To be fair, he could EASILY have just escaped if he used magic. But it was safer for his secret if he just played along until they made it too easy. xD


Dante's very much intent on not showing magic unless he has to. Thankfully, his type of magic is difficult to detect because it doesn't have any visual signs. He just has to be sure if he lets any energy out he keeps it in a short burst that he can disguise as normal strength. Otherwise..... I'm pretty sure there's a nice cell in Blackgate just for him....

I have to agree with Crit, the ease with which Dante weasels his way out of everything is truly astounding.


If Pallas had half his ability to worm her way out of awkward situations then she'd probably still be relatively happy at home xD


But if he does end up in a nice cell in Blackgate, at least he'll get a visitor.
