"Mac, stop, please. I'm not saying that I don't want you here,  because I do. I'm just saying that I don't think that I feel as strongly for you as you feel for me. I'm sorry that it is not what you were hoping for,  but it is the closest thing to truth that I have right now, and I felt that I needed to tell you where we stood." Tallah placed his hands on Mac's chest and leaned against him, hoping that the bearded man's rigid posture would loosen somewhat.

"N-no, it's okay.." Mac choked, as he walked away from the elf. He was absolutely broken. He didn't make eye contact with the young man, due to fear of losing his composure and crying.

"Like I said, I'm just gonna fix the door..."

"Mac." Tallah whispered as he watched the broken man leave the room and then the cottage. In an effort to repay Mac's honesty, he had only ended up making things worse. It would have been better to have just let him hold on to his hope that I was simply upset with him. Tallah sighed as he walked into his bedroom and set about cleaning up all the things he'd thrown at Mac.

As the various utensils and tool floated back to their  proper positions, in the main room or in medical kits, Tallah saw a knife covered in blood. Mac's blood. Tallah scoffed sourly as he grabbed the knife out of the air. Who needs a blade when your careless words can make such a man bleed so easily? Tallah scolded himself as he took the knife into his room, wrapped it in a handkerchief, and stored it in a large glass cabinet full of various trinkets, weapons, armor pieces, skulls and bones. "How many times am I going to ruin lives before I learn?"

"Mac, seriously ar- You ok?" Miley asked once he was outside, and she had hoped down off the roof.

Mac was heartbroken, but even after such a harsh and inconvenient truth, he was still foolishly in love with the protector of the forest. Carrying the toolbox, he brought it back to Miley, and began to fit the trim on the door, before looking up at her.

"How do I get someone to love me?"

@FireMaiden

"Uhhh," She rubbed the back of her neck. "I uh, well, in what way?Romantically or Platonically?" She asked, though she guess romantic. "Having lady troubles or something?"

"You could say that.. He said that he didn't feel the same, but I still love him too much to just go off and live my life like I used to.." Mac said, a he began to heat the metal up.

"H-He?" She questioned, with a cocked eyebrow. "Well, that's...unexpected. Well, I don't really think I'm the best person to ask about this. I've never actually had anyone love me romantically, outside of love making. But, anyway, I'd say give time, I guess. If you really love him, than maybe he'll give you a chance. Or, if he love you even a little, he may give you guys a shot together," Miley said.

Fiora sat by the tress as she sang a gentle song and bird flew around her feeling of the cold brezz of the wind when she heard a snap and turn "mother?" she said as she clime up to the tress and look to the direction of the people walking

@Valefar @SnugglyKnight

Magnus heard someone say something, and his nose brought him toward Fiora. He was starving, but for some reason he just kept meeting divine out here. She had that smell to her, he could tell she was divine, but that wouldnt stop him from trying to devour one. He was an excellent hunter, so getting prey in a tree was simple and easy. He used his claws to climb a tree close to the one Fiora was in, then when he was in position, he pounced. His bulk smashed into her, knocking her out of the tree with him. He loomed over her like a dragon would a knight, his teeth ready to clamp down on her throat.

"So what do I do to have him give me a chance? I... I can't get him out of my head..." Mac asked, the seriousness of his question apparent in his voice.

"I uh..." Miley sighed, and rubbed the back of her neck. "I don't know. Never had this happen personally,  so I'm kinda at a lose here." She was quiet, and thought for a moment. "Talk to him later. Maybe your skills with helping Elves will pay off."

"You could always just court him, Mac-nanimous." Garren flowed out of a portal to lean against the wall of the cottage. His cheek looked dangerously inflamed from the slap, but altogether on the mend. "Elves his age usually start courting about now anyways. Usually the process takes about a decade, but you're not gonna give up anytime soon." He crossed his arms and gave Mac an apraising look. Nodding as if satisfied with what he saw, he began to sink down into a portal. "So just get started on it after you fix the door. Good luck."

Meanehile, Tallah was walking aimlessly around the cottage, tidying up. He'd much rather be outside, in the sun, but he didn't have the courage to bump into Mac again. He sighed heavily as he used a breeze spell to dust a cabinet for the fourth time. I know that honesty was the best way, but why did he have to hurt so much? Sadly, there were jo answers to be found inside.

"Guh, enough! I've got my body back finally. I should enjoy this while I can." Striding into his room, Tallah stripped and put on on summer outfit. It equated to a mint crop top baring his toned midriff, emerald daisy dukes with a two brown belts set in an 'x' formation. Sliding on socks with white cuffs, and dark brown booties with straps mimicing his belt, Tallah finished his outfit with several engraved bangles on each wrist. Every article of clothing was decorated with high elf ((stereotypical elf)) stitching patterns and engravings. The clothes clung to his body very well and accentuated every curve. "It'll do." Tallah nodded nonchalantly he evaluated himself in the mirror.

Now dressed to impress and ready to step out, Tallah called a med kit to follow him as he left his room. Passing through the main room quickly, he stepped through the open doorway and turned to approach Mac and Miley, just as Garreb was sinking away. "Mac, I'm going to go down to the village for awhile. I shouldn't be more than a few hours. If you need me, just call out loud and I'll come back quickly. Alright?" Tallah stood there and tucked a stray strand of shimmering hair behind his pointed ear as he waited for Mac to respond, oblivious to how good he looked in his outfit.

Well since someone got tired of waiting, Magnus was back where Niklaus told him they were meeting. He had firewood and struck flint on the armor on his wrist, watching the sparks fly before it caught and the flame rose up slowly. He put the flint down and got closer to the fire, warming his scales. @Valefar

Miley narrowed her eyes at Tallah, before she spoke. "You're the pretty little twerp Mac is after?" She asked. @Delacare

"Another god, and this one with a mouth." Tallah's sapphire blues gave a languid gaze as his voice became deadpan with contempt. "Mac, is this the sort of... I guess you could call it a person, the sort of people you spend time with?" Crossing his arms easily and setting back on his left heel, Tallah returned her narrow gaze with something extra. "Is there a problem, goddess?"

"Yeah their fucking is." She stepped a little closer to him, brushing a peice of hair behind her ear, which was also pointed, but not as much as a normal elf. "You're hurting him. You need to be a bit kinder to him, especially since I get the feeling he's done so thing pretty great for you."

Mac was trying his best to block Tallah out of his mind as he fixed the door. He didn't want another wave of heartbreak to hit him again.

"M-Miley, can you pass me another nail?"

"What other kindness do you possibly think I can show him? Send him away? That would only get him killed." Tallah snapped at Miley with ill-contained annoyance. He glanced at Mac as he refused to acknowledge his presence. "The nicest thing I could have done, I've already done, and this is the outcome." He gestured at the broken man barely holding himself together. "There is nothing more I can do." Tallah turned away and walked towards the path that led into the forst. He called over his shoulder as he went. "Well, I guess you can tell Mac that I have no romantic feeling for Garren, at all." Then he was gone.

"Mac, why?" Miley asked, gesturing towards the elf walking away. "He seems like a total douchebag." She already didn't like him. @Safety Hammer

"He used to be so kind.." Mac sighed, as he began to layer each of the sides with glue, and pieced them together. "He.. he used to speak to me with real, genuine kindness in his voice.. He nursed me back to health when I was on the brink of dying, Miley. When he told me about his curse, the only thing I could think of is helping him.. But now that he's older, he hates me..."

"Older? What do you mean by now he's older?" She was confused to say the least.
