"It's not pretty, but it did move whit it's own motor week before we joined when i moved it to here from last place where we lived."
Hanah stayes silent how she had get parts or gasoline to it or even about fact that she doesn't have driving licence yet. She opened driver's door and then opened side door from inside.

The experiment smiled as he continued to walk forwards. He was almost there to where his opponent was standing. However, he made no changes to his speed. All he did was extract both hands from his pocket, showing the pale white skin his adversary. "Take a good look at my hands." There was nothing abnormal about his hands except for how unordinary and pale the were. It was also possible to see his red eyes at this point. "I'm not an esper, and clearly you aren't one either. You're different."

At this point, the experiment was only about five feet from the poltergeist. Now he stopped walking. His wrists flexed slightly as the wind began to pick up. "Oh, I get it why you haven't moved. You're baiting me. Most run at the sight of me. They know I can simply change the velocity of their body so they die of G-forces. I don't know anything about paranormal studies, but you're obviously baiting me. You have some trick up your sleeve, that likely won't work. Is this the game you're playing at with me?" The experiment smiled. He almost started laughing. "You're meddling with things you understand. Go home. You have no place here."

Poltergeist was genuinely shocked. Not at the fact that the experiment had called his bait, because that was all well and good since the bait appeared to be working perfectly anyway.

He was shocked at the other thing he said.
"W..what do you mean I'm not an esper? And why did you bring up paranormals?!"
He had always assumed that telekinesis was a power exclusive to espers, and it's not like he was an ACTUAL ghost or paranormal being...right? He knew the glowing stuff in his blood that appeared was pretty odd compared to other espers, but that's still how this whole category worked, right?! The experiment clearly had more knowledge than he did.

Either way, no matter what response he got, he had to make sure he was able to execute his plan. The experiment had already begun to take the bait despite having called it out, and now he had to aso prepare for a possible G-force attack done by changing his body's velocity.

Riley Ackerson :: 1000 Degree Knife
"Oh, come on, this piece of junk?" Riley sighed heavily and closed her eyes, taking a minute to take in what just happened. The house looked absolutely unclean, something that Riley could never stand. "Can we just take that thing to HQ to get it fixed up? Clearly you two don't know what you're doing, that thing even looks dangerous!"

Riley reluctantly walked into the van and took a seat inside without saying another word. She crossed her arms and looked at Banjo. "Can't believe you're about to get in this rickety thing too."

The experiment shook his head. "There are things in that laboratory, kid. Nothing like you, but fucked up versions of that." He raised a hand and thrusted it outwards. However, instead of a shockwave of death or everything in the immediate vicinity disintegrating, nothing happened. "I've been observing your telekinetic abilities. They work similar to a muscle. You aren't using your mind." The experiment crossed his arms. "Your telekinesis isn't normal. It doesn't seem to have the same grip on my head that that girl's did. Something to do with psychic abilities, wasn't it? Aren't you a psychic?"

The experiment had almost forgotten this was a battle. Yet such an intriguing specimen had managed to show up in his location. "Now, either I take you in right now, or you somehow manage to slip between my fingers and find your way out." The experiment grinned before grabbing his head. "Espers are such a pain. You're a different kind of pain." He then closed his eyes, in anticipation of any sort of attack.

Banjo would enter the van and sat next to Riley. "I mean it beats waiting for a bus right? What hero takes a bus? Least we got some transportation. Thanks for the lift you two," he says to the two. Despite how... old it was the option was still better than having to walk or god forbid take a public bus.

Poltergeist exhaled slowly. There was no point attacking right now, since his plan required the experiment to attack first. He was honestly more worried with the fact that he apparently knew jack shit about his own abilities. Now he was possibly a phsycic?! Heck, he didn't know anymore.
"If I go with you right now, the guys at that laboratory will tell me how I actually work?"
This could still somehow be considered a victory for Eryn, as he would be both learning what his powers actually were along with temporarily getting the experiment off of the streets to prevent more damage for now.

The experiment simply laughed. "Normally I would allow people, but after I've seen what you're capable of, you're not any use to me at the moment. The laboratory is only interested in turning those with power into Gods. KISS." After the experiment uttered such an awkward phrase, he went back to explaining the acronym. "Kendrickson Institution of Scientific Studies. Either you go there, or you can go dig up the corpse of the esper to perform a proper autopsy. You know, just to find out what's going on. "

He dropped a piece of paper and pointed to the man in the building. The other guy who came along with them.
"You might need your friend's help. He looks like a sensible young man." The experiment then leapt into the air, throwing himself high into the atmosphere before flying backwards into the horizon.

Hanah felt bad from cruel words that Riley had said about their home, it had been days from when they had left. Hanah ignited engine and started driving towards HQ. When she drived there didn't come out lot of noises, loudest noise come from capinet where was plates. Hanah had done extra work to make their home quiet as she often moved it at night when Fayette slept.
"That was mean to say to Linda! She's only thing that we have from Mom!"
Fayette turned to Gum
"Thanks! Big Sis, show them what Linda can do!"
"Umm... Sit down and put your seat belt on."

Poltergeist was confused by the KISS acronym even after it had been explained. Why would anyone allow such a name to be chosen for what seemed like a place that was meant to be intimidating?!

The experiment left and there wasn't much he could do to stop that. He picked up the piece of paper and pocketed it for him to check later.

He reached the building that Jack-O-Lite had gotten trapped in. He was about to enter when the guy exited and barged past him. The pumpkin head was evidently pissed if enough to even bother with acknowledging poltergeist.

This was a weird night. He started heading home to rest while taking a look at the dropped piece of paper to see exactly what it was.

Poltergeist stared at the address.
....well shit, looks like he wouldn't be going home just yet. Time for another detour.

He checked the location on Coogle maps on his phone and headed off in that direction.

....goddammit, he still had homework to do.

  • Midnight Snack

    Kal Tetsusaki

Even as he neared- Kal could hear beats drop and music flow. Midnight Snack was a snazzy little club. Had the most customers, the most activity in the night, and the best alcohol you could find. Kal had only been here once, and it'd been a year ago under a different name. Back then in the chilly filled nights of November , Fuzion had been helping the cops track down some heavy guarded drug dealer.

The disinterest in his eyes flashed away for a brief second as he recalled the look on Quincy's face when he found out one of his best guards had been in league with the freaking law. It'd been priceless, and what's more he made sure the cops hadn't gotten his real name when wiring over the payment for the help.

    "Hey."

Kal's eyes lifted to the bouncers, both men, one with uncombed blonde hair, the other clean shaven and bald. Both wore thick black jackets; the blonde was a bit on the lean side while the clean shaven next to him was on the more rotund. Both stood about two inches away, taller and one had his attention on the line Kal had completely ignored.

"Get back in line kid", the blonde ordered. "These people gotta wait, then so do you."

"I'm on the list." Kal replied coolly. "Take a look. Dmitri Torenburn." He was met with narrowed eyes and a skeptical brow. The baldy had finally turned his attention away from the crowd and now had his hand on a communicator.

Kal raised both his hands in a sign of submission. "Go on--" he gestured with a shrug, eyes moving to the clipboard of special guests the blonde held "--take a look, and if my name's not there I'll leave."

Blonde scowled but didn't say anything more. The line was growing restless, people were shooting Kal glares and impatient stares, and the buzz of murmur was starting to rise. Most were probably ticked off he'd just walked right past the red line and made his way towards the building like he owned the place. Which in truth, he sort of did, but not really. All it took was one call to one of Dmitri's cop buddies from a year ago and he could have everyone's fun ruined in a matter of minutess even if there weren't any laws being broken here. The question was, would baldy and blonde over there take the risk.

"Mike?" the blonde said to his portly friend. "Check the list while I call in back up, I'm gonna go talk to the keep and make sure this guy's not lying out of his ass."

Mike checked the list, while blonde made the call. Five minutes went by with whispered chatter and more scowls being sent Kal's way. He ignored them, then finally got his answer. "Hey Dmitri!" Kal, gave the blonde his attention, fully expecting a fist or some other trope to be fulfilled. Instead he heard: "Go inside, you're free to go."

Groaning filled the air while Kal took a moment and popped the collar hidden by his hoodie just as he made his way inside. Before he disappeared behind the door he coyly waved goodbye, and offered a little wink to the now annoyed guards, blowing a kiss to some guy who'd flipped him the finger.

Inside, music filled the air. Laughter was overpowered by alcohol and hot, sweaty, and heavily perfumed strangers got funky on the dance floor in all kinds of groovy ways. Kal ignored them all, barely paying attention to the recording of a alluring female voice that played through the speakers. Heading to the bar booth, he took a seat on a stool he felt wasn't fouled, then looked around. A little life coming into his eyes as he surveyed the area. It almost made him smile with disgust, and familiarity. Nothing looked like it had changed.

Some customer died right out of this club no more than almost a day ago and this place was still booming with business like the news had reported a missing balloon. He couldn't help but grin as he waved the barkeeper over.

"People", he snickered, brushing black bangs out of his eyes. Now let's see what drunk I can get to tell me what happened here.

Vítězslav was having quite the intriguing day, villains seemed to be active today, with a building explosion, and a bunch of other events dominating the headlines. Vítězslav determined today he needed to make some observations on some heroes powers, and continue on finessing the details of a plan he had been working on. For now he was just wandering, his mind racing with new ideas and concepts. That was when he overheard a building collapsing, immediately Vítězslav deduced it was a villain attack, and after listening for the direction of the sound, he figured the general location of it, and then glancing around he quickly took in his surroundings, and in knowing where he was the only possible location worth destroying would be the Bahara building.

Vítězslav using this, glanced around quickly to find a good vantage point, he found the perfect one, one that would provide the best amount of concealment, while giving a great view of where the combat would be. So Vítězslav moved quickly to make it, he went into the building, and quickly being able to run quickly made it to the top without breaking too much of a sweat, but was then blocked off by a door, he tested it to see if it would open, it wouldn't. Vítězslav frowned slightly at this, and just simply and pragmatically drew out his CZ 110 pistol with its silencer attached and shot out the deadbolt lock on the door, and opened up the door. Vítězslav then proceeded to wipe down the door knob handle to remove evidence of fingerprints since once someone would notice the door was shot open, the police would probably investigate it and Vítězslav wanted to minimize any possibility of being caught or tracked or ruining his staying off the radar.

After he made it through he put on gloves to again to leave no fingerprints, and to be able to pick any strands of anything if anything fell, but as he was about to get into position he felt some rumbling, but Vítězslav was able to remain composed and kept his balance. After that he took note of the shock-wave, and now put up his binoculars to observe the battle, it appeared there were 3 participants, there was definitely evidence that the man who had white hair who appeared he was an adolescent was the one who caused the shockwave, and that there was evidence that a tornado was dissipating, probably also from the man in white. There was also a man who was on the bit of the shorter and thinner side, and based on the voice he had been hearing this sounded like a teen. Then there was one more who looked like a headless horseman type figure with a pumpkin hat, probably trying to be menacing, appeared and sounded around the age of the man in white hair. This one probably was holding a grudge against the man in white hair, as his body-language was tense and looked as if he was going to tear the man in white limb from limb.

Vítězslav glanced back at the man in white, by the appearance of his face he was obviously Asian, and had a lot more strength than his body let on, as in superpowers. From what he could hear, this man sounded very arrogant and overconfident, and the word 'trial' meant that either he had been trained to join an organization, most likely a villain group, or was an experiment of some kind.

That was quite an interesting threat to make, and all the kid had to retort back was a pun, thrown in with a sarcastic tone, but further analyzing the kids body language, he was trying to not expose the fact he was scared of the experiment. And before the kid came up with the conclusion with the numbers Vítězslav was already on top of that and more, those numbers that appeared must have been manifestations of something greater, like vectors or some other mathematical concept that would go hand in hand with what that experiment could do. That experiment was very intriguing and Vítězslav's hazel eyes had an interesting twinkle in them watching that.

With that kid explaining his theory on the experiment's powers, Vítězslav realized he was trying to get him to drop his guard, and realized this before the experiment did, but the experiments reply made Vítězslav internally chuckle, he had no idea he could hear it, he definitely saw they were both not espers truly.

But then the experiment confirmed the identity of a lab and the fact he was an experiment, which piqued Vítězslav's intrigue even more, and spoke of more observations Vítězslav witnessed. This was too easy, learning so much and now their objectives, which the experiment left the kid with as well as a note, that Vítězslav unfortunately couldn't get a good look at.

Vítězslav needed to find out more, so he quickly made sure no trail was left behind, which he took note none was, and proceeded to get downstairs quickly, closing the door with his gloves on, and taking them off afterwards. Now looking completely normal he started trailing Poltergeist.

"Big sis you said we shouldn't take home with us."
Tony was expecting some kind of an attack method. Sure, the girl could punch a hole in the bank wall, and that meant there wouldn't be much of a problem lifting a dumpster. The flesh retreated from the girl to wrap around Tony's arm.
"Can we... talk this out?"
He said, staring at the dumpster.

The dumpster landed on Tony. '......am I alive?' He peeked. His arms were still there, and he was still breathing. More flesh grew over him to support his legs as Tony proceeded to carefully put the dumpster down on the floor next to him. He turned and noticed the girl grabbing the money bag again.
"Hey! I said down!"
He yelled as he noticed that his arms were hurting a bit.

Marlowe Walker

Marlowe wasn't sure what she was doing out in the streets. She wasn't one to like being outside that much, and would much rather stay at home or go to the Heroes of Today HQ to see if there was a possibility of her getting accepted.
And yet, here she was, aimlessly walking around at night. Marlowe wasn't sure where her legs were taking her, but she did no effort to stop herself.
Arriving at an intersection, she spotted two odd-looking men talking to each other. She haulted, curiosity getting the best of her. Marlowe crept up to a closed restaurant's window and stepped in.
Upon her entry, Marlowe turned around and put her head close enough to her exit so that she could hear what they were talking about. It didn't help much - they were still pretty far away. But the girl could still see them, and was surprised to see the pale kid fling himself up in the air and fly away, leaving the other male confused. He grasped at a piece of paper, which made her curiosity grow. She wanted to take a glance at what it contained.
Looking through the other windows, she spotted a parked car not far from her. She made her way over to it and hopped into the windshield, getting closer to the man without him noticing.
Before she could see what the paper contained however, he started walking away. She cursed under her breath, but was still determined to follow him.

Poltergeist had gotten onto a bus that would take him as close to the address as possible. There was no way he was going to walk the whole way. What, was he supposed to freaking parkour over there as if he hadn't already tired himself out for tonight? Psh. Mechanical transportation for the win.

He quickly arrived just a short distance away from the street. Of course, he was suspicious as hell since the person who told him to come here had been previously attempting to kick his ass. He turned his goggles to the night vision setting to reduce the chance of getting any nasty surprises as he approached the address.

24125 Sett Street
Sett Street was a total mess. Most of the buildings around the area were totally destroyed, and some parts of it were even smashed to fine dust. A live wire sat next to the burst sewage pipe, crackling with life as it shot its current into the disgusting liquid. It was all too good to be true. The apocalyptic setting of Sett Street was definitely a sight to behold.

However, not all was still. The rubble started to shift slightly, and the choked gasping of a young girl could be heard from behind it. "H-h...e...lp..."

Poltergeist winced while seeing the ruined area. It was like a damn warzone! The quietness, save for the live wire, was soon interrupted by the shifting of rubble and a faint voice. He quickly went over and knelt next to them, raising his hand to move the rubble off of her and to the side. This was better than manually doing it, as there was a smaller chance of the other rubble losing balance and falling back down. He turned off the night vision with a small touch to the side of his goggles and lifted them upwards onto his forehead.
