Nodding a bit, she smiled, part of her feeling slightly special. "Well I'm glad you can talk to me," she told him before finally standing up. Pushing the glasses ho her nose, she walked over so she was next to him and stared outside. There wasn't many things to look at but she had to admit, she felt at ease.

Magnus continue to stare outside the window. He didn't even move when Avalon stood right next to him, what could he say to her? She could look out as much as she wanted, he couldn't say anything to her at all, she could do whatever she wanted. "This kinda feels serene, just looking outside from here." He commented.

Nodding silently, Avalon kept quiet as she looked around. "There's not much to look at but I know what you mean," she told him truthfully as she finally looked up at him. "It just possesses a kind of peace that nothing else can quite obtain. I like it."

Magnus nodded at her. He knew that she was correct with what she said. "I guess this could be one of those things that I really like to do." He admitted. He wasn't afraid to say it because if he liked something, he should just say it not deny it.

Smiling at his words, she turns and returns to her bed, laying down and grabbing a ponytail holder. Throwing her hair up, she crosses her legs as she allows her thoughts to wander. "Yeah yeah I understand plenty since well...fire can do quite a lot of damage but y'know what can you do?" she said shrugging and turning her attention to Demi who seemed to be looking for a dorm mate,she didn't seem like the type to invade personal space so why not.Atreo walked towards Demi looking her over slightly,she wasn't a physical threat and didn't seem to be agressive "Well I need a dorm mate,you need a dorm mate so we can dorm together yeh?" she said holding her hand out for a shake signifying she currently had no foul intentions.

"Sure, I guess this works," Demi shook her hand, before looking around at all the unclaimed doors. She noticed some towards the back and started that way, feigning confidence she would never have. "Alright, this one seems good," she walked into one identical to all the others, throwing her stuff on the bed. No windows, which was to be expected since they were in the basement of a basement, but nevertheless she felt slightly wary of not seeing the sunlight. @ManyFaces

"Well...what kind of things have you done in life?" She asked him as she turns on her side and uses her elbow to hold her head up. "Like activities?" She added with a smile. "You can't really dislike things if you don't know what it's like."

Atreo left Mason and Varaka with a nod,after watching Demi pick the room she followed after her taking the other bed.Atreo pressed her hand against her forehead and groaned "Oi I go to school in hopes of a change of scenery and the living quarters are just as dark as home.." she said talking out loud.She snapped and in a puff a smoke two humanoid owl creatures appeard by her side,they scrambled to their feet turning toward her and saluting "Tick" said the owl that had a more yellow tint,"And Tock" said the owl looking more of a dark blue color "Reporting for duty your fieryness" both owls said before relaxing some."Tick...Tock you've got a simple task fix up my side of the room and i'll go and look at the living space" she said to her minions who nodded and watched her move on to the next room,instantly they looked at Demi "Who and what are you and ooh what's with the jewelery" both of them asked.

Demi grabbed her necklace, and her shadow appeared. "Stay," she mumbled, letting go of her necklace. For once, the shadow didn't disappear, merely walked around the walls, reaching for things pressed against it and picking them up curiously. It looked off task to anyone glancing it, but Demi knew a demon dragged out of the darkest pit of hell could disintegrate Tick and Tock at a moment's notice. "I am Demi, and you little freaks need to mind your own business," she muttered. @ManyFaces

Tick hid behind Tock "Well you don't have to be so mean" he said sticking his owl tongue out at her and eyeing her shadow none to intent on getting close to it,after his taunt both of them dissappeared and came back with 3 suitcases each which they promptly set on the bed Atreo claimed,Tock smiled and looked at Tick "She didn't say we had to set everything up" he said to Tick who smiled back and they sat down on the bed feeling it "Wow this is bouncy" Tock said getting up and jumping on the bed with Tick.

Demi rolled her eyes. "You guys disappear, right?" She pleaded, not wanting to listen to the annoyances for any longer than absolutely necessary. "Don't you poof away once your job is done?" Demi began pulling things out of her bag to put into drawers. Incense, special candles, some clothes, an ancient book her mother had given her, and a couple other pieces of jewelry that could probably destroy the world if she used them wrong. @ManyFaces

Atreo came back to the bedroom once she had gone around the other rooms checking them out,she had a relatively pleased look on her face until she saw Tick and Tock jumping on her bed with her things still unset.Atreo smiled and roughly grabbed Tick and Tock in her hands "You guys did such a great job that i'm going to reward you!" she said causing Tick and Tocks eyes to light up despite Atreos tight grip which was crushing them.Atreo left to the room furthest from theirs and threw Tick and Tock down "Uh so,where's the reward?" Tick said,"Oh i'm so glad you asked!You had one job a simple job and you couldn't even do THAT!!" she shouted chewing them out while her head and hair region went from cool blue to a fiery orange,Tick and Tock looked ready to give an excuse but Atreo fried them causing the dorm to get a heatwave and some smoke,she quickly dismissed Tick and Tock back to The Underworld and left the room now with scorch marks back to the bedroom "If you've got a problem with the heat or smoke open the door" she said to Demi and muttering something about if something needs to be done right you've got to do it yourself.(give or take the beds how do you like this layout https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSACzi1362AK3sUGTpFEbW5wQeq2D-77VmhBz22Wfd8ywm_xpr2 ?Also sorry for the long post)

Hearing her Roommate crawl around on all fours and all over the room didn't really bother her. Even without her weapons, Jessica showed little to no sign of fear. Whatever the Xenomorph had in mind, Jessica was ready for it. When she left, Jessica decided to go ahead and call Daddy for her weapons, which was not really much; all she really needed was her Handguns, a Combat Knife, her Utility Belt, Ammo Bag and maybe some of her Combat Gear. Besides that, she could fight hand to hand if needed.

Varaka then skulks about the shadows, and poked Jessica with her tail to get her attention. She was not one to draw attention to herself, especially from everyone else. She then goes into their room, and found that it had a Xenomorph nest-like feel to it on one side of the room, where the other side was normal. Though decrepit looking and had a feeling of fear that is brought unto those who gaze upon it, The nest reminded her of home, of course, being the only Tarkatan Xenomorph to have ever popped her way into the world, she was tougher than her worker-bee sisters, who were the original breed. (and just to clear things up, All Xenomorphs are genetically female. NO MALES EXIST! Except for the man-made Xenomorph King, who was killed by a Queen, since she was way smarter.)

Kyle looked up from the device he was soldering. It'd been an hour, and Valentine had still not returned. He wondered whether he should be concerned or indifferent.


The walls around him must've been rather thin, since Kyle could hear muffled segments of conversations drifting through them as he worked - even now. Kyle folded his arms and stared up at the concrete that the desk was pressed against.


After a moment, he rose from the chair and shoved the desk aside before reaching for what looked like a flattened metal cube from under his bed. Striding up to the wall, he placed the metal plate in the center - which immediately stuck to the wall and began expanding, until the entire section of the wall was lined with it.


Minutes later, all the walls were reinforced, an expanded steel column kept the ceiling thoroughly up-hoisted, the air vents were ridiculously nailed to the ducts and several deployed shields were facing the doorway. Kyle stood in the middle of the room to admire his handywork. He considered barricading the door, but a part of him would've felt guilty for locking out Valentine. It was unlikely anyone here who wanted to kill someone would enter through the front door anyhow.


Either way, he'd rigged every inch of the entrance with motion sensors. Just in case.


After he was finally satisfied, Kyle collapsed onto his claimed bed, not even changing out of his clothes. "Paranoid? Ha." He muttered into his pillow. "No paranoid person is this prepared." And as he convinced himself of his sanity, he drifted off.

Valentine returned to the room followed by an abomination of sorts, some amorphous animal that didn't belong. On the beast's back was a tub of dark red liquid. Valentine took the tub and slid it under her bed before looking around. "I see you've done some major changes while I'm gone. Oh yeah you might have trouble sleeping, nightmares tend to follow me." She said as she laid down on her bed. The massive creature somehow managed to crawl under her bed and fit without even a tentacle sliding out.

Atreo looked at Demi from the corner of her eyes so she could multitask by unpacking and talking at the same time,"Well good for you,i'm guessing you sold your soul for powers or something of that sort?" she said unpacking one of her small cases which contained a few books,a stress ball,a lyre,and an ouji board.Atreo put the stuff on and in her nightstand hastily then looked at the other cases,she could take care of that another day.

Running for me is a necessity. Not an enjoyment," she said with a small laugh as she laid back and rested her head on her folded hands. "I'm a fan of roller coasters myself. Just the thrill and the freedom they possess is great."

The next day, the intercom booms with the voice of Hannibal Lecter, as he said "Good morning students! Today is the day that we will initiate you into our little family. Report out front for a debrief." he said as the intercom then went silent.
