Luke's eyes narrowed. "Hey, we place our bottoms on seats, not on counters. Get down from there." He wandered to the fridge, mumbling about uncivilized felines before looking back over his shoulder with a small smirk. "Do you like milk or is that too much of a stereotype?"

The cat stepped down with both paws onto a nearby chair. "Purring is too much hard work," it began. The cat's voice was crystal clear. It sounded female and had a silky smooth tone to it. "Milk would suffice if that's all there is to offer. The taste's grown old, I'll admit, though I do get cravings occasionally. It's what I get for picking a cat as my animal."

(HOLY HECK THAT IS A FUTURE PLOT IDEA)

Luke nodded, not seeming particularly surprised at this turn of events. "There's also water, coffee and a couple types of tea. For tea, there's earl grey, peppermint and orange pekoe."

((I'm just going off the types of tea I remember seeing at the grocery store, I don't actually know anything about it -.- ))

(Pfft, it's fine. If you do like regular tea I'd recommend trying some out, they can be quite good ' v ' )

"I'd prefer coffee more, if that's doable," she requested.

Afina glanced at Luke, then at the cat, then back again at the male. "Sooo... do you two know each other or are you both just winging it?" she asked as she pet a jealous fox with her foot (my dogs like that, actually).

Luke nodded again and put the coffee pot on, moving to set out some cream and sugar cubes, unsure of his guest's preferences. He huffed a bit of a laugh at Afina's question. "I don't recall ever meeting our latest guest, but I could be wrong. I've been wrong before. Anyway, was there anything else I could get either of you?" He asked, tilting his head in the direction of Afina and Hopper.

"We're fine here, besides Hopper's salty attitude," she said, nudging the fox and provoking a small bark in response. The way she talked now seemed much more relaxed, a sign she was getting accustomed to having Luke as company. It didn't take long to gain her trust, or was it just that he didn't seem threatening in the slightest? Whatever it was, she could probably consider him a friend at this point. Probably.

Luke nodded before moving to take a seat at the table, wondering vaguely what he was supposed to do now? He wasn't used to attempting to entertain so many guests at once. (Three. Sooo many!) "Um... So..." He fell silent, beginning to crack under the pressure. Who should he address? What should he say? How did he people?!

"So, Luke. What do ya do for a living? Just grow food?" Afina asked after a quick sip of her drink. She could tell the pressure of starting a conversation was bothering him, so why not take it upon herself? Besides, she did want to get to know him better, loosely considering him as a friend and all.

"Why is it so damn cold." Dante's statement broke the silence of nature. The mist had coated the ground in its classical way. Dante always found it interesting to see the way the world worked. The mist was like hiding secrets that the world had. Mist hid the blood of animals and hid the way that Mother Earth cried for help. It hid so much bullshit it was unreal. Dante smiled. He related to the mist... always hiding the secrets. His beautiful emerald colored eyes shifted towards the light of a cabin. "Always up to something." A cat like smile crept across his face. He made quick work of traveling the short distance to the door. He knocked before trying the handle noticing it was unlocked. I swear people are silly. I could be coming in here to kill everyone but I guess we are not doing that... He walked in. His white hair falling into his face. "Hey everyone. Cold weather we are having." He did a little wave. Awkward but smooth. Good job playa... He glanced over at the women and winked causally before leaning against the wall. "What is up."

The redhead was about to answer when he jumped at the door opening to allow yet another guest inside his home. He immediately stood and offered a nervous bow to the stranger. "Um, welcome! Can I get you anything to eat or drink?" He didn't even bother questioning why this random stranger had just burst into his home, seeming to accept it without a second thought.

Did he just... wink at me? Afina stared at the newcomer with a confused expression. Please don't tell me he's just going to flirt... Hopper, who rested by her feet now, gave a protective glare. He didn't trust a single soul in this room, besides Afina.

"You should really consider locking your door when you shut it, Luke," the cat purred out. Her tail gave a small flick as her eyes glanced over the newcomer. Funny how he just let people into his home so easily. It almost seemed foolish that his guard was so lowered. It did appear like he had more to him, though. Was that what drew her to him? The secrets he hid underneath? The cat had a hard time pinpointing it.

In the frozen home , full of iron and rust lies the sleeping giant (metaphor) , zen as he snoozed comfortably inside his home beside a cold blue fire , roaring in his furnace as there seems to not Be a single problem wrong, he doesent really listen in to the things outside but he will eventually get up... eventually

Once while he was sleeping a icicle cracked and fell upon his helmet , easily sliding off as he has finally awoken and walked outside shouting "WHo DID THAT?!?!"

Odette was annoyed. Also, lost. Very, very lost. "Damn, where did this mist come from?" She'd been walking through the forest for a couple hours, and now she couldn't even see her hand in front of her face. Finally, she makes it out of the fog, stumbling over a rock as she takes in her new surroundings. "I don't remember any village being out this way...?"

Suddenly a shout from nearby makes her jump about a foot in the air, "WHo DID THAT?!?!"

After taking a good look at the surroundings he squints his eyes and looks around to the somewhat innocent village before he says in a sly way -_- " I'm watching you... AND GIRL!!! STOP STUMBLING OVER ROCKS! It's bad for your feet!!..." Ocean123 Ocean123

Odette took a calming breath before responding, "Okay! Thanks! I guess..." She had more important things to worry about than rocks and grouches. She needed to find her sisters.

Suddenly, a thought occured to the purple haired girl that had her turning back to walk closer to that yelling guy. "Have you seen two women pass theough here? A tall, klutzy redhead and a short, quiet brunette?"

As the most was still foggy the grumbler came walk-in towards the purple haired girl casually as the grumbles came closer,

From infront of her came his face and body with his sheathed sword " the names .. Zen.. pleased to meet you .. " he tries to build up
A nervous smile as he looks at her, slowly offering his cold iron handshake " s-sorry for being a bit grumpy.. I just don't come by many people.." his cheeks turn rose red as he crosses his arms going back to focus

" I think I saw some weird lizard girl, a furry boy , some brunette black girl ... and a albino.. does that help?" He asks curiously to her , still blushing just a tiny bit

Odette frowned slightly as she nodded along to the information given. "Oh, right. I'm Odette. And don't worry about it." She offered a sweet smile before going back to frowning softly. "So you haven't seen them? Sorry to bother you. If you see them, could you let them know their sister is looking for them?" She was trying to be polite, but her nerves were frayed; she had a terrible feeling that something had happened to her sisters and couldn't afford to stand around and make small talk. "Nice meeting you, but I really have to continue my search."

He sighs softly as a bit of cool mist escaped his breath , " I understand.. carry on with your quest then youngling..." he sighs a bit, disappointed as he walks back to his home, closing the frosty gate and door. He relaxes on his cold couch and takes a quick nap most likely going to sleep for a while ... Ocean123 Ocean123

Dante wiggled his nose slowly and smiled at the shocked look on Afina's face. It was clear she was not down for that wink... and Dante was clear that he gave zero fucks on that one. He let out a puff of air before turning to Luke "No thank you but I second the locking the doors. I could have killed all of you." A slow smile broke out on the man's face before he shifted against the wall. "Now now. I just moved in over by the water. That wooden cabin. I'll be here for awhile."

Luke nodded in response, a light blush dusting his cheeks. He knew it was foolish to leave the door unlocked, but he hadn't been thinking of that at the time. Unsure what else to do, the redhead sat back down after saying a quick, "Welcome to the village."

Afina rolled her eyes as she fed Hopper an unused tea leaf. It was another strange aspect the fox had. She wasn't much for dating or flirting, in fact, she barely even believed in love herself. It always seemed so distant and out of her reach. Something that only existed in books and movies, but never in real life. It seemed too perfect, too unreal.

"Ah yes, I saw the house on my way over here. It's quite a lovely spot. Well built," the cat complimented, well, human now. She had gotten tired of staying in her animal state. Being human was much more comfortable. Anna brushed a loose strand of curly dark hair back in its respectful place as she once again examined everyone in the room with her now brown eyes. It was good to get a nice look at everyone a second time, it helped her catch details she might've missed before.

Odette

Startling slightly at the rather loud snoring coming from inside the icy home, the purple haired girl wondered just how fast that guy could fall so deeply asleep. She was a little jealous, if she was being honest. It took her forever to get to sleep, often requiring her to listen to her favourite music playlist. She was having a hard time figuring out what she should do now. Finally, the young woman walked up to the house and knocked on the door. "Mr. Zen? It's Odette again. Sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if I could ask a couple more questions?"

Luke

The wolf-boy watched the interaction going on in his home curiously. He wasn't sure how it had come down to a bunch of people he didn't really know hanging around at his house, but he didn't particularly mind the company. Honestly, he was just glad that it was big enough to accommodate everyone without having to be packed in like sardines.
