Mac fell silent and rolled over, as to not make eye contact with the elf. "..... Then why don't you tell me to leave? If you don't want me to be hurt, why don't you tell me to leave?" Then, something clicked in Mac's brain. He rolled over, with betrayal in his eyes.

"A-are you just keeping me here because of the curse..? You are, aren't you?"

"What? No?!" Tallah whirled around, stunned. "That is not why I want you around. I just don't want you to go. I mean- I don't know what will happen to you if you leave. I would not be able to live with myself if something terrible happened to you."

"I'm kinda getting tired of this, Tallah..." Mac groaned into his hands. He brushed back his hair, and looked back up at the chocolate skinned man.

"I.. I heard you say that Garren was your only and true love.. I only stayed because I knew you would be shattered if I were to fail in breaking your curse, but.. I really cant go on thinking that you really love me.."

"I never said he was my one true love. I said that is what I thought 5 years ago. He's literally just like my older brother, now." Tallah ran his hands through his hair in fustration. "Mac, please, I don'twant you to go."

"I'm not going to leave you... I just... I just want to be enough for you.."

"I'm not going to leave you... I just... I just want to be enough for you.."

"If you just stay with me, it would be enough. You would be enough." Tallah sat on the bed, reaching for Mac's hand. "I'm just afraid. All the what ifs I stopped caring about before I met you make it so hard to accept what's right in front of me. I don't know what this is, and I may never know, but whatever it is, it would be enough." Tallah opened himself fully to Mac. Beneath all the excuses and misdirections, this is how he truly felt.

((Now, I've got Hamilton playing in the back of my mind.))

Mac looked over at Tallah, and took his hand in his own, holding it tenderly and gently. He really means this.. This isn't a lie... This was a comforting thought for the man. He closed his eyes in silent, contemplative thought, before finally acting. Leaning lover as to meet Tallah's height, Mac gently kissed him on the lips, before standing up, and cracking his neck.

"I'm gonna bring in the door, and set it up. After that, it's your choice what we do behind said closed door."

Tallah accepted Mac's kiss with all the stunned grace of a pubescent teenager. He hadn't anticipated a kiss, but he reciprocated happily. Licking his lips and looking up at Mac with glittering eyes, Tallah smirked dangerously. "I'm sure that we could come up with something to occupy our time." Tallah stood up and gave Mac a quick peck on the lips. He then turned slowly and strut into his bedroom. "Don't take too long."

Mac smiled, and quickly moved to fix the door into its place, sitting the hinges on, to bringing it into the house. After he had fastened it to the wall, he made his way to Tallah's room, but, making sure to knock first.

"Hey, can I come in?"

Without answering, Tallah swung the door open and leaned against the frame with smoldering eyes. "Now, while I am sure we are on a similar page, why don't you show me exactly what you had in mind behind these closed doors. It has been awhile for me." Whipping one of his belts off, and wrapping it loosely around Mac's neck, Tallah leads Mac inside the room. The door shuts softly behind them.

After about 45 minutes of loud moaning, banging against the walls and other unmentionable sounds, Mac fell back onto the bed, completely out of breath and sweating as if he had been baking in the sun for an hour. Panting like a dog, he looked over at the elf next to him.

"Was that to your.... expectations.... my dear, Tallah..?"

Tallah lay breathing heavily for a moment as his glazed over eyes slowly gained the focus of consciousness. He smirked and snuggled closer to Mac. "I may never walk straight again, but that was more than anything I could have anticipated." Tallah played lazily with Mac's chest hair, sighing contentedly. "I never knew it was possible to... so many times in such quick succession."

Miley, who was outside and a decent ways away from the house, was not spared from the weird noises they were making. She was going to kick Mac's ass before she left. The reason she was there was already over with, and she needed to get back to Jaken any way. The boys were most likely near that collapsed bridge by now and getting the horses ready to cross over the river. Luckily, the water should be pretty low this time of year, making the cross over easy. She would have left already if it weren't for the fact she wanted to at least say good bye to Mac. He's the only person she'd ever wait for, and after what he did for her when she was younger, it wasn't a surprise.

Mac happily snuggled back, but he soon slowly and reluctantly pulled off the sheets, and began to put on his clothes. "As much as I would like to continue cuddling, I need to see my guest out."

Making his way out if the door, he chuckled to himself. "Did... did you hear that?"

"Yes, yes I did."

"Yes, yes I did."

Mac's face reddened, and he rubbed his neck. "Oh, uh... heh heh..." He said, shamefully. He looked up at his former apprentice from the ground, and smiled an embarressed smile.

"Well, I, uh.. I came to see you off. I mean, if you had-" All of a sudden, Mac's comm crystal began to beep. Curious to what was going on, the merc flicked the top.\

"Attention, bounty hunter: A large scale bounty has just been put up by the lord of your area to the tune of one million gold, dead or alive. Multiple gods have been both killed/kidnapped in your area. Good luck." A suave, woman's voice said, as it came from the crystal.

If Miley were to look over at Mac's face, she would practically see dollar signs. "One million.... one million..." He giggled to himself, before looking over at Miley.

"Sooo... How about staying?"

"You know the deal. To stay, I gotta get paid," Miley said. "Rais will have my head if I dint being him so thing back." He actually would probably kill her if she didn't. "Also, what the hell if the bounty for?"

"Rais can take it up with me if he wants to fuck with us. He knows better than to mess with you when I'm here." Mac said, before patting her back. "The Guild respects me. I'll send them a message and buy you off of Rais."

"For the thing that is killing them. We'll have to go into town to get info on the bounty, though. Aaand we'll have to bring back Lyla."

"You know it's not that simple. I'm not a slave, it's more, he can totally kill me if he doesn't get what he wants. Look, just at least let me lie about getting paid ok? If hot, he'll send soem people you don't wanna fuck with."

"Mac, your coat just arrived by portal. Did I just hear something about gods being killed?" Tallah strolled out of the bedroom wrapped up in Mac's overcoat as if it were imperial robes. He'd pulled his hair back into some semblance of order, and the swept-step cadence in his walk was almost flawless. He wove himself around Mac's right arm, and kissed his shoulder. "Oh, hello, goddess. I would've expected you to be gone by now." Tallah appeared to be perfectly at ease as gave her an authentic smile.

(Miley doesn't know. She's only used her powers once when she was kid and doesn't want to to remeber it.)

"Don't call me that, I'm not a goddess," She ssid, still ticked about earlier. "And nope, I think I'm sticking around. Better than being fucked by a douchebag."

(She doesn't know, but Tallah can notice gods easily, thanks to Garren.)

"My apologies, and for my attitude before. What is your name then? I doubt you'll enjoy it if I have to give you a name." Tallah was unfazed by her mood. "If you're going to be staying awhile, you can share the side room with Lyla, or you can set camp anywhere in this glade."

"It's Miley Mark." She repkied, jumping down from the tree brachial she was on. "I'm an elf from the Outer Isles," She then explained. "And I guses I accept your apology."

Mac noticed how relaxed and calm Tallah was, though. What really surprised him was how loving and clingy he was. The Tallah he usually knew was rather cold and unwilling to show emotion. Mac wasn't complaining, but he did have a rather faint idea of why he was acting like this. He leaned down, and whispered in Tallah's ear. "Just how long has it been since you've been laid?"

Tallah's face got suddenly serious. "Welcome sister. The Voice of Tree and Sky receives you warmly to the Heartland forests." He rolled his eyes then grinned slightly. "I have to do that whenever another elf proclaims themself. Welcome to my glade, Miley."

"I believe it has been five years. Remember, Garren was my first, and I've been in a child's body ever since. Why do you ask?" Tallah didn't whisper, but he spoke softly.
