Fantasy Magic ☆ is Dead

Psst... Oreocookies' Elina isn't currently with my Pallas, if you're not aware of it.

She's with CRiTiCAL ERR0R's Urie at the gallows way off in the Central District (if that was the name I'm looking for)
Ohh. I wondered that but I felt it safer than sorry later lololol. AND DANG GONE GUM, Ya'll type crazily fast. Every I get in the OOC its more craziness hahaha.

Just a query, though, was the official play-acting at dying or did she actually die?
She's dead. Whether she was actually a mage or just pissed off the SC is up in the air.

Pallas may not actually know it's a ruse. The less people who know, the less who can spill the secret, after all. But that's up to you.

Welcome to the crazy world of roleplay-obsessed individuals, where we have nothing better to do in life but clog up OOCs //shot

@Saccharine Cyanide

Gotcha. Poor official though; barely any screentime, and she's already been dumped into the character graveyard
xD

Knowing Pallas, she probably won't realize it's a ruse because nobody told her about it, then. Thanks for telling me before I went off and assumed things on my own~

So.... Dante was right that they may use this to get rid of 'unsavory characters'

The Major: It's glorious!

There are rumors flying around that I like var... I vould like to put those rumors to bed... I do not like var... Gentlemen, I love var....

@Saccharine Cyanide

o:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you saying Pallas is a chatterbox?

Though, granted, I do quite a lot of introspective thought for her, so anyone with an ability to filch her thoughts would be privy to a lot...

Aaaaand nobody comments at all about the Nazi-elephant in the room xD

A Nazi-elephant is in the room?

But I thought we were in a meadow! D:

Joking aside, though... I must be stupid, because the only one I could see was one I obliquely referenced many posts ago.

Unless you're talking about that gif you put up, of course, in which case I can say I know nothing of its context or meaning ||D

Yeah it's the gif xD That is the Major from Hellsing Ultimate. Basically he's in charge of the Last Battalion, which is comprised entirely of Nazi Vampires xD If you want to hear a chilling villain speech....

Start at 47:28...

Dr. Tale...heh.

Franco: So, Tale's a doctor.

Pallas: Not the medical kind!

Tale: Not even the other kind...technically.

I'm sorry I couldn't resist quoting Archer... xD

He actually does have a doctorate though

Well then, so even being a sympathizer gets you in deep shit xD

Mages aren't classified as people... It's a bit scary she doesn't realize for a second how wrong that sounds xD

I may have to bring another Shakespeare quote into this... Perhaps the Merchant of Venice....

@One Mean Ghost

Well, if you're a mage sympathiser then it's more than likely you have reason to sympathise with a mage-- which most likely means you know of one or are one. Or, at least, that's how Pallas' reasoning works. I find it makes sense, though you're free to disagree.

Do recall that Pallas had the notion that 'mages are evil' and 'mages must be eradicated' practically branded into her brain. This is a dystopic society, there's no doubt about it, so there's definitely going to be the sorry souls like her who will carry its ideals until they're informed of a better one.

Have fun integrating that in then! Emulating Shakespeare's style for my university work is tiring enough as is, not to mention working quotes in...

Nah, it makes perfect sense, I just didn't consider it when I wrote that part out xD

I'm do like how she blocked out all of his rationale that it could be used for other means than mage eradication.

As for the quote, there's one by Shylock in Merchant of Venice that fits quite beautifully in context here, even better than the quote from Romeo and Juliet I pulled earlier.

I am quite sad that Pallas doesn't seem to care about his poetic heart... Oh well!

Hopefully they can be reasoned with via words. Otherwise they may just find out what it's like to essentially be hit with a cannon ball-force punch ^^

@One Mean Ghost

Well, you're more than welcome to defend Dante as you please, considering that you'd probably not want to see him mouldering in a prison.

Sarcasm aside, though, I don't assume Dante would care much if Pallas tried to reason with him about how mages had a practically god-like advantage over the average non-magical folk, so you can hardly fault her for filtering his words down to what suits her views. After all, she's already suspicious; I suppose you'll just have to forgive her for construing anything and everything he says to a view that supports her suspicions ^^~

I, personally, love Shakespeare, but I can't say Pallas' education would've involved poetics. It certainly won't help her get her job as a Peaceguard, so unfortunately she'll stay unversed in higher-end literature for now :')

And, well, if Pallas can't reason with Dante about her suspicions then she'll be happy to strike that fist squarely with a sword. At least it'll make for a fun fight scene to write~

@Saccharine Cyanide

Is it possible for me to make another Peaceguard to up their numbers, or are we only allowed to have one Peaceguard each? It's just that I got an idea for a Peaceguard that specialized in long-ranged combat while I was showering, and I thought it'd be fun to play him out if you'd allow me to make him.

Crap, I completely forgot to check the OOC and now there's 18 pages! Well, this is what happens when you have notifications turned off. :/

Anyways, the post with the poison water was genius! I didn't see that coming. Can't wait to see what comes as a result. @Saccharine Cyanide

I think I'm going to create a bit of a panic...

Because there's no way there's not at least one mage in the crowd who would lose their shit over this >3

Whaaaat? I was just gonna create a fire elemental that would go nuts and try to murder all the Peaceguards in the area and maybe some civilians too... *feigns innocence*

Seriously, please don't.

[QUOTE="One Mean Ghost]Why not? *pouts*

Because as of right now, it's really not a good idea. And is not amusing. People are already going to be in a panic. The weak hearted are already going to run to the gate for the antidote, which is already going to be chaotic. Let things actually happen instead of adding more fuel to the fire. You might just end up killing everyone by accident if the metaphorical fire gets too big.
