Alright, it'll be in the post then.

Yep. In fact, there was an absurd amount of time taken to pick colors lol I was experimenting with colors for a good while, trying to find the right ones. I went over the whole thing with a bunch of different colors so many times that I think I might throw up colors lol
Now I want to see it even more 😭 But as Kumii said, we'll hold out until the post.

"We still haven't found the cure for cancer but there 12 different, readily available milk substitutes. Which, I would argue, is 11 more then we neeeeeeed!"

It's crazy how this is such a random and strange topic, but my gosh, does he have a point 😭 Whole milk, almond milk, cashew milk, walnut milk, skim milk, hazelnut milk, macadamia nut milk, peanut milk, pistachio milk, sesame milk, hemp milk, flaxseed milk, soy milk, rice milk, pea milk, goat milk, organic milk, lactose free milk...crazy how this list goes on and on.

How tf do you milk a pistachio?

Very carefully.

Anyway, as I was saying, I'm liking the brand-new sneak peek into what's to come with the Desert Kingdom chapter. Harly the Kid and Amber Anema are two intriguing characters who seem like they'll be captivating in the roleplay and most likely vital to the new chapter. I've already got the feeling that they're versatile in battle but delving deeper into their character, have a less superficial layer involving their pasts or how they see and experience life. This layer reveals more of their character, and I love that both of you incorporated that into the sheets.

Right off the bat, I feel bad for Harly. He lost everything he loved and knew, then was forced to spend his childhood fighting to survive on his own with no one there to guide him. Even coming to the point where he had to take a life at such a young age, which is why he sees murder as a normal thing. It's never good when you've become accustomed to murder, so it's sad to see that it's become sort of infectious in his life. That trauma of abandonment and such an early loss of innocence seemed to have done a number on him.

Aside from that, I also find his arsenal to be really cool. I like that they're exclusive—definitely not weapons with common designs and purposes. The way you managed to incorporate his sand control into useful and deadly tactics that an enemy would never see coming, as well as constructing handy purposes The sand that works as a silencer and a glass scope; the sand bullet that explodes into a sheet of glass that surrounds enemies; sandstone bullets. They're interesting constructs.
And those who were against Harly's way of business and acted against them would soon look down the barrel of one of his prized guns.
Cold line right there.

And then Amber gives off a "heavy hitter that'll crack your spine in two" kind of vibe but is also a more wholesome woman that'll give extensive care for those around her, even though she looks intimidating. And just as Harly was, Amber is another victim of the fall of the Desert Nation. I can't wait to learn more about this event and how it unfolded because from what I can tell, it was catastrophic for the lives of many.

Amber also has a move-set that I love. Especially the "Elemental Infusing" trait. Her allies are LUCKY to have her by their side in battle. Imagine the number of tactics and unpredictable attack patterns they must be able to create just by making a melting pot of magic types with hers. This is probably one of my favorite things about Amber's sheet. You two think of such creative ways for your characters to use their magic; it's absolutely awesome.

In Amber's background, you revealed a more realistic and relatable side to her, Kumii. She showed pity and compassion to Harly when she first met him, also vowing to protect him, even though she knew he was from the royal family, which she lacked trust in or assurance toward. This goes back to where you stated that Amber has a "mother-type personality", which I agree with..

I also like the detail of Amber constantly fixing her appearance, even during battle. It's a common thing people do in real life, so it adds a sense of her being relatable and seeming more human.

In all, enjoyed reading both character sheets and can't wait to see them in the roleplay. I wanna know what their part in the chapter will be like. Great job with this duo.

(also, I assume that Kurok has a character sheet on the way?)

Compliments all around! Love it.

The Collapse is called the Great Tragedy of the Desert for a reason. The Royal family (King and Queen specifically) intentionally sunk the entire Palace (and only true safe haven at the time) into the desert to stop the ongoing civil war.

(And this isnt a spoiler, this was revealed very early during the RP by Skyla as she remembers it from her childhood as best as she can cause she was about 3 when it happened.)

I told Alpha that I hadn't seen anyone with weather control do the Infusing so it's a unique thing to Amber right now. Infusing is also where a bulk of her damage will come from so she relies on her allies to provide to the Fire, Water, Electric or Ice to Elementally Infuse her attacks.

Seriously? That's wild. I mean, I get that they were trying to avoid the war, but they did damage to the lives of so many people. Hopefully further in the roleplay we get a deeper explanation to this, because as of now, it seems totally illogical. The lore for this chapter is gonna be crazy I just know it.

Mhmm

Okay, I just now read through Bashirah's skills.

I will not have an owl pooping on my characters, Shark lol (I don't care. I just chuckled when I saw that.)

Someone finally noticed it 😭

I had added it in as a joke ability, but then came to the point where I'd just have her use it as a distraction. It's so disgusting by awfully useful at the same time. If I was in a fight and a bird randomly pooped on my head, ALL of my attention would be diverted toward that thing 😭😭
