Karma had easily fell into what could only be described as a spell. None of this felt real. He felt as if any minute now, he would wake up to his bedroom back in his parent's home. He could mentally comment on how strange his dream was before getting himself up and ready for the day. But he knew it was all very real, and could not properly comprehend that. His mind made him think that he was simply just an outsider looking through a different lens. It was like his body was moving on its own, which made his actions seem out of character. Karma leaned into the hug and placed his head on the crook of Xander's neck. His eyes closing as he relaxed into his hold. He did not move for a while. This was too peaceful for him to just break away. A good minute or two had passed before Karma had pulled away. Although he had felt better, his face was still empty and numb as he gave him an empty smile.
"I know you said that I have to sleep in a bed, but I am completely content with the floor," Karma says with a tone of "matter-of-fact" in his voice, showing that he was coming back around to his old self. He did not want to worry Xander too much. Although it was difficult right now, he knew that he would get over it eventually. “I’ll be closer to the outlet that way. I often get emergency nightly call-ins from work, so I can just hurry and leave if need be," he says, however that was only partially true. He did have emergency call-ins, however it was never for his partial job at the hospital. In order to keep himself from being thrown out of heaven's gates, he had to accomplish a mission sent from either God or the arc angel he had accompanied, Michael. Of course, he could not openly tell Xander that. What normal human would believe that angels truly exist, and walk among them so easily.
Once Xander had gathered everything, Karma had followed the other upstairs. However as soon as the demon tried to grab his hand, Karma moved his hand away from him before he could even brush his fingertips across his icy skin. "Nope, nice try," he says as adjusted his pajama shirt. Even while wearing sleepwear, Karma had always tried to make the cloth as non-wrinkly as he could. "You've gave me physical affection four times today. That means four months of no touching," he says coldly with a subtle push of his circular glasses. After climbing up the stairs, Karma moved his hands behind his head and pulled the white hair barrette out of his ponytail. Allowing his platinum hair to fall on his shoulders and help relax the roots of his hair.
For Karma, the red decorated room was nothing but normal. Although the color red had usually signified sin or lust, but he knew that it was one of Xander's favorite colors, and had never commented on it. After all, he did not want the other to think of him as more strange than he already was. Although Xander had lead him towards the bed, he quickly dodged its direction and plopped himself onto the floor. He sprawled out his legs and arms. Letting his aching joints to rest for a moment or two before finally grabbing a slice of pizza. "Is that the game with all of the weird masked people?" Karma asked. It was clear that he only remembered the video game vaguely, for he had no true interest in playing it. Only to watch Xander have fun. "Ah, thanks," he responds as he grabbed his book and placed it besides him.
