"The poor kid's blind or somethin'." The Officer muttered to his partner, taking the child's hand and leading her towards the police car.
"You're making a big mistake." Jolie cautioned, her hands still raised
"Says the woman who kidnapped a child." The other Officer scoffed "Yeah right, just stay right where you are. I won't hesitate to empty this entire round into you. People like you make me sick." He spoke in a serious, grim tone. He aimed the gun towards Jolie's head.
Lowering her arms only agitated the Officer more. The gun was a standard police sidearm, it would have at least ten bullets Jolie thought. But if she rushed the officer he would not have the time to fire all of them. He fired a warning shot as Jolie lowered her arms more, landing next to her feet.
She dashed forwards, doding three more shots the officer fired before lunging at him, grabbing his arm and wrestling the gun from his hand. He yelled in pain as she tossed him to the side.
"We need backup!" The other cop shouted into his radio "We have a-."
"This is for your own good." Jolie said, shaking her head and avoiding eye-contact with the cop "I'm sorry it had to be this way."
The officer who Jolie had thrown to the side reached for another gun attatched to his belt and fired. Jolie dodged the shot, only to realise that the bullet was heading towards the other cop's head. She quickly dived in front of the bullet, taking it to her forehead and being thrown to the ground.
"Sorry you had to see that sweetheart." He older cop said to Rumia, standing to his feet with a glum look in his eyes "But it's over now, you're safe." He slowly approached her, resting a hand on her shoulder.

As Rumia was guided into the police car by the older cop, she witnessed the woman she had played danmaku with earlier get hit by the man in the blue clothes' "metal danmaku". Rumia was gradually getting used to the loud noises those devices on their hands emitted, so they didn't make her jump as much as Jolie's had at first.
The youkai woman fell to the ground and didn't move. Was she admitting defeat? Rumia saw the bullet hit her in the face, so that must have meant the man in the blue suit won.
Rumia sat in the back-seat of the vehicle. The old man said some words to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. Now that Rumia was in some shade, she decided not to squint her eyes anymore. She saw the same kind of device at the officer's hip, and she had many questions about it. Did these two use danmaku, too? If that was the case, Rumia couldn't eat them, despite her currently large appetite. She really wanted to go back to that place with the cow meat...
"Do you guys play danmaku, too? Those things that make the loud noises are really strange."
An odd question coming from a child who would have just witnessed a killing.
Rumia lifted out her hand towards the wall of the building near the alley and nonchalantly fired some flashy danmaku bullets at the brick wall, causing some of it to cave inward. It would have been a good demonstration for anyone normally.
"Can I see that?" Rumia asked curiously as she immediately tried to grab the sidearm from the policeman's holster.
