Fantasy Howl's Flying Castle (Finished! ---Whoo! (*^▽^)/)

When Sen pointed out the wanted posters, Minnie just stared. When did anybody grab a photo of them in the first place? With the twins together no less? or be that close to her and Ricket? Then again...

'Magic...' Minnie thought, hearing Sen crumple some of the wanted posters close by them and she nodded at finding the rest of the group. Her mind wondered as to who even has type of money in the first place? It can't be the Governor since he doesn't have that sort of cash...so who could it be?

Soon enough, Minnie and Sen spotted Seth and Ricket, now the whole small group moving together to the slums. She could care less about the smell or the rats crawling around the area, having been through so much just to arrive at this city. Now they are being chased...again.

'I really should not be used to this...' Minnie thought, grabbing a cardboard that's dry and flattening it on the ground so they can sleep. Then she unraveled her large pink robe, revealing a different outfit. It's a light beige tunic that reached down to her knees, a darker hue of the same cloth material is used to tie around her waist and the skirt billowed whenever there's a wind blowing. She always wore shorts under the skirts and the red sash covered her left shoulder and wrapped around her waist like a cape of sorts. Her hair, now longer, had to be tied up into a bun.

"Here...use this as a blanket for the night." Minnie muttered to the guys as she covered them with the pink robe. Then she listened in to the...well well...it's the traveling fair...

"...Was it Vassal Ogar who posted those wanted posters?" She asked quietly, sitting next to the twins and Ricket with her gun folded and hidden away under the blanket.

The bobcat-ish feline was crouched in the shadow of a pillar keeping watch as the twin washed his face in the trough and his ears twitched as Seth called out to him, rising to his feet as the twin approached and looking at the paper in his hand. His ears folded and his golden eyes shifted to the twin a moment before back to the paper. He sighed slightly and shook his head. He then removed his jacket and put it in his pack, pulling out a dusty brown one to replace it and changing his pants to match, "Rrrrrrrricket not know... these... murr.... ones... Band-of-its not normally put bounties... they bads so they don't fuss."

He stroked his furry chin slightly, the way a man with a beard might when he was in thought, "these ones maybe ones after Minnie-it and Same Lookings?" His tone became hushed as people walked towards the bath house and some were seen exiting before he tilted his head slightly to signify that they should move along. He tried to remain in the shadows as much as possible without seeming too obviously wanting to avoid attention. He didn't like how the people were being treated, even by their own. Ricket was used to being on his own and not having to look after anyone nor be looked after, but that didn't mean that wrong doing sat right with him. He tried to avoid paying too much attention to it though because he didn't want to again draw their group into the eye of their enemies as he accidentally had when they entered the city.

When the group was whole again, Ricket sat silently and listened, his ears constantly twitching as he only partially heard what his friends were talking about as he focused on listening to their surroundings in hopes of keeping them from getting surprised by those around that meant them harm.

"But this is pink." said Seth, lifting the robe. He gave it back to Minnie, making sure it didn't touch the filthy floor.

"It could be Vassal Ogar." said Sen. "Why didn't they put our names, though? Rrricket, about what you said, about how band-of-its --- I mean bandits, don't post wanted posters and it could have been the ones chasing us, I'm thinking we should stop calling each other by our real names and stop baiting bandits."

Up above, the chatter of the travelling fair grew louder. A couple of folks, one of them a lady with a deep purring voice was talking about the ruckus this morning.

"Martineau, oo' should 'ave called me. Zat boy was one of Johnny's friends, gah, read ze papers sometimes. Zey saved Holt, I wonder what zey are doing here?"

"Forgive me, Madame Goodhart, I thought he was a thief trying to get in our caravans to steal from us."

"I forgive you. 'Onestly, a billion shekelz for beating up bandits? Ridiculous. Claire, are you sure zats how zey got ze bounty?"

There was a swish of water. "That's what I heard from Axel. He heard it from that camel herder back in Khuveet."

"I vonder who is paying? Can't be ze sultan, he's fled."

"Thought maybe of cashing them in?"

"Of course not, you do not do zat to children no matter how naughty --- you spank them! You spank them and pinch zeir ears until zey learn zeir lesson --- like zat!"

The people above gasped as a loud clapping sound smacked wood hard.

"Madam Goodhart, if it's that hard, I daresay they would learn their lesson."

"Yes, and anyway I do not believe it. Johnny vould never be friends with bad people."

"Where was he heard last?" another swish of water.

"Dalaran. I can't believe the elves crossed a portal to get there. That priestess Luthien must be a very powerful elf, I heard she would not speak to anyone, and that the elven queen herself speaks for her."

"Haughty. Why are royals like that, they always send someone else to speak to them?"

"I don't know, it's kind of fancy, though? Or maybe it's because she might get assassinated, you know?"

The talk shifted to royals and their odd ways. The smell of pipe smoke drifted down the sewers as they heard the chinking of knives and the clinking of mugs as the people above started to eat.

Minnie gave Seth a deadpanned look when he complained about the color. "...It's just a color..." She took back the robe anyway, still giving Seth a look that he's being silly for not wanting to stay warm. Then she sighed quietly. Boys...

She listened to Seth, wondering why that is until a thought popped in her head. "Maybe...it's because they don't know our names...?" Then she looked up as the voices from the traveling fair came closer, blinking from the heavy accent.

Madame Goodhart knows Johnny, the sheep guy who whisper-screamed?

Why does he know the boss of the traveling fair?

The more she listened to the conversation above, the more ideas popped into her head about their names. "...Perhaps...Perhaps-!" Minnie looked at Seth with wide eyes, looking more innocent and girl-like than usual. It was the most cutest look she has so far without having it to be scary like when she plays hide and go seek. "People know about Seth as one of the heroes of Holt thanks to the newspapers. If they put it on the wanted posters here, it's going to make the people riot and create more chaos, thinking that he's here to help-!"

It makes sense. People tend to go crazy when there's a hope from suppression...and to them, Seth can be that hope...

"By not putting our names, who ever that's looking for us will make the public believe that we're just another band of criminals-! That one of them- or well two- just looks like Seth. I don't even think that they know you guys are twins because Seth was the only one there with Big sis Ren and Big bro James at Holt..." It's a wild idea. A crazy one...

Too crazy but...

Then Minnie sighed, shaking her head and covered it with the pink robe. "Maybe I'm thinking too much. Sorry..." She calmed down...or well calmer as she didn't sound that excited the whole time; she only sounded like an investigator trying to piece a puzzle together.

"Though...I wonder why Sheep guy knows the Madame above us...She's the boss for the traveling carnival...Should we even ask for her help? That would just put her in danger...so no.." Minnie muttered as she tries to make sense with the posters and the names and the bounty.

Ricket's feline mouth quirked into a small smile as Seth declined the robe because of its color before his gaze fell on Sen as he began talking about the cat's guess concerning who would put a bounty on them. He looked thoughtful for a moment before his gaze drifted upwards, his ears twitching and turning as he listened to the voices speaking up above. He honestly didn't know anything about Holt. He primarily survived day-to-day and only recognized the world he lived in and not so much the outside world so 'Holt' held no meaning to him, but he did recognize the sense of admiration derived from the voice speaking about it and realized that it held some meaning, his gaze falling on the two boys curiously, "saved Holt? This big place in outside?"

As the conversation ended above and transferred to something else, Ricket's attention shifted to Minnie as she seemed to be thinking about what had been said. He wondered why someone that had been a savior would be getting pursued so ruthlessly and his ears folded down as his furry brow wrinkled slightly, "maybe write names on posters? Maybe riots make big distraction and can get to governor that way? Make it easier?"

"But people will get hurt in a riot." said Seth. He looked at his brother, then at Minnie. "I guess it's time to come clean. Rrricket, erm, we're not exactly being chased by . . . ordinary villains. Can we tell him before we make more plans? Rrricket deserves it and getting involved like this with a bounty on his head is bad. We have to fix it somehow or you can't live a normal peaceful life here." he added to the bobcat-ish cat.

Some sort of rebellion would be good with Ricket being portrayed as a hero --- or they could stage a fake death for him.

"People will get hurt with bad guys as leaders." Minnie retorted quietly. "Besides, I'm not saying we will be doing that. I'm only putting out one idea as to why we don't see our names on the wanted posters." She would not be surprised if there was rebel group already forming in Agraba.....Maybe she should ask Seth and Ricket if they heard anything about it after reassuring their furry friend.

The little gunner listened to Seth and nodded in agreement. It wouldn't be fair to their kind furry friend who helped them without asking anything back. "I say we should..." She added.

Zer0 Zer0 Roleplay Skittle Roleplay Skittle

Ricket's ears remained folded as he nodded sadly, agreeing with both Seth and Minnie. Though it wasn't much of a change to him, just more people getting hurt all at once than was usual out in the desert. He could go days without seeing anyone and generally when there was a caravan going through, bandits would attack it. He rubbed his arm a little guiltily because he generally took advantage of those situations and would sneak in to take hold of anything of necessity or value that he could from innocent and bandit alike. Ricket's life was very plain. Desert battles may have been an exciting occurrence or a unique and treacherous thing to be written about in stories, but for him it was a way of life, and a way of survival.

His expression turned somewhat serious as Seth continued, worry evident on his face as he listened carefully, his head tilting to the side slightly. He considered his life in the desert up until meeting the trio. Half of his clan had been wiped out by one thing or another and the remainder had scattered throughout the various settlements in the more habitable parts of the desert. It was assimilation and a way for his people to survive, but Ricket didn't like the loud noises of the city. He actually liked the solitude out in the desert, even if it did get lonely sometimes. Those times though he would find an excuse to make the trip to see his relatives that had left the sea of sand in favor of someplace more hospitable, even if the settlements they wound up in weren't always so.

It was easier in a way being out on his own, looking after himself and not having to worry about anyone else. That changed when he met Minnie and the twins, he was reminded of the benefits of companionship and what it meant to have friends and while he hadn't exactly expected to be with them for as long as he had been, he hadn't disliked the time spent either. An awkward smile crossed his lips as the bottoms of his feet pressed against each other, his furry hands grasping his ankles, "you not need tell Rrrrrrricket. Rrrrricket know it's secret business... less Rrrrrrricket know, better. Rrrrrrrricket still help Minnie-it and Same Lookings."

The twins grinned at the feline and punched him as one on the shoulder. "Boy, I think I might just shed a tear or two when we part ways." said Sen; "We'll find a way to get rid of that bounty on you and all our heads, Rrricket." said Seth, draping his arm around him.

The twins looked up as it sounded like the people in the travelling fair were going to bed. "Why don't why try and talk to this Madame Goodhart lady? We can tell her too that we know of a way to get out of the country. I doubt she'd want to stay here where food and water's getting scarcer by the day and everyone's turning on each other because of the war."

Minnie didn't smile but she did nuzzle the feline's head like a cat would. "Promise to help." She muttered before looking up as well and sighed.

"We should be like ninjas when we go up." The little gunner said, now covering her body in the pink robe to hide her hair and face. "Best to do it when people are most likely seen so we don't look suspicious...or we can go and hide in the shadows as we climb the walls?" Suggesting on how to reach the Madame, Minnie thought it's best to plan things over.

Zer0 Zer0 Roleplay Skittle Roleplay Skittle

The feline rocked to the side slightly, releasing an odd sort of chuckle combined with a purr, rubbing the back of his head as Seth draped his arm around him, "Is fine, is fine..." he purred a little more loudly and squinted his golden eyes closed as Minnie nuzzled him, rubbing his head against her, "thank yous, Rrrrrricket make sure yous get out safe too!"

He quieted down as the noise above died down, his ears flattening, but he nodded to the suggestion and chuckled slightly, "it be easier to hide with them if they know we wants to hide," he was still a little embarrassed at getting them all caught and nodded again to Minnie's suggestion.

- Madame Goodhart's Carnival -

" Night time, City of Agraba "

That night, as a singing drunk passed by a shadowed street, two lithe figures emerged from the darkness and dashed across the sandy road to clamber up the side of a brick house; Sen and Seth signaled that the coast was clear and together dropped down into the camp of the travelling fair. The noises in the camp grew louder and louder that night.

The carnival was being constructed in the city square. Tents were being set up by witches waving their wands and lanterns hung on wooden posts. Signs were being repainted and shined by vampire, as stalls were erected near a half-finished ride. The half-giants were setting up the main tent where outside conjurors with their summons practiced their performances, much like the way Johnny would in his free time.

"Madam Goodhart, Madam Goodhart . . . ah, there she is!" pointed Sen at a gypsy lady holding a long tobacco pipe that was smoking out a purple vapor. Even from this distance they can hear her voice dripping with foreign accent. "So, do we just walk up to her, or wait until she's alone?"

Minnie stayed hidden with Ricket until the twins signaled them out and she sauntered out, covered in the pink robe. The little gunner sneaked in to reach the twins, thankful that the carnival is loud by nature. She looked around, amazed with the half-giants setting up the tents and the conjurors practicing with their summons.

When the twins asked, Minnie thought for a moment. "...I don't think she likes surprises..." She said quietly, looking around with just her teal blue eyes in case anybody pays attention to their little group. "Maybe we should go up to her and let her know our intentions."

Zer0 Zer0 Roleplay Skittle Roleplay Skittle

Crouched in the shadows beside Minnie, Ricket couldn't help but enjoy the camaraderie, it was nice working with others when he was so used to working alone. Even when his clan was still whole, it wasn't about working together and watching each other's backs. Everyone acted on their own even though they all enjoyed the spoils together, and when it was the whole group they were usually more picky about who they stole from whereas alone, Ricket couldn't afford to be picky.

After the agile twins had gotten up the wall and signaled to he and Minnie, he remained on all fours and scurried out of the shadows, climbing up the wall in a sort of weird catlike manner until he could perch at the top next to the twins. He quietly observed the scene of the carnival being constructed, his expression not really telling what was going through his head as he watched. His upper lip moved in such a way that pressed his sparse whiskers forwards slightly before he made a slight smacking sound with his mouth and licked his lip, his gaze turning towards the others as he spoke in a hushed tone, "Maybe only one? Only one to go talk? Still dangerous for all... not know who really loyal and who not to Madam-it."

He thought the idea of talking to her immediately was good, but if there were others of her troupe around, he wasn't sure if it would be a good idea because they could tell Agraba's guards and turn them in. He also thought that if they waited until she was alone, the it would be best to only send one so as not to intimidate her, though he didn't really think that a lady like her could be intimidated, it might be more from respect than anything that he made his suggestion.

"Then, how about you go Minnie since you're a girl, but you have to smile." said Sen, lifting the corners of her mouth in a grin. "And not look like you're going to beat someone up."

Seth, who seemed to be doubting that Minnie can pull this off looked to Ricket. "Rrricket, how do desert people generally see your cat-folk people? I mean, maybe a local is more trustworthy, at least you look good-natured."

"Are you saying me and Minnie don't look good natured?" said Sen.

Seth stifled a laugh as an unending list of all the pranks, thievery, smooth lies, and their recent bullying of bandits came to mind. "Yeah." he said simply.

"I can pretend to be an angel, ya know."

"I know, but brother of mine, I have this feeling we shouldn't try to trick them. At least not yet."

Minnie just stared at Sen as he lifted the corners of her mouth, blinking slow and sniffed a bit. Then she placed a gentle hand on his to pull them away. "Fine..."

So she tried to smile; it looked like a grimace as the twins mocked each other. The gunner frowned a bit before trying again and again until she thought of something...

Her lips stretched into a sweet smile as her half-lidded eyes widened, giving her this cute girl smile at Sen. The tone of her voice changed it's pitch too. "Like this, Sen? Seth? Rrrrricket?" She blinked and then shuddered immediately, looking disgusted.

"No...I'll stay the way I am, thank you." Never again. Too. Much. Sweetness. "So should I go with Ricket then? He's cute and fuzzy. I'll just be me." She said quietly, returning to her blank face.

"No, no, just one, Minnie, like Ricket said. We don't want to intimidate Madam Goodhart. And come to think of it, you kind of did pull out a gun." said Seth.

"Too much sweetness?" Sen asked with Minnie. "Erm, maybe a more natural smile like when you were laughing I was rolling pineapple Seth around like a barrel, and less like you're going to murder someone with an ice pick." he chuckled at the memory of the many times he won a bargain because he brought Minnie along and all she had to do was stand there and look at them. "I miss my banana costume."

Across them, Madam Goodhart spoke to someone then rubbed her eyes tiredly. She walked away to one of the caravans where she pulled up a chair and sat to enjoy her pipe, rocking back on the rear legs of her chair absentmindedly.

This area was where the living quarters of the carnival folk seemed to be. There were campfires out and laundry hanging between wagons. There were water jars and colorful canopies stretched out to provide shade in the day. There was even a broom outside and a thick dart board with throwing knives stuck to it. Most of the folk seemed to out building the carnival though, and the only other creatures around were the mermaids sleeping in their screened tanks.

"But I aimed at the floor and I only used my light bullet. I wouldn't harm anyone when it's not needed." Minnie countered quietly, her eyebrow twitched. She looked at Sen again, blinking a bit when he mentioned about the pineapple barrel rolling...

"....Heh..." Minnie let out a light giggle, hiding the small smile with the palm of her hand. Then she tilted her head, her mouth puckered a bit in a small 'O' shape. "...Ice pick?" Ice picks are too messy to use. Unlike her gun that's cleaner and more efficient. She sighed quietly.

"Alright, if Ricket doesn't want to go, then I'll go. Besides she knows Sheep guy...Johnny. She knows Johnny." Minnie mentioned. Then she looked down to the furry cat, waiting on his decision to go or not.

The feline's golden eyes shifted towards Minnie as Sen suggested she be the one to chat with the Madam, taking into consideration what he was saying, looking thoughtful for a moment before chuckling as Sen stretched her mouth into a grin and commented on her beating someone up. His laughter almost increased as Seth's eye turned to him and he quickly ran a paw over his mouth, clearing his throat gently as he shook his head slightly and shrugged, "mmmmnyao.... we sneakiest thieviest... loyal to own..." he glanced up at the night sky in thought, prodding his memory for reactions and rumors regarding his people, "some its like keeping as pets... like small people. Good for money... honest. We loyal to people who pay and try not to take advantage of... disfortunate," he nodded as he tried to summarize the general will of his people and how others look at them.

His gaze turned to Minnie as she managed that sickeningly sweet smile and he flinched slightly, leaning away from her, "bleeeeeeeegh... Minnie-it look... scary," he shivered and chuckled slightly before nodding in agreement with Sen, although he didn't know if he would call that sweet because it looked more murderous than anything, at least Sen covered that in his critique.

He thought for a moment, considering the benefits of him going versus Minnie going. He wasn't as important as the other three and he looked at them in turn as the thought this. They had something bigger they were trying to accomplish than he did, so if he approached Madam Goodhart and she was displeased and called for the guards, then at least they'd still technically be safe. Though the fact that Minnie was a girl might be helpful, he looked at her generally stern expression and quirked an awkward smile. Then he remembered that the Madam had recognized one if not both of the boys and looked at them, "Rrrrrrrricket thinks one of Same Lookings should be going... Madam-it seem to know Same Lookings as heroes... maybe she react better to thems?" he suggested, looking at them each in turn since he still wasn't sure which one she had been talking about, "and she say she knows friend?" he gestured at Minnie, "Sheep Guy-it?"

"Good point, then, Seth, you go." said Sen.

Seth nodded. "Okay, wish me luck. If it's all good I'll rub my finger underneath my nose, if I get in trouble I'm going to hoot once like a barn owl, and twice like a brown owl." he disappeared into the shadows without a sound. After a few minutes, he reappeared a respectful distance in front of Madam Goodhart, and the lady, surprised, stood up, chair clattering down.

It was too far to hear, but Seth was behaving as meek as a shy lad on his first day of school and as humble as a potato on the side of a baked chicken with meat so tender it falls off the bones. At first she was suspicious, then she listened some more, and soon she was pondering on Seth's words as he stopped talking and waited hopefully.

She gestured him to come inside her caravan --- Seth was happy and inconspicuously rubbed his nose with a finger.

Inside, Madam Goodhart's caravan was a humid space, enchanted to appear bigger so that it was like they were in a room that's a mix between an antique shop, and a voodoo woman's shack in the bayou. There was a bubbling cauldron that was emitting a very thick smelling purple perfume that made one a little light headed. Seth sat on a stool as she poured some of that perfume smelling brew in five old porcelain cups on the table.

"So, you four are in fact wanted, but not for a crime?" she said when everyone settled in. "I am Madam Goodhart, master of zis travailing faire. Tell me, 'ow is Johnny and Butters, I was 'oping he was with you." she looked over them with testing eyes as she sipped her cup.

Minnie watched Seth go disappearing and reappearing like a ninja, slapping her forehead and groaned quietly. They just agreed to not surprise her and yet he still surprised her. "...Why Seth? Why?" She muttered before paying close attention for the signal...

There it is.

So Minnie walked in with Seth and Ricket, sniffing and sneezing loudly from the purple perfume and coughed once. This stuff is strong-! Geez...Though she was interested in the voodoo and antique items, wondering what they were and hoping the twins don't touch it. If they were, she'd slap their hands away with a bit of a glare.

Then she softened up her features when she looked at the Madame. Minnie stayed on her feet as she mutters. "I'm Minnie and I'm their," She pointed at the twins. "secretary for a guild. Johnny is finally talking and dating a girl while Butters is Butters. Right now...I don't have a clue if they are fine or not, but I do know that they are off in a perlious journey that I cannot say since I don't know much about it either." She looked at the twins who knew more about what's going on with the group leaving to...somewhere. Then Minnie sighed, facing the Madame.

"Yes...we're wanted but not because of a crime." She said quietly but truthfully.

Ricket crossed his fingers and gave Seth a hopeful look and encouraging nod as he saw him off on his task. He watched in silence as Seth conversed with the Madam and smiled brightly when Seth made the gesture to beckon them over. He paced himself alongside Minnie, not wanting to seem to overly eager and remained cautious and aware of his surroundings to make sure no one saw them going in the caravan. He stayed quiet once inside, letting the Humans do the talking. He wasn't sure of the strange perfumey drink and it kind of agitated his sensitive feline nose so he opted not to drink after sneezing a few times. He didn't like the light headed feeling that even smelling it gave him.

As the twins explained their situation in a roundabout way, something odd started to happen. They were getting drowsy. Perhaps it was the heavy fumes, or the construction going on in the distance, but Ricket and Minnie never heard the doorknob turning, the door opening, and quiet footsteps enter the caravan.

Thud

Sharp pain shot up from the base of their skulls and stars exploded into their vision, before the feline and the gunner blacked out.

The four would wake up to an upside down world, a throbbing pain at the back of their heads and a close, too close view of a needle tip just a few millimeters from one of their eyes. They seemed to be in the center of construction, in what was probably the main tent. They were tied separately and hanging from the support beams.

"Johnny dating a girl? 'Oo must be joking!" said the voice of Madam Goodhart. "Zat boy cannot even stand the touch of girls wizout passing out. Now, talk, who are you and why are you pretending to be Seth and Sen Pendragon?"

The four would notice that they were disarmed, and even Luthien was gone. Around Madam Goodhart were the vampires all grim-faced with their arms crossed.

Katsuya Katsuya Roleplay Skittle Roleplay Skittle

Minnie groaned quietly when she woke up, wincing from the pain in the back of her head. Blinking a few times, she realized that she's hanging upside-down and there's a needle very close to her eye...

That's not good...

As she listened to Madame Goodhart, the little gunner blinked before narrowing her eyes a bit. A set frown appeared on her round face. "We wouldn't lie to Johnny's soon to be mentor for a couple of years. What's the point of coming out to you when there's a risk of being killed? And I don't mean by just you, Madame. I mean by the ones who's looking for us too."

She hated this. She really hated being caught off guard and not being able to do anything about it.

"If Johnny's really your student, then you would know that hanging people upside down and sticking a needle in their eye when they are not lying is completely rude. Totally and utterly rude-! I know Johnny is not rude. Even when he's scared, Johnny would still help me and I'm not even his girlfriend. How long ago did you get in contact with him? Before coming to Jahara?"

Minnie must be really angry if she's talking this much.

Zer0 Zer0 Roleplay Skittle Roleplay Skittle

If not for the sharp pain, Ricket likely would have just fallen into a cat nap. He wasn't participating in the conversation so he could have been more on guard than he actually was. His eyes rolled back when the unseen culprits knocked him out and coming to upside down was definitely not the highlight of his day. His eyes slowly opened and he moved to shake his head, but either the throbbing at the back of it or the fact that he was hanging upside down made him feel woozy; which was probably a good thing because of the needle aimed at his eye, which he decided to shut, not that it would make him any less likely to have his eye poked out, but at least he wouldn't be staring it down. He sighed as he looked around with his one open eye, if it wasn't one thing it was another. Just how many people in a land that didn't know who these three were for the most part or even that they were here - were going to come after them?

Again Ricket stayed quiet, he opted not to try and shift to look at Minnie, instead just looking straight ahead as he listened to her angrily but somehow calmly state her opinion on everything. He really couldn't say anything in their defense, he had to keep reminding himself that he didn't really know them, but when Minnie reached the end of her short speech, he chimed in, "Rrrrrrricket not know who 'Seth and Sen Pendragon' are... but Rrrrrrricket know this Sen-it and Seth-it... and they's good... they's very good," he smiled slightly as he remembered their first encounter, "Minnie-it good too... she take care of Seth-it and Sen-it."

There really wasn't anything more he could say in their favor, but what he hoped the Madam understood was that he hadn't even known who they were before and was just helping them because they needed help, "asides.... if they pretending to be 'Seth and Sen Pendragon,' shouldn't they stopped? It only cause trouble... and posters not have names... not have names maybe because they really 'Seth and Sen Pendragon,' heroes of Holt... people not like baddies be mean to heroes," everything was spoken matter-of-factly, as though he wondered why they hadn't thought of that, "maybe people make big fight if they know baddies be mean to heroes..."
