Fandom Lion King-- Scar's Reign (WIP/open)

This is the time in the original Lion King movie in between the time; After Scar killed Mufasa and before Simba comes back. I feel like there is a lot that happens in there that no one talks about and would love to see how it plays out. There are still lots of open canon characters and OC’s are welcome too.

Kamaria opened her jaws wide in a long yawn, as she rolled herself on her back in the loose dust on the rock, she was currently sunning herself on. She flopped over on her stomach, as she saw a few other lionesses laying around. She stood up lazily and shook her tannish-white coat, as she stopped, she looked out onto the savannah and frowned seeing the eyesores of hyenas running around.



Penda pounced around some rocks around Pride rock, she slipped a bit and stubbled onto the ground. She tumbled a bit and fell on her belly, as she stood, she shook out her dark pelt. A small dust cloud puffed out of her coat. She looked around to see if anyone saw her tumble.



Tabia walked out on a trail towards priderock, she watched a cub run past her. she paused as she watched the cub run in between her legs, she smiled as the cub ran off. she turned her head and saw a few hyenas following the cub, she frowned as they passed her. She swayed her tail and continued her way towards priderock, her mind caused her to pause and she turned to make sure the cub was going to be ok with the hyenas following so close behind.



Zalika was hunched down in some high dried grass, in the savannah, she was practicing her stalking. Her tail flickered behind her as she spotted an unsuspected mouse that popped out in front of her. she grinned to herself as she tensed her muscles up. Her ears spun back, and she leapt forward, with one paw she caught the mouse, she had her paw over it with her claws out. She bent down and looked in the little claw cage at the little terrified mouse. She chuckled “oh, how unfortunate for you.” She chuckled to herself as she grinned at the creature.



Hami looked down in the watering hole, looking at his reflection, he turned his head back and forth. He reached up with one of his massive paws and ran a it down the back of his mane. He nodded to himself approving, he thought he spotted something on his nose and leaned in closer to the water. A gaggle of hyenas surrounded him suddenly and greedily started lapping up the water. They splashed his face as they fought over who would drink first. He shot straight up, with a roar “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” he shook his head free of water and mud. They hyenas laughed nervously as they made several excuses and pushed blame on each other. Hami ignored him as they continued fighting among themselves. He growled as he turned and sauntered away from the feuding hyenas.

Laying on her side and sunbathing on a rock was Amara. The light furred lioness had a peaceful look on her face as she napped, sighing through her nose as she stretched out her legs a moment once she started waking up. Her ear perked at the sound of someone else on a nearby sunbathing rock yawning and moving about. Opening one of her eyes she glanced up to see Kamaria standing and frowning.

"Mm, what's the matter?" She hummed sleepily, lifting her head a moment.

Sarafina looked up from where she had her head resting on her crossed paws, following Kamaria's line of sight from her own sunbathing rock.

"Seeing hyenas running around on the savannah is going to be hard to get used to, huh Kamira?" She asked.

"I saw that." Climbing on top of a rock was Faraji, the green eyed cub chuckling as he glanced down at Penda from where he stood, tail flicking behind him lazily.

"Between you and me? You're a lot better at it than Jabari. You okay?" He added.

Speaking of Jabari, the young cub was running towards Pride Rock as fast as his legs would take him. He was going to get there first no doubt about it! He had claimed to be the fastest of cubs and he wasn't going to be shown up or else he'd look lame. Running under a lioness' legs he didn't stop or look back, kicking up dust as he went. He, very vaguely, knew that he'd need a bath later, and then that'd mean his mom would start fussing and would be annoying. He huffed, as much as he loved her he couldn't really get why she worried so much.

Cyrus was having a usual day, trying to avoid lions and hyenas. He was in his normal spot in the fields, far enough from pride rock, his life wasn't that interesting but the male dog had to deal with it, he then got up and stretched, yawing as he listened to see if anyone was near before he went to his so called 'home'.
