She just thanked her quietly and got herself settled down into the chair again. As much as it pained her though she would need to go home to sleep for the night if she didn’t want to screw her back up completely but she stayed a while longer and then left Jane to have privacy with him the rest of the night so she could get some sleep.

Jeff sighed a little and rubbed her head. “I know pumpkin but I’mtalking about today. You gotta be good to them okay?” He murmured, taking her downstairs and out to the front porch while they waited for max to come pick them up.

Max came over about 30 minutes later and sighed softly smiling wide at her daughter waving at her some "Hey Lana, you feeling okay?" She asked smiling as Lana nodded and got inside buckling up next to Iris smiling taking her hand in hers 'Hi Iris....I'm sorry I hit you....I love you Iris.'

Jane looked at Carmen as she came in and sighed softly "Nothing changed, still the same." She said softly kissing his hand gently

She frowned but nodded and sat in the big chair again, watching him carefully and rubbed at her face. “Lance is coming by soon to come see him.” She told her yawning a bit.

Jeff sighed quietly and leaned back in his seat while max drove, feeling a little panicky about what this appointment might bring.

Jane gave a small nod and sighed softly "Well when he gets here would you like to get some breakfast?" She asked softly

Lana sat there contently until her head started to hurt badly causing her to yell out in pain "Daddy!! Daddy my head hurts make it stop!" She sobbed a nose bleed starting off as well making her scream because she was so scared

She nodded frowning some, "I tried to eat last night but I couldn't stomach it." She mumbled rubbing at her face, "And I might as well have stayed here cause I slept maybe an hour, he was very restless, kept me up for hours..... Charlie is always the one that can get him settled already." She mumbled tiredly.

He frowned a little as he looked back at her, "Hey, hold on sweetheart it's alrght, we're almost there." He promised her and turned to face her the rest of the drive getting her to hold a tissue to her nose, "I know it hurts but we'll be there in two minutes I promise." He coaxed her gently.

Max frowned and sped up to the hospital immediately letting Jeff take her once they got there while she found parking and calmed Iris down since Lana had frightened her with her yelling

Jane gave a small nod and sighed softly "I always had some tea and my body pillow to help with Charlie when I was pregnant with him." She explained

She frowned and nodded, rubbing her bump slowly and just winced a little when her cramps hit, sighing quietly.

He took her to the bathroom to help her clean up before taking her to her appointment once she had calmed down again, kissing her head and taking her through when her name was called.

The doctor looked at Lana and gave a small smile "Hello Lana, I'm Dr.Green. I'm gonna help you today." She said softly to her "Now your daddy said that you hear someone talking to you is that right?"

Jane gave a small frown watching her some "You okay darling?" She asked quietly

"Yeah... I've had cramps the whole way through but there's been a few more the past week or so.... they're just uncomfortable." She mumbled, not even thinking about the fact she was due in three weeks.

Lana looked over at her dad, holding onto him tightly and frowned before answering with just a nod.

Dr. Green nodded softly and gave a small smile "Don't worry Lana, I just want to help." She said softly before she reached out to take her hand "Can you tell me what happens when you hear her?"

Jane frowned and raised an eyebrow at her "Um honey.....do you think it might possibly be contractions?" She asked seeing how she just about ready to pop

Carmen frowned shaking her head. “I... they’re only a couple times a day.... but I can’t have this baby yet.... I need him to be there.” She whimpered a little.

Lana frowned and stayed holding onto Jeff tightly. “I get a headache and then she starts yelling at me” she mumbled.

Jane frowned more giving a small nod "I know honey but we still might need to see if its contractions."

Dr. Green gave a small nod and pulled out a light to look in her eyes. Once the examination was finished she looked at Jeff and bit her lip "Mr.Morgan I would like to do a scan on her head...just to make sure everything is clear up there."

She just nodded and swallowed a little, getting up and squeezing Charlie’s hand tightly for a moment. “You gotta wake up. I need you here baby.” She whimpered quietly, squeezing his hand again before going to speak to someone at the nurses station about what she should do.

Jeff frowned watching Lana sitting over to the side playing with the toys in the room. “Clear? You mean like.... a tumor?” He asked her getting worried. “When would Uh.. when could we do that?”

The nurse frowned some looking her over some "How far apart are the cramps right now?" She asked putting pressure on her back

Dr.Green gave a small nod and sighed heavily "I'm afraid so, the symptoms she has are signs of a tumor. I want to do a scan to make sure."

Carmen frowned some, "Uh... first one was this morning when I got up... Then a couple hours ago... And this is the third set." She mumbled, wincing a little.

Jeff frowned some but nodded "Alright... When can we get that done?" He asked, running a hand through his hair and sat down, swallowing a little with worry.

The nurse frowned softly and nodded some "Alright m'am I think you're in the early stages of labor." She explained some "You will be okay for now, but when they get closer, say 20 minutes apart, then come to us and we will get you set up okay?"

Dr. Green nodded some "We can have something in two days. Please come here if it gets worse okay?" She murmured softly

Carmen frowned a little and swallowed some but nodded, going to sit down with Charlie again, just hoping he would wake up before the baby was born, looking over at his mom and Lance who had finally arrived, "she said I'm probably in early stages of labor.... To go get them when the contractions get bigger and when they're about twenty minutes apart." she mumbled, rubbing her face.

Jeff just nodded and set the appointment up with her before scooping Lana up and got her to walk with him back to the car, "We got another appointment to help you in a couple days okay sweetheart? I think we should probably go home though, what do you think? If you start feeling like you should hurt your mom or sister, then I want you to come straight to me okay?" He told her, taking her straight to the car and kissed her head before opening her door for her, climbing in the front seat, "Let's go get her stuff then we're gonna go home." He mumbled looking at Max "I'll tell you when we get back." He mumled, squeezing her hand.

Max picked them both up and took them home looking at Jeff worriedly when Lana went off to put her things away and she got Iris set up with a few snacks in her high chair "What did they say?" She asked softly rubbing at his chest gently to try and comfort him.

Jane gave a small nod smiling some "Well he sure has some timing huh? Just like his daddy. I was at the movies when Charlie decided he wanted to pop out! Scared me to death thinking I'd have him at the cinema."

He frowned some and shook his head. “They think it’s more likely to be a tumour.” He muttered frowning some.

carmen smiled a little and gave Charlie’s hand a squeeze just watching him and staying quiet, worrying some.

Max whimpered softly and let a few tears fall "A tumor? Jeff....what if she has one? Oh my god.." she whimpered hiding her face in his chest trying to keep herself together

Jane gave a small smile and watched her son giving a sigh as she pushed some hair from his face "He'll be okay."

Carmen stayed by his side through the rest of the day, just hoping he’d manage to wake up but by the end of the day she was still waiting and she was still having contractions just not close enough together yet, just saying goodbye with him so they could get her in another room to keep a better eye on her now.

he frowned and gently moved her off of him, standing up and lifting iris into his arms, cradling her close while he sat down again and kissed her head. “I don’t know.... I’m worried sick about her either way.” He mumbled.

Max gave a small nod and sighed heavily "We'll figure this out babe. I know we will." She murmured looking at Lana as she came down and smiled some at her "Hey there baby girl."

Jane stayed the entire day and through the night as well following through to her room to make sure she was set up comfortably "How are you feeling?"

She frowned some shaking her head. “I feel okay I just wish Charlie was here.” She mumbled swallowing back tears.

he sighed a little and just watched iris while she started drifting off to sleep in his arms, rocking her slowly and let Lana pick out something to watch. “What are we Uh... what are we doing for dinner?” He muttered.

Jane nodded some and gave a small sigh "I know dear but its gonna be okay I promise." She whispered

Max looked at him and shrugged some "I was thinking about making spaghetti for everyone." She murmured

Jeff just nodded and stayed quiet, trying to focus on breathing steady and keeping Iris curled up in his arms while Lana followed Max into the kitchen and held onto her tightly while she started on dinner. "Mommy why do I have to go back for another visit?" She mumbled frowning some.

Carmen nodded slowly and just looked down at her hands nervously. She ended up being in labor for a total of almost 72 hours and by the end she was exhausted but she had her baby boy in her arms finally, stroking his cheek with her thumb gently while he stared up at her. "Oh my I've waited for you for so long sweetheart... And when Daddy finally wakes up we're gonna get to be a family alright?" She cooed to him quietly. She'd sent Jane to be with Charlie again while she was having some bonding time with her son and just getting used to having him there.
