Fantasy Magic Brew Cafè (CLOSED)

Ellie laughed, " nope actually i've never been fishing," she smiled. " We did read a lot together but what we really did together was gardening," She smiled brightly," My dad used to have this amazing garden, and when ever he had a day off we would always spend they day watering, grooming and picking out what we wanted to grow next," Ellie smiled lost in happy memories.

( I gott get back to work :( )

Akira finished her song, she noticed some butterflies. They made her feel uneasy but she thought they were beautiful and familiar. She however started to feel the pushing in her head again of something, darker. The Butterflies flew around her one landed on her shoulder. She heard a bush rustle and a woman stepped out, Akira couldn't see her however because of the cloak she had on. The woman sat next to her. "What happened dear child?" The woman spoke, Akira knew the voice but couldn't pin point it. She sat next to the Woman her eyes shining with sorrow and flickering to purple every once in awhile "I.. some people I thought were my friends, don't even care about me. I found out something about myself I didn't know before, something that makes me now question who I am. I feel so lost and..betrayed." The woman reached over pulling Akira to lean on her shoulder "Well my dear child, that sounds like they weren't real friends. Do not worry, soon you will be shown the right path to take. The path you were meant to take, just be patient while your path prepares itself." Akira looked up at the woman smiling

"Thank you, d..do you mind staying here with me until I'm ready to go back?" The woman nodded "Of course, I shall stay for as long as you need me." she handed Akira a small necklace "If you need me just call on me with this." the woman unfolded her black wings. Akira smiled brighter "You're a fairy, Like me!" The woman nodded and patted Akira's head "You're such a good girl, I can't believe anyone would treat you so rotten. They will get what they deserve don't you worry. They won't go unpunished."

The woman and Akira started talking just enjoying their time together, All the while Akira's wings were turning pitch black runes appearing all over her skin. Butterflies circled their heads.

~END OF NIGHT SEVEN~

~DAY EIGHT~

Vincent groaned softly before forcing his heavy eyes open. When had he fallen asleep? No- scratch that, why was he feeling so refreshed? As his vision slowly cleared up, and his body became used to being awake again, some things became apparent to him. One, he remembered everything that had happened the day before, and his heart sank painfully, two, there was something warm lying on halfway over his chest, and it smelled like flowers.

The demon looked down, and his eyes softened as he realized what it was. He reached one arm up to rub at his face, trying to wake up more, before carefully extracting himself from under the sleeping witch. He didn't want to wake her, he decided as he gently lowered her onto the mattress, throwing the covers over her petite form, after what she experienced yesterday, he thought she deserved to have a few hours in blissful oblivion.

Tiptoing over to the door, he opened it carefully, refraining from cursing when it creaked. He glanced over at Ellie, but found that the lump under the covers hadn't moved, and sighed in relief before exiting the room.

There was so many unanswered questions, he realized as he made his way into his kitchen, so many problems that they had only just scratched the surface of. Why did the hunters burn down Mrs. Morse's shop? Why did they blow up the underground market? How many more of their loved ones would die? As the demon opened the fridge, searching for something to make for Ellie, he realized that these questions, and many more, was what they were fighting to find the answers to.

And right now, he had another question prodding at the forefront of his mind. One that was probably not as important, but certainly seemed like it at the moment. The demon was standing in the middle of the kitchen, a carton of eggs in one hand and a spatula in his other, wondering just how in the world one went about making an omelette.

(sorry, I kinda fell asleep last night)

It hurts...It hurts...Why did they betray me....I thought we were friends.... Ellie sat up with a jolt, gasping as a cold sweat broke out on her face. She looked around expecting to smell potting soil and books but instead smelled....Coffee? As she wiped the sleep from her eyes she finally realized where she was. Why am I at Vinny's....she thought before paling. " That's right...." she said softly, curling up in a ball, her longer hair now spewed out against Vinny's bed. Usually she preferred her hair short, but she just didn't care right now, all she wanted to do was curl up and forget about everything. That is until she smelled smoke and heard pots and pans crashing. Ellie sighed walking down do the kitchen stopping when she saw the source of the noise. Vinny trying to figure out a omelet. A small giggle escaped her as she watched the demon try to figure out how to cook.

Okay... Vincent thought, staring down at the pan with a determined look on his face, his eyes narrowed in concentration, I can do this. I am a grown man, and no egg shall be able to best me! He grabbed the egg in one hand, and carefully cracked it on the side of the pan, as he had seen Seera do a million times before. This wasn't just about making breakfast for Ellie anymore, he had realized after his fifth failed attempt at cracking the infernal egg, this was about his dignity! Grabbing on to the shell with both hands, he carefully pried it open with his fingers, resisting the urge to let out a whoop of victory as the slimy insides of the egg fell down on the pan with a splat, shell-free.

Looking over at the counter, smirking as he heard his enemy begin to sizzle and fry in the pan, he realized with a pout that the kitchen was trashed. There was egg shells strewn about on the counter, a pan with traces off egg burned into it on the side of the oven, and a carton of milk had spilled over in the sink. "Aw man..."

Akira woke up to find herself laying on the forest floor a cloak underneath her head as a pillow. She then sat up in shock looking around "Where'd that woman go?" She couldn't see any trace of the woman but she did see a note and package near where her head was laying. She picked it up and looked at the note

"I am sorry my dear child, I had matters I must attend to, I do hope you forgive me

Inside this package is a present especially for you. I hope you like it, I also hope you

slept well. Until we meet again my dear child.

S "

Akira smiled and opened the package to find a beautiful butterfly hair pin in it. She picked it up and clipped it into her hair with a whispered "Thank you"

The demon whirled around, wide-eyed. He could have sworn that he could feel his heart skip a beat. "You scared me!" He exclaimed shocked, leaning back on the counter to try and calm himself a little. When he saw what she was doing he, held up a hand and shook his head lightly, "You don't have to do that, I'll just clean up after I'm done making your..." He trailed off, looking at the pan, where the egg was bubbling and hardening nicely, "... Egg, thing." He finished lamely, shrugging before grabbing the spatula. Now, the flip.

"No it's fine...I really don't wanna be alone with my thoughts right now," she smiled sadly picking up scattered egg shells. Ellie pouted as strands of her hair kept getting in her face," How can other girls handle this?..." she asked no one in particular.

"I dunno." Vincent replied honestly, if a little distractedly as he maneuvered the spatula with the egg on top over to the plate he had set out beforehand. He quickly flipped the utensil, making the egg land on the plate with a small thump. The demon grinned. "There!" He exclaimed proudly, grabbing the plate and placing it on the kitchen table, gesturing at it, "I present to you, breakfast!"

It was probably the sorriest excuse for breakfast ever made. One depressed looking, half smashed egg on a plate, but Vincent was to elated with the fact that he had managed to cook something edible to take notice. He looked up at Ellie, his eyes shining. "Have some, I'll get coffee!"

(chuckling while writing this, omg.)

Ellie looked down at the egg smiling before cutting a small with her fork placing it in her mouth, It's burnt, she thought to her self before finishing of the rest,But somehow it's still really good, she smiled to herself, going over to the sink to wash off her dish. After she finished cleaning up the kitchen before Seera got here and saw the mess, she walked out to the cafe sitting down at the bar as Vinny made coffee.

This, I actually know how to do. Vincent thought to himself, as he began mixing the coffee grounds, humming quietly to himself. When he saw Ellie emerge from the kitchen, he smiled at her, pressing the machines button, causing it to peep. "So, how are you?" He asked, leaning over the bar, the smell off fresh coffee filling the air.

Ellie shrugged laying her head on the bar, " About as good as one would expect," she sighed looking over at the phone on the wall," I keep expecting her call and ask me how you're doing, or where the family magic book is..." she said sadly turning away from the phone before she would start crying again.

Vincent nodded, fishing two large cups up from under the counter, before filling them with the newly made coffee. He handed her one of them, running his fingers over her hand as he did so, before deciding to try and take her mind of things, "You know," He murmured, sipping his cup, "I think we all need a vacation or something, to get away from the cafe for a while."

(it's happening! O.o )

Ellie looked up Vinny as she sipped her coffee, " A vacation?" she repeated tilting her head. She couldn't remember the last time she left the city, or for that matter she couldn't remember the last time she took a vacation. " Where were you thinking?" she asked lacing her fingers with Vinny's impulsively.

"I don't really know, I've just been thinking that it would be nice to get away for a while, you know?" He mused, running his thumb absentmindedly over her hand while he talked, "Maybe get all the employees and our friends in on it too, get away from the city and just stop worrying about everything for while. I think that would help our cause immensely too. Everybody's been so stressed out lately."

Ellie nodded smiling," Hey, maybe we could go to the beach!" she offered her eyes shining, " I haven't been to the beach in forever," she smiled.

"Er.. sure, the beach, that's fun!" Vincent said excitedly, hiding his frown behind his coffee cup. The beach. Sand everywhere, itchy arms and salt water making his wounds feel like they were on fire. It was amazingly fun. "Are there any beached around here? I don't think I've ever seen any." He told her, keeping his mask in place and giving her a smile. If Ellie wanted to go to the beach, he was damn well gonna make sure she went to the beach, and had a blast too.

" If I remember correctly, there's one a few miles out, Maria and I used to go there when we were younger," she smiled, as Maria barged into the cafe, her normally well groomed hair wild and messy, but none of the mattered right now, she set her eyes on Ellie hugging her tightly as she whined, " I'm so sorry..." she whined hugging Ellie tightly, " As soon I heard I ran straight here," she babbled on.

Vincent smiled weakly at the two witches, before removing his hand from Ellie's letting her embrace her friend. He took a few steps back, grabbing his coffee cup before leaning against the kitchen door frame, just observing them for a while.

Ellie looked down smiling softly, " T-thank you," she said softly as Estelle entered the cafe holding a big bag with a clothing store name on it, " Good morning," she yawned her hair wiggling lazily.

When the imp opened his eyes next, he was standing in the middle of the cafe, looking right into the chest of the very demon he was supposed to talk to. Was that a wine stain?

Blinking a couple of times, the imp forced himself to focus. He was aware that every eye in the cafe was now trained on him, and he was still shaking like mad. Oliver craned his neck and looked up at the blue haired demon, his yellow eyes wide and his face lost. The demons own crimson ones, looked confused.

Oliver took a deep breath, "The Brimstone order wants me to give you this," He said, holding out a greyish looking page between two fingers, as if afraid of touching it, "It's got something to do with your mother. The leader told me to give it to you, specifically."

When the demon didn't take it, Oliver placed it on the bar, shuddering slightly, before turning around to face the room, shoving his hands in his pockets. They all looked sad and confused, and he tilted his head slightly, looking at the Meredith clone. "What happened?"

...............

Vincent walked over to the bar, using his nails to pull the page closer, not wanting to actually touch it. It was a letter of warning from Serathi, that much was true. He quickly skimmed over the first couple of words, written out in perfectly calligraphed latin and frowned. It was much the same as he had expected, when the imp had held it out to him. Nothing to major, and nothing they weren't going to hear eventually anyway, though he thought the letters material was a bit over the top.

The demon sighed and pushed it away, leaning over the bar, looking at the youngest witch in the room, deciding to direct the attention away from the letter. "What's in the bag, squirt?"

Estelle smiled brightly, " Clothes! Last night me and grandmere went out shopping and picked out some outfits for Ellie!" she smiled handing the bag to Ellie causing her to blush and smile, petting Estelle's hair, " Thank you Estelle," she smiled. Estelle looked over when she heard Oliver's voice her hair wiggling even more excitedly, " Twist!" she smiled running over to him hugging him.
