Aaron gave a small nod and frowned softly "Are you gonna go see mom when they take me?" He asked squeezing his dad's hand tightly "Why do I need more surgery? I don't want it..."

Mary frowned deeper and shook her head some "Well obviously his lawyers have spoken to mine, and I wanted to tell him to stop being ridiculous. You're just his flavor of the month in junkie whores. He'll toss you back into the street like he has done all the others and come back to me." She spat down the line before hanging up the phone.

She rolled her eyes and put the phone down. “What did you ever see in her?” She questioned him. “I didn’t have the heart to tell her that we’ve been going for three years.” She muttered, moving to sit behind him and gently rubbed his shoulders.

Eddie frowned. “I don’t know. Depends on what she wants me to do… there’s a lot of fluid building up and they think you’re bleeding. Whatever it is they gotta go in and fix it so you can continue healing bud…. I know you don’t want this and I wish it wasn’t happening but we gotta get you better.” He told him gently, kissing his head and looking up seeing his surgeon coming in with a couple nurses to start getting him ready.

Jamie gave a heavy sigh "I told you I was young and dumb, thats basically it. I thought I needed to be married by that point and starting on a family. So I picked a woman I thought would be good for me in that sense. Its stupid now when you look at it." He mumbled

Aaron took a deep breath but nodded some "See you soon Dad..." he murmured before they wheeled him off to go get fully prepped and ready. It was another two hours before they brought him back in completely knocked out 'Surgery went smoothly, he will need to be back on strict bedrest. We think all the moving is what set this off.'

He nodded and thanked them, taking a seat and sighed quietly, rubbing at his face a little, feeling like he was going to snap soon if he didn’t get a hold on himself between Aaron and the baby and max he was highly strung.

Carmen smiled and nodded a little. “Yeah… yeah it was but that’s okay… you’ll be rid of her soon.” She murmured, kissing his cheek and held him close “Hlw you feeling?” She asked him quietly, hoping he would manage to stay sober now long enough she could get him into a meeting back home.

A nurse came in to see him a little later giving a small smile "Mr.Munson? Your wife should be ready to push soon, would you like to be there? We can have a nurse sit in with him if you's like."

Jamie gave a heavy sigh but relaxed into her touch "Honestly? I could really use a stiff drink, but I'll be alright." He said quietly before pecking her lips gently a few times before they became a bit desperate.

She nodded and sighed a little. “Alright… is there something you’re trying to ask me mister?” She smiled a little and kissed him back, holding onto him.

Eddie looked up and nodded, thanking her, following her quickly to the room and smiled, going to stand right by her side. “Hey beautiful, he’s doing real good. He had a minor surgery to fix things up and he’s gonna be okay.” He told her. “You ready?” He asked, taking her hand so she could use it as needed.

Jamie smiled softly and gave a small nod "Can I ravish your gorgeous body?" He asked giving her big puppy dog eyes

Max went wide eyed and frowned when she saw Eddie come in. Though when he explained Aaron was okay she relaxed some "He's okay?" She asked again needing his assurance. She nodded softly when he promised and gripped his hand when the doctor told her to start pushing. It was another 20 minutes before the room filled with crying and she collapsed back onto the bed while they let Eddie cut the chord.

He started crying the moment he heard their daughter crying as well, not standing still until they placed her in his arms and he just sobbed happily while he held her. “Oh hey, hey there princess, oh babe you did so good she’s perfect.” He murmured carrying her over to have max hold her kissing her head over and over. “Oh I love you so much… Aaron’s gonna be so excited.”

She smiled and kissed him back, moving them so she was laying down and just held onto him tightly.

Max smiled tiredly and cried quietly as she watched Eddie. She took their daughter into her arms and looked at Eddie before turning her attention to the little girl "I love you too...she is perfecrt huh?" She said quietly trying to keep herself awake but having been in labor so long her energy was drained at the moment.

Jamie moved to hover above her and smiled widely "A million babies here we come." He teased before kissing her lovingly....he lay with her afterwards and panted softly smiling a bit "I think I'm going to leave the band..."

She sat up for a minute to catch her breath, shaking a little. They hadn’t been so energetic in a very long time and she never had fully recovered from the overdose physically. “Hold that thought.” She mumbled, getting up and going to use the restroom before coming back to bed and laying next to him, watching him some. “Is that what you want?” She asked him curiously, trying to hide that she was still struggling.

He smiled and kissed her head repeatedly, thanking the nurse who was taking lots of photos for them until they were taking Iris for a few checks and to the nursery for now. “Get some rest love. I’m gonna go see Aaron…. Text me when you wake up okay?” He murmured, helping to get her laying down better and sorted her hair out for her, waiting with her until she was asleep and finally made his way back to Aaron, seeing him awake. “You have a baby sister.”

Jamie frowned deeply when he noticed her struggling a bit. He pulled her close to him giving a small nod "Yeah, I think for us the simple life is the way to go." He said softly before running his hand through her hair "Are you okay?"

Aaron looked over at the door when he heard it open giving his dad a smile "Her and Mom are okay?" He asked before yawning some "The nurse told me my surgery went well, doctor should be here to talk with you soon."

He nodded and smiled. “Yeah, they’re both doing good. Your mom says she loves you and I can take you to see her tomorrow.” He told him, taking a seat. “How’re you feeling?”

She nodded and smiled. “If that’s what you want to do then I’m with you.” She told him quietly, coughing a little. “I will be in a minute.” She mumbled, kissing his palm. “Just … don’t have the energy I used to.” She mumbled, resting her head back and watching him quietly, “I love you Jamie, once we get back to Indiana it’s time to start winding down.” She murmured smiling.

Aaron gave a small nod and smiled some "Good, they got me on pain killers so I'm livin life." He said giving him a double thumbs up.

Jamie gave a small nod and kissed the top of her head repeatedly "And we can start looking for places to stay out here." He said happily as he watched her some

Carmen hummed in response, starting to drift off curled up close to him, just wanting for the chaos to be over for jamie

Eddie nodded and smiled. “Good. Get some rest bud okay? We can go see your mom and sister in the morning.” He promised,

A nurse came into the room soon after Aaron fell asleep "Mr.Munson? I just wanted to let you know that we'll be keeping your wife overnight. Her blood pressure is high and she is still having a bit of bleeding. Nothing major yet, but we just want to keep her for observation." She explained to him

Jamie smiled softly and also started to fall asleep with her.

Eddie frowned and nodded. “Alright. Thank you.” He muttered, rubbing his face and leaning back exhausted, ending up asleep shortly after just from all the stress of the past couple dahs

Carmen got up early in the morning to go take a shower, sighing quietly as she watched Jamie sleeping for a minute before doing so, making it a quick one and came back out to find him still asleep, sighing a little in relief that he hadn’t disappeared on her again.

Max smiled widely the next morning when she saw Eddie and Aaron come in with a nurse who was bringing Iris "Oh hi guys!!" She said giving a small giggle. She was still pretty out of it from her painkillers but ultimately she was doing better.

Jamie groaned softly when he felt her come back to bed "You left me.." he pouted as he pulled her close keeping his eyes closed "Stay and cuddle."

She smiled tiredly and got into clean pjs, moving to lay with him again, “I needed to shower.” She told him quietly, smiling as he groaned when he got a face full of wet hair.

Eddie took a seat after setting asron up in the wheelchair they were letting him use, sitting in the arm chair and just watched the three of them, mostly staring at Iris. Exhausted and stressed but just wanting to get his family home.

Jamie groaned some when he felt her wet hair on his face and quickly wiped it "Fine, I guess showers are needed." He mumbled

Max took Iris into her arms and laughed lightly as Aaron looked away when she had to feed "You had to do the same thing Aaron." She teased before covering herself up "Your dad does too.." she mumbled only so Eddie could hear and wiggled her eyebrows some.

He just hummed in response, taking her to burp her once max was done and sat back, staring at her in awe. “She’s so tiny.” He mumbled, eventually moving to let Aaron hold her, helping him out a little until he had it. “There you go, that’s your little sister.”


Carmen smiled and rolled over to face him, snuggling into his chest. “Mmm you got any meetings today? If not then I have plans for us.” She told him tiredlg

Max smiled happily at them "Oh Eddie take a photo." She said softly watching them. She watched him some and sighed happily "Lets get married Eddie, like tomorrow."

Jamie shook his head some "I think my lawyer is supposed to call me, but thats about it." He murmured

She nodded and smiled, “alright. Get up. Get dressed. You’re taking me to the museum.” She told him, kissing his nose and got up to get dressed properly for the day.

Eddie smiled a little and went to sit on the edge of the bed. “Slow down there beautiful. We can’t do it tomorrow. But we can soon enough.” He murmured, kissing her head again and just watched Aaron holding his sister, stepping over and eventually took her back, setting her in the little plastic cot and stood to take Aaron back to his room, starting to get a headache and sighed a little just wanting to get his whole family home

-2 weeks-
Max sat at home with Iris on her chest fast asleep giving a heavy sigh. She smiled widely as Eddie came into the room after taking Aaron in to his first day of senior year. They'd hesitantly agreed to let him go, but if anything were to happen he would be doing homeschooling. She was beyond worn out by this point as well. She didn't realize that having this new baby would be like starting all over again, added to the fact she had a small head cold on top of it all.

Jamie sat at his parent's house after he finished up with his lawyers for the day. Mary was making this divorce as messy as possible but thankfully it was all starting to look in his favor. After Carmen had gone back home he had opted to staying with family so that they could more keep an eye on him and help make sure he didn't slip up again.

Eddie sighed heavily as he walked over and lifted Iris into his arms, just wanting a snuggle with his daughter seeing as he really hadn’t had much time like that at all between looking after aaron plus max and then sorting out stuff with the school on top of it. “Jake practically tackled him soon as he got out the car. Had to yell at the kid.” He muttered. “You doing okay? Need any juice or anything?” He asked, smiling as he stared at Iris.

Carmens flight had landed an hour ago and finally she was back through the arrivals doors, getting a taxi home, wanting to call Jamie and let him know she was back, doing it the moment she got into the house, “hey Anne, is Jamie available?” She asked her.

Max smiled softly and gave a small laugh when he told her about Jake "Those two have been two peas in a pod since kindergarten." She murmured softly as she reached for him "How are you feeling babe?" She asked quietly seeing the heavy bags under his eyes. Eddie had been an angel with all of them, trying to help in every way, but she also saw it wearing him thin and that worried her.

Jamie smiled softly as his mom gave him the phone "Hello?" He asked down the line smiling wide when he heard Carmen's voice. "Hey love, how did you flight go?"
