Nick smiled "ash you really didn't need to punch me you know." Nick playfully shoved her and then went to the kitchen to grab something to eat. As he walked towards the kitchen he went over to Austin and clapped him up they had been good friends since they were little kids. "What's up Austin how you been bro. I haven't even gotten a chance to talk to you yet."

"First off the classics rock and second Aubria where's your bathroom? "He asked as he stood up and placed his phone on the chair as he looked around the room at everyone while stretching "sup Nick, I've been pretty good had an interesting school year but I only have a few years left so I'll live what about you champ how's the hockey life treatin ya?" He asked as he patted his friend on the back.

James gets bored of sitting there, on the cold, hard couch. He gets up and says. "I'm going to smoke for a while outside. Come later to watch the movie. He goes out and stands there. The wind breeze so soft yet so cold. He lits his cigarette and starts smoking.

"Okay! Okay fine we'll watch the CLASSIC Nightmare on Elm st capeesh?" I say as I take the PS4 controller and press X to play the movie. It buffers fast and begins to show crystal clear on the huge HDTV. "And don't be hating on me and Ash's love haha" I jokingly say to Lindsey. I quickly glance over at AJ as he's still in his phone. In an ideal world it didn't bother me but here.....it was strange.


I head to the kitchen to fix me some meat lovers pizza and a couple of those delicious cupcakes. I grab my Gatorade by the recliner and sit down beside a preoccupied Austin as the movie starts. I turn the lights dim with the switch on the wall behind me as the sun sets. Austin gets up asking for the bathroom. I give him a dull face " -__- you know where they are. You've been here many times. They haven't changed" I say as I hear the talk of his 'interesting' school year. Bet it was funner than mine, other than swimming the one person I came there for didn't hit me up. All damn year. I still had some animosity towards AJ. I decide to mask it.

Lindsey

A small frown crossed her face when James retreated to go smoke. She wasn't the perfect role model, but she didn't like the fact that he smoked. She figured that by now that ugly habit of his would have been long gone, but it seemed like some stuff didn't change. Lindsey was about to get up and follow James when Aubri put on the movie. She looked out the window to see if she could catch a glimpse of James, but all she was was his silhouette. Lindsey sighed internally wishing things wouldn't be as complicated as she made then out to be.​

Austin shrugged as he walked off "alright but if I get lost I'm gonna be as busy as a cat burying shit trying to find my way back" he said quietly as he headed off around a corner he had to admit things hadn't been the best between him and aubria ever since they split up but he couldn't help but try and make it work he didn't wanna lose a friend over something like this but he wouldn't let it get to him he was here for his friends not for a therapy session.

Nick smiled and laughed "nice bro your going to have to tell me sometime soon what you mean by a interesting year." He laughed a little bit" and hockey has been treating me well bro really well. Like after college I can probably play in the NHL I'm really excited."

Celeste didn't notice that she had zoned out and dozed off for a couple of minutes. Or was it hours? She shook her head and rubbed her eyes. The rest of her friends had gone to watch a movie while some others are missing. Stifling a yawn, the blonde pulled out her phone and sent a quick message to her dad, telling him that she might be a little bit late than she had thought she was going to be. Afterwards, she continued to stare at the others, waiting for her head to resume its composure.

 

[Keiser]

He smoked, just thinking about the times he spent with all this people. Bad times and good ones. But now, he only got ignored, since they cared more about food and blonde kids, other that the one who knew them since 6th grade. It suddenly started raining. He sighed and went back in. He sat on the couch and asked, leaving his faked, childish tone for his serious, deep and raspy voice. "Raining outside."

At the mention of smoking Ash popped herself in the forehead. She had left her pack of cigarettes in the car. Normally it wouldn't be an issue but she smoked a lot anyway, especially when she was drinking. Clucking to herself she stood drink in hand and went to grab her keys off the dining room table. She shot Bri an I'll be back look and slipped outside to run to her car. On the way she passed James, giving him a brief smile as she jumped down the stairs. They didn't talk much and Ash really didn't know why. She was usually so outgoing but for some reason she could never really think of anything to say that wouldn't sound stupid when talking to him. He just seemed so serious. Unlocking her car she grabbed her smokes and her lighter from the passengers seat. Almost instantly she took one out and lit up, enjoying the soft and slightly sharp scent of cloves as it filled her nose. Heading back towards the house she stopped on the bottom step of the porch. Exhaling a small plume of grey smoke she giggled as the light rainfall dampened her hair.

Lindsey

Lindsey's eyes grew wide and her head turned when the door opened to let James inside. A hopeful smile crossed her face, but she was quick to hide it. There was something in Jame's voice that made her worry. Lindsey crawled to be next to his foot and she gently tugged at his jeans. "Hey what's wrong?" She whispered soft enough so she wouldn't be overheard by the movie previews, but loud enough for him to hear her.

Celeste wrinkled her nose in disgust. "Great. Well, I don't mind getting wet. Haven't danced in the rain for a long time." She secretly hoped the rain would stop before she heads home for the night, otherwise the bills at the back of her pocket would turn into mush the moment she gets home. That, and she'll drip all over the bus. She strode over to the window and watched the scene outside. "Nice view," she murmured to herself. She reached out a hand to catch the droplets falling from the sky, twirling her fingers as they glisten against her tan skin.

 

[Keiser]

He sees Lindsey hug his leg, he just gives a quick glance at her and looks up to the television. "Old me broke down my barriers, watch the movie." He says.

 

[Arael]

After a finding the bathroom Austin headed back into the den with everyone else and took a seat back in his chair and watched as James walked back in from the rain his voice sounding a little bit different than last time but he paid it no mind this kind of stuff was common in their group of friends, " did i miss anything? "He asked to no one in particular.

I see Ash roll outside, probably to get her smokes. I look at Celeste open her eyes as she groggily tries to reconnect with the world and rain, I don't say anything I just return a smile shaking my head. James then re-enters and sits down, I can see he didn't get my text message. No one ever really replies me individually, why I'll never know. Then I think about AJ and why he'd ask me directions to the bathrooms we have. He knew there was one in the hall and one upstairs near my room.... he asked did he miss anything to which I responded: "Nahh." my eyes looking dead ahead.


No way I could do it. I can't pretend. I got up silently and tapped Austin on the shoulder and motioned him to follow me. I then proceed to walk upstairs to my room, making sure he's behind.

Nick then turned to walk back into the kitchen when he accidentally bumped into James legs. Nick turned and looked at James "oh I'm sorry James my fault I didn't see you there. I'm sorry." Nick never really understood why James didn't like him that much but he had to admit that sometimes he didn't like James so much either. Nick stared at him for a second and hen headed to the kitchen to get a bottle of beer and some pizza.

Celeste sighed and walked towards the kitchen to find something to wipe her arm on. She finally spotted some paper towels near the sink, and grabbed a couple, wiping her arm and hand in the process. "Everyone looks so gloomy," she said with a pout, wondering what had happened when she had zoned out.

Nothing really, everyone's cool but James..he and Nick are stand off-ish. Aubria's trying to keep cool about AJ but other than that it's all good lol

Lindsey

She gave a small frown at Jame's distance. He'd never been cold to her so this was new. She didn't really know what to make of it, but she was sure she didn't like it. Her train of thought was broken by Austin's reappearance through the kitchen portal. "We finally chose a movie Lindsey said in harsher tone than she expected. Lindsey shook her head, grabbed her plate and got up to get more pizza and another drink. There was something happening and she wasn't going to deal with it on a sober level.

Lindsey plopped two pieces of pizza on her plate and grabbed the bottle of vodka Aubri had said there was. She poured herself a glass and drowned her cup. The burning sensation send chills down her spine and left a tingling feeling in her throat and mouth. She had never drank straight from the bottle. She usually mixed her liquor with some sort of fruit juice or something so she ended up gagging a bit. Lindsey poured herself another glass but was more careful on drinking the whole thing this time. She leaned against the counter waiting for the burning sensation to pass when she felt a buzzing in her pants. Lindsey grabbed her phone from her butt pocket and stared in horror at the screen.​

James hated horror movies, he only voted for them since he wanted to get closer, but since she zoned him out, like always. He got up and went towards the kitchen. He grabbed a soda and sat down in the kitchen, resting on the wall. He takes a sippy and puts on his hood, he looked down and tried to sleep there.
