[Megalopolis V.2.0] The Spot

Alright, I apologize for the delay, I've been busy with some site work and preparing some things, I would have posted it today but I am still getting over my stomach flu, I had no appetite today and I finally had my mom make me something at 11:45 pm.

So here is the plan, tomorrow I will be posting the speech and major event for both threads. I believe once that happens, the game will officially start moving and gaining pace. Every day I will be posting as npcs and talking with people since that does not take much effort and I will try to keep the plot going every 3 days(This speech scene took longer to setup then expected due to all the previous delays and issues I've been having).

Thank you for being patient with me :) !

Good to hear, Wiz. I was wondering if I'd need to seduce Alicia with venison soup to progress the story. Or gain a black eye...

I think if Alicia punched something harder than a pillow atm, her hand would shatter, so your eye is safe. The venison soup stands a chance. ;)

Cool deal.
I finished the posts but they will be going up tomorrow under the new Megalopolis system.

We will be following a much more easier system instead of trying to separate people, information forth coming. For those of you in the loop, it's what I'm going to do to the shards of immortality system.

Only kidding, Wizard is still feeling a little bit sick. So he should be posting stuff soon for the other thread.

Just to give everyone a heads up, this Wednesday I'm leaving town for GenCon. I'm taking my computer along, but I don't know how good my internet connections will be while at the convention. Hopefully, I'll be able to log in and post, but if not, I'm back the next Monday.

Clarification: I dropped a shell, not myself. Hopefully one of you picking that guy up will set up further interaction...

i.e., "Wow this thing is huge and where did it come from, I should investigate these weird things and maybe get a dog named Scooby-Doo"

Actually, Calgori, I'd like you to explain, simply and shortly, where you got a .50 Cal rifle and a Helicopter. If I'm reading your sheet correctly, you officially could not purchase either legally and your "Crew" wouldn't trust you. Now, I'm not about ready to trawl through the whole thing or your posts, seeing as they seem unreasonably large to me, but I am requesting you explain it. Not everyone wants to read that much just to pick up a few details, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who would appreciate a Spoilered "tl;dr" version of each post within a spoiler or something to that effect in the future.

I don't actually have a helicopter, I have a weed whacker and a plastic properller attached to my back. All references to a helicopter are, and this makes me sad that I have to spoil it, delusional hallucinations on the part of the pilot. :D

The rifle's left over from the days of the force, and the weed whackers are pretty easy to acquire. 's that it?

Alright, that is much better. In the future if you're going to do delusions like that please state it as being such, if it isn't real and can only be seen by one person in that way than there really is no need to make us believe it is real.

Just like to say that I'm loving the Doc's delusional interludes, both here and in 2020, and I've been reading his posts in the manner he'd intended. Perhaps using a bit of text editing to improve clarity, i.e. The helicopter's crew now scrambled for flight; or: and nobody else aboard the aircraft was permitted to fire weapons. The specialist trusted his pilot and his commander. So that ruled out three.

Having delusional references referred to in different text styles or colors, a la Eli's plotting voice, might aid others' understanding.
