(@metalcity Ahahahaha... surprisingly that didn't seem too gory when I visualized it in my head but wow, impressive description! And she's the principal, not the teacher)
The principal was silent as she passed her hand over the orb again, making the images fade away. She leaned her forehand onto her clasped hands and rocked back and forth in her chain before exhaling in a long breath.
"I cannot tell you what I don't know. As of know, I know only as much as you do from seeing that vision. This 'justice' they speak of, however, I'm afraid we will find out soon in the future."
She passed her hand over the orb again and the image of a large winged devil in the middle of a burning village was shown on the glass surface. The devil was holding the severed head of a woman in one hand and was walking causally toward a crying infant buried in debris. He looked down at the infant with a dark smile, showing his sharp teeth. He lifted his other hand and brought it down, through the infant's chest, pulling out its tiny beating heart. The infant screamed once, and fell silent. The devil threw the head away and ripped the infant into halves, throwing the corpse behind him like it was trash. An ugly laughter rang throughout the silent village. The image began to fade but the sound remained, seeming to echo around them rather than within the orb.
"A few years earlier, this was the image that the crystal ball showed me. A red devil who called himself the master of the universe appeared and led the entire world to utter chaos. All the countries in the entire world united to fight against this monster, but they stood no chance with their cannons and explosives. A hydrogen bomb was dropped once as a last resort but not a single scratch was dealt. At this point, humans and creatures alike began to view the devil as the end of the world. Those who wanted power sided with the devil, exchanging their souls for a rebirth as a demon. Those were the foolish ones that lost meaningless lives..."
She paused for a while to calm her beating heart. She had been to such a future before and the horrors of it left her filled with fear and dread at the memory.
"But not all hope was lost." She looked up at Enki with a small smile full of awe. "There were rumors of a legendary group that had appeared out of nowhere, striking down pieces of the devil's forces at a frightening speed. Every monster the devil sent to destroy these heroes were one-by-one destroyed themselves. Those who had lost the will to fight began to be inspired by these heroes to once again raise their weapons and charge into battle against the devil. The people began to call these heroes, Akuta, the ones who fight evil. And you, will become one of them."

On the bed, Shina was pretending to be asleep still. She had been woken up by Enki's outburst but couldn't find a chance to be noticed without interrupting the conversation the two were having. She laid there in shock as her brain struggled to understand what she had just heard. She struggled to see the images on the crystal ball without being found out. But when she finally managed a glance at the ball, she was unable to peel her eyes away at the figure in the midst of the destruction.
It was her worse nightmare. The very devil she had sent back into the Underworld was now laughing at her through the glassy surface. His eyes seemed to bore into her, as if he was taunting her about her futile attempt to destroy him.
I will be back! And when I return, you will be the first to die by my hands, little girl!
Biting her lips to stop the scream bubbling up from her throat, she ripped her eyes away from the images. The cold laughter of the devil swam around her, causing her to break out in cold sweat. She closed her eyes and tried to erase the images from her head, but with no such luck.
