Columbus yelped and pulled Nyx off his face, he held him at an arm's distance and frowned, he dropped his hexes and spells, allowing himself to look undead once more, he made biting motions at the cat and struggled to say, "I swear to god...Jump...On my face...One my time...And I will bite you....SO HARD....That I might just...Cause a Zombie Apocalypse."

It had been some time since Raven sat under the oak tree. Everyone that was at the scene left, and Raven was alone once again to nothing but him....and his thoughts. He looked at couples who were holding each other tightly, seemingly reuniting during Lakoria High's plague crisis. The girls were either crying or whimpering or both, while the guys were all trying to comfort their companions. She doesn't love you, she just needs your protection.... Love is a lie, and all lies do is conceal the truth. The truth hurts as they say.... and the truth is, she is most likely squeezing what she can out of you before she moves on to the next victim. That vixen... she has you so blinded by love that you cannot see her ulterior motives. It's a dog eat dog world out there, and we all do what we can to satisfy ourselves. There is no "Love"... only lust. Raven thought as he watched a couple kiss. Raven closed his eyes to indulge in his own anguish, and then he decided to re-enter the school since everyone else was migrating inside due to the recent events.


"I love life." Raven said to himself.


He lied.

"I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be worth it though Columbus, he is cat after all, you might get hair stuff in you teeth, gross," Dhaylian informs as the pair struggled, "though you could probably calm him down with catnip, they love the stuff."


"But what would I know, I'm just a fairy-boy," he continues, being sarcastic as he looks around the rather spacey room. "You know, I never realized why the ceiling was so high.... but I'm pretty sure large shapeshifter had to, re-innovate it so to speak," he comments, purposely avoiding and ignoring the boys and focusing more on Jay, whose was standing by the door patiently.

Raven was simply confused at the sight he was beholding. Everyone seemed to be in panic or in fear, and the hallways were filled with people sitting on the ground or running from here to there. What is going on? Raven questioned to himself. A student bumped into him while running towards a classroom. "Watch yourself kid!....*sigh* Disrespectful brat."


Raven is a Senior, and although he is only 17 he sees everyone else younger than him to naive and mindless. After enduring many trials in his past that know one has any knowledge of, specifically because of his transition to becoming Corvus, he felt he had the biggest grip on reality. He saw the world for what it was....what it is, not what it could be. Joy and happiness were mere moments in life, and they can easily be taken away. Friendship, Love, Trust, they all seemed to be humanity's biggest lies. No matter how great of a person one may be, it does not stop the rest of the world from being one big fat lie.

As Enki watched Shina fly off he started to walk to the stairs to go join the battle. He placed his hand on the door then stopped "Wait, what if I get in her way and she dies again." Enki thought out loud, he looked down at his feet and moved away from the door, the thought made him sad. "But what the situation gets worse?" Enki thought again, he started to feel better that he wouldn't be a burden and as he approached the door again the image of her dying again filled his mind. Enki then stopped himself and remembered her saying that it was her choice, then the image went back into his mind. "Dammit, what do I do!" Enki shouted as he wasn't sure what to do, he ran to the edge to see if the fighting was still happening, he decided to go help but saw that the fighting stopped and they were all standing around. Enki sighed "I'm so pathetic!" He yelled "I need to get stronger, if I don't how will I beat Nyx. I need to stop letting the past hold me back." Enki complained. "And I want to stop apologising to Shina. She won't talk to me if I continue to be weak." Enki looked around, he wasn't sure on how to train. He saw a nice empty spot next to the roof that wouldn't affect the surroundings. He looked at it confidently and started throwing fireball after fireball, counting each time to see how many he could throw, he had most of his energy so he could try his full potential at full energy.

Raven's thoughts were interrupted by what sounded like explosions coming from outside. He once more saw flashes outside from the windows and had even more questions. Now what? Raven headed back towards the entrance and walked outside the school.


Looking around, he spotted one particular person who seemed to be shooting fireballs rapidly but at the same time seem to be exhausting himself from it. He could not quite figure out as to why he was firing blindly, but Raven just simply marvelled at the scene and sat on the grass continuing to observe Enki.

Enki tried to focus on his training but it felt like someone was watching him, he lost count of how many he shot "Crap, what was it?" He scratched his head and looked around, he saw what looked to be a humanoid figure and gave a hope full sigh. It looked like he was amused by Enki's show Well I guess this would catch attention. But with everything that happened is this that amusing? Enki thought as he called over to the boy "Hey, how many did I fire?" Enki hoped the boy would listen.

"More than enough to allow me to reach the conclusion that you're stressed...and I am certainly able to recognize that face of feeling as if you're not enough. I know it all too well." Raven said with a smirk on his face. He closed his eyes for a brief moment to recall a flashback to when he felt the same way, feeling hopeless and lost in his own weakness. He looked back at Enki. "I can also see...that you have someone you are currently keeping close to your heart. I can see it in your eyes..." Raven said quietly. "...But I also feel like you have this desire or need of something... but...what?" Raven did not move from his sitting position, and he adjusted his collar slightly.

Enki looked at him, confused by his answer. What he said was true but he was dazed on one part 'I can also see...that you have someone you are currently keeping close to your heart.' If he meant Shina, I wouldn't say heart but...He thought on this and started to blush a little then when back to serious "I appreciate you being able to read what I think but still, you didn't answer my question. I still haven't reached my limit. Now, how many did I fire?" Enki asked slightly annoyed that he read his thoughts, or that was what he believed. He just wanted to continue his training.

"Twenty-three, but is blatantly firing fireballs really necessary? There is no structure, no technique, no....purpose in your barrages." Raven stood up. He could see the confusion on Enki's face. "If you're wondering if I'm psychic, you're mistaken. I just happen to be friends with pain. In fact I am its messenger." Raven spoke with authority. "What I would like to know, is what are you confused about...and why are you so unfocused with what you are doing? Why are you out here like this, without a clear mind?" Raven took a step forward. He held out his hand, and smoke started to form around it, and then a sword was created. He held it downward, closed his eyes, inhaled slowly, then took a slice at the air. Raven took a few more swings, with focused precision.


"I do not know what you plan to accomplish in your present state, but you will not grow stronger by simply venting your frustrations. You must have purpose."





Goals are established by the desires of the heart...Purpose, is created in contraction to your existence. Raven thought to himself.

Enki laughed, 'There is no structure, no technique' It made him laugh as again it was true, but at the same time not. "So you can't read everything, if it bothers you that much, my plan is to see how much many I can shoot out. Then I plan on beating that score and making techniques that are more powerful that can cause more damage yet use up more of my energy." He then thought more "I need to get stronger so I can help someone I care for a lot." Enki looked away, he was annoyed that he was being too caring but it surprised him as well. It would also be easier to focus if I didn't have a audience. But I guess if I have one I should continue the show?" Enki said with a smirk, what he said still annoyed him a bit, he just wanted to practise in piece.

"Apparently you do not get what I am saying." Raven said calmly. He planted his sword in the ground and stared at it. "You will not be able to achieve greater strength in your powers by using them up to their maximum. Developing your powers the right way will allow you to strengthen their effects." Raven turned to Enki. "Do what you will, but unless you understand that seeing how much you can get out of your powers won't make you stronger, you will not be."





Corvus, you have been summoned to assassinate an enemy of the immortals.


With that, Raven transformed into Corvus and disappeared.

Enki got annoyed by his last comment, as he was about to say something the boy disappeared. Enki became confused. "Ok, that was strange. So he came here, questioned my training methods and some how made me feel awkward" Maybe that was part of his magic or something "Then left with out even telling me his name, how rude." Enki said with a slightly annoyed tone in his voice. "But as much as I may hate being wrong, he was correct. If I can't control my powers, how am I meant to protect anyone?" Enki sighed in disappointment "I need to be able to control my power better before I can even think about getting stronger. But how, I thought I had a good understanding on how this works. I wonder if Shina cou... No, I don't want her to help me no matter how good she is. I will do this by my self so I can show people that I am strong and I don't need others." Enki said out loud, he heard a chirp. He quickly blushed thinking that Shina was behind him but it was just a robin. He sighed in relief.

Nyx struggled out of columbus's grasp in a panic as he saw Columbus become more like a zombie and threaten to bite him Nope, nope nope nope Nyx thought as he ran behind Jay's legs trying to keep his distance from columbus not really wanting to be bit. As he had lied about the whole nothing lasts when he changes back in the hopes that he could use it as a threat, But it obviously wasn't working

The Surgeon looked in at Nyx's dorm through the window, standing inside one the third floor of the clinic. He would have to find another time to gather what he wanted.


In the meantime though, he knew he was free to continue the plague.

(Dhaylian's weird blood could give him the ability to speak? *shrugs* but it's up to you)


"Columbus... if you bite him I'm pretty sure he'd still be a cat, let's try to fix him first, whatever happens next will fix then to," Dhaylian says with a tired smile.


"But first we actually have to get to Nyx's room," He adds knowingly with a chuckle. He pops his neck and his back, and heads to the door, pushing up his glasses and running a a hand through his femininely long black hair.

"Ow, some of us AREN'T DEAF YOU KNOW!" Dhaylian says definitively, rubbing his ears. They had taken a variety of twists and turns to reach Nyx's and just when they get there..... there is already a problem.


"Sorry..." he says sheepishly, "What's seems to be the matter, other than Nyx?" He rolls up his sleeves and buttons them in place, in order to work more precisely of needed.

Nyx felt the mental connection to Jay fade away, feeling like a part of his head was now unoccupied Well there goes my options of communication Nyx looked at jay "Meow" Nyx said turning his attention away from jay and towards the room Noticing it looked different than earlier Could've sworn there was two beds in here, Actually where's Ja'Zi's stuff? Nyx asked himself, deciding that it wasn't important Nyx Jumped out of Jay's arm and went to retrieve his book on The effects of Different blood on vampires from his chest of drawers. Realizing he had no way to open it he tried to ask Jay to Hey can you op- Oh yeah Nyx thought mentally sighing "Meow,meow meow" as Nyx said this he started to claw at the drawer hoping Jay or the other two would get the hint

"Well most people here have a dorm partner, but sometimes they get moved around," Dhaylian shrugs. Another person you didn't get to meet....





"So is this your book of spells Nyx?" he asks seriously, picking the book up from the draw and laying it on a bed. The book was fairly old with strange writing on it.... Wait... that's right... I've never learned to write in English.... is this what this is?

(Since Jay can't hear Nyx, I'll have him play dumb for a post or two. I mean, there's no way anyone could just see a cat clawing and instantly know he wanted a book.)


Jay followed Nyx as the kitten padded into the dorm room. "Aw, crud I'm sorry about that, Nyx. I think the mental bond broke." He noticed Nyx clawing on the desk. "Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa. Nyx! Stop scratching up the furniture!" He picked up the kitten by the scruff of his neck. "What's gotten into you?"

Nyx jumped up onto the bed with the book on it, and nudging it open with his head, Quickly scanning the contents page before finding the page he wanted Page 62 - Blood wearing off Nyx flipped through the pages until he got to page 62. Written on the page was:


Contrary to popular belief the blood a vampire drinks does not remain in his system forever, eventually it is broken down by the vampire's own blood neutralizing any effects the blood had good or bad, It can take up to 24 Hours For the foreign blood to be removed from the vampires system. The vampire can drink human blood to speed up the breaking down of the blood or the vampire can drink more of the blood to make the effects last longer.


Before Nyx could read this however he was picked up by jay and scolded for Clawing at his own furniture, Nyx let out a couple of annoyed Meows, he started Liking his situation even less than he thought he could
