Avalon quickly followed behind him before finally getting tired of running to keep up with him. Grabbing his arm, she tries to slow him down but with little effort. Take a few deep breaths and relax. I agree that he's an asshole but he's not worth the time it would take to kill him, or lack thereof."

He can take powers by killing people, big deal. I CAN'T DIE! EVERY TIME I DO, I COME BACK!" he signed, his body language showing sudden fury.

Letting out a soft sigh, Avalon shook her head a bit. "I can't say what I don't want to see because I don't know what to expect. But if I know anything, it's that I don't care what's underneath this mask. All they see you for is murdering for no reason but I know better than that. Even if you don't talk, it's all over your body language. You have feelings too whether you think so or not and right now you're taking you're frustrations out on me. If I was anything like them I would have left by now, but I haven't because believe it or not, you have a friend in me and don't make me start singing that dreaded Toy Story song," she vented as she crossed her arms. Her curiosity finally took over and before she could stop herself, she slowly reached up and peeled away the mask, bracing herself for what she may see.

As she pulled off his mask, his face came into view. his dead eyes meeting hers as the mask was removed. He was not so bad now, but just wait until he is resurrected, that is when the horror takes its form. "Happy now? Or are you gonna keep staring?"

He puts the mask on, and looked at her. "Quite the looker, eh? I assume lots of people stare at you?" mason signed as he crossed his arms. HE did not like that fact that she was getting rather sassy to him. But, that is what happens when you get sassy in the first place.

"If they do then I don't know about it, just like if they are attracted to me in any way then I don't know about it," she added as she watched him put the mask back on.

Avalon couldn't stop the blush that grazed her cheeks. She had never really been complimented before. Nodding her head, she turned and walked back to the building with him silently, her head down the whole time and watched the small stones passing.

Jackson didn't really even do anything wrong, he just brought up some argument and the little kid who doesn't even know how to speak threw a fit. He simply sits back down on the bench, a small smirk remaining across his face.

Granted - it probably wouldn't of taken much to piss off the hockey dude anyway. Kyle made a mental note that he should find a different place to be in if those two managed to find themselves in the same room.

Mason and Avalon were at the gates as soon as she finished her sentence, and then varaka was seen scaring off an imp who was playing with her tail. "Do not touch my tail! It is very sensitive!" She screamed via mindspeak. Mason had heard it, and managed to take the splitting headache, since he has pain immunity. He enjoyed not being able to feel hurt, but it comes at a price, emotionally. Mason walked to varaka, who looked at him before hissing. She had gained a basic outline of what he looked like, and will remember him by his mask.

There wasn't a big difference between LA and New York. New faces and streets, in Coal's eyes a city was a city. Tall buildings and people never sleeping created such an atmosphere. His eyes wandered around as he scuffed his feet along the back allies. Kaylee his guardian had decided on the movie without really asking him how he felt about it. He didn't mind it, but felt like she was up to something.


He looked at the paper once more before letting out a huff of air and reaching for his phone. Looking it over he grumbled as he was already late on his first day. He had debated in his head a few times weather or not to even go to the school. The location of it was already sketchy to him, like Brooklyn sketchy. He looked back to his phone and read over a text that Kaylee has sent him.


Kaylle was not Coal's mom, she wasn't even related. She was his mom's best friend at one point..... And then she was stuck with him. Or he was stuck with her. The two acted more like brother and sister. For the most part they got along, but when they argued it was like hell on earth.


Coal responded to her text with a small roll in his eyes before placing the phone away. He looked back to the paper and tilted his head a bit. He looked around with a bit of confusion. The area wasn't all that populated and seemed more like the gloomy dark allies in New York. Pretty much the areas where all the trouble makers and murderers lived... Or hung around. But this didn't bother him. By his looks people would mistaken him as weak, only to be educated with a bit of shock. so this kind of area didn't scare him.


Coal didn't even know how close he was to the school... Probably because he was actually looking for a normal school.... Kaylee never did tell him why they moved. She had found out about the school and thought it would be best for him to go. So when she gave him the directions... Well she wanted it to be a surprise.
