttered. "Now you see me" the show man said as he disappeared in a buff of purple smoke. He chose the colour himself if you are wondering. Autar was now hidden further down the station behind an old train car. Now he had to think fast.

Colette grinned brightly, releasing Gautama's hand from her grasp, oblivious to any sort of effect she had on him. She was a naturally affectionate person, given to hugging people to show gratitude. The past six months though, she hadn't felt the urge to talk or interact much with people unless absolutely necessary. She wasn't sure why, but Gautama put her at ease, and she almost felt normal for a minute.

She padded along behind him as he walked to the door, stopping briefly to put her heels on and grab her purse. When he mentioned the Urban Warlocks though, her brows knit together in worry and she turned to him, griping the strap of her purse a little tighter than necessary.

"What?! You're going to go find them right now? By yourself? Is that safe?"
