Fandom Into the fire (1x1 MzHyde/Gallifrog)

Kay nodded listening to him. She had to have trust that what he said was true and that it may not even be the truth she told them. Which if that was the case, she felt like she would have wasted a question and still not get anywhere with Rinaa. It didn't go amiss either that it was her future self's fault, Rinaa was raised off world and here on Attil. She just didn't say anything because she didn't want to say it out loud. When he spoke up again, she listened to what his opinion was, if she was any other kind of woman, she'd wonder if he felt just obligated to be with here because of the bond, but luckily she wasn't that type and knew what they had was real.

When he finished with how stubborn he was, she couldn't help but smirk slightly. "You're right...I'm just being stupid...pregnant hormones or something messing with me" she replied, trying to convince herself that was the case, and that future her could indeed be changed. She really didn't want to be the evil one in their group. Kay pulled away from hugging him slightly, but kept an arm around his waist. She then felt rain start to drop on her as the weather came in as predicted. Which meant she'd need to get down whilst it was dry enough to.

"Yeah, they're certainly not helping matters at all. And besides, I've seen the future changed before, so the kid is right about that." John felt the rain too, a single drop landed on his nose and began to work its way down his face. The sky had darkened to the original purple black colour of Elliott's eye. It was bets to get going. The three runners were a good while off, but even they had begun to speed up, knowing that a downpour was coming. They stayed evenly paced, but as soon as the downpour started they would change from steady to a sprint finish in order to minimise their soakage. "We should head in, before we get soaked, they get really awful monsoon like weather here."

He made his way back down and in, heading for the fridge to see what exactly was there that was edible. He no wknew why the fridge and cupboards were fully stocked, there was a doctor in the house, who would definitly get on Kay's case about eating enough. Shortly after Kay herself came in, the skies literally opened, and the apartment was filled with the sound of the rain bouncing off the roof. It fell in sheets, and reminded John of London somewhat. "One thing I didn't miss was this weather." Elliott remarked from his position on the couch.

Kay just had to not let go of her hope. It had never failed her before, so she had to believe it wouldn't fail her now or in the future. Pulling away from John properly, she noticed how the three runners rapidly sped up to get in before they got too soaked. "Right.." she replied, not wanting to be outside if that was how bad it it got. It wouldn't be healthy for either of them, but certainly her. Last thing she needed was to get sick. She followed him down and back inside into the dry.

Seeing John head into the kitchen and look in the fridge, she suddenly realised she hadn't even given food a second thought since waking up. She got herself the drink earlier but didn't even think about eating. Part of her just wanted to sit on the couch, but she had a hunch if she did and Cliff came in to find she hadn't eaten, she'd get a bollocking. The sound of the rain hitting the apartment roof was strangely soothing to Kay, like it was back at John's that night. She smirked at Elliott's comment about it, "yeah..but at least we're not out in it" she replied, heading into the kitchen.

"True that, its worse than the regular London shite. Luckily it doesn't happen that often at three latitudes, this particularly bad stuff is cos its the turn of the season, and some weird gravitational interaction between the rings, moons and sun." He explained, directing the explanation at a Chas more so than anybody else. "There was always talk of making tunnels so the rain could be avoided. Wonder if that ever happened." Elliott mused aloud. "Kind of" The teenager wrinkled her nose slightly before adding to her remark, seeing that Elliott's interest was piqued. "They made a start on a tunnel network six years ago, but then there was an awful collapse, with fatalities. Now they're officially abandoned and decommissioned." "And unofficially?"

"Smugglers tunnels, or the places you go into on a drunken dare." Rinaa explained. John leaned against the kitchen table, with a plate containing some pancakes, that he recognised as Elliott's work. "So the equivilant of the gorge bridge? You know the one I mean, with the weird dragon statue thing." "Yup, but the gorge is still used, it's still the place for free climbing and flying around with jet boots or blades to terrify the living shite out of yourself." Seeing that nobody except Elliott knew what she was talking about the teenager (with Elliott butting in) added further explaining that the groge in question was one of the mountain gaps where a river had been diverted for irrigation. There had been a bridge across, but it was damaged and broke. Now the area was a spot for thrill seeking that wasn't totally legal, but has never been explicitly classified as illegal either.

Kay found what Elliott said interesting as she looked around to find something to eat, before noticing the plate of pancakes. She listened to the conversation going on that Rinaa had now contributed to after Elliott's musing. Hearing that smugglers and rebellious kids used the abandoned tunnels. It seemed like it didn't matter where you were in the universe, there's always be those people that would find a way in to somewhere they shouldn't be.

She grabbed a fork and plate and stole a pancake whilst she was had the chance, before debating on eating anything else. She could cook, and she normally would but she just wanted the ease of grabbing food and not preparing it. She felt lazy for once. She leaned against the counter, and the moment she took the first bite, she knew they were done by Elliott because of how good they were. As the fellow cook in John's apartment, she had learned to distinguish Elliott's food as she curious how different and similar his cooking was to hers.

Elliott noticed the two were eating the food he'd made, and had to smile. He'd just left them in a fridge as a free for all, seeing that he should to something for his sister, considering how much they wee doing (and paying for). "There should be some dark chocolate chip ones at the back of the fridge." Another little known fact about John was his preference for dark chocolate, and there had been dark chocolate chips at the back of the cupboard. Being up early once again (as he only needed four hours of sleep) he'd wanted something to keep him busy. So he'd ransacked the cupboards and made copious amounts of pancakes, some plain, some with extras. And once the early risers (everybody except John and Kay) came looking for food, he directed them to the fridge. "Don't get your hopes up John, there aren't any left." Rinaa had a slightly sheepish look on her face. "I miiiight have eaten, like all of them. They were really good though."

At that moment the door banged open and Cal's voice loudly announced their arrival. "It is completly and utterly pissing out there!" "I'm not arguing with that in any way. It should be illegal to have that much rain in one go." Jay agreed whole heartedly. She and Cal were completly soaked, their hair and running gear plastered to them. The water was dripping onto the floor where they stood. Drowned rats had never been more applicable. "Oh quit your bitching, it's not that bad." Cliff smirked, her clothes were wet, as was her hair, but her skin was perfectly dry. "Shut up Cliff, just because you have this immunity to getting wet cos you grew up on a waterworld, doesn't mean I do." There was no malice or annoyance in Cal's tone when she spoke.

Kay kept eating, deciding if she lived for the next six months on Elliott's pancakes, she'd very happy, but she also knew if she wasn't moaned at by John for not eating properly whilst carrying his kid, then Fee most definitely would. The moment Elliott said about dark chocolate pancakes, it even made her ready to dive in but then Rinaa all but broke her heart by saying she ate them all which made her pout. "Ell, if you make me these pancakes for the next six months, I will love you forever" she joked.

When the other three walked in, she saw the sorry drowned state of two of them and smirked at the little 'lovers tiff' going on that was obviously spoken with love and not malice. It honestly reminded her of how her and John jibe at each other. It really did feel like to her that they all had that little factor in common.

Elliott watched the banter between the three with an amused look. Jay and Cal really had been caught out in the worst of it, and he remembered just how awful it was. The 'argument' descended into Attili, abut the premise was obvious, Cliff was claiming that her future wife was just jealous of this natural ability, while Cal was denying such a fact. The two headed to the upper level to change out of the wet stuff. Cal had been temped to wring out gr t-shirt onto her brother, but that would have only succeeded in getting the couch wet. Jay had no claim on any of the bedrooms, so she headed for the bathroom.

"Yeah, I can do that, I charge a flat rate of fifty an hour, and I also do catering and package deals" Elliott joked back in response to Kay's praise of his pancakes. "I can offer you a shitty flat in London, a House that travels through space and continued ownership of my guitar." "Sounds like a deal to me." Elliott smirked, before Chas joined in on the banter. "I'll do ye one better, my continued services as personal taxi."

Kay smirked at the banter going on before the three girls left to get dried off and changed. If Jay hadn't of left so quickly, she would have offered her to change in the room that her and John claimed. When Elliott joked back she laughed and smirked, ready to come out with a come back but John beat her to it. The banter between them all really starting to improve her mood considerably. She usually found just a change of subject and tone did wonders for her, and it would have to be really bad for it to not work.

She laughed at Chas upping the deal by offering his continued services as personal cabbie. "And I'm sticking to my offer of respect and appreciation for the food. I'm afraid I'll be too bogged down growing a being inside me to offer up anything else" She grinned in a cheeky manner, whilst putting on that fake 'oh life is so hard' exsperated tone.

"Hmmm, tempting, and useful." They were all thoroughly enjoying themselves with this, the mood lightening in contrast with the awfulness of the weather outside. "Anybody got anything to beat that?" Elliott asked as a joke. Rinaa smirked. "As a matter of fact, yes. Catch!" She pulled out a small black notebook from her pocket and to threw it to Elliott, who caught it, examined it, and started laughing. He knew exactly who it belonged to. It belonged to him, and that was evident to all by his reaction. It was his own miniature sketchbook, which he rarely used back on Earth, but carried around anyway. It had been more beneficial to have in the cell. "Nicked it yesterday. Long story as to why, but it involves an idiot friend and a bet."

That didn't phase Elliott at all, he'd done many things for stupid bets, as John and Chas could attest to. "What else are idiot friends for if not making bets and landing you in the shit?" "Free food?" "That too." He agreed, before tossing the sketchbook back. "Keep it, its mainly just random doodles anyway." At that there were a million different emotions and thoughts going through Rinaa's head at the moment. The most prominent was that all this shite had really been worth it.

Kay was evidently happier and when Rinaa said she could beat her offer, she got curious. She watched Rinaa throw Elliott a little black book and as an artist she recognised it as a mini sketch book straight away, even though she didn't really know he ever kept one, but the way he reacted it was obvious to her, that it was indeed his. She made a mental note that she really ought to do the same thing. She did it at university but of course like the rest of her books, it was left behind.

She eavesdropped on the conversation and didn't get surprised that Rinaa stole it. Kay had come to learn that's just who she was and if Rinaa was in prison for a while, then stealing was no doubt the least of things she had no doubt done. She put the fork and plate down, finding she was full after about three pancakes. Whoever said women eat enough for two people when they're pregnant was a damn liar in her eyes.

2038

In The House, the young girl was in the library surrounded by many books and parchments, along with pieces of paper and a pen. "Okay...so..." She muttered to herself, using the pen to doodle on the plain piece of paper as a practice run a few times a rune that was different to any of the ones that already sat down her bare arms. She needed to get it exact or it wouldn't work. That, and she was a damn perfectionist. She knew whilst at her current location she was safe, but that wasn't the case for everyone and she didn't have much time...a few days if that. If she could perfect the rune and fully understand the scribblings of her cousin, she could give herself more time and stop the inevitable.

John started laughing slightly whne he realised who the book belonged to, and his smile stayed with the interaction between the two. Elliott didn't give away his sketchbooks easily, but the fact he had done it so willingly. And made it out not to be a big deal spoke volumes about who he was. At times like this, John could see that Elliott had turned out a good person, with a kind heart. Jay had also seen this action. At some time she had appeared and was making herself a mug of hot chocolate, nobody had noticed her arrival, she'd long ago mattered the art of moving soundlessly. If she was being heard it was because she wanted to be. She was leaning against the counter top regarding the exchange with a fond smile and light eyes. Chas had begun to notice that her eyes portrayed her emotional state, the lighter they were, the happier she was.

"I wouldn't laugh too hard John" the teenager continued, and threw a wallet in his direction. "You didn't notice this was gone either." John looked both pissed and astonished that she'd gotten the drop on him, trying to think of when he'd have been close enough for the teenager to swipe it, and was turning up a blank. "Well damn, that's slick." He tucked it away, this time in an internal pocket.

Kay had no doubt about the kind of person Elliott was. Yet even she could tell what a big deal it was for him to just hand a sketchbook over, something so personal like that, so willingly. It was only when Kay heard the makings of a drink being made that she noticed Jay reappear looking much drier than moments ago. She too saw how much lighter Jay's eyes had gotten and just how much happier she was in general. Kay figured people would have to be blind to not see the difference in Jay.

When Rinaa told John not too laugh too hard, her interest got piqued once more and she burst into laughter when she saw his wallet get thrown over to him. Never did she think someone would get one over on the great John Constantine, and here Rinaa proved her wrong. "Damn!" She laughed. She was glad she only had her phone in her jacket pocket and nothing else.

Just as things were relaxing, a few sparks of golden hue began to appear in the hallway, forming a circular shape, before a figure jumped out of it and dusted themselves off, and closing the portal from behind them. A large cotton hood covered most of their face, but fully, a tiny strand of both orange and blonde hair just poking through, a leather jacket layered over the top of the hooded cardigan, and dark jeans that were clearly meant to be black but had weathered over time, a thigh bag attached to the belt.

Chas found the look on John's face hilarious. His mate liked to think he was invincible sometimes, but here was this teenager showing him up. He also wondered if he too had been targeted "Should I be checking my important stuff too kid?" She shook her head, befire answering with a half smile. "No, it's just those two, but if you want I'm sure I can find the opportunity to nick something of yours too." She offered raising an eyebrow and flexing her fingers backwards to show her readiness to do such a thing. Her hands were double jointed. "Thanks, but it's a hard pass on that." Chas answered. Drink made, Jay sat herself at the kitchen table, and leaned back towards the wall.

Cal and Cliff remeremged, both looking drier. Cal had figured out how to use pyrokinesis to evaporate off the majority of the water. They'd both changed into regular jeans and t-shirt, though Cal's bore a noticeable burn mark in the side from when it caught fire on the forge. A long story. "Don't get too comfortable brother, we do have to let Deke out of the cell at some point. He is one of the top engineers around."

Kay chuckled when Rinaa offered to steal from Chas and he replied with a hard pass. The upside to not fully getting on with Rinaa was that Kay knew she was pretty much safe from her wanting to steal from Kay. She glanced across when Cal and Cliff reappeared and mentioned to Elliott about not getting too comfortable. She actually felt bad for this Deke guy being left in the cell pretending to be Elliott.

The figure walked through Cal's hallway and I to the living room to find them all there. "well this just got more interesting" she thought to herself, before they noticed Rinaa there which surprised her greatly. Glancing around she tried to pinpoint everyone, before making herself heard. "Where's John and Kay?" She spoke up, pulling down her hood to reveal her face. Bright blue eyes with grey hues, and bright orange hair with blonde highlights.

At the sound of unknown footsteps everybody spun around and in less than three seconds, five of the people had armed themselves. It wasn't even a conscious thought or an order that was issued, it was an instinct they all had programmed into them. After those three seconds there at least ten different weapons being pointed at the intruder.

Jay had reacted first, no great surprise to anybody. She was the assassin after all. She had whipped out blade from seemingly nowhere. She was barefoot, dressed in a t-shirt and loose trousers, and there was no visable bulges to suggest a concealed weapon. Yet she had somehow managed to conceal weapons on herself. Her blades flipped into her hands, and two snapped over to Elliott without a conscious thought. Just as instinctively, Elliott reached up and plucked them out of the air. A testimony to just how well they had each others backs when it was needed.

That same partnership was shown in Cliff and Cal. The former grabbed a sword from the rack, tossing it to her wife, who had lit her non-dominant hand alight with fire. Cliff then took, nocked and aimed her own bow. They'd had many inruders break in, and one memorable time, a burglar who had no idea whose flat he was trying to rob. So when a masked person appeared in their apartment, they were sure as hell going to point weapons first, then ask questions.

The fifth person to arm was Rinaa. She'd managed to conceal a sword under her loose hoodie. The sheath ran vertically up her back, and could be annoying, but it allowed for easy access at time such as this. She held the sword in her left hand, like Elliott she was left hand dominant. At the same time, the claws on her right hand popped out, the sleek curves bursting from between her fingers. Her fangs became visible too. She didn't recognise the figure at first, and just like everybody else, was on instant fuck we're being attacked mode. When the hood came down, her eyes narrowed. "Why the fuck are you here?" She retaliated back. This was not part of her plan. Not in the slightest. Why was she here? What possible bloody motives could she have to screw this up for me? Why couldn't she just let me have this one thing for myself? Has everybody else copped on to what I'm doing, and is she here to bring me back? Rinaa thought angrily.

The figure smirked at the way they all went onto attack and defense mode. The stories were true it seemed. When Rinaa finally recognised her she turned to her, "Hey Wolfie" she simply replied. "And why I'm here is nothing to do with you." She explained, not in a malicious manner, but in that 'for once I'm not having to pick up the pieces or drag your ass back from sneaking out' tone. "I just need John and Kay" she spoke once more. As she glanced around the room she recognised Elliott and knew the stance well.

Kay stepped out to see everyone on guard and aiming weapons at a teenager. She would have stayed back but when her name got mentioned twice now, she had to go see who it was that wanted them. "What do you want with us?" She asked. "That's for a private conversation" the girl replies, her tone a lot softer when speaking with Kay. She was still taking in that she actually managed arrive back in time and onto another planet. "Guys..lower the weapons" Kay said, wanting to walk up to the kid, feeling like something was so familiar about her.

The whole room took in a collective breath at the nickname. They couldn't tell if it was meant in malice or not. Rinaa took it as an insult. "Don't call me that." Rinaa almost snarled the words out, she was beyond pissed. After everything that had happened, everything she was going through, the monster growing inside her, that nickname was still used. Did Fia even know how it felt like a dagger to the heart to hear it? The constant reminder it was to her of what was going on, how no matter what she did, it was futile. "You really don't have any respect do you?" She stepped forwards, stopping about a metre away from Fia.

"After everything that's happened, and everything that will." She stepped forwards, her eyes burning with anger and something else that showed just how sick of everything she was right now. Chas could see that she was turning self destructive, just like John would. "What is the bloody point? To rub salt in the wounds? Well bloody congratulations, you've succeeded." She turned away, grabbed the guitar case and headed to the door leaving with the words. "I'm sick of this shit!"

Elliott and Jay reacted first, jumping up to follow her. "John, when whatever this gets worked out, call me, yeah?" John nodded. "Call us if she does anything stupid, pretty sure she's having a suicidal break." The last part was spoken it Attili, Elliott and Jay both nodded, before leaving, following in Rinaa's wake. Cal and Cliff didn't lower their weapons just yet, but the latter passed something to Jay on the way out. Cal and Cliff wouldn't lower their weapons until they were sure their intruder didn't have malicious intent. John had this feeling based on Rinaa's explosive outburst, that he knew exactly who the intruder was.

Fia realised out of nowhere she fucked up. She remembered reading about Rinaa's timely upcoming death and the nickname just slipped out of her mouth without thinking. She stared Rinaa dead in the eye when Rinaa gave her a massive lecture, saying about having no respect. She would have replied but before she could, Rinaa stormed off. She knew at this point this first impression her brother would have of her, is that she's the chick that tipped Rinaa possibly over the edge. "Shit..." Was all she muttered under breath. Fia looked as the others refused to lower their weapons.

"For the sake of everyone in the room, whatever you have to say, you can say here and now." Kay told Fia, not knowing who she was, as the shock of her just turning up and Rinaa's explosive reaction to the girl made her not fully think straight. Fia sighed, folding her arms across her chest, and standing with her feet shoulder width apart, one knee slightly bent. An exact copy of how Kay would stand when she wasn't in the mood for anyone's shit. "Fine...hi mom...dad" she finally said, looking between Kay and John. "So, can the weapons be lowered now?"

Chas's first thought was that he needed to get new, less crazy friends with no time-travelling children. Which made him paranoid that his own daughter was going to appear out of thin air. "If any of my family somehow appear here, I think I'll have a mental breakdown." He muttered. Cliff lip read the statement and nodded in agreement to it. At the statement of Fia, declaring who she was, they lowered the weapons and reshelved them. "Before any other time-travelling family members arrive, I'm going to leave." Cliff declared. "Same here, somebody has to break it to Deke that he's stuck in the cell for the foreseeable future." Cal agreed. And there was no way in Hells Chas was staying in the apartment. "Oh I'm coming with you guys, I'll make friends with Dan or something, he seems the most normal person I've met so far."

It was no secret that they all wanted to get as far away from this situation as possible. Though they did leave with strict instructions to not to destroy the flat and keep them updated, the numbers were on the pinboard. John of course really needed a I'm uncultured right now. He didn't even want to know why his daughter had time travelled to see them, but it couldn't be good. His fingers tapped against his crossed arm to stave off the impulse to pull out a I'm uncultured and pollute his lungs. "As far a sintroductions go, that couldn't have really gone worse."

Fia watched as Cal, Cliff and Chas all got awkward and felt desperate to leave. She couldn't help but smirk though at Chas' comment about his own family. There was no chance of that in Fia's knowledge but she wasn't going to say anything, as Cliff said about leaving as did Cal and then eventually Chas. Kay looked on shocked at the introduction, did she seriously just hear that right? She was JUST getting used to being pregnant with Fia and now she was meeting her grown up?!

"Yeah...I kinda fucked up...the nickname just came out and I totally forgot it'd set her off...so that's my bad. I'll apologise later..if she lets me" Fia replied. Kay walked up to her and circled her, taking in her appearance, before standing still infront of her. "Fia?" Kay wanted clarification. "Yes mom it's me." Kay was wrapping her head around it. Fia certainly had a mix of both of their eyes and hair. She found herself stroking her hand through Fia's locks, noticing the blonde highlights.

John really didn't think Rinaa would be willing to forgive or forget so quickly. It was obvious she held grudges for a long time. And with him putting his foot in it and making her think back on her own suicide attempt, he was beginning to fear he'd triggered a relapse of sort. She had mentioned in an off hand way back on the ship that she suffered from depression, self loathing and suicidal feelings, all side effects of being terminal. The fact that he had his future standing in front of him wasn't affecting as much as it was Kay. He was feeling pretty numb to it, probably due to the sheer shock and ridiculousness of his life at that particular moment. It would kick in later like a particularly vicious hangover.

But for now he was far more level headed than he expected. "I don't think she'll accept it though, considering I might have accidently triggered a relapse when I put me foot in it and found out about her suicide attempt." He had no idea how much Fia knew about her cousin, so maybe he shouldn't have said that. But it was out. "Before me head explodes with everything, care to explain why you're here?" The last part was asked out of curiosity, and wanting a bloody straight answer for once. And he still needed a I'm uncultured.

Kay also didn't think that Rinaa would accept the apology so easily. The fact that Rinaa still held a grudge against her for her future self's actions, proved to her she wouldn't take Fia's apology easily. Fia swatted Kay's hand away so she could reply to John. Kay looked at John when he spoke to Fia and wondered how he could be so calm over it.

"Right...I read about that. As for why I'm here? That's why I wanted the chat privately...." She began saying, not really sure how to go about it, but she knew her dad always wanted straight answers. "I've come back because I saw no other choice...I've looked through so much to find other options but I can't. So here I am. Demons get mom, and it's been weeks." Fia explained, not wanting to freak out Kay but there was no other way to say it. She knew she could come back as it would gain her some more time to figure things out and get help, she also knew they were her. "Not to mention that they know I'm your kid and want me to get to you. I managed to stall for time, and coming back gave me extra time on top but yeah...you lose mom" she added.

For once a straight answer was given, it didn't mean he was happy about said answer, but at least he knew more than he'd known earlier. He was starting to wonder if death was the only reason for time travel. It was two deaths- her own and Elliott's- that had made Rinaa travel back, and now his kid was doing it for the same reason. It seemed bloody typical that no matter what happened, no matter how hard he tried, somebody or something always got to the people he cared about. But now wasn't the time to wallow in self pity. His kid was here with a problem that needed solving. And for once it involved something he knew-demons.

He ran a hand through his hair with a sigh of "ahhh bollocks." The movement of his hands disguised the look of I really hate my life right now that passed over his face. His face returned to normal, albeit more determined. "When exactly does this happen, why and how. And is there any particular reason these demons want you to get to me, or it just the usual bullshit. And how long do you have before your absence is noticed?" Chas would probably have known, how to ask the questions in a less blunt answer, but he was Chas. This was John and his methods of dealing with things.

,

Hearing the news of why she had come back, made Kay sit down on the end of the couch. Of course demons would come after her yet again, but why how many years later? It made no sense to her. She did not need to be hearing this on top of what she was told earlier on in the day. She had only just got her mood lifted and now her daughter was bringing her mood down again. She glanced between both of them as John took in the information and replied to it.

Fia wasn't surprised by the way John had asked the questions, she was used to it. "I'll start with the easy one, they want me because of who I am, half mage half pheonix. Mom being older, isn't enough for them anymore and they know I'm your kid, which means I'm bloody good bait in their eyes. They figure you'll be more enraged if they take me. So the usual BS in a lot of ways." She started to explain. "When does it happen? For me in my time it was three weeks ago. They had been on and off trying to get to us for years, but couldn't. Your warding worked to keep us safe. But mom went out on her own and they found the opportunity. She was so close to home, and they cornered her.. our bonds went berserk by the time we got to her location she was gone." She continued, before answering the last bit, "as for how long I got before anyone notices I'm gone? Not sure at all. You're too focused on trying to find mom from inside The House. Which thanks to its library, is how I managed to buy time by learning a spell to create a fake me that's reading in there and find out how to bypass all the security and antimagic crap of this planet to get here" she finished.
