Fantasy Lakoria High School

Emma's head turned at the sound of Leon's voice. "Oh hey, Leon," she said, weakly. As she heard him asking about what happened, she lifted up her arm. "Eh... It's nothing big, just a tear. I was lucky it didn't do more." She grinned at him. "Trust me, I'll be fine. I'm right handed, this shouldn't affect me at all. These guys are magical, I bet they'll fix anything in a second," she said, while sitting up. "Besides, I get to meet new people like this guy over here." She gestured to the boy next to her. "You don't need to worry about little old me." She gave him a thumbs up as she said it.

He looked at him, slightly puzzled but gripping the dumbfound confidence.


"Yeah... Respect."


Was all he could say before he sat back down and opened his laptop.


"Alright. As long as you stop trying to scare me with the vampire card. I've had worse."


He never planned for it to go this way either. Approaching with a sense of uneasiness was not on his agenda.
 
Columbus groaned and slowly got up, looking around to see he was in the nurses office, he put a hand to his head and tried to remember what happened, "Man, I feel like I was just hit by a truck...Must've fought a bear or something..." He then remembered the real reason he was there and frowned, "Oh wait...I passed out after carrying that guy, I'm pathetic." He turned to the sound of a conversation and raised an eyebrow, "So...You guys are in here for a cooler reason than me right?"

Leon shrugged, "I'm just here to make sure she didn't kill herself." he then turned to face the new person and raised a eyebrow, "What do you mean by a 'cooler reason' by the way?" Leon was a bit curious of what the person meant.

Benji came back to Starino's dorm and handed her a sharp stake and squeaked as starino tossed him a treat,"Woah BenBen where did you get this from;a vampire hunter are something" Starino said straightening her skirt and putting the stake in her backpack.Then she doubled over in pain,"Ohh the cut wound in my gut" Starino said getting up and going to the nurses office to get her wound healed and then find the boy to kick his but this time.
 
Columbus rubbed the back of his head, "Um... I just wanted to compare stories ya know? See how we got here...Yeah, that's it! I myself wrestled a bear, it got one good swipe in before I beat him, took out a chunk of my side....So I had to come here....Yep."

"Who said I was trying?" Nyx replied Cockily before sitting down again and allowing himself to get lost in his thoughts, His face taking on a Grim expression as his earlier Altercation With Jay started replaying in his head

Jay was curled up in a ball, arms around his legs. He looked up at the time. 1:30? Damn. I missed lunch too. He rocked back and forth. So Nyx... and me... well then. I mean, it's not like I don't like him, but why? We've barely even known each other for 4 days! He stood up, pacing around the dorm. I'm ok with it, but what are we supposed to do? Hold hands? Date? This is impossible to ignore now. I won't be able to look him in the eyes next time we meet... He sat back down again, and started thinking aloud. "Why me? Why now?"

Leon listened to the person and smirked,"Really? Huh, I'm guessing the bear tore into you with it's claws or massive teeth that could have easily take a bigger chunk than that. That's interesting, where is this bear now?" Leon couldn't tell whether the person was lying or not, but either way he was going to find out what happened.

Emma raised an eyebrow quizzically as she heard the boy's story. She saw them talking about bears. Ugh, she thought, rolling her eyes. Boys. She lay back on the bed, and directed a question to the boy next to her. "So, bear boy. What's your name?"

Leon smiled, "Really? I'd like to see it!" It was slowly starting to become more apparent that this person was lying. Leon thought he'd at least put on a show for the guy,"Nice to meet a fellow hunter. I remember tearing open a human before, they crossed my path while I was hunting...and let's just say that I was able to have dinner with my dad for a good week and a half." Of course, Leon would never do such a thing but he thought me might be able to scare him a little.

Columbus stared wide eyed at Leon and scooted away from him, "Um... I-I'll come clean...I just passed out when I carried someone up here....Please don't eat me, I'm dead, I won't taste good....My name is Columbus, I have a house and not much else! Please don't kill me!"

"Don't worry I'm not going to eat you!" Leon said as he began to laugh at Columbus. He then settled down a little bit and shook his head,"Next time don't try to lie to me like that." Leon then stood up, clearly towering over Columbus and merely smiled at him.

Nyx was brought out from his thoughts when he heard Ja'Zi "Nothing, don't worry about it" Nyx answered, his grim expression not changing and his voice devoid of any emotion

Columbus sighed of relief and took a breath, "Are you kidding me? Guys like me get eaten every other day, I've only gotten this far by ling." He finally relaxed and gave a small smile, "Anyways...I shared my name, you guys wanna share yours?"

"Aw, c'mon Leon, just lay offa him," Emma said, frowning. "This big jerk-on-a-horse here is Leon, and I'm Emma. It's a pleasure." She sat back up, addressing Columbus. "Just so you'll know, for like, further leverage, this guy ain't all tough." She pantomimed riding a horse. "One time, I actually rode him. Saddle and all that that funky stuff." She grinned mischievously.

At the mention of 'friends' Nyx's expression became more gloomy "I already told you not to worry about it, So just drop it" Nyx replied trying to sound threatening but failing as his voice became filled with sadness

Leon suddenly turned to Emma and lifted her along with the bed with one hand as he brought Emma to eye level,"What was that about me not being as tough as I look?" He then dropped the bed and turned to Columbus,"No, not unless you want to see if you stay concious after two hooves to the head."
