Aki grinned. "Yeah, but it'll be sort of embarrassing to walk around dressed up as a maid, you know," she laughed. "What else is there to learn about you? Hmm... are you comfortable about sharing your past?" she asked.

Oliver shrugged, "Theres not much about me" he said honestly, "I like archery, flowers, and tea. Those three basically sum me up" he said


"It must be embarrassing" Oliver said imagining himself in one of those maid outfits. Honestly, he thought he would look fine in one.

"Ummm..flowers. What flowers should I get " he spoke to himself. He looked around the shop.

Luxe got up and placed her cup on the table. "I can help you, Hiro! I don't work here, but I love flowers!"

"That's nice to know. If you have free time, stop by and have tea at the cafe. I'm starting there on the day the school reopens," she says. "Hello," Aki says to the newcomer. "I'm Aki!"

"Thanks. I'm not much of a florist , so the help will be great "he smiled at Luxe.


Hiro turned around and introduced himself to Aki , " My name is Hiro".

"So, one question. What's the occasion? Who are the flowers for?" Luxe let out a warm smile. She started to feel like her regular self again. Being surrounded by flowers made her happy.

"Of course, Ill drop by" he said smiling.


He looked over to Luxe handling a customer. It looked like she had sobered up by now, if she did a good job Oliver thought he would hire her judging from their previous conversation

"Nice to meet you! Your name reminds me of Haru," Aki said, finishing off her cup of tea. "And I like your hair, too," she said.

"Ah...yes ...I mean thanks!"he said to Aki. He slightly blushed from the compliment.

Aki was tempted to touch Hiro's hair and be a little bit more playful, but decided against it. She wanted him to be comfortable around her first so that he would not be caught off-guard by her sudden actions. "So, how old are you?" she asked.

Luxe frowned. "Oh, I'm sorry for your loss. We just lost a friend too." She indicated to the rest of the group. She turned back to Hiro. "It feels like everyone is just disappearing." She sighed. "Enough of my rambling! You'll need flowers that can represent the beauty of life as it meets the beauty of death. "I'm thinking...yellow roses to symbolize friendship...and white lilies to symbolize the passing on from one life to another. We'll only use a few yellow roses, we don't want the yellow to be too overpowering. We want the white to be more apparent than the yellow so that we acknowledge that the person is gone. But with the faint hints of yellow we also acknowledge that your friendship with this person still remains strong. Is that okay? Or do you want more flowers with it?"

"Only employees make bouquets" he said going over to Luxe and crossing his arms pretending he was upset. But then, Oliver smiled and grabbed an apron from behind the counter. He walked over to Luxe and handed it to her.

"Ive just turned 17"he replied. He brushed back a strand of hair. Hiro then smiled at Luxe "They're great. I'll buy whatever style you think it's best " he answered. Akira teased him about the funeral already, might as well get the best to impress .

Adam came out of the bathroom and walked towards Luxe, "Hey Lux, want to go to the drive-in tonight?" he asked her. "Wasup Hiro...got a special someone?" he asked, seeing the flowers.

Luxe nodded at Hiro. "I don't actually work here so I don't know how much this will all cost." She looked back at Oliver. "Uh, I guess you can take things from here." Adam had left the bathroom and walked up next to her. She smiled at his question. "Sure, that'd be lovely!"

Adam smiled, "Alright, we can go see Finding Dora" he said, not caring as every 90's kid knew the first movie, and most of the people who would go to see it are older than the intended demographic. Which was funny.

He took out a notebook and gave it to Luxe, "Heres our employee handbook, you start work tomorrow"

Aki stared at Hiro for a second. Okay, she quit. She couldn't keep playing this game.


She ran up behind Hiro and jumped on his back, securing her arms around his neck with her legs around his waist. "Piggyback," she whispered.

Oliver smiled and looked at the flowers. Normally they would cost about dollars but he couldnt charge that much for someone in need.


"30 dollars." he said smiling. He wasnt going to make a profit on that amount but it did cover the cost of the flowers

Luxe cheered. "Alright! I got a new job and we're going to see Finding Dora! It's going to be the best movie ever!" She turned to Adam. "I'm ready when you are!" She ran up to Oliver and gave him a hug. "Thanks for hiring me!" She leaned close to his ear and whispered. "Try your best to take care of the party set up with Gena. I should be back soon." She walked back over to Adam and grabbed his hand.
