Fandom Marks Of Warriors (A S.A.O. Parody RP)

The Unamed Character

Queen of the Damned
This Rp is sorta like S.A.O.

The difference is.... You are allowed to use Magic. We are all in the VR world and we are trapped. It is almost the same story as S.A.O.

Years after the S.A.O. incedent..... The V.R. was upgraded by "Michono Technology" to be able to have full immersion in senses and all. One problem is, The first game that was released had been inspired by none other than S.A.O. and the incedent. Many people fall victim for the trap laid by Michono and his plan for "A better world." No respawn's, No Revives, If you die..... It's Game over.... In the game... and In real life.....

But our story begins just before this incedent happens, before the launch of the long awaited game, "Marks Of Warriors."

Beta testers tried it before, although their Items have been reset, they know the layout, but no one in the beta has been above floor 5. The game has 100 floors, and each floor is harder than the last, In order to advance in floors, you must find the maze of the floor and find the boss room.

Please check the Overview for rules.

Kio was in her room. Minutes before the game launched. She had awaited this day and was awarded by being one of the first to actually get there hands on the game. She hooked up her NerveGear and put the game in. She watched the clock as she waited for the game to fully launch.

((When we get in we start with the noob armor. We get our armor after the mishap happens))

@Shinohara @Nightmares Angel @Rajiit @Eagershadow3

Suzuma brushed her short brown hair into a small ponytail, her camera strap getting stuck in the back of her head of hair. "Ow...ow!" Putting down her bag of games and the NerveGear, she tried to free her hair.

"Suzu!" Her adoptive mother called from upstairs, her cheery voice floating down.

"Yes?" Suzuma pulled the last strands of hair out of the strap of her camera bag.

"Please feed the dogs after your hour of game time!" Inwardly laughing, Suzuma grabbed the bag and dashed quickly upstairs to her room. Opening the door, she found her things scattered across the floor. Splendid.

Juho walked up the stairs to the apartment his father had bought. His mother had died in a car accident a few days back and Juho had shut himself in his room that day, not coming out to even eat. He opened the door to the apartment and walked in, quietly heading to his room. His father was still at work and wouldn't come before late in the evening. He started his computer and put the NerveGear on his head as he laid down on his bed. He was exited at the new game he had bought on the day of release and was lucky as he was one of the last to get a copy of it. He waited for the launch of the game and the servers. He had a vision of what to do when the game started.

Setting up the game and the getting ready for the servers was harder than she remembered.

"Um, this is new." Finding the next part to set up the NerveGear was harder than she had read in the instruction book.

Finally however, she finally got it ready. Laying down on her bed, she put the gear on.

Ovo sat on his bed, still staring at the note he held in his hands. Shaking, he contemplated in silence as to the origins of the letter.

After what seemed an eternity, he slowly set the note aside, casting his gaze to the sparkling new AmuSphere that rested in the box before him. Does it really matter where it came from? He thought to himself as he picked it up, slowly placing it over his head. Nothing else mattered other than escaping, he reminded himself as he slowly scanned his hovel of a room through the reddish tint of the AmuSphere. In the corners of the room were piles of trash, thrown in form his mother when she was too lazy to go outside, or just too high. At this point it became hard for him to discern. He looked to his left at the crack in the wall. That one was from when his dad was still alive, when he came in drunk from his gambling winnings one night. He kicked the door to Ovo's room in, waking the 5 year old version of himself up. As Ovo sat on the bed, staring through the tint, he watched as his eyes recreated the scene before him, of his father, smashing the bottle against the bed post, screamed violently and incoherently at him. When his father picked him up by his throat, he shoved his young head against the wall repeatedly, screaming all the while about how he was his father's greatest disappointment in life, and that he was a mistake. At least I could use a daughter to satisfy my needs, was the phrase that particularly stuck to his memories. After he had been bashed enough to leave a hole in the wall, his mother finally came running in, screaming and restraining his father's arm from further harm.

"Think of what the damage to the wall is going to cost us!" Ovo heard his mother bellow before blacking out.

Next thing he knew, he awoke to being suffocated by a large, black coated arm. An unknown man holding him screamed in a foreign language as he watched his father, still drunk from the night, draw a gun out from his holster. Before Ovo knew what was happening, a surge of pain rushed through his ears as a round from the Desert Eagle the man holding him resounded through the room, exploding just past his own ear. The whole world seemed to turn on it's head, as he struggled to comprehend the situation around him through droves of tears and a splitting headache to the effect he had not felt before. Is that... blood? He wondered, feeling a trickle of a warm substance down his right ear. A muffled explosion and bright light shone in front of him as he watched his father aim directly at him, hoping that the man would choose between dropping the child or being hit.

To his father's dismay, neither happened as he was too drunk to aim accurately, hitting the lamp to Ovo's left, instead. In the moment following, he watched through a muffled reality as his father's body was paraded with shots from the man still holding him. He counted every explosion of blood from his father's back as it happened. 1..2..3..4..5.. he counted as the large man holding him unloaded the rest of his clip into the drunk. As Ovo sat there, emotionless, staring at the riddled corpse of his father and the pool of blood his mother sat in crying over the corpse, he was flung to the side, landing on the rancid couch. Looking up, he watched as the large, dark skinned man speak something to him. W...what? I can't hear you! Ovo wanted to cry out, but as swiftly as he had arrived, the man exited out of the door, into the nightlife of the city.

Returning his vision to the red-tinted room before him, Ovo fell backwards into his bed, sinking into the worn out springs of his only possession in the world.

I must escape. He reminded himself again.

And with that final thought, he pressed the on button to the AmuSphere, and spoke what he hoped would be his final words in the real world..

"Link, start!"

@Rajiit[/URL] ))

Kio sighed a breath of Happines. It was time for the Server to be up.

"Link, Start" she said as she fell limp. She had started her link.

She teleported into the game as she looked around. "This is awesome"

Juho smiled as it was time. "Link Start" He said, his mind was thrown into the virtual world where nothing was impossible. He looked around the world, really exited inside but calm on the outside. "Nice..." He whispered to himself as he looked at the people spawning in.

"Link...start." With a deep breath of air, she was sudeenly pulled into the game. Where she was now, she could make her own character's name and her physical appearance change.

"Oh, this looks awesome!" She gave herself some silver hair, about the same length as her real hair and purple eyes, soft violet. And she gave herself an extra seven inches to her five foot, five.

Ovo opened his eyes again, this time in an entirely different setting and world. He looked down, gripping his hands tightly, then releasing.

Suddenly he clapped in front of him violently enough to draw the attention of people around him. To his disappointment, he still couldn't hear the resounding sound.

What a drag.. they still haven't developed the technology enough..

Ovo had heard rumors of ultra-lucrative hospitals with VR machines that could give people their senses back, but that was far too rich for his street urchin blood.

With a shrug, he felt around for his blade on his back. Finding the sleek handle, he smirked slightly as a surge of confidence roared through his body.

I'm back.

Kio gave herself the name Dragun Oik. She spawned in and looked around the town of beginnings. "This is..... Oh my god...." she said as she ran to the shop after noticing she had some gold in her inventory. She didnt have enough for anything though.... "Ugh...." she groaned.

She slumped back to the middle of town "Might as well see if I know anyone here..."

Juho made his character and as he spawned, looked down at his body. He saw the basic beginner clothes. He had some gold in his inventory but didn't want to waste anything just yet. He walked around the beginning town, looking round at the buildings and other people.

Ovo, designating the player name "Thrym", adorned his avatar once again, and began to stride towards the nearest city gate, quickly scanning his inventory, figuring out what had changed and stayed the same from other games.

Paying no mind to anyone around him, entrapped in his own little world of silence, he absentmindedly bumped into a girl. Looking up, he read her avatar.

"...Suzie...Bloodvein..?" He sounded out slowly, as his reading skills were sub par. Being deaf and skipping school had that effect, apparently.

Quickly bowing and continuing on, he strode forward once more, a rash of embarrassment spreading across his face for making such a noob mistake.

Dragun walks toward the center. "Not as fun as I thought..... But it is the first day.... anything can happen..." she said with a smile.

She rerached the center and leaned against the pillar. She wanted to see if she knew anyone.

Continuing on, flustered, Ovo strode through the center of the plaza, stopping to look down at his equipment once more.

Armor.. negligent,

Stats... the same,

Weapon.. basic,

and... Magic!

He paused for a moment, looking at the sheet which displayed the different paths of magic one could take. Reading each description carefully, he selected the 'Earth Magic' option. A secondary screen popped up, portraying three options of spells to choose from.

Earthen Armor

Boulder

Grasping Earth

Carefully he read their descriptions, analyzing their pros and cons. With a slight sigh a minute later, he figured he would just go for what he knew, as he abruptly pressed the "Earthen Armor" option.

A surge of reddish-brown energy coursed through his character as he could feel the knowledge of the spell filling him. He looked down at his hand, focusing intently on the feeling he had just experienced. After a moment, his hand began to glow. As he swept his arm in an arc above his head, striking the earth belowfoot, a thin shell of rock erupted form the ground, covering his torso and forearms with the rubble. However he felt no heavier, despite the cobblestone adorning him.

Magic, huh? He smiled slightly to himself as he inspected his new equipment.

With a click Allan locked the door to his room. Without a word he dropped his school backpack to the ground, and walked over to his bed. He picked up the nervegear that was resting on his nightstand; no one was home so had all the time to play. He then placed the nervegear onto his head, and layed down onto his bed. "Link start," he said loudly as he slowly closed his eyes .

After creating hid caracter, and selecting his starting weapon Allan was finally into the virtual world. Allan looked around at the starting city in amazement, 'this place is so big' he through, spinning around so he could get a full view of the whole place. He then pulled out his weapon, a curved bronze shortsword. He spun it around in his hand for a few seconds, "the weight, the feel, everything is on point," he mummbled to himself. Allan is a big history nerd, especially the subject on the ancient world, so he knew a thing or two about weapons and armour.

Juho sighed after walking a bit. Headed back towards the spawn, going through different menus to see what they did. He wasn't really used to the menu system but was able to shuffle through it.

Kio looks around. "Hey... Wanna hang... I cant find my friends" she asked a guy that seemed to have just spawned in

Juho looked at Kio and smiled. Hmm? Someone's interested in me? He thought to himself while opening his mouth. "Why not, at least I have no reason to refuse..." He said.

(Mind if I would use finnish for the thought's and ocational speech?)

Juho grabbed Kio's hand and shook it gently. "Night Mage, but just call me Night." Juho said. He still couldn't believe the game was that accurate that you could do handshakes and stuff.

"Guess it would do good to get used to combat, though I'm specialised in healing..." Juho said scratching the back of his head, not really sure if he would be any help in training.

"Well..... I had heard that you need to level up in order to use more magic...." she said with a smile "You have a weapon don't you?" she asked
