(@CoolCortex basically what happened was we had a meeting at the anime discussion club, randomness ensued. Ryan (@LoneSniper87 ) challenged Adam (@CERBERUS177 ) to a drag race. Adam's car flipped over and bam.)

(I'm just going to assume that Adam's in surgery right now. I mean after all, he did get a pole stuck in his leg. O.o )


Luxe waited in the hallway as Adam was in surgery. Hospitals freaked her out more than anything. Just being here made her feel unsettled. She squeezed the teddy bear that she had bought from the hospital gift shop in her arms. She had bought it for Adam. She was sure a man like Adam didn't have much use for a teddy bear, but it was the thought that counts, right? Besides, she didn't want to get him some cheesy get well card.

Luxe was looking down as she shook her head. "You don't have to apologize. I should have stopped you guys." She looked up at him, first seeing his arm, and then his regretful expression. "Ryan...I've been meaning to ask you. How'd you get those scars on your arm?" They certainly couldn't be accidental.

Ryan gives a quick look at his hands, "Oh." He smirks. "I tell you imma sound like a masochist, be warned. Well when my parents died when i was twelve, it was rough, foster home up until my Uncle came to Chicago and got me, some of these are race accidents back when i wasnt to steady, one or two are woodshop accidents from middle school, and the rest..." He takes a second to think of a non-masochist way to say it. "Well i wanted to learn to defend myself, incase those guys who killed my parents came after me... So i bought a knife, and i started a collection, buying more, different kinds, different makers, different places i traveled too. I used them all at least once, sometimes i accidentaly cut myself and..." He nods to his hands. "There we are." @hprincess01

"That's...a lot of accidents." She spoke slowly, still trying to process what he had said. "I'm sorry I asked...". She didn't mean to bring up such a sensitive topic, but for some reason, it didn't seem to bother Ryan at all.

"It is hour walk from here. So maybe. I can be late though." He says as he starts to walk in their general direction.

Adam was brought out of surgery and put into a recovery dorm, he was still out of it, but he held a hand up as he passed Luxe before he reached the dorm room. He sat in the bed, thinking about how he'll be able to do anything for the remaining month.

"It's fine. I mean im still about my parents... But the knives and all that..." He sighs again. "Yeah... I still see them, you know..." He says sadly, looking down. @hprincess01

She stood up and gave him a pat on the back. "The people who killed your parents. They're not after you...right?" Luxe watched as Adam was rolled by on a stretcher. He gave her a small wave before he was pushed into a room. She was relieved to know he was alright, but she wanted to finish speaking to Ryan before she went to go see him.
