:Lorenzo:
Lorenzo kept his head down, eyes fixated on the floor as he was forced to endure his father's scolding. The gun which he had so eagerly been holding out for all to see only moments before hung down by his side, as if he were trying to hide it behind himself. A pointless gesture for sure; he was almost certain that his father knew that it was he who had fired the shots.
"Just keep yelling, why don't you..." he grumbled under his breath, barely loud enough for anyone else to even hear. It wasn't as if he hadn't already realized his mistake, of course, and he knew that his father was rightfully angry. How the hell had he forgotten that Rose was in the house? Furthermore, why on earth had he allowed Mia to convince him to shoot off a gun in the middle of their dining room, especially while they had guests over? He was a right idiot, a damn fool, and he was pissed at himself - and that damned Varenzo, whom he made a mental note to deal with on a later date - more than anything else. But that didn't change the fact that it was in his basic nature to argue, and hearing the condemning words from his father's own mouth only made things more difficult.
A pointed glare from the Don at the mention of the hole in the wall confirmed Lorenzo's earlier suspicions that his father already knew of his guilt, and the command for everyone to move into his office made the dark cloud that was already hanging over his head grow even larger. The last thing he wanted was to be reprimanded even further. As the Don was greeted by one of his associates - When had Salvatore gotten back? - however, he sulkingly made his way to the study in accord with his father's demands.
