Nick smiled at everyone. He had definitely gotten more muscles since he left to play college hockey. "So what's up everyone I haven't seen any of you in forever." Nick sat down on the couch looking at his friends.

"NICKYYY! Tell me how's the east coast? Boston has to be like, cold right? And hey, since these bozo's can't pick a horror movie will you do the honors?" I then slide over to hug Nick before reclining in the recliner and opening my Gatorade.

Nick smiled and hugged aubria back "damn girl I missed you. I missed all of you guys, and you have no idea how cold it was in Boston in the winter. In snowed all the time I was freezing, but I did get to miss a lot of class because of the snow." He laughed and looked through the movies "um how about the haunting in Connecticut?"

Lindsey

Lindsey snicked a bit by the choice of movie, but who was she to judge. Her likes included movies from the 80s and earlier. She foung things of this century too cliche. Although several films had actually been decent enough, she still preferred the old school horror movies over any of the gory stuff they label as scary now-a-days. Lindsey was a harsh movie critic which is why she was hardly ever invited to go to the movies she couldn't stay quiet for more than 5 minutes without making a comment about the cinematography or the poor choice of actors. This time, she had a goal to sit quiet through a movie and actually pretend to enjoy it.

"I haven't seen that one yet, is it good? If so yeah sure I'm with it chico. So how's that Ice hockey? Lost any teeth yet?" I ask to Nick with slight humor. I don't think any of us ever came to see Nick play a live game of hockey. I watch the games on ESPN when I can though, and man does it get rough. Looking at Nick you never get that tough, rough vibe from his sweet, suttle nature.....but then again I'm a different person when I hit the natatorium.


I give Lindsey a slight look, that girl never could watch a movie straight without some wrathful criticism on it. "Lindsey, behave." I say, giving her a smirk.

Lindsey

"Oh the movie is perfect if you like pop up scares as the only source of horror." Lindsey shifted her weight to get more comfortable on the sofa and then decided she was better off on the floor. She grabbed one of the throw pillows on the sofa and placed it on the floor. She slithered down to the carpet and padded the pillow a few times before comfortably laying down on top of it. She extended her limbs and smiled innocently at Aubria "What are you talking about? I'm being an angel!"

Ash giggled shoving her phone in her pocket as she turned off the car. She had just pulled up in the drive and found herself looking directly at the aforementioned Lambo. She shook her head, silvery blue curls spilling into her face with the action. Unlocking the door she climbed out, sitting the container of cupcakes on the roof so she could grab the bottles and Roma's terrarium. Slipping the terrarium on to her wrist she grabbed the cupcake tray. She wasn't worried about dropping anything, she had gotten the act of balancing multiple items at once down to an art since she started working at the tea shop. But she did hope that Bri would be on the way to open the door. She wasn't fond of kick-knocking on the door, plus she had worn heeled boots. Making her way up to the door she started humming to herself once again.

Nick smiled his perfect smile. " come on now does it look like my beautiful face is messed up at all. You know this is how I get all the um girls I would never let my teeth get knocked out, but anyway hockey went really great this year I won the award for best freshman player in the country and we made it to the nations semifinal but lost to university of Minnesota. We will win the national championship next year no doubt. How was swimming his year?" Nick then turned to Lindsey "oh come on Lindsey it's not that bad and you know it."

,My eyes glow at the text from Ashtin. I scream to the top of my lungs. Blanco pops his head up and jumps at my squeal. I dart to the door and open it to see my bestie, my ace, my Ashhy. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" I grab the cupcakes and set them down because we both knew what was next. I bear hug Ashtin and begin hopping up and down. "Sorry sorry sorry not really sorry I just love you and missed you and ohmygodyouarereallyhereandIshouldstoptalkingandletyouin AHHHHHH!!!!!!" I grab the cupcakes and bring them in to place them on the dining room table. "Look who's here guys!" Blanco begins to bark at Ash with his tail wagging out of control, begging to be loved. Ash was the only one that'd had petted him besides me.

"Sorry Nick (( @Timv9 )) , swimming was great this year I almost beat the record for fastest 50M free, coach said I just need more poise....and I guess we're twins because I too won the Freshman of The Year!!!"

Austin looked up from the chair that was in the middle of the couch and the recliner and waved at Ashtin "hey Ashy" he said with a smile that was one more friend they could add to the party now they were only missing one more and then the whole gang was there.

 

[Keiser]

He sees Ash come in. He simply waves at her, since they hadn't had much interaccion the days they could see each other. But then, Nick enters. He sighs and rolls his eyes. He hated him, even more than he did to Austin, he took them as people who tought they were better than all of us. ''Hey, Aubria, so we watchin' the movie?''

Lindsey

Lindsey snicked a bit at Aubria's enthusiasm at seeing Ash. It was heart warming. "Hey Ash! Good to see you again! Lindsey lifted her glass in a greeting, but made no effort to break the bond she and Aubria shared. "Are those...red velvet? Lindsey asked staring at the cupcakes as Aubria took them to the kitchen. Lindsey forgot the cupcakes for a bit and turned her head over to Nick. "Oh Nick...I'm sorry. You're right. It isn't that bad. It's terrible." Lindsey winked at Nick and then took a sip of her drink.

"Ugh, patience James can I atleast say hey to my best friend and help her with the stuff?" I say giving James a goofy, sarcastic look. I notice him around Lindsey and getting extra cozy with her. Both are my amigos, none of my business though.


I look at Austin, who seems to have grabbed a dining chair and pulled it up in between the sofa and recliner. "You can have the recliner if you want Austin you don't have to sit in that hard chair...or I could get you a pillow for the floor if you want."

Ash giggled at her welcome, already used to Aubria's hyper energetic personality. She waited for the girl to let her go and whisk away with the cupcakes before waving at everyone. She went to set the bottles down on the table along side the terrarium, checking on Roma who was standing up against the wall, feet tapping frantically probably frightened by all the jostling. Kneeling she patted her legs to invite Blanco over. The energitic dog came almost immediately and Ash smiled scratching the dog behind the ears and along his neck and back.


"My day was absolutely wonderful as always... Though I left my phone at home or I would have been here so much sooner... I missed your bubbly self... Hey Lin...and yes the cupcakes are red velvet... I made them right when I got home from work and then got distracted communing with the garden... Oh and I hope you guys don't mind that I brought Roma, I'll have to take her out of the terrarium eventually or she'll get cranky..."

 

[Keiser]

He gets up, since he was sick of sitting down there, just alone. He walks toward the kitchen while cracking his knuckles, it was almost an addiction to do that for him, he looks at Nick and gives me a stink look then continues to the kitchen. grabs some chips and another Coca cola, while passing and patting Lindsey on the shoulder. He walked toward the couch again, against the edge of the couch and sits down.

Austin looked up from his phone as aubria offered him the recliner he smiled and shook his head "no thanks I'm good here" he said as he went back to his phone and waiting for them to start the movie, he noticed James give nick a strange look but he shrugged it off and just went back to what he was doing.

Nick smiled at aubria "that's great I'm happy for you and at least you get to do it in a warm place still."@ch0sen1 Nico the turned to Lindsey "you're just no fun Lindsey you know that." Nick playfully shoved her with his foot just messing around @NessieAlways


Nick then got up and hugged ash"hey ash what's up long time no see!" Nick put her down and smiled. @X3 Infernal Infinity

I smile at Nick as James comes in the kitchen beside me and grabs a coke, I give him a playful nudge before he leaves to go to the den.


Austin refuses the recliner and floor and just goes back into his phone like nothing. 'Ok.....probably one of his girlfriends' I thought. "Okay then" I tell Austin and announce to all while placing my head on Ash's shoulder:


"Ok soooooo before we start the movie there's pizza: pep, meat lover, veggie lover for Lin.....and I swear anyone touches Ash's famous red velvet cupackes and leaves me none....it'll be safer to sleep with the Devil tonight....uhhh chips, dip, drinks galore, so yeah DIG IN!"

Lindsey

"Ah hell no! Those cupcakes are mine!" Lindsey jumped up from the floor and threw her pillow at Nick for his foot shove. She stuck out her tongue at him playfully and ran to the kitchen to get food. After a while Lindsey came back with a mouth full, a veggie pizza on her left hand and a red velvet cupcake on her right, both missing a bite. "Tha yo fo th cupcaes ash, and tha yo fo th piza aubi" Lindsey managed to say with a full smiling mouth. She sat back on the floor and gobbled down her pizza and cupcake.

Lindsey wasn't a complusive eater, but when it came to pizza and Ash's cupcakes no one stood in her way from binge eating the delicious glory that was pizza and cupcakes. Once the food was out of her mouth and in her belly. Lindsey placed her pizza on a plate she had brought and grabbed for the pillow she had thrown Nick. "Can we watch Nightmare on Elm Street?"

He sees Lindsey sit on the ground. He sighs and looks at the left, at the door. He passes his hand over his hair and crosses his arms. He takes a sip of his coke and just points his head to the ground, laying it down.

I watch on as Lindsey bolts for the copious amounts of food as she grabs pizza and cupcakes and talks with a full mouth. Full, smiling mouth. I facepalm into a laugh at her thanking Ash and I. At Lindsey's request of Freddy, asked


"Wait....classic Kruger, or like that Sam Raimi remake?"

"No problem..."





She giggled shaking her head as she punched Nick, not so gently, in the ribs. She smiled moving to grab a cup and pour herself a drink. That accomplished she opened Roma's terrarium, putting her hand at the entrance. The large cobalt tarantula scampered eagerly in to her hand, climbign up her arm in a way that made her struggle not to laugh, before settling in on her shoulder. Grabbing her cup and the bottle of vodka she made her way back to the room where the others were. They were trying to decide on a movie and a horror movie at that. Ash didn't find them scary but she didn't watch a lot of movies either. Grabbing a pillow she plopped down of to the side, sitting Indian style.


"Pick a movie and hush... What type of weird movieless movie night is this...?"

Lindsey

After swallowing another bite from her pizza Lindsey responded, "Please Aubri don't you know me by now? Seems like you only want to know Ash" Lindsey said jokingly but implying the undeniable attraction between Aubria and Ashtin. Although Aubria claimed to be straight, Ashtin was too pretty of a girl for anyone to pass up. Even Lindsey had had the hots for her when they first met. Lindsey took a bite of her pizza. "Classi of cour" She said in another full mouth.​
