I Put A Spell On You

Somehow she fell a sleep eventually out of some miracle as before she knew it Hillin was knocking at her door and was 20 minutes late." Crap... I am up! I am up!" She cried getting up adjusting her hair and robe before grabbing her wand staff. She opened the door."Sorry , overslept. So what eh...What are we doing?"

Hillin smiled, "Ah, I see that you're one for a... natural look. Anyways, I'm showing you how to perform the technique of blood magic." He walked over to a small door, "Please, after you, my dear Minerva." His smirk only grew.

"Only because i can work it and you know it..."She retorted at her looks comment and shook her head before she looked at him with surprise."Blood magic? Please dont tell me what i think it means."

He rolled his eyes, "I didn't say you weren't pretty, dear. Anyways, Blood Magic is magic that was... forbidden many years ago. It is the art of using your own blood to draw energy from. Essentially you are turning your blood into raw energy. In the heat of battle, if you are bleeding and need to regain strength, blood magic is the best way to replenish that energy."

"That is what i thought, i have played games in the past." She said clearly not comfortably working with blood. "Yeah like i would be in fight so often that i will need to rely on my blood." Let me guess, i can also use it control others?"

"I see..." She replied feeling a little better with the way he talked about the magic." Ok, i guess i can try it out, its not the magic but the person us..."She noted the new man and was confused by the way he was introduced." A pleasure... Hetrimer... Eh, you said he was commmander of forces? Force of what?"

Smiling, he giggled. Hillin actually giggled, "You will, eventually. I wouldn't do that to someone when I'm teaching them some of the most powerful magic known to the world."

"Hmmm, have it your way, boss."She said not looking to satisfied with that answer. A small force of mage and servants, from what she seen of magic she could tell this group could do a lot of damage. That they need a "commander" is more troubling. Another thing to worry."Ok, lets get to the blood magic."

Smiling widely, he smiled and sat down on a small bench in the middle of an open air courtyard. He sat a bucket of blood down, "Alright, concentrate on this blood. Tell me what you feel." He laughed again.

"Slight revulsion and a little nauseated."She said looking at the blood for a moment."I admit this not how i expected to be doing this, i am not sure if this is better or worse though. Please tell me you didnt get this blood just for me, the person would have been dead anyway?"

"It's from a dear that stumbled onto the shooting range for my mages." He explained, "I wasn't able to get you human blood. That's a little too precious to waste. Before you mention the recruit I killed, that was for a purpose: intimdation."

"Stumbled in your shooting range?"She repeated with a sense of doubt in her voice. "And suppose a sound beating wound have had a the same effect and waist of a potential recruit even with low magical talent. Could have used him to clean up the place."

Hillin suddenly wrapped her in a small sphere of darkness. The moonlight above her doubled and shone upon her. His eyes glowed a sickly green, "Do not question me, Minerva. I have seen things that you will never see. I am more powerful than you will ever be! You will obey my orders!"

"O...Okay... Just a suggestion as all." She said not helping feel a little scared of the display of power. "Shall we... Shall we continue with the lesson?"

Hillin slowly let her free and walked over to the bucket, almost as though the last few seconds hadn't ever happened. He lifted up a ball of blood telekentically and he said, "Focus on this. What do you feel? What do you sense with it, magic wise?"

"I dont its just..." She went to say still recovering from the spell he cased before she looked at he blood more closely. "Wait... I sense something i cant describe, like... Electricity." She described it before she raised her hand around near the ball of blood, she felt the energy in side and she felt some control of it. She moved her hand and a small amount followed it before settling as a ball over her hand. She tried to do further and absorb the energy, the blood began to glow slightly before dissipating as if it was never there. However there was a tinkle in his hand which ran down her arm."Wow..."

Hilin's eyes widened and he sucked in a breath, "You already figured it out." His face turned from completely exasperated to smirking, "You are a truly gifted mage. You mastered something that there some mages never master."

"I... Is it...I just acted out of instict..."She said even she taken aback by the display of blood., her eyes wide in suprise as she looked down her hand. She touched her arm, as if to try to feel the tickling in her arm."Propably a fluke i guess, maybe i have just an affinity with deer blood..."

(what do you think Minerva a natural blood minipulation specialist and just really that with just barely up to par with others?)

((I actually have the idea that she's very powerful, not as powerful as Hillin, but a very talented, more than normal mages. She has special talents))

Hillin smiled, "Tell me, do you feel more powerful?" He asked, smiling widely. He was already reforming his plan, smiling in his mind. He liked the idea of her being so powerful. He lifted up a small bucket with more blood, "Turn this into energy."

(Ok, will just keep her as what you said.)

"Yes, quite abit."She said not appreciating the smile he was given to her making her hesitating a bit to follow his command. She eventually did the same as she did before, feeling the energy in the blood and she moved her hand on top of the bucket of blood. The blood began to glow and slowly began to dissipated and she felt the tickling her hand. This time though the tickling became more intense as more energy was absorbed until he arm began to be hurt. She began to grown as it was suddenly as a if her hand was on fire and it began to spread to her body. She clutched her arm as began to groan in pain, she need to let it, she pushed it out through her finger and came out as uncontrolled bolts of lightning.

Hillin yelped and he held out his hands, catching the lighting and holding it between his hands. He took a small breath and then he disipated the lightning. He stared at her, not sure exactly what to say to her. He was much more powerful than her yet still... that was extreme power. He slowly started to speak, "You.. absorbed too much energy." He said simply.

Minerva just stared at her arm near from the pain and breathing heavily. Her arm still hurt as literal patches of burns could be seen through out her arm. "No...Shit..."She said looking at him coldly

Hillin walked over and he slowly laid his hands on her arm, then he slowly began to use his magic. The burns healed and the pain subsided. He smiled widely and then pulled back, "You are a very talented mage... more talented than I even thought."

"Thanks... "She said the magic he cast making her fell good as new." I want to know that spells, that for sure.."She looked at him with surprised with the praise."I didnt absorb all the the blood thought."
