Adam laughed, "Let's go!" he said, stepping out of the car and making his way to the shack with Luxe next to him, they reached the stand and Adam bought a large popcorn bucket full of candy. And another one full of popcorn, handing Luxe the candy bucket.

Letty stared at Ryan, her expression blank. She never had to deal wth bullies in her life, yet her emotional cover ups were for a different reason of hiding. Letty just simply sighed, placing her head in her hands.


"I'm okay, really." Letty replied lightly, adding a bit of wariness to her tone. Her biggest weakness was much deeper than a simple trauma. She had experienced far worse in life than people could imagine. Yet she didn't have dead parents or scars from bullies, or even abuse, but she had something that would never leave her. It burden she would only bare on her own. Just smile, it'll all be over soon.

Letty bit back a comment. Give him a call? She didn't even have this guys number, or even know this guys name. Was this pity he had towards her? No, she wasn't going to have people feel bad for her! She was going to get through this, whether she liked it or not. She prayed that Jackson was doing okay, since he and Haru looked as if they were great friends. Just smile, and the rest of the world will smile with you.


And with that, Letty walked over to her bike and ride home under the starry sky. Tomorrow would be the dawn of a new day, and she knew that she would be the strength to hold her friends hands when needed through these dark times. Even if she felt the cracks within herself begin to break, she knew only one solace to patch the broken pieces...


Though her soul may set in darkness, it will rise in perfect light; She had loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.

She was tired...No! Wait, scratch that. She was absolutely exhausted after spending the day unpacking all of her and her grandmothers belongings.


It has been a week since the day Sakura and her grandmother moved into the quaint little town, at the same time it has been a week since the girls grandmother, Lyric, had been admitted into the local hospital. Lucille had taken a bad fall off the attic ladder on the duo's arrival day, leaving her with a total of 2 broken bones and a fractured hip.


Plopping face down on her bed Sakura released a sigh of relief into the fluffy comforter resting upon her bed. She rolled over onto her back and stared up at her bedroom ceiling.


"At least when la mémé gets home she won't have to worry about unpacking anything."


The pink haired teen whispered into the empty space above her as though she'd get a response. She closed her eyes for a moment reminding herself that this upcoming weekend she'll be painting the rooms of the house so her grandmother will feel at peace when she arrives in their new home. Brown eyes popped open once more as she sat up and strolled over to her closet stripping out of her pair of colorful overalls covered in lace and frills only to exchange it with a mid-length sleeved off the shoulder and striped blouse, which was paired with a long white 50s styled skirt with black flowers printed around the bottom of the skirt. She pulled out a pair of stripped socks with white floral lace lining the edge, then to finish off her look she rolled the socks down to her ankles, pulled on a pair of white heels and pulled her hair up into a side ponytail.


The heels bought her 5'1" height up 4 inches as she strolled over to her wall of purses picking out the one that was shaped like a flower, with the center being white and the petals surrounding the center being black.


Sakura grabbed her wallet and keys before heading out for a walk around the town. A late summer breeze enveloped the girl as she set off down the sidewalk heading out if the residential area and out into the night life, hoping to see if she could find something to do or even make some friends before she starts school.

Adam rolled his eyes as they got to the car, he grabbed the speakers and put one of each on the windows, he was glad that this was an updated drive in, with extension cords. He took a hand full of candy and held it in his hands, eating one at a time, though, he can already guess how she's going to eat the candy...he hopes not face first.

She could feel the sweetness on her taste buds and she let out a childish grin. She hadn't had candy in a while. She just had to avoid all the licorice flavored jelly beans.
