Keeping his stance open, Bang watched as Haruna corrected her positioning in the air. This was something that Bang wanted to see. She even went for a further attack. Now, a small bit of rock had hit Bang while he was upside down; that was enough for Haruna to stop fighting, but she was already neck-deep. Might as well finish it out strong. Whereas Haruna could have stopped her offensive due to the amount of damage that Bang had inflicted, she still kept coming. It was commendable for a fight that served as an entry point for the first day at school.

Haruna rocketed down toward Bang, her leg slamming into his chest. The impact caused a small amount of bruising and even momentarily stunned the master. However, allowing the kick to hit was essential to Haruna’s smooth landing. Bang didn’t fall to the ground due to the impact, though he did slide back a few inches. He allowed Haruna to land before bowing slightly.

“That’ll be all, Haruna. You can go back to your spot.”

Bang searched his cheat sheet for the name of the next student to be tested. This time, it was Kath. He was quite late on answering Calypso’s questions, but Bang was a looney toon. Even minutes later, after a small portion of fighting, Bang remembered that he was going to answer the question… Before he forgot.

“Miss Calypso, if you would please stick around until the end of the testing period, as I am unsure what other victims of havoc and bloodshed will be added to the list.” Obviously, he teased. But unfortunately, it was also true. There would, without a doubt be more students that would end up needing the nurse’s assistance but Bang was unsure of what their condition would be.

Because he’s not a fucking mind reader.

“Katharine, you are up next. I trust you’ve concocted an approach based on watching how both of your cousins performed?” Anyone who had yet to fight should have at least been taking mental notes. There was a common theme among each of the participants; be it his laziness, being caught off guard or stubborn, each student had managed at least one hit on Bang in any given capacity. Some of it was by trickery, others used power.

The old man stretched a bit, waiting for Kath to take her position before him. He knew of the teen’s quirk and how potentially dangerous it could have been, but it would have only been a matter of time before Bang would end up finding out just how serious it was for himself. That was the point of the tests, after all.

These kids had it easy. Bang understood that it was equally as taxing to maintain an understanding of why heroes were necessary in a world where villains could strike at any moment. Just because they had sporadic timing and horrible coordination did not mean they were not capable of smartening up. Hell, a small legion had already begun to grow in numbers on the darker side of the world with Quirks. Bang recalled of the time a few months back where he had been called to duty in Southern Tokyo. It was the last time Bang was involved in an actual altercation that required his level of skill.

NZ8j.gif

There was a long road ahead of these students. Even Bang knew that there was a thing or two he could learn from them - much like he had classes in the past. Even at his old age, there was always room for growth and further self-development. It would never end, not until he was at least six feet under the dirt.

Calypso

Calypso chuckled as the wolf girl went through shock, and then gratitude. She gave one of her characteristic warm smiles.

“Don’t even worry about it my dear,” she gave a playful wink, returning her attention to the shirtless old man in front of her. He finished brutalizing one of his students before giving her a list of people she needed to cure. What in the world would he do if she wasn’t here to heal them so quickly. He would have a room full of students unable to train within moments.

“What do you mean you shot him through a field goal?” She snarled. “For your sake I hope that is an exaggeration.”

Dark Side approached her and asked her to remain after school. Allison let out a slow sigh. It wasn’t staying after that bothered her, it was what it meant.

“I take it you are not asking me to stay because of my riveting conversational skills?” she asked, somewhat defeated. “Just because I CAN mend them, doesn’t mean there should be reason for me to do it all the time.”

Allison moved past the teacher and on to the two boys in front of her. The dragon child was obviously injured, with a dark purple bruise showing up on his jaw. Why did he always have to go for the face? These were children! The tall blonde breathed heavily out her nose in disgust as she tended to the dragon child.

“What on earth?” She did her best to hide her scowl, it wasn’t the child’s fault after all. She didn’t give him time to protest and grabbed his face firmly in her well-manicured hand. With just the first few lines of “Bohemian Rhapsody” she was able to watch the bruising fade and the jaw return to normal.

“That should feel better,” she said softly. “I have a feeling I’m going to be seeing a lot of you two in my office,” she addressed the dragon and the tall blonde beside him. “Let’s have a look at you,” she began to examine the other boy. His injuries weren’t overly serious, although worse than his classmates. He must have put up a hell of a fight, or really give Bang a reason to go after him. She finished the chorus of “Bohemian Rhapsody” and concentrated on the anatomy of his body, focusing on the areas that seemed to have taken the most damage.

“Try to prove me wrong boys, okay? As much as I like to see your smiling face, I don’t like having to patch you up after stupid fights.”

As she was finishing up, another student came out of a fight. She didn’t look as bad as some of the others, but would befit from being looked over. She met the child at the edge of the field.

“Miss Calypso, if you would please stick around until the end of the testing period, as I am unsure what other victims of havoc and bloodshed will be added to the list.” Bang said with a teasing tone. It was lost on Allison who did not appreciate it.

“You know Bang,” She said being the guise of a teasing tone, “I’ll remember this the next time you need patched up.” She gave her newest patient a quiet hum to get her to feeling better and sent her on her way.

This was getting out of hand. When this was all said and done, she would sit down with Connie about this.

Jack-The-Ripper-Assassin-Of-Black-thelefteris24-40916630-491-500.jpg I drank a gulp of air as my turn arrived to confront mr. Master Bang. The man certainly still seemed intimidating, I knew as much, but I was trying to become a hero for her, I couldn't let little things like fear get in my way. Besides, intimidating as he was, he certainly wasn't the thing that scared me most by a long shot. Nor was that fear enough to qualm certain other emotions within me. I finally I stepped into the hypothetical "starting line" the other contenders had, a little bit of distance away from Bang. With open fingers, I raised both my hands to my mouth's level and bit my pinkie fingers.

It hurt a little bit, but I wasn't sure if I could reveal the tool in my body. Even if they were not gonna get me in trouble, I might need them as an Ace in the hole. I wasn't totally sure how I compared to the kitty or the wolf girl, but I was certainly fast and agile but my own stamina and capacity to last in a fight were rather subpar, hence, I had moved the objects to areas that would knock me out immediately, concentrating them mostly in my head, my neck, chest and fists. To someone who didn't know what I was hiding it might just seem like I had some tough ribs, punches and skull, or not considering who this guy was. That said, I wasn't so naive as to genuinely believe I stood a chance against the old hero in front of me, the professor. I readied the saliva in my mouth: My only goal here was to spit in pretty ol' face, figuratively or literally.

I did not bother saying a word. Most likely my gaze alone would tell him I was coming, but as I ran and leaped forward in his direction, there was still that minimal chance that I would somehow catch him by surprise. I vowed to myself as I charged, even if he broke me a bone or two, even if he punched me so hard I was bleeding all over, for Runa's sake, I would not rest until I had achieved my goals. My primary strategy would be of the "hit and run" kind, I would attempt to punch him and dodge his attacks. In the event any of them seemed like it would connect, I had bitten myself so that I could expand my skin to spread out the impact and make his attack much less significant. Either way if he hit I would be pretty hurt, but at least that way it wouldn't hinder my capacity to keep going too much.

All of this meant I had to stay pretty close to the ground until the opportunity presented itself for me to reach his face, if not with my hands then at least with my spit. He was too fast for me to be able to afford leaping above him, if I even could on this short a distance of leeway. Thus, as I reached his immediate vicinity, my first attempt was to his left leg, hoping to get him off balance. That said, while this attack was almost surely going to fail, I was already ready to dodge an incoming attack and slide a bit down and to the right, and to immediately aim a good fist up to his groin.

Daraka Onogumo

Daraka peers sideways at Darkside-sama not sure whether or not he’s going to heed her warnings. That’s when the music witch grabs his face and begins singing to him.

“OI! Get off my face!!”

The bruised jaw and hurt leg heal up in no time, though Daraka does not hide his disapproval. His father always taught him that enduring the pain from wound healing, you will be able to endure an enemy onslaught. Wrenching his face from her grasp, Daraka walks away with hands behind his head...not wishing to show he was infact grateful deep down. Turning to Rocky, he smirks showing his approval of his fight against Bang.

“Not bad dirt-breath, looks like you lost two fights today. Hahaha”

Bang noticed that the girl had withheld a decent speed; naturally, it would be faster given her size. However, did her power suffer? Given her quirk, perhaps it was a possibility. There was absolutely no way to tell without taking a few shots and seeing if any of it actually stuck. After all the physical excitement that the old man was getting from these (highly) shortened brawl sessions, he was sure to sleep well tonight. The first shot came to Bang’s leg. As to avoid taking damage to his kneecap, or ligaments, the master raised his leg up to allow his shin to take the majority of the hit.

The old man’s forearms, as well as shins, had no nerve endings capable of operation. Part of his life being devoted to martial arts meant that there would be times that he needed to block attacks. Not everything was easily dodged. Normal people took damage when they absorbed a hit by blocking with their arms or legs because it was like any other part of the body.

Starting from the time he was a boy, Bang’s masters used to whack at his forearms and shins for considerable amounts of time. While some might consider this torture, it was something that was necessary for his style. Any nerves that didn’t get polished by bamboo sticks were polished by hand-to-hand combat in training, competitions, and further fights outside martial arts.

Despite the fact that Kath might have been a bit faster than the average due to her size, Bang was still immeasurably faster. His leg was still in the air to block the feint punch before his right leg left the ground to slam into Katharine’s face. Undoubtedly, the pressure of the kick would send her a few feet sideways. She was able to get her punch off to his groin, and in quick succession, Bang’s foot would viciously slam into the side of the small child’s face as punishment.

Er, teen.

Bang did not want to punt the girl like a soccer ball, promise. When she ducked down to give him a punch to the groin, it threw off the timing of his kick - she moved closer into his foot much like Johanna did. In both cases, momentum was used against the girls. Where it differed was that Bang had trapped Johanna into moving a certain way. Katharine had moved to attack an area that Bang didn’t foresee.

Given the connection and the cheap shot, Bang figured Katharine had some sort of need for retribution; a grudge. One hand holding his junk, Bang turned to Calypso upon landing on his feet. He was slightly hunched over.

“For the record, if Little father Von Kleimerheimer gives us a phone call because he got a complaint about a certain incident that just happened… It was her that punched me.” Bang’s face was a bit red, but the pain was far less than it would have been had he not been the strongest old man the universe had ever seen.

Haruna Ishikawa
As Haruna's foot connected to Bang's chest she was shocked she didn't expect it to it hit but it didn't. Not only did she hit but she actually sent him backwards a few inches. She only just managed to land on her own two feet "combo it combo it." was the only though running through her mind so she attempted it. Rising her right leg she attempted a kick only for her to stagger backwards it seemed the amount of damage she had took was just too much and the pressure that the flying kick caused had more of an effect than she originally thought. She expected Bang to counter however she heard some words that put her at ease.

“That’ll be all, Haruna. You can go back to your spot.” With those words a smile covered Haruna's face as Bang bowed Haruna returned the gesture bowing towards master Bang. She was often a bit of an asshole but she showed respect when respect was earned. She began limping away from the fighting arena taking another look back at Bang and noticed some small bruising on his chest, did she do that she wasn't sure but it wasn't there when the fight started. Continuing limping away she began slightly chuckling to herself sure she got her ass handed to her but she managed to bruse the great Master Bang which was an achievement in itself.

Returning to her spot at the edge of the field with the now large grin covering her face she was met by what seemed to be the nurse, who hummed something and her pain quickly subsided which made things much better. "Thanks doc" Haruna said grin still intact on her face as she walked over to Rocky, Daraka, Dark side and Connie-sensei. She looked over at Rocky and Daraka. "You see that shit I hit him thee times and even left some bruising." Haruna said with a cocky expression on her face.

Her eyes wandered over to Dark side and she pondered asking something for a second to which she decided to. "So you know how my idiot brother and that oversized lizard" She quickly pointed at Rocky and Daraka before continuing. "are getting punished with two extra hours of physical training per weekday now this may sound dumb since it really is but I was wondering if I could jump in on that after all it would take an idiot to not attempt to get some extra training from some of if the best pro-heroes around." Haruna took a short breath but it was clear she was going to continue. "So whatcha recon is there room for one clearly suicidal girl?" Haruna asked she was sure this was a dumb idea since this was a punishment for the two.

Jack-The-Ripper-Assassin-Of-Black-thelefteris24-40916630-491-500.jpg I was just so happy there for a second. sure, he blocked one of my punches with his leg, but I was aiming for the leg anyway, and then I even managed to hit him where it hurts! But I wasn't done yet, I still needed to reach one more place, but before I could I witnessed a high-speed limb slamming into me. It hurt extra bad because of how Rocky had hit me there earlier too, but fortunately, I had taken precautions. Even as I was sent flying and landed about meter and a half away from the teacher, I still managed to get back up relatively quickly, between the objects that had been placed in my head for defense and the expanding skin that helped absorb the impact. Still, that was one POWERFUL hit. There was a little bit of slightly soft fur disguised into my hair right now, even I only knew of it because I could feel the thing hanging a little outside my head. Pretending to scratch the back of my head, I shoved it back inside, knowing that if it was not for my precautions he would probably have at least broken my nose, if not the rest of my face too. Not that I hadn't gone to enough healers to know they could probably take care of something like that.

While I had originally planned to make this the moment I threw some complements his way to distract him, his current attitude suggested he'd see right through all of it. In which case, it was now all or nothing. I leaned forward into that stance racers used before sprinting, then off I went. I kept my body lowered as I ran back to Bang, hoping to use that momentum to jump. This time, I was all out. I bgena flipping from side to side, zizaging in hopes of confusing him about which direction I would go. As soon as I approached I would once again slide a little sideways, this time on the left, but I wouldn't change direction again, instead I would leap up, readying my mouth with the saliva whiel covering my face partially with my hands. Maybe he would take that as fear of getting hit in the face again, but more than anything it was an attempt too purposefully expose my belly so he would try to stop me there instead. His reflexes and speed surely had to be reduced from my previous attacks. When he hit me, I would grab him, his neck or torso if I could, his arm if I couldn't, and I would try biting. If I couldn't bite, then plan B would be enough:

If I failed to bite into him, I would simply, naturally, spit on his pretensious face. And probably loose afterwards, but carrying a tiny bit of victory he could never take away from me.

Bang was still hunched over slightly. Kath was still going for gold. Part of Bang was clearly unhappy because obviously, this was class - and he was in a unique position of pain. The other part of the old man was also satisfied because when it mattered, empathy meant nothing. In the real world, with villains, this would be the right thing to do. In this position given the context - well, hell no.

When it came to various types of pain, Bang was no stranger. He had suffered broken arms from practice sessions with the best heroes to ever live. The old man had broken legs in his acrobatic displays and in battle. He had cuts, scrapes, gashes as well as their scars to serve as reminders for how he had been tested in his life. Yet, there was not one time that those types of pain even came close to when Bang took shots to the ol’ baby maker.

The old man’s mobility was shot. The pain was radiating down his leg. Wearing a cup might have been a good idea. This was the first year that a student went for the 'dirty' route in attempts to disable Bang and win a fight. When the little girl came lunging at Bang, he watched with a somewhat bored expression on his face. Then she latched onto his gigantic trapezius. Kath was biting down much like a parasitic fish would do to a shark, Bang allowed the girl to hang there for a minute before turning to Izanami and extending both of his hands into the air in an exaggerated shrug. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

“Is this what we’re doing now?” Bang asked Izanami, rhetorically. “I - I don’t really understand. How the hell did this kid even get into my class?” Eyes half-open due to the mental exhaustion of dealing with the temperaments of children, Bang nonchalantly shoved his palm into the face of the girl, pushing her onto the ground. Walking up to his equal, he removed the notepad from his back pocket and handed it off to her. The appropriate names were already scratched off.

“I’m going to bow out. You can handle the rest, right? Make sure that Kath also enjoys detention with the rest of her family, please?” Bang asked.

“But where will you be going, Bang- Domo?” Dark Side asked, enthusiastically.

“To ice my nutsack.” The old man responded, gruffly.

Murmuring further gibberish to himself, the old man would take his leave; placing both hands in his pockets and walking away from the field. He didn’t even bother to bid his students farewell, nor did he make comment on how Izanami would finish class out for the day. Hell, he didn’t thank them for their time nor apologize to them for his rough display. He simply disappeared into the depths of the hallway in which the class had came from. Day one had turned out to be an absolute travesty. Though, soon it would redeem himself when he was in his recliner at the dojo, with a six-pack of beer and an ice pack.

Bang would sleep well tonight knowing Izanami’s detention sessions.

弓美 川口

Yami was trembling. Whether it was because of her catching a cold the night prior or because of how anxious she was, Yami didn't know. What she did know, though, was that she was eventually going to have her butt handed to her by a ridiculously old man.

As soon as she woke up that morning, Yami knew her first day at Shiketsu Academy was going to be a living, breathing, fiery hell. She never really wanted to go, and she certainly didn't care much about being a hero. All she wanted to do was help people, and while that was in a hero's job description, stress and injury was, too. Yami didn't think she'd enjoy either of those things. However, her father suggested, practically demanded, she do something with her quirk, and it's not like she could do much else. Anyways, if her teachers thought she couldn't succeed in their classes, she'd be bumped down to the general classes. She'd be fine with that and would probably even sabotage herself if she hadn't imagined the face her father'd give her. This was what he wanted for her. Therefore, she'd do her best. Hopefully.

So despite her horribly congested nose, she got up from the couch- which she had dozed off on waiting for her father to get home from work-, dressed in her uniform, and began her trek to school earlier than usual. Surely, Yami couldn't take the train with her cold. She couldn't guarantee her mask would keep her from blinding anyone close to her if she were to sneeze, and the morning train was always packed tight with people. The trip spent walking was long but was definitely worth it for that reason, and Yami was able to get to the campus earlier, as well. She sat in the back with the hopes she wouldn't be picked on by whoever they had as a homeroom teacher, and it must've worked, or perhaps she was unnoticeable compared to her peers, because nobody in the room paid her any attention. Score.

Now, she was standing out in a field, fiddling with a small strip of paper. It had the number twelve written on it, which meant that Yami was among the last few students to fight their teacher. She hoped- no, prayed- that Master Boom would be tuckered out by the time it was her turn, but seeing him pummel student after student, all more qualified than her, she knew that wasn’t going to be the case. So, she stood there, frozen solid like the rocks that Rocky- no, Stoney- kid made rise from the ground. Even before she got there that morning, Yami could’ve told anyone her quirk pales in comparison to her classmates, but now, she knew for certain. Hell, Cat-boy got farther than she ever would. He was also her height, which bugged her a little, but nonetheless, the kid was impressive. Every one of the students around her were beyond impressive, and Yami was, well.. Yami. She wasn’t prepared, either, not like that Jono- no, Bozo- kid. All she had was her quirk and the years she spent lazing around.

Yami wanted to do nothing more than stick her tail between her legs and run away. She didn’t have a tail, though, not like Dog-girl, and she had a feeling that if she attempted to escape, Master Poof would break her legs. Maybe, just maybe, he wasn’t that cruel, but from what Yami had seen, she definitely thought he was.

“Just show off your quirk,” her dad said that morning. She had to call him a few times before he answered, and when he did, she poured out all of her worries to him. “It’ll be fine!” He said. Obviously, he hadn’t met Master Pow, and he severely overestimated her ability.

Yami’s worries weren’t met, however, because Master Bong bowed out to, uh.. ice his nutsack. From watching the skirmish, she didn’t have to guess that the girl- Wrath?- did a number on him, although seemingly not by fair terms. Without a doubt, she’d have to thank the little Rage later since she wouldn’t have to fight an old man. He’d probably continue the exercise later, or maybe their other teachers would be just as rough.. but for now, Yami was safe.

She must’ve backed up when Master Pewpew started to walk off, probably too afraid to be in his presence, because she could feel somebody behind her. Yami tensed up and slowly but surely turned her head to get a look at the perpetrator. She came face-to-face with a boy she didn’t know, although it wasn’t like she knew anyone anyways. Her first instinct was to apologize, but for whatever reason, she blanked out for a few seconds. He was tall, a lot taller than her at least, and had ridiculously lengthy hair. She frowned, touching her own asymmetrical hair with her free hand. Her father made her cut most of it off because it could and would be used against her, but seeing him made her wish she never picked up a pair of scissors. Realizing she had been staring at him for longer than what was socially acceptable, Yami bowed over and over again. She didn’t know how he’d react, but she hoped it wasn’t going to be with anger. “Sorry! Sorry!” She began rambling, “I didn’t mean to bump into you. I really didn’t. Sorry!”

Dark Side
She took a minute to take in a deep breath as she watched the match in front of her with the little girl. She hadn't done a lick of research on any of the students in the class, so she was unaware of the girl's actual age. It was unlike her, but dealing with her depression was a new thing and things she even enjoyed wasn't even fun anymore. That feeling was changing though as she was around the kids. Their youth, their vigor, their recklessness even was giving her a jolt of energy. Maybe this wasn't just a way to hide her while she healed and investigated the incident? Maybe it was also to help her mental health.

Her attention was broken when one of the girls who had gone previously approached her, inquiring her about being apart of the 'punishment'. Those eyes did their thing again, darting around the girl's face for a few seconds before a rare smile played across her lips. There was something odd about the smile...it wasn't joyful, it seemed, ominous?

Begin Flashback
"But wouldn't an alias and appearance change be useless if my quirk is the same?"

The spook readjusted his weight in his chair as he looked over some papers before looking back to the woman,"Well, yes. But one you're not the only one with a shadow quirk, and two, you won't put color into your creations like you usually do. That's what people know you for, so keep them like shadows."

"That makes my fighting style a lot different you know....deception is a bi-"

"The point is not to be in any fights Oda-sama. Your quirk in its shadowy form should be enough to teach kids, ok?" his voice had shown a bit of irritation in it, as if he was speaking to a child.

Izanami only sighed, turning her back on the man to walk out of the room. She wasn't happy with what she had heard but she knew it was what was best for her.

"One more thing Oda-sama..." the man said, causing Izanami to glance over her shoulder,"No teleporting..."

End Flashback

The only solace that Izanami got was her training, but her training wasn't for the faint of heart. It was the one thing she appreciated from her family, and the one thing she could teach these kids that didn't require her to rely on her quirk so she didn't have to alter it. The smile had not left her face, as she turned away from the girl,"If this is what you desire. I don't see why not."

Izanami attention returned to the fight just in time to see Bang catch a blow into the groin, and then not even a few seconds later the girl had attached herself to Bang and stuck to her like a leech. Her smile had faded....and instead, her face turned into this guy's below...

226.gif

Master Bang was in just as much bewilderment as she was, perhaps more because it was his class and he was experiencing it. Once he had pushed her off and walked towards her and trading his notepad off she blinked.

“But where will you be going, Bang- Dono?” Dark Side asked, enthusiastically. IZANAMI DOES NOTHING ENTHUSTIACALLY SHE JUST DOES SHE'S A ROBOT

His response was a bit off-putting but predictable, and she managed to shrug,"We have a nurse out here with a healing quirk you know. But I'll gladly take over." She glanced at the notepad and noted who was next. She stuffed the notepad into her pants pocket and tossed her sports jacket on top of Connie. Tossing her heels to the side, she unbuttoned the top couple buttons of her shirt and walking slowly as her socks disappeared off her feet in a shadowy smoke, she walking on to the field barefoot,"Arietty....It's your turn. Don't hold back either, I need the stretch before detention."

Ari had been watching Kath’s fight with Master Bang with fascination… and horror. What in the world had gotten into this girl? She was a fierce competitor and Ari was really just excited that she was not the one that had to fight her. Or Master Bang for that matter. The kick to the old man’s groin had given him reason enough to be done for the day. Apparently, it didn’t matter how strong you go, some place still hurt. Maybe Ari had good luck along with psychic powers, she was supposed to go after Katherine and it appeared that her teacher was done.

When Master Bang turned the notepad over to Miss Dark Side, Ari’s heart sank. She wasn’t sure if this was better, or worse. Master Bang may be a violent, rough old man, but Arietty couldn’t get a read on the female teacher. Everything she did was so ridged, so calculated. She had no idea what kind of fight she was in for. At least if she had been fighting Master Bang, she could use what knowledge she had gained from watching the others fight.

“Hey Katherine!” she gave Kath a warm smile when she came off the field. “What a fight! I can’t believe how fierce you were. You’ll have to show me some moves sometimes. That was crazy!” She was very enthusiastic for her friend. Katherine didn’t let her small stature limit her at all, in fact she used it to her advantage, and that was something Ari had the utmost respect for.

She heard Miss Dark Side call her name and took a deep breath. There was no sense worrying about it now. It was too late, it was her turn. All she could do now was focus on the task at hand. Don’t get knocked out immediately, and don’t let your powers get out of control.

In fact, Ari had gotten through the entrance exams on her telekinesis alone and her quick thinking. The only person at the school who even knew about her telepathy was Jono. Sometimes though, she couldn’t control it, especially in high stress situations. Arietty had to keep her cool.

“Well, that’s me,” Ari said to Kath feigning excitement. “Wish me luck!” Her warm smiled quickly faded as she made her way to stand across from Dark Side. She braced herself, took a breath and looked ahead.

“I’ll do my best Sensei,” Ari said with pseudo-conviction. Her mind was running a hundred miles an hour, trying to get a read on what was to come.

Akane

Akane watched the fight between the dragon-boy and the teacher followed by the one with Haruna and the teacher with some interest. He had to admit, they were skilled especially the lizard boy though rather wild. His interest in the fights, however, peaked when Kath literally punched the teacher in his balls during their fight. Akane couldn't help it he busted out laughing, his arms wrapping around his stomach as he tries to get control of himself only to begin laughing more when the childlike girl literally clung to Mister Bang like she was some kind of Koala. After a few moments, he finally calmed down and reached up to wipe a laughter induced tear when a short girl bumped into him. Noticing the way she stared at him, he looked down at her while raising an eyebrow. As if noticing what she was doing, the girl began bowing multiple times making him reach over to grab her shoulders with the intention of stopping her.

"It's fine, it's fine." He says, shooting the girl one of his pretty smiles to show he wasn't mad.

"It was an accident so don't worry about it. I'm Akane by the way, you are?" The long-haired male asked, removing his hands from the girl's shoulders so he could instead put his hand out for a handshake. He was very much so in a good mood at the moment so he didn't have a problem with being friendly at the moment especially when the girl clearly looked scared that he was going to mad about her bumping into him on accident. A part of him wondered if she had an experience like that before or if he just looked an asshole.

Watching the fight between Kath and Bang, Jono knew the old man had finally had enough. Maybe it was due to Kath’s fighting style. Hell, maybe it was because he was just old. Either way, Jono wondered if he would have lucked out had he not had the pleasure of dealing with the Master as opposed to Dark Strike. She was to take the mantle of tester after he decided he had enough for the day. Jono watched as Kath proceeded to the sidelines and Bang disappeared back into the school.

Picking up the wireless set of headphones from his neck, Jono placed them over his ears. He slid his smartphone out from the depths of his pocket, turning on whatever song was left idle in the queue. This was one of Jono’s tell-tale signs that he was feeling anxious. Whenever he felt nervous, he blocked out the rest of the world. Jono was not one for parties, bars, hell even going out to an arcade was a task some days. Though, for some reason, if he had those headphones on it eased how it felt. That, and a few cigarettes, but unfortunately those weren’t allowed on school grounds.

The young man pushed himself up to his feet. Despite the fact that he could hear nothing but hip-hop music radiating from his headphones currently, he previously had been listening in class. He knew who was fighting next. Crystal blue iris’ searched for the form of his ex among the rest of the students before they finally fixated on her.

Watching as Arietty made her way up to the middle of the field, Jono noticed a pit growing in his stomach. What if she got hurt? She wasn’t a fighter - not like the teachers at this school were practically forced to be. Not like other students were. Would Dark Strike take a similar approach to Bang? Arietty had incredible promise, but she had not truly tapped into even the smallest percentage of her powers. Mostly out of fear.

Jono really wished he had the same issue.

Standing tall behind the rest of the class, Jono crossed his arms over his chest and kept his eyes fixated between the two. His teeth were softly chewing on the inside of his cheek, subconsciously using it as an outlet to not outwardly show how he was feeling. A soft bounce of his right heel occurred every so often to accompany the nervous chewing, but nothing past that. Either way, he wasn’t doing enough damage to his body to notice.

All you have to do is get a hand on her, Ari. You touch her and you can pass.

Jono was quite sure the girl wouldn’t be able to hear what he was saying because she was not touching him - though, part of him spoke to himself in hopes that she could miraculously figure it out. Regardless of the outcome, Jono knew that he had no right to step in. He couldn’t really do anything, even at the outcome. Their breakup was messy, both exchanged words they didn’t mean... Well, she could have meant plenty but his meant nothing. It was irrelevant at this point.

The thought of the entire ordeal made Jono want to stuff his head under a pillow for a few days.

Dark Side
She wasn't sure which one was Arietty, but as soon as she saw her break from the crowd she was focused on her. Everything started to move in slow motion for the young woman. She began to observe every bit of Arietty's body, and to everyone else, her eyes were twitching.

She braced herself, Izanami could tell her muscles were tensing up. At the very least this meant that she wasn't going to take the initiative, which was fine. It wasn't a bad choice if you weren't sure what your opponent was capable of. Considering this was a false identity meant to protect her, she was nothing more than a barely known pro-hero. Her falsified file and history would make sure that even if someone went snooping, it would show nothing more than that.

This meant it was near impossible to prepare for 'Dark Side' who even on the faculty information sheets and site, only listed her Quirk as Shadow. Ari also got the benefit, however, considering Izanami had no idea what her quirk was. She had not prepared her hands in stone like Haruna, used rocks like Rock, transformed like Daraka. She didn't have a mutant quirk like Johanna and Felix, as far as she knew she was about as good as the Jono kid whose quirk she still wasn't sure about.

One thing she could count on was experience. So she immediately went back over the girl's body and stance -well lack-there-of, once more and picked out based off of it which side she likely favored, which way she'd likely move, and took a step forward before almost in an instant closing the distance between her and the girl. She slid within the girl's stance, throwing a punch at her abdomen with the bottom of her fist quicker than the girl could possibly react. It wasn't a hard punch, though that was relative considering Izanami's strength was far beyond the girl in front of her's, but it was intended to simply be a quick punch to cause the girl to double over. As the girl did, she slid her left foot between the girl's two, grabbing her left wrist (she was on the left side of her body) preparing throw her down on the ground.

Jack Black.Assassin.full.2170863.png It was a tad disappointing that, in the end, Bang didn't put much of a fight. That wasn't me being cocky, but me realizing that at some point he just stopped trying to put me down for real. The fact he let me bite him after he had just seen me biting myself earlier (thus making it obvious that was the condition for my quirk's activation) was a telltale sign of that, and it almost tempted me to overlap his hand with his ballsack now that my quirk was active for his body. I ended up deciding against it, however, and instead got pushed down to the ground. Did I win? Did I loose? The answer in the end wasn't fully clear, but it seemed to have brought down his mood a little at least, making me grin when he decided to leave. Runa, this was for you!

Still, while anyone would be upset at getting attacked from an angle such as that, there was a strange tension in the air, students complained about the cheap tactics I used. Well, what did they expect? A hero with decades of experience fighting on home ground against a student with a young scarred body who had just been forced to make an air chair for at least 10 minutes. Yeah, THAT was fairness, suuuure. A hero needed to know every trick in the book to protect both their reputation and the people. A hero achieved what they came to do, nomatter the personal cost. A hero stood up for the righteous and the innocent and against those that sought to opress that. While I wasn't particularly concerned with being a hero in of itself, I had wanted to at least showcase I wouldn't just accept the kind of treatment he dished out to students, especially the kind of what he had done to Runa, whom he could not even forgive after two people pleaded him. For a small infraction too.

Suddenly, someone called out my name. From the corner of my eye, I saw none other than Arietty approaching me, then she complimented me on how she thought I fought. I found myself blushing just a little bit, but then crossed my arms and nodded in approval.

"Well, yeah, naturally. I AM a Von Kleinerheld after all." I puffed what little chest I had with pride. "I'll gladly teach you a move or two. Though, I doubt I can do it before your upcoming fight. What number were you again? In the midst of this whole mess I kinda forgot."

It ended up being revealed that Arietty was right up next. Did she come talk to me for advise? She told me to wish her luck now, and I gently reached my hand to tap her shoulder, while also moving ahead of her just by a small margin, whispering into her ear:

"Actually, I wanna show you something. Don't tell anyone." Pratically shoving it into her face, I showed her the palm of my hand, and closed my eyes to concentrate on the objects within. A small handle popped out just a little bit out the palm of my hand. "I have a few objects in my body. I guess you could say I cheated a little. I don't know how I would have faired if i hadn't so...even if this doesn't quite go perfect, just remember you can still improve and you're not on some layer beneath the others."

Arietty

Kath was like something out of one of those cute little shops that Ari would buy. She was so cute on the outside, but just under the surface was a girl who would bite your neck to win a fight. Arietty liked that a lot. Kath asked her what number she was.

“Just after you actually, number 8!” she tried to put as much peppy attitude into her voice as she could to hide all the nerves. She listened to all of Kath’s advice and gave her a genuine warm smile.

“Thanks Kath, and thanks for trusting me with that. I don’t really expect it to go anywhere near perfect, but you are right, hopefully this will help me improve. Thanks for being in my corner.” She placed her hand on the girl’s shoulder before moving off to take her place on the field.

Ari could feel Jono’s eyes on her as she prepared for the fight. ‘Wonderful’ she thought sarcastically to herself. She was nervous enough already without the added pressure. Things between them now were so rough, Arietty didn’t even know how to talk him in passing. It was sad to think about, because this summer they had blast together. He was the only person so far in her life that had ever made her feel…comfortable, like she could breathe. She was her truest form of herself around him, which in her opinion was probably also why they ended.

She knew she could be tough to handle sometimes, riddled with self doubt and feelings of inadequacy. Ari knew how tiring it had to be to have to always reassure her, it wasn’t his responsibility. She had a lot of growing up to do, and even though she saw that now, it didn’t make their break up any more gentle. Things ended on really bad terms and under the guise that it was mutual. However, if it had been up to Ari, they wouldn’t have broken up. But who was she to force someone to stay with her that didn’t want to, it made it easier for him to leave probably if he thought she also wanted to break up. There had been a pretty ugly fight, and she said a whole slew of things out of heartbreak that she didn’t mean. It was the only instance in her life that she wished she had time travel powers instead of psychic abilities, because she would take it all back if she could. Every bit.

Her thoughts had been with Jono with the fight started, not that it would have mattered if she had been focused or not. Dark Side was incredibly fast. Ari took pride in being quick on her feet, but she was no where near pro status, if nothing else this fight would be humbling. Her teacher cleared the space between them in the bat of an eye and connected a punch to her stomach. Arietty had never really been in a fight before, she was totally unprepared for the pain that worked through her abs and torso as she doubled over. She did her best to not react, but her mind was screaming in agony.

Dark Side was moving again, placing her leg between Ari’s, ready to throw her, when her hand latched around her wrist. Arietty knew what was about to happen, but had no real way of controlling it. She felt the minds link as the flesh made contact. Searing pain surged from her mind to her teachers, passing from Arietty to her opponent.

Ari was not prepared for what came next.

Sadness. Despair. Hopelessness. They came rushing into Ari’s head like a flood, it appeared that she was not just transmitting her feelings to Miss Dark Side, but also receiving. Ari’s eyes glazed over with the intensity of the feeling, and then the rush of tears came. She cried silently, but hard, the feelings still rushing through her like a wave.

“Sensei,” Ari spoke softly, trying not to sob “What happened? Why are you so sad, are you okay?”

Dark Side

She wasn't sure what she had expected for her junior to be able to do. Her assumptions had been correct. The girl was not a fighter, she had no combat training -well none that was usable anyways. She was expecting to lose, though she wouldn't give up. That was what a hero was. Even in the face of evident hopelessness, never giving up. It was part of what made Izanami take on the hero path in SPITE of her family's shady history. It was something she was happy to know about the girl despite the fact she was going to be brutally thrown to the ground.

It was when she touched her wrist that it all changed. The pain from the jab had surged through Izanami's head. Despite the punch being one Izanami would be able to take with little to no pain, she felt the full measure of what the girl felt. It was almost unbearable, and her body almost forgot all of its training to double over to account for the pain. That was not who Izanami was. She endured the pain and in that instant was able to figure out the quirk of the girl. She could at the very least transfer pain. Her body still clearly held the damage, but touching skin to skin seemed to transfer the pain. That was fine - enduring extreme conditions and pain had been something her body had been accustomed since she was four.

If only if it was just one way. Izanami would have been able to throw her on the ground and be done with this training match.

“Sensei,” Ari spoke softly, trying not to sob “What happened? Why are you so sad, are you okay?”'

Those words froze her in the middle of her toss. Stoic. Unshakeable. Strong willed. Those were words that people would use to describe Izanami. Even if that meant her popularity took a hit, she was always the one to call with the stakes were high. Where All Might was known for his smile even in the face of danger, she was known for her calm disposition. Yet- the teen's words had caught her with an unusually blank expression. Not one of her usual ones. No. It was one of despair.

Silence had befallen the area where Izanami and Arietty had stood. It was almost if nothing else existed at that moment besides the breeze that was sweeping through. It was if time had stood still for her. It felt like an eternity. She was frozen by Ari's words, a position she had never been in her life. A singe of sharp pain shot through her head, causing her to finally break the hold she had on the girl's wrist and did a few back handsprings in quick secession putting twice the distance as they began with between them, in almost the same time.

When she completed that final handspring, she landed on one knee and knelt that expression of despair still on her face. A deep breath came, as she let out a slow exhale brushing herself off before getting to her feet. She took out the notepad and a pen, scratching Arietty's name off before her usual stoic expression returned. "Well done Arietty-san. Akane san please make haste."

Arietty

She knew she had made a mistake almost immediately. That expression that came over Dark Sides face… Ari had put it there. Her stupid fucking quirk. It was a curse, it hurt, it pushed people away. Despite being a form of communication it had done nothing but make her incredibly lonely. She couldn’t control it again. Why couldn’t she just be telekinetic, or be a good fighter like Kath? Why did she have to be so utterly pathetic?

Her teacher sprung away from her, clearing a distance even further than before. She scratched her name off the list, was the fight over?

"Well done Arietty-san. Akane san please make haste." Her teacher said with a stoic look.

“Well done?” that phrase repeated in her head over and over. “Well done.” She wasn’t in trouble; Dark Side wasn’t mad at her? She looked up at the teacher dazed and then began to make her way off the field, wiping the tears from her eyes.

What was Dark Side going through? That had been overwhelming, and she managed to keep that stoic attitude and fight with all of that going on? Ari realized that she had even more respect for her teacher than before. It took a lot of inner strength to keep fighting when your mind was elsewhere. Dark Side made it look incredibly easy.

Ari took her place next to Kath, looking at her feet. Only Jono would have any idea what had happened here, and she was nervous about the prospect of having to explain it to anyone else.

Jono stood silently as the match begun. Once Arietty took a punch to the stomach, Jono felt his palms begin to sweat. His hands curled up into fists. The inside of his cheek, which was once held hostage by his teeth, had been let go. Instead, Jono gritted his teeth as Dark Side took a hold of Arietty’s wrist. As soon as the professor had wrapped her digits around the girl’s wrist, Jono’s mouth partially opened.

Arietty began to cry. Jono’s eyes widened, his nose crinkling in anger.

His eyes switched focus to Dark Side, who had looked like she had just seen a ghost. She let go of Arietty’s wrist. Jono was not confused in the slightest. The exchange that took place between the two was one that no other student could understand without knowing Arietty’s quirk, or being under its control. Jono had understood it all too well. When Dark Side created space between the two, she even had a hard time sticking the landing. Arietty was able to use her quirk to her advantage by accident.

It was quite interesting that a simple lack of knowledge would force the professor to pay so dearly. Jono was curious what Bang would have done in that same situation. Would he have reacted the same? Chances were no.

The words that escaped Arietty’s lips; they implied that Dark Side had demons that Arietty came to learn upon their contact. Jono knew Arietty had her own demons. He wondered if Dark Side had just gotten a taste of Arietty’s as well.

When Dark Side had told Arietty that she had seen enough, Jono knew that Arietty had been successful. However, it had not gone down in the way that Jono would have liked it to. Jono knew that Arietty wasn’t a fighter, and she didn’t have to be. She was intelligent enough to win by her own standards, and that’s what Jono wanted. The young man certainly was not a fighter who was worth anything more than a slumdog on the street, but he didn’t understand the concept of fear. Death? Even if Jono died at his best, in the peak of his career, someone better would come to take his place. That was enough for him to be at rest.

That being said, even if it was by accident, Jono was under the influence that Arietty had performed much better in her session than he did on his. A small smile crept across his face as he looked over at her. Obviously, Arietty’s back was turned to him, so he didn’t gaze for too long. He was proud.

Jono would have to find a way to get better. He could hope all he wanted that his quirk would get better or transform, but there was no time to wait for that. There was no doubt that Jono had intelligence levels far beyond most in his age group, and that was a combination of his genetics with his quirk. He understood things upon reading them once; a trait his father passed down that was engraved in his DNA. Other stuff like finding the information, well Jono’s quirk was responsible for that.

Arguably, with Jono’s capabilities of being able to use technology to his advantage, he had the possibility of being even smarter than his father at the age of 16. Inventions could only get Jono so far; he could create items that replaced the need for quirks but without being able to properly defend himself without them - with only his hands - was a large handicap that Jono was finding increasingly difficult to live with.

Akane

Akane took a quick moment to assess Dark Side, his only visible eye [the other being covered by his fringe] narrowing as he took note of her sorrowful expression before shaking his head and pulling out a hair tie to put his hair up into a ponytail and out of his face. "I'll talk to you after." He briefly says to Yami before he moved forward, stopping across from the dark-haired female before bowing. He looked at her for another moment before settling into a fighting stance that made it easier for him to dodge if needed. The chocolate brown of the male's eyes shifts and flickers before changing to intense purple. Narrowing his eyes, Akane watches the instructor's every move.

He had no idea what this woman's capabilities are and he wasn't someone who liked running blindly into anything so he came to the decision to simply wait for an opening and hope that if he gets hit he'll be able to absorb it. Right now all he wanted was to get one hit in, he had to or else he had a feeling his pride would take a hit.

Dark Side

Even though she had been shaken up by her encounter with Arietty's quirk, it didn't take her long to shake it off. She'd have to speak to Arietty privately later, but for now, she kept her eyes focused on the next student. Much like every person she interacted with and the student before, she looked over Akane. Everything right down from his physique to his stance, she made note of.

The first thing that stood out to her was that his eyes flickered and shifted colors. If the child was anything like her, this meant he was at the very least preparing his quirk. Next was his stance, that seemed to be more defensive in nature considering the distance between them. The lack of initiative, the shift of the eye color, the stance meant he was confident in his defensive ability. Unless he was not paying a bit of attention to the match before, he would know that Izanami could close the distance between the two in a blink of an eye and get through that stance.

She wasn't sure what his quirk was but one thing was obvious. It had a defensive quality. Her hands reached to her tucked in shirt, pulling it out of her pants and sliding her hands under and around her back.

"Good," she spoke gently to herself, moving with that same quickness she had shown with Ari. In an instant she was there in front of Akane, before throwing a punch at his abdomen in the same fashion she did with Ari, but stopping halfway before it landed. If she fully threw it he wouldn't have been able to dodge it, so she wanted to see how he would react towards an imminent punch. If he went to block it like a normal person, she wouldn't even move her fist from its half-cocked position and thrust her elbow into his chest with the intention to cave his chest in. It was a wing Chun maneuver she borrowed that used very little strength, and thus didn't hit that hard, but the location of the landed hit would make a normal person have the wind knocked out of them.

If he didn't go to block it, she would have done a quick spin to her left and there would be a kunai at his neck.

Akane

Akane eyes widen a bit, before narrowing again as instead of dodging or attempting to block he lashed out and attempted to grab the arm that the instructor used to throw the fake out punch. He intended to pull her while pivoting on his right leg so he could hit her in the back of her neck with a punch and disorient her only to be stopped when the woman spun around with a kunai in her hand. Reacting quickly, he raised his arm up in an attempt to stop her arm mid-swing while kicking at the side of Dark Side's knee.

Punches, he could deal with, knives, on the other hand, he could not especially when it was getting really close to his hair. He knew he probably should put himself in a position where he would get hit but he didn't know if she would attack with a fist or his kunai now so he now he had to focus on disarming her.

Yami Kawaguchi
弓美 川口

When she felt two hands on her shoulders, Yami was almost certain she had majorly screwed up. Her mind immediately started running, trying to think up any other way she could apologize. May she should get on her hands and knees, kiss his shoes and beg for forgiveness?

Yami's head slowly rose so her eyes could meet his, and she could practically feel herself melt into a puddle when he smiled at her. Thank the heavens! He probably wasn't going to pound her into the ground. "It's fine, it's fine." He had said. With how contagious his grin seemed to be and how he wasn't going to decimate her, she would've smiled back if not for the cotton mask covering her mouth. "It was an accident, so don't worry about it. I'm Akane, by the way, you are?"

The weight was lifted from her shoulders, and now, the boy's hand was out. Her eyebrows furrowed. Was he a foreigner? Perhaps that was why he was so touchy, or maybe he actually was mad and his quirk required him to shake the hand of the person he wanted to hurt! Regardless, she took his hand and although weakly, shook it. "Yami Kawaguchi," she replied, her words muffled. She wasn't really looking at him, not even in his general direction, when she said this, though. Instead, her attention was directed towards the woman who stepped in for Master Mustang, Dark Side- no, Nighttime. Frankly, Primetime intimidated Yami just as much as their homeroom teacher had. She guessed it was because of the way she carried herself, because of how enigmatic and collected she seemed to be. It might've also been because her socks vanished in smoke. Either way, Yami was intimidated.

A girl their teacher referred to as Arietty was called up to face against Dark Knight like what Master Bong had done prior. Yami realized that she wasn't safe from her teachers' torment, not like she hoped, but that wasn't why her hands gripped at the sides of her uniform. Instead, she was praying that the blue-haired girl would make it out without much of a scratch. She hadn't even spoken to the girl yet, but for unknown reasons, Yami was worried for her more than she had been for her other classmates.

Following a jab to the stomach, which caused Yami to cringe, Arietty was trapped, and tears began to fall down her face. Yami didn't blame her. If she was in her shoes, she would've started wailing immediately after the punch, or possibly even as soon as the fight started. When she heard what her classmate had to say, though, she realized Arietty wasn't a coward like her. Arietty's quirk had to have made her feel something- or see something, she didn't know- about another person, probably their emotions. Evident by her expression and by the way she ended the brawl there, Dark Side was affected by what Arietty said and thus, had a lot of masked emotions. If it weren't for the fact Yami was going to be pummeled by her in the near future, she would've decided it was her mission to help their teacher overcome whatever it was that had her down.

Instead, Yami watched as her acquaintance, Akane- err, Bane?- was called upon by Dark Side. Before he moved forward, he had told her, "I'll talk to you after." She nodded, although slightly concerned by what that entailed. Would she have to come up with some good icebreakers?

Her classmate got into what Yami assumed was a fighting stance. Surely, with how he put up his hair and all, her classmate was serious. Their teacher seemed to have seen something in Bane, perhaps because of his stance- she didn't know-, because she untucked her shirt. Yami believed it was to prepare for something more rigorous, maybe because Bane was more suited for fighting, but she had thought that the way she readied herself for her fight with Arietty was already enough. Ah, that reminded her- Arietty. Yami shuffled over to where the blue-haired girl stood, near that Wrath girl. Maybe this would give her the time to thank her classmate for sending Master Tank away with a kick to his groin.

When she was close enough to Arietty, she asked, "Are you okay?" It was a rhetorical question, of course. Yami was almost certain she was still shaken by what happened just minutes ago, but Yami was also certain that it was polite to ask anyway. Still, her attention was on the fight. Dark Side, the speed demon she was, impressed her; she was in front of her opponent before Yami could finish her sentence, and the punch she began to throw practically forced Yami to look away and towards Arietty. She really didn't want to see it connect.

Dark Side

When Akane moved to block her arm with the kunai while almost simultaneously kicking at her knee, she couldn't help but be impressed. Perhaps he had some martial arts training, because in a normal circumstance that would have been the appropriate action to take. From that standpoint, she had been impressed, but he hadn't chosen the option she was looking for. At least the boy had shown some sort of fighting prowess and ability to move without his quirk (though she still wasn't sure what that was), and by that measure, he had passed her test.

So in the blink of an eye, she flipped the kunai up and over his head without stopping the momentum of her moving arm, as she used it to grab the arm he had moved up to block her strike,"When your opponent is faster...." she started as she began to start her grab and lock, her leg naturally moving out of the way of his kick as she planted it and jumped up in the air, wrapping both arms around his arm and shoulders, forcing him down to the ground with her. She held onto his hand and flattened it out before putting pressure on it in an armbar, before quickly letting go and rolling out of it as the kunai dropped and struck the ground right next to his face.

Getting up she dusted herself off and walked away, pulling out the notepad and pen scratching his name off,"Well done Akane-san, in a few years you'll be able to go blow for blow with me." She looked over the name of who was next and glanced back at the group of students,"Yuuta-san?" she inquired a bit annoyed by Master Bang's informality on this notepad, having all the students marked by their first name.

Johanna
She sat quietly next to Jono as she watched the next few fights. She figured even though she had already gone, maybe she could pick up a few keys on combat. Fighting Master Bang had gone a lot different than hunting. At one point she was the prey - and though she dodged his first few blows she hated being on defense. Things didn't turn around until she was trying to pounce on her prey. She had to cover her nose when the dragon boy had fought, the smell of soot, ash, and burning flesh and hair was extremely offensive to her sensitive nose. Not to mention, the boy himself didn't have the most pleasant smell. He wreaked, like bad body odor and something else foul. Perhaps it was being outside in this air, maybe it was just his smelly scaly self. Who knows.

Her focus remained steady through Haruna's fight, it wasn't until Kath's fight where things got weird. Johanna couldn't help but let out an 'aww' under her breath as she watched the little one run up to take her crack at Master Bang. She hoped the old man wouldn't do too much damage to the little girl. She was far too adorable to be getting beaten on by an old man.

Quickly, her face of adoration turned into one of horror as she watched the old man beat on the girl, and in return take a blow to the groin. Not to mention a fierce bite like she had attempted, but only Kath successful. She figured a punishment was coming for the low blow, and it didn't take long for Master Bang to confirm it. Either way, she had one mission. To hug and console the little girl, even if it meant missing the other fights.

So pushing herself up from the ground and away from Jono, she moved through the crowd towards the little girl she towered over and wrapped her arms around her tightly. She rubbed her cheek against her's repeatedly, with a huge smile on her face and even started to mimic a baby's coo. The girl was irresistibly adorable even if she was extremely violent.

"What was your name? Katherine? You're are just the cutest thing, ever! " she stated not stopping their facial contact. She couldn't help it. She was like a litter of new pups.
