Besides, from what I can tell, I'm the only one you can even slightly stand," Avalon said with a small laugh, silently taking note of a small smile trying to make itself known, though he wasn't letting it. "You'll be fine. I'm not that bad of a roommate. I mean I've been charged with making some pretty mean sweets, but that's about it," she said before standing up with a nod. She turned to walk away, but stopped, turning to face him once again. "And just so you know, whether it's your personality or not, smiling isn't always a bad thing," she finally says before placing her knife in her boot and smiling.

Magnus stood up before stretching a little, he always did it when after standing up from sitting down. "It would seem you misunderstood, I accepted the proposal to room with you, the only thing I have problem with is that there would be times when I wouldn't sleep and stay up all night." He responded to her. He always have had trouble sleeping, sometimes he would only sleep 4-5 hours the most. "I wouldn't want to ruin your beauty sleep." He joked. It was a dry up joke but at least he was trying to joke. @JaneXJeff

Coal felt cornered for some reason, this was all too good.... Something was up. "You don't even know know me." Coal looked her over with a questionable look in his eyes. He glanced at a few students around them as he gathered words confirming the fact that the dorms were co-ed. He still had a lot to learn about the school, Kaylee tricked him and with everything moving this fast wasn't helping. "Why can't we stay at home?... If home is a few blocks away?" He questioned. He figured he wouldn't get an answer but it was worth the shot.

She raised an eyebrow, "You intrigue me. You're..." She paused, searching for a word, "fascinating. Unique. Different." She smiled coyly, "and you aren't bad on the eyes." She giggled, "Just stay with me," she looked up at him pleadingly, "Please? Don't make me sleep all alone."

Coal leaned back a bit as Violet answered his question. He was actually shocked by her response. She thought he was interesting, unique, different? He never was complimented like that before. He didn't even understand how she got all those things from just meeting him. He slowly nodded to her proposal about being room mates. "O...K...." Coal's mind already was racing now on the fact that he just agreed to share a room with a girl, not just any girl, Violet Grey.


Yeah his friends back in New York will seriously call him a liar over this.


Now Coal was seriously lost for words. So instead he just went quiet and looked back around at the other students. He shoved both hands in his pockets and tried hard not to make eye contact with Violet at the moment. He was finding it extremely hard not to look at her. She called him easy on the eyes.... He wondered if Violet ever looked in a mirror.... Like ever? If she did then she knew how hot she looked compared to himself. She was out of his league, but here they were. She still had a hold on his arm and now they were room mates. Coal was tempted to shock himself in hopes of clearing his mind.

She looked up at him, her baby blues (well, baby blue and gold) eyes looking sweet and innocent as can be.

Did she say cuddling? Coal let his eyes shift around at the other students hoping that they didn't attract any attention.


Coal shook his head no when she asked if he minded. He really didn't, but he wasn't thinking about cuddling.......


Coal looked back to Violet meeting her blue and gold eyes with his gray ones. She was more then hitting on him. At first he thought it was a joke or maybe she just wanted to tease someone, but no. The look in her eyes told him that she actually liked him..... And he didn't even understand why she picked him. Well she complimented him about being different..... How different was he?

Magnus walked besides her, shaking his head. "I myself wake up at 3 or 4am every day, it's a thing." As he said, the max he slept sometimes was 3-4 so he didn't mind if she worked in the morning. "I don't exercise, I just like waking up at that hour." He explained.

And for deciding on rooms, you just write your names on the slates next to the doors, and it will be final, as it will turn from a black board, to a metal plaque. All rooms are the same, until its occupants move in. There you can personalize it however you want." Hannibal said with a smile as he puts his hands in his pockets. She finally chose one near the end of the hallway and looked over her shoulder at Magnus. "Okay with you?"

After realizing that she liked him, he wasn't sure how to act. What if he did something wrong and she hated him for it. To him girls were a fine line. One false move and you're done. And Violet was a rare line for him.


Coal would try his best not to mess this up. He motioned towards the dorms. "It looks like everyone is picking out their rooms now. He had to draw his mind's attention on something else. The more Violet asked him questions the more he would feel nervous.... And the more he got nervous.. He felt another shock under his skin... This time his left hand.

Coal followed Violet blindly. He could really care less as to what room they got. At the moment he was still trying to distract his mind from Violet. Not in a bad way, more so that his emotions and powers wouldn't get the best of him. This was an on going process, he's been dealing with this sort of thing ever since he was child and found out about his powers. It was something he could never really figure out on how to control.


As they trailed over the different rooms Coal glanced over his shoulder and still saw most of the student body still figuring out who was going to room with whom. He looked back to Violet and gave her a small smile as he looked down to her hand still holding his. He had to be the luckiest person at the school at this moment. He wasn't even on the school grounds for more then a minute when Violet ran into him. It's weird how somethings just work out for some.
