The fly that is too awesome for the wall
@StoneWolf18 I have couple final exams tomorrow so I don't know how much I'll be posting from now until then. I'll try to get on as much as possible in my study breaks though.

Alright, that's fine. ^^Khaz said:@StoneWolf18 I have couple final exams tomorrow so I don't know how much I'll be posting from now until then. I'll try to get on as much as possible in my study breaks though.
I'm not sure if this was intended but it seemed a bit hostile...NeverBetter said:There are likely guards roaming the halls and the outdoors in great supply. Most Malnourished children can barely walk, let alone run and run quietly and stealthily, Sandrew is a special case because Stealth is sort of his special skill, but he can't make people around him hide perfectly like him. There isn't an effective exit from the building that won't get them caught out by guards.
At least hidden in a room, they stand a chance, because they don't know where the room is.
Reguardless, as there are no orphans in the room (I counted Violet and Rustic out because I didn't want to interfere with their plans) it doesn't matter.
No way. I didn't think you came off as an asshole at all. I actually enjoy the fact that you're trying to interact and be part of the roleplay when you can.StoneWolf18 said:I'm not sure if this was intended but it seemed a bit hostile...
Do I come off as an asshole to you guys? That kinda happens when I meet new people... >.<
Khaz said:Yeah, I agree.... I kinda thought that's what we were all leading to... like pretty much all the characters are super young and super weak, no matter how magical they are I don't think trapping themselves underground and fighting is logical... but thats just me.
I wasn't trying to be hostile, sorry if i sounded like I were. When it comes to my characters, I very quickly analyze how they act and try and explain it, sometimes i word it poorly. It was more in the intent of explaining than being mean-spirited. You didn't do anything wrong. I just get super serious when trying to explain myself xDStoneWolf18 said:I'm not sure if this was intended but it seemed a bit hostile...

Gotchya gotchya. Now that I know what your thinking is I have a sense of what my characters going to do.NeverBetter said:Running out there will only get people caught, at least from Sandrew's POV. Sandrew only ran out to try and find anyone so he could bring them back and hide. Should they need to run, Sandrew has control over earth magic and they can leave the room at any time afterwards should need be, but as the Guard have no idea where the room is, in theory, just hiding out would be the most logical thought process. Can't find what isn't there doesn't apply when it's just slightly to the left of your field of vision. But when there is nothing to be found, in a sense. Also, if they DO find the room, their cover is blown and they have to make a run for it anyway to some place safe. Sandrew knows that the Royals won't be too kind to him and his friends, even if he never stole, he was at least involved with them. At that, he doesn't want anyone to be captured either, as that would endanger their life as well as anyone on a rescue team, should one form, to save them.
In a sense, staying in that location is likely safer than running about where prying eyes can see, because the prying eyes have no reason to suspect the place they call home as it's specific location, especially with the door earthed up. Whereas if they see one of the Orphans out and about in the castle or world, they could be captured, thus bringing more issue.
Also, mind you, Sandrew's fight or flight response is to flee. It may not be the most logical action, but he's scared, afraid, and he doesn't know what to do with the whole team split up like it were. He's not the leader, and arguably, being one of the more recent additions, is one of the least experienced. He's a fourteen year old child with the social skills and mental processes of a normal fourteen year old. He's scared. He doesn't know the best course of action.
Say, if Derik were an Orphan instead, he would have responded with getting everyone out of there, because he trust his skills to combat the Royal Guard and get them out safely. But Sandrew is no Derik.
I'm just awaiting for replies for my first round of combat. Or for the Knight who saw Sandrew, hopefully the update comes after them.Pashpu said:There will be an interesting update some time tomorrow, just letting everyone know

@CHIMNY
My blood boils. And if you let your guard down, I will hit you with the most devestating attack known to man kind. Face me on the field of battle like a horse man! ...Demon... hellspawn... magic... thing.
God damn wizards.

I can understand that. I think as a new player entering the roleplay you have to actively interact with some character somehow if you want to get replies. Try initiating the conversation instead of waiting, maybe. Also I think unfortunately people might be a bit turned off by your posts because the detail isn't too muchLighthouse8477 said:I am trying but no one is putting me into their stories so I have to remain a random entity a wraith who walks between all the stories doing stuff because I can't have my character doing nothing. I didn't kill the guards I knocked them out however I understand your point.
