Haru screamed as Adam tackled her. It was unexpected, and she didn't like being touched, thought it was for her own safety. Instinct told her to punch him in the face. Her fist was raised to attack him.

Elch pulled him and the other girl down to the ground. "Well this is quite a predicament.... I thought America was supposed to be safe? Guess not..." He mutters to himself.

Adam put her hand down and kept her still as a round swept low and grazed his back. He ignored it and held her down and tried to ignore the fact that they was a shootout across the street from the school.

"Let me go, let me go," Haru murmured, struggling to fight against Adam, but he was strong. She tried for a kick, too, but her right leg, her strong one, was pinned down. She let out a moan of frustration.

Luxe was sitting in Language Arts when she heard a gunshot. She immediately ducked out down and pressed her back against the wall. The whole class was in a panick as the teacher tries to get everyone to calm down as he locked the door.

Roseamay looked at the boy and smiled. "America? Being safe? As if..." Trying to lighten up the mood, since the girl didn't mind gunshots, nor getting hurt, she laughed lightly. "You'll be safe, I promise. Just... Stay down? Honestly, I think it's one of the worst things to do, but we have to do it." She said softly to Elch.

" I'm trying to keep you safe dammit!" he shouted as a helicopter flew over head, and sirens were heard.

"HEY!! You know, I'm a good fighter, I can get in on the action too-" Haru struggled a bit more before giving up completely. He had more muscle than her, and though she was stronger, his training seemed to have paid off. She groaned, waiting for a chance to escape, but he seemed to give her none.

Jackson let out a sigh as Letty was just joking. "You two probably just met anyway, since I had never seen you two around here before today..." Letty said, 'well duh, I looked different last year,' Jackson thought bluntly, but he didn't say that. "Are you new here?" She asked him, but he shook his head, "no, I've gone here since freshman year, it's just that I um.... well I uh had long hair, and I wore glasses, but this year I cut my hair short and I started to wear contacts," he told her, looking away slightly.

It wasn't until Jackson could hear gunshots off in the distance, the scare broke him out of his awkwardness, "what the hell was that?!" Jackson said, his voice cracking from the fear creeping into his heart.

"I was promised it was safer than Russia. I do not agree with it either. We should be in hallway, then we have two layers of protection. However we move we run risk of ricochet." He says as he starts to bring himself and you closer to the wall.

With that she went quiet again, and just stared at Elch before at the wall.

Letty shrieked from hearing the gunshots, as she fell down to the ground. Dear lord, she hated guns with a burning passion. Even if she played paintball, it was different to shoot a person with paint than an actual bullet. She shook her head, covering her ears, trying to find somewhat of a solace. She tried, and tried, and tried. It wasn't working, no happy place could be found! This was real life, not some stupid drama romance show. If it was, the main male protagonist would have stepped forward and had taken the main female to safety, trying to protect her at any cost. No, Letty wasn't going to be a damsel. She was a hero, not a princess! Yet here she was, feeling small and afraid, and she had every right to be.

Adam, with his officer training permit, wanted to charge out there with every other officer, but couldn't because it would be his ass in the frying pan too. He was in school, otherwise it'd be alright, but he was not allowed to jump into a fire fight unless it was on school grounds, this was something for the SWAT and other patrol officers. He went down to his ankle and kept his hand on the small .22 handgun he was trusted with, as the school needed people to protect it, even if they were students, one's that were training to be cops and had a clean record, were allowed to carry...he was the only one. He hoped the girl didn't feel the weapon, he didn't want her to freak out even more.


(If this is way too much, let me know, I couldn't resist, sorry...I can get rid of this and put a normal one if someone, ANYONE says 'Yes change it')

Haru shuffled around a bit more. Her foot hit something hard. Surely, that couldn't have been this guy's bone? She kicked it again. No way was that a bone. Moving down a bit so that her head was just below his chin, her hair touching his neck, she kicked his foot again. It was a gun. Or something... just to make sure, Haru shuffled downwards, still unsure. How could he... how could he possibly have gotten his hands on a gun? She wanted it more than anything... if it was a gun. Now her face was at his chest, still hitting the cold hard floor. She noticed he was somewhat muscly. It made her smile. Haru hit his foot again. It was a gun.

Seeing Letty fall to the ground in fear, Jackson could feel his knees give out as well. He had never been in a situation, his body was frozen, as if he was surrounded by ice. Tears were starting to stream down his face, great Jackson hated crying, especially in front of others, he couldn't even bury his arms into his face to hide it.

I'm here on behalf of the police department, I am a student, but I originally came from a private police academy, don't worry!" he said, he heard the gun shots getting closer, "Alright, I'm done playing student!" he said, taking his necklace badge out from his pocket and yanked the girl up and dragged her back to the class, it was locked, "Police, open the door!" he shouted, the door opened and he pushed her in, "Lock the door!" he shouted, taking the gun out and walking out of the school to hide behind a police cruiser, he saw Luxe in another classroom, and he opened the cars door and grabbed some sunglasses and took his shirt off, a tank top was under it and he looked like a different person.

Alyssa was in the bathroom when the gun shots went off. She had skipped class to clear her head. She leans against the wall farthest from the window. There was only on window but it was still dangerous. She ponders what to do. Stay or go. She walks to the door to enter the bathroom. There was a lock but it wouldn't hold against someone kicking it at full force. She locks it and sits against the wall. She would be safe for now.
