I Put A Spell On You

"The differences in methods... Is it a difference in character or is it the spirits it self?"She asked after a moment of thought of how to ask the question.

"It's a difference in the spirits itself." He chuckled, "It's like having an older brother: you keep trying to imitate it, without even knowing you are. I'm much more outgoing and usually seen as arrogant, though it's actually me trying to be amiable. Hillin is more secluded and tends to be extremely hostile."

"I see..I figured it was something like that."She said simply as the approached the area were she had left Hillin neither he or Hetrimer were there. However the fact they were here was clear, backed circle of destruction could be seen were Hillin had overcharged, it was more power then she imagined."Wow, this is...Incredible..."

Ronnak sighed and nodded, "I wish that he knew what he waas trying to do. He barely even knows the power that he holds... and he's already trying to tear them apart." He was going to speak when a blast of shadow struck him dead on the back.

Hillin stood behind him. He looked different. His eye were insane. His hands were shaking. He had a twisted smile on his face, "Hehehehheheheh! I killed him! I killed Ronnak! HEh, heheheheh!"

Ronnak looked up and setn to her telepathically: Act like I'm dead....

"I think whatever power he welds, he still feels inadequate when compared to..."She began to she before she could help scream as the dark energy hit Ronnak. For a moment, she didn't need to pretend thinking he was dead as she panicked that she lost her only hope to save the world from hillin. "No...No! Pleas dont be.."She cried as she knelled down next to Ronnak before realizing still alive. She silently breathed a sigh of relief before continuing her morning." No! I wont lose another person because of me! No! Please no!"

Hillin walked up and he put his blade upon her neck, "Thank you, my dear apprentice. You have delivered to me a perfect prize." He smirked widely and laughed a little bit, then he grabbed Ronnak by the throat and raised the blade up to his neck.

When he saw her continuing to mourn, he blasted her in the chest with a pianful bolt of shadow. He smirked and cackled.

That was when Ronnak amde his move. He suddenly light up the area in a large blinding light, causing Hillin to scream. He gasped, screaming as he fell down.

Minerva was tossed aside by the unexpected dark attack from hillin, which really she should have been expecting. She clutched her stomach groaning in more pain then she imagined, attempting to use some healing on herself. She was almost blinding by the flash which Ronnak produced, she tried to sit up still clutching her stomach as tried to capitalize raising her want and strike as well with a light bolt."Take that you, bastard."

Ronnak threw hillin off, who responded by instead summoning a large clodu of darkness around him. Ronnak fell back to Minerva to protect her and created his own shield of light, using it to defelct his blows. Yet no matter how hard he tried, he wasn't going to be gaining ground on Hillin. He looked at Minerva, "Distract him!"

"Eh...Right."She said getting up and fired several light bolts at Hillin giving her a chance to get her bearing. She began approaching Hillin still firing the bolt before releasing arcs of lighting from both her wand and free hand towards him." Ron.. What ever you going to do better do it."

"I know what I'm doing." He plunged his staff into the ground and suddenly the entire area... was glowing. Every single item glowed. The light intesified, yet Ronnak put an enchantment on Minerva so she could see. He growled and suddenly he blasted Hillin with the light.

Hillin screamed in agony and he tried to do something. His body began to crack and crumbled, literallyf alling apart.

"Holy..."She muttered as she saw Hillin break away. However something happened she couldnt explain, she felt pain not from the strike from her stomach but from her chest. She stumbled back feeling like just cut a piece from her heart and then dropped to her knees. "Ron...."

Ronnak turned and suddenly he looked at Hillin. HE was on the ground, bleeding and panting. But he started to chuckle, "Did... did you think I'd let her live without me? Unless you want to bond your soul to her, I'd suggest that you let me die."

Ronnak froze and looked at her, "... shit." He cast a small healing spell over Hillin and grabbed her, holding her tightly.

"No..."She said weakly trying to grab Ronnak healing hand to stop him from casting it on him. " Its fine... Dont let him live...Dont give him the win..."

"No..."She said weakly trying to grab Ronnak healing hand to stop him from casting it on him. " Its fine... Dont let him live...Dont give him the win..."

Ronnak looked at her and he grabbed Hillin, smacking him unconcious and healing the worst of his wounds. He growled, then he lifted her up.

She frowned despite the fact begging to feel better thanks to the healing. It was a little bit before she felt well enought to walk."Just let me down... Let me down!"She said angrily.

Ronnak let her sit down and he gave a sigh, "Hillin linked your souls together. I can't let you die. You're not evil." He sighed and shut his eyes tightly, putting magical cuffs on Hillin. Then he put on a special collar that inhiberated his magic.

"I cant be the reason that evil man can live!" She yelled back at him turning his back at Ronnak enable to look at him,"That collar will only be a temporary solution, i promise you!" She sighed as she looking down."You wrong, i am no good... "

"Do tell me why you're not good." Ronnak sat down, looking into her eyes. They looked like they were probing her soul, searchign their depths for anything, "Tell."

"I have killed...I was attacked and used my powers to push him away, it should have been the end of it but i could stop... I didn't want to stop so angry at the attacker and my si...What happened before... I continued to strike at him,.."She revealed continuing to look down but could feel Ronnaks stare and could help feel obliged to speak."If not bad enough, i have been with Hillin for three years, turning a blind eye to whatever he did."

Ronnak sighed and he took her arm, "You're going to come with me now. I hve a few things that I can do to help you." He looked down and then he slowly began to chant. The world spun and the snow all began to swirl around them. When it cleared, they were back at the temple of light he'd built. He locked Hillin in a small prision of light, binding him so if he used magic, he'd be burned.

She came out of the the the teleportation spell a bit confuse and more then a little dizzy. It took a second for her to get her bearing before she took a seat she did when she first came to the temple and leaned on the table. She sighed,"What can you do to fix me?"

"There are two ways that we do this: either you give up your ability to use magic altogether, or you can bond your soul with another being... and since Hillin is the one we want to avoid, that would be me." He looked down, "Hillin has done a partial bond, a bond taht will kill the other if one is injured. I would have to do a full bond. You'd literally be apart of my soul. You'd lose access to your dark magic and you'd be completely skilled in light magic..."

"I... You would bond with me? Just like, leave it up to me?" She asked expecting the option to lose her magic in fact, she was almost happy to be able to be rid of it. However the choice of being bonded to him surprised her not thinking she was worth such trust."I... I don't know... What do you think?"

He looked at her and he sat down, "The choice is yours. I'm willing to do so, yet I would warn you that you'll probably be reset in magic levels. Hillin would die, yes, and we can only pray the spirit of the moon is reincarnated into a much better being."

She remained quite for a little while before answering."Maybe a clean slate would be good for me and your influence. Either way, hillin wont be a trouble, "She muttered before sighing." Fine, lets bonds."
