"Ye-Yeah, ok!" Miley said, her rifle turninglés back to the short spear. She picked Layla up with ease, and back away, getting closer to Tallah."Sorry twerp, I dont think he can hear you," Miley said, "Just, help the dying girl, don't worry I'll keep an eye on him," She said. @SnugglyKnight @Delacare

"Oh hey!" Miley lowered her rifle for a split second,  "It's the giant lady! Hi!" She waved, before raising her gun again. "You really should leave! Mac isn't gonna let you get outta hear unscathed!" She shouted, trying to avoid a fight.

With a muffled voice, she replied, "Fire melts ice, but water puts out fire, doesn't it?" Her voice was painstakingly weak, so in return, the justifications for her actions were also inadequate. Niklaus turned her attention to to the gunman, giving her a nod of acknowledgment. Every one of the people around her were fairly memorable, all from today; the person who had teleported them away wasn't near, however, and the giantess wondered if he would pop up and give the pair another disadvantage. "She has a point," she muttered, "I'm here.. I can handle a little heat." That was a lie, but hey, anything she had to do to ensure Magnus's safety was something she'd do. Although she didn't know the crocodile for long, she had no doubt that she'd risk her life to save him. If it weren't for his acceptance, she wouldn't try as hard to protect him, but already, she was grateful for the crocodile's existence. Pushing herself off of the tree, she tore the other glove she wore, ready to defend herself to the mildest of her abilities.. Mild because, of course, it's not as if she'd be able to hurt a fly like this, but in the very least, she could try. Her eyes were glued onto the firey-man, waiting for his move; however, she felt pity for him at the same moment, knowing that the person in his arms had to be immensely special to him.

Mac's head swung towards the crocodile man, his eyes a blazing orange. He looked over at Miley and spoke in a deep, and strange voice. "Call for Tallah... Get her out of here..." He said, as he gently set Lyla down.

As soon as she was out of his hands, his clenched fists went up in flames. His beard and hair seemed to dissolve, and a streak of fire lit up on his head. His shirt burned and crackled away, as well as the rest of his skin becoming the texture and look of volcanic rock. Every step he took, and every place where his bare foot touched the ground,  the green, lively grass burned to a crisp.

"You... you hurt her... you killed her..." He said in a deep, echoing voice.

Magnus wanted to fight this thing so badly, so badly it hurt. But he told someone something, he had told her that he would protect her. He noticed Miley trying to avoid a fight, and now the new-comers were here. He had to get Niklaus out of here before she died, to protect him. He didnt need protecting! He hissed in irritation at this situation and turned toward Niklaus. He snatched her in his arms, his muscle-mass able to shield her from any on-coming attacks that might be thrown, and he ran the opposite way of the fight.

Tallah would have snapped at the pointy eared goddess if his attention wasn't already on Lyla. Kneeling next to her, he channeled his healing magic into the girl with absolute concentration. She was slipping into the next world. The croco-gator's teeth had partially gouged out her heart and lungs. Immediately knitting her organs and flesh back together, Tallah tried to keep her spirit from stepping over the threshold. Unfortunately, Lyla's body was resisting him. Tree and Sky guide me! Tallah's eyes blazed emerald as he channeled even more power.

Surrounded by the newcomers, Niklaus wondered how her partner and herself would get out alive, but with Magnus's actions, it seemed she didn't have to worry about that. The sudden movement made the ill woman close to vomiting either the blood, bile, or the mixture that she had been holding back before. Her hands scrambled to cover her mouth, yet she began to feel as if she was close to unconsciousness. She'd need rest, and that wasn't something that was available to her here. Hardly audible, she murmured, "Croc, stop.."

"You know, it is far too hard to ignore the shift in Fate when so many unique people gather up in one spot for a showdown. See, there Tallah, I told you Mac-imize would be here. Oh, they don't look too good." Garren stepped through a portal with Tallah in tow. He took in the scene spread out before him cooly. "Are we interrupting something?" He crossed his arms as Tallah set eyes on Lyla and Mac.

"Mac!" Tallah rushed over to the two. He was streaming a river of emerald healing energy as he approached the two, but only got so far before the heat Mac was putting off kept him from getting any closer. Throwing up an icy shield and calling forth a light snowfall to contain the heat, Tallah called out to get the burning man's attention. "Mac! Let me get closer! I can help her! Mac, wake-up!"

Finally piecing together a vague understanding of what had happened here, Garren stood back equidistant from the two parties keeping his arms crossed. "I'm not usually an expert in tense situations, but maybe everyone should just back down. You all are obviously powerful, and I'd rather not have to evacuate the surrounding settlements just so you can brawl." Leave it to Garren to chuck cringe into a tense situation.

Mac looked over at Tallah with his hollow and un-feeling eyes. They were not the loving ones he usually had when he usually saw him. "You may take her." He said with the strange voice.

Mac was not done with Magnus. Before the crocodile could stop, Mac appeared from out of nowhere before he grabbed him by the throat, his grip as tight as an iron vice. Tossing Niklaus aside with his free hand, his face came closer the other god's.

"You deserve death, crocodile. You have killed many. All of them leaving behind a grieving family. You deserve to rot in hell." Mac bellowed, his free hand starting to glow a bright orange. "But, I will give you another chance... A reminder to change your ways." As he finished, he plunged his index finger, middle finger, and thumb into his eye. After a sickening sound of sizzling, and burning, he pulled it out.

"Reform your ways, Croc. Or I will kill you next time."

Magnus hissed, he wasnt used to getting man-handled like this. He snarled at Mac, his tail ready to smash into the guy's side before his eye was burned out of his skull. He roared in pain, not to mention the hand he was being gripped with was on fire. So that hurt. He swiped at Mac's face, now half blind. But what he said concerning anything about what had just happened was, "Dont touch her" He snarled, meaning Niklaus.

Tossed aside as if she was useless, which she technically was at this point, Niklaus's body crashed into a tree. It allowed the blood she was holding back to be spat out onto the ground, the amount being larger than she originally suspected. She wasn't entirely sure what happened inside her body when in heat like this, but she could easily assume that it wasn't well, anyone could really.. Perhaps tit was organ failure, as if her entire system was shutting down. The heat radiating from the man was unbearable, unrealistically painful. A sharp gasp escaped her lips much like the blood, and her eyes darted downwards at her arm to get a glimpse at the culprit: flames tearing through her clothes, reaching her pale skin. Niklaus couldn't hear herself think. In fact, she was sure that she couldn't think. It was burning through her right arm, her bad arm, into the other side of the previous wound. After it reached her bone, there would be no skin in the area left, and it was obvious that it'd never come back. She heard nothing but static, but she was sure she was screaming. Niklaus wasn't aware of the events going on around her, eyes completely glued to the flickering fire that ate at her skin. It showed no traces of stopping anytime soon.

"I have no intention of touching her. She has done nothing wrong." Mac said solemnly. He reached out and ceased the flame. Then, he peered into the eye of the crocodile. "Do not worry. She will heal soon enough. and remember.. I am watching you.."

And just like that, he was gone.

Magnus hated that we was just weak, he was the weakest opponent ever faced. That put him to shame, but he had other pressing matters to worry about. He will care about his eye later. He got to Niklaus, seeing the burns. He snarled in anger, he did this. That... Thing! Wait, he smelled the scent of divine... Was it not just a human? He didnt know how to help, since he's never done such a thing before. "Niklaus?"

After quite the struggle, Tallah was able to pull Lyla back from the edge,  but he couldn't get her to fully heal nor into even a stable condition. Reducing the healing output Tallah looked up in time to catch Mac's empty but fiery gaze, and gasped in shock. He watched as the burning man attacked the fleeing croc and vanished. "Garren!"

"Aye." Garren flashed to Tallah's side and then transported himself,  Tallah and Lyla to Niklaus' side. Once again falling into focus, Tallah began to heal Niklaus as he maintained Lyla's precarious condition. Garren stood guard over them as Tallah was completely vulnerable.

Niklaus didn't respond, for she was unable to. The ringing was incessant, but in actuality, it was the fact that the fire had been put out that had her attention. It had never gone out before.. It always stung until it had destroyed the skin entirely, like a chemical burn. The giantess believed it was a miracle, yet she still wasn't in the same mindset as before. Unaware that there were now people near her, it was as if she was in a completely separate world. Tears stung at her eyes, the skin that was eaten by the flames black in color, and the bone the flames had reached seemed to be brushed to the point that its yellow hue was inexistent. "Burning in Helheim," she mumbled to herself, her voice small, "I'm burning in Helheim."

"You are not burning anywhere yet, big girl. Lah'll have you right and tight in no time. Just sit still and let him do his thing. He's been at it since the day he was born." Garren cast a glance back at Niklaus' wounds as Tallah's magic slowly healed her bones and reforged her skin. "Might want to numb the pain a bit Lah." He spoke to Tallah hoping the healer would hear him through his trance. Understanding the gist of what Garren implied, Tallah tried to reduce the pain Niklaus was feeling as much as possible, but keeping Lyla from slipping was demanding a large part of his concentration.

Magnus was about to attack anyone who came near, but they werent acting threatening. They wanted to help, either that or they were doing something else he didnt understand. He heard Niklaus, "You arent burning and you wont ever" He said, snarling at Garren for using the word 'yet' in his sentence.

The pain becoming fleeting, she calmed herself. Her wide eyes were glued onto the recovering skin, watching as the wound she had gotten at age nine was miraculously healing. The frostbitten-looking muscle was vanishing, and she wasn't sure if this was a blessing or a curse. She had just hoped that this was all that would heal, for the scars placed on her body were reminders from certain events, and their disappearance would bring about the need for replacements. "I-.. Th-Thank you," she stuttered out, forcing the words through her lips.

Tallah was struggling with healing both girls, and strain was showing. The streams of healing magic were becoming iratic. "Garren. Crystal. Stasis." He grunted out as the strain pulled him out of his trance.

"Aye." Reaching sideways into a portal, Garren pulled out a rose quartz the size of a robin's egg inscribed with runes. Placing the crystal on Lyla's chest, he slashed Tallah's hand and directed the blood onto the crystal. The crystal blazed and melted as it became a skintight cocoon than enveloped Lyla in rose colored light and runes. "Two years." Tallah whispered as Lyla was sealed outside of time.

Now free to direct his full attention towards healing Niklaus, he completely restored her in a matter of minutes before falling back to be caught by Garren. "Easy there Lah."

"Where's Mac?" Tallah gasped out as he leaned heavily against Garren's chest. His was unnaturally pale for such chocolate colored skin. Garren didn't say anything; he didn't have an answer.

Magnus should have destroyed that no good male, if it werent for him everything would be as it was. He expected him to change his ways? Did he not understand that was impossible?! He didnt choose to be born with this constant hunger, even though he was a hunter at heart and loved the thrill of the hunt, fight, and kill, he didnt wish for that hunger that was only sated by mortal flesh of the human being. He was mostly angry at himself for not being strong enough to protect Niklaus, he told her he wouldnt let any human come near her. Even though this human seemed divine in some way, he was still human. He failed the same night he made the promise. He moved towards the ice female and picked her up once she was healed, starting to walk away from the scene. He'd have to pick up his armor, but it was much too heavy for most to lift so he wasnt too worried about someone stealing it.

Garren cast a look at Mac's shotgun as it sank into a portal. "Well,  if he left his gun here,  there's only one place he could be." Gathering Tallah up bridal style,  much to his protest, Garren and Lyla sank into a portal leaving Niklaus alone with Magnus,  and Miley just a bit confused. "Sorry Croc; heals ain't free."

The trio appeared outside Tallah's cottage, immediately followed by Mac's shotgun. The sight of an unconscious Mac laid out on the ground gave Tallah a burst of energy as he hopped out of Garren's arms and kneeled beside Mac. "Mac... What were you doing?" Casting a quick diagnostic spell, Tallah confirmed that he was only suffering from extreme exhaustion. "Garren I need-"

"Aye." Garren interrupted as he pulled a potion chest out and handed it to Tallah before portalling Lyla inside the cottage. Now that the stasis had fully taken, she floated 4ft off the ground. Grazing through the potions, Tallah grabbed a vial glowing a suspicious muddy green color and uncorked it as he prepared to open Mac's mouth and pour it in.

Limp in the crocodile's arms, the female mustered up the strength to send him a dirty glare. As if explaining her anger, she spoke, "Don't run off without me, alright?" Her partner looked busy in thought, and she didn't like that one bit. "Ya' know.. If you think too hard when you don't have a brain, you're going to hurt your head." A soft chuckle resounded from her body afterwards, showing that she still had a bit of life in her. Truthfully, she was more worried for the being her pal gorged, and she prayed to the gods that the magical medicine-man would heal her like he had with Niklaus. An exclamation caught her attention, of course, and she stifled her own laughter. Perhaps this was the second time this happened to the redhead? She wasn't sure, but that's how she remembered the time with the mantis.

Magnus looked down at Niklaus. "You should have stayed out of all that" He growled. "You almost died, what the hell was going through your head?" He was relieved she was alright, and really being angry like this was just a way to show it.

A small smile appeared on the female's face, her eyes brightening up. She never enjoyed harsh personalities in others, but she considered the crocodile's words to be out of concern. "Well, you left the camp without telling me," she replied, "I was worried. Wouldn't you search for me if I randomly vanished?"

"O-oh my god, where's Lyla?" He shouted, scrambling out of the bed. "Where is she?! I-I can't let her die..!"
