Fandom Marks Of Warriors (A S.A.O. Parody RP)

Juho pulled the staff of his back. "Yeah. It's just a basic staff though..." He said. Ugh... Ei hyvä. En tiiä jos ens lyöminen toimis... (Not good. I don't know if punching even works...) He thought to himself, still holding the smile on his face.

Kio un sheathes her sword from her back "Well I am a sword wielder so.... if we join a party we can gain xp for the kills we get together... I'm pretty sure that's how it works..."

"I guess I can heal you when you take damage... but I don't think I'm able to do any damage to the monsters..." Juho said, chuckling a bit at his disadvantage in one-on-one combat.

"Anyone can attack...." she said with a giggle "I guess it just takes time"

Juho, took a short leap and walked next to Kio, adjusting to her walking speed. He looked around the town as they walked and at the town gate as they arrived at it.

Allan sat down on a large bolder that was located inside the plains. He had spent a few minuets farming monsters for exp. He scrolled through the menus and stopped at magic, then he clicked on it. He picked a dark path that gave him buffs when he enters combat in the shade or at night. For example he would have better reflexes, and his speed would increase, these changes are minor now, but once he starts to gain levels the buffs will increase.

After checking the menus Allan hopped off the boulder, and drew his sword to the nears boar.

Thrym, who had decidedly brandished his earthen armor, took off towards the surrounding fields, learning the functions and moves he could, and could not, do. After an hour of so of monster slaying, Thyrm scanned his map, noticing two nearby players. Looking up, he watched as the players Dragun and Night Mage slowly walked across the fields not too far away from him.

Reluctant to call out, as he was never sure of the volume of his voice, Thrym decided instead to stride up to the duo, introducing himself as he approached in earshot.

"Uhm.. excuse me! Hi, uh, I'm new here...obviously. Do either of you know a healer, by chance..?" He smiled shyly, hoping he spoke loud enough.

Kio cringed "You can be quieter..." she said and then looked at Night "He is one..." she said pointing at Night

Thrym bowed slightly.

"I apologize, it's hard for me to tell.." thrym turned to Night, "Are you looking for a tank, by chance?"

"Umm... I haven't really looked into it yet... Ask the party leader..." Juho said, pointing at Kio.

Thrym looked back towards the girl, a mix of confusion and annoyance in his eyes.

"Uhm... are you.. looking for a tank?" He half heartedly laughs

"Well I guess it would be useful....." she said with a grin

Smiling, Thrym simply nodded as he looked down.

A small screen appeared before the girl, asking if she wanted to join parties with Thrym.

Thrym looks down and presses accept.

Sheathing his blade, he bows formally, gesturing the direction they were headed.

"Then by all means, party leader, please lead they way!" A wide grin sweeps his face.

Deciding on what magic to use after the strange encounter with guy before, Angelique peered at the stalls of magic. "Hmm....I guess....fire? Nah, um, ice. Yep, ice it is!" Choosing ice, she readied for the talent trees that grew for ice magic.

Icy Breath.....Nah.

Ice Dragon........Maybe

Frozen Darkness.....Oh, that sounds awesome.

Without a second thought, she chose Frozen Darkness. Reading the description quickly, she found that this magic spell gave her the ability to either hide a large group of people for a certain period of time, or to heal. The surge of magic as she learned the spell was incredible. Her body turned numb, as if she had been standing in the cold for a bit too long, then she felt warm, as if she was in a warm bath. This was going to be fun.

Oh no! Today was the launch of MoW! Trajan slapped some money on the counter and ran outside. He jumped on his old bike and took off. When he got to his appartment building he hurriedly locked his bike to the rack. He hurried upstairs to his room, and jumped into his bed. He inserted the game and slid on his NerveGear "Link Start!"

Trajan booted into the game, and started making a character. He stopped and started over the character, it wouldn't be fair to everyone else if I was already good with a weapon. He select a sword, he wanted to try a fast character this time. He selected his name as:
Jade Crusader. As he spawned in he checked his inventory. Some gold, clothes, and a basic weapon. Hey, at least they balanced the starting gold! He started trodding towards his favorite farming spot, one of the ones that very few people had discovered. He happened uppon a group farming together. "You know, there's a much better farming spot NE of here, it's a cavern where the plains and mountains meet. That's where I'm going if you want to come with me." He invites Juho, Kio, and Thrym to his group.

Josh entered the house. There was quite a bit of storm out there, and as he got soaked on his way home, he headed to the bathroom to have a warming shower. After getting into something more comfortable he went to the kitchen. It was only him in the whole house. He was a high school student, living with his mom who often disappeared for day because of her job. Seeing that there's nothing in the fridge that he would like to eat, he just ended up making a cup of tea and taking it up into his room. On normal days, he would just sit down and read books for one or two hours. He even prepared a few great books which he would choose from. The Art of War, The Book of Five Rings and the Art of Reign. But today he wasn't really in the mood of reading. He took a sip from his tea and looked out the window and watched as the storm was raging out there.

After a few minutes of standing there at the window, Josh put down his cup on the table, went to his bed where his NerveGear rested. Putting it on his head, he laid back on his bed, and waited a minute.

"Link, start!"

Getting into the game, Josh took a deep breath and looked at the sky. This one - opposing the real one - was clear and silent. Looking around he saw that many new players were talking with others, forming parties and heading out together. This kind of stuff was not really what he could imagine himself doing, so instead he just headed out alone while opening up the console and checking out his stats and equipment. Opening up the Magic tab he could choose from a bunch of elements of magic. Josh ended up choosing Lightning and took his staff into his hands. He could choose from three different spells.

Lightning Ball

Lightning Shield

Lightning Enchantment

Josh had a friend who was also a beta tester and he remembered him mentioning that Lightning Ball was a bit slow when fighting higher level opponents. He also knew that the casters need to recast Lightning Shield after a few charges. He tapped on Lightning Enchantment and read the description. It was like as he hoped for. He could cast it on himself or on allies and for the duration, they would deal bonus damage.

By the time he decided on which spell he should go with, Josh has already arrived to the outer fields where new players acquired the first few levels. Looking around, he noticed a group of people. One of them held a staff. Josh had one more glance at his new spell and then headed towards the small group with a big sigh.

"Now that I think about it, a swordsman would have been better for soloing..." he mumbled quietly.

"Um... Hey guys! Are you, by any chance forming a party? Don't you need a fourth player?" Asked with a smile, and yet he felt so awkward while doing so. But this was the best decision for now. With his first spell, it is more efficient if he can cast it on other players as well.

"Do I have to tell everyone....." she said as she declined his invite since she was the leader of the party.
