Fandom Persona - Mirror World

yoikes

The (Not So) Evil Mastermind
The story takes place in a city named Oyama. The story is revolves around a theme park located in the town that is full with urban legends and mysterious visitor disappearance.

  • Shadow world is located inside the mirror
  • Summoning Persona with tattoo
  • Persona is Carnaval/Circus themed

Kuyoyama Yuki found her self sitting inside a Ferris wheel. Last time she found her self inside this never ending ride is when she first awaken a mysterious power named Persona, or at least that's what the weird old man in front of her called it.

Yuki couldn't stop her legs from twitching. She can's help it, she's very nervous.

The old man in front of her, with sharp big nose who introduced him self as Igor, watched her with his two big eyes. A young girl named Idora is sitting in the same seat as her's, watching the view out of the window... Which is absolutely nothing. There is nothing but darkness and mist, yet she seemed to be enjoying the view.

"The time has finally come." Igor said, followed by yet another creepy giggle. "You decided to visit the mysterious world again, yes? Despite coming close to death?"

'I can't stop my self' is the answer that Yuki wanted to give, but she remained silent.

"You're not alone in your journey." Idora continued for Igor. She have stopped looking out of the window and now smiling at me. She patted a thick looking book. "You cannot go by your self."

"Now, my dearest," Igor giggled again. "Time to meet your new friends."

---

Yuki opened her eyes and found her self standing in front of a rusty, broken gate. The gate it self was twisted and pushed inside, opening a path huge enough for... whatever it is that broke into Oyama's amusement park. But at the same time, this is not the amusement park. At least not the one Yuki knows. It appears to be abandoned, rusted, broken and such. The sky looked weird, red as blood with cloud grey as smoke. And then there's those... weird creatures. Some of them take appearance of a lion, some as creepy clown statue.

Last time, the first time Yuki entered this weird world, she is almost killed by one of the monsters... Just a second before she is about to be eaten, she found her self inside that weird ferris wheel and meet Igor and Idora. When they send her off... Yuki.. Lost control of her self. She is overwhelmed by something... 'strong'. And that's when her Persona came out, saving her life.

She rub her butterfly tattoo, a tattoo that appears when she entered this world and disappear the moment she jumped out of that misplaced mirror (Who the heck placed a broken mirror in front of the gate? Anyway, that's appear to be the enterance point into this world)

"Ah, Yuki-san." Kit greeted her. He introduced him self as the 'real and handsomer version of Kit the Fox', the amusement park's mascot. Kit stood near the gate, wearing his usual ringmaster attire. "You should know that you're not the only one here today."

"Huh?" Yuki asked.

@The Servant

"...alright... alright... this is it, I've finally gone crazy. No need to panic, its all in your head, you can make this delusion a pleasurable experience I'm sure of it, you just have to remain calm and not absolutely lose all of your marbles. Unless.. their already lost... then... guess that sucks then. least we can do is pretend everything is okay, okay, alright Paige ol' girl. everything will be fine and dandy once you get out of this place... now.. where is that mirror i fell into?" Paige was having abit tiny bit of a panic attack, just a tiny one, as she gave a good look around herself, rusty metal, ruined rides and carnival equipment, not to mention that strange and demented music playing off in the distance... Is... is that a.... Oh no, no she is not dealing with that today, nope, not at all, no clowns for her, especially not one made out of darkness.

Making a dash for it towards... somewhere, she managed to make it to a somewhat open space, with one of her students and a strikingly handsome fox person... "...Umm... Yuki? you've gone crazy to? Well can't say I'm not happy to see you, but you could also be a figment of my mental weirdness going on.... you are real right? Don't tell me if you areokay? I can't deal with that right now." she asked as she neared the young lady, poking her forehead trying to be sure that she is indeed real.

Mineko blinked a couple of times as she stood before the gate. She turned to see where she had come through and inspected the mirror. "Hmmf" That's the sound she made when she found it was as ordinary as any other mirror, besides being broken. Pulling her jacket around her, Mineko hugged her chest, as though it would protect her. She was afraid.

What is this place? It looks like the amusement park... But it can't be. So what is this place, and why am I here?

A million questions ran through her head, but she didn't seem to be able to figure out what it was. Instead of standing in the same place, pondering these questions, Mineko walked through the gate.

Oh. It's Yuki. I wonder why she's here.

"H-Hi." She stammered, noticing both the strange fox dressed as a ringmaster and one of the teacher's from the school. "What is this place?" She asked, adjusting her glasses on her face and nervously tapping on her upper thigh.

At the sight of the broken gate and the twisted world beyond it, Ayame raised an eyebrow.

Well this is new. She thought, turning on the spot to survey her surroundings. Beside her was a cracked mirror, and in the reflection she spotted a strange tattoo on her neck.

Definitely new, and definitely not my style, Ayame grimaced, Either I got really drunk sometime, or I'm dreaming. Please, let it be a dream, the tattoo doesn't lend itself to my stage image at all.

A short distance away, Ayame noticed a huddle of women forming, beside a fox imitating the park mascot. With a shrug, she approached.

"So can anyone tell me what on earth has happened to the amusement park?" She asked as she joined the group, thrusting her hands into her pockets. "Because from the way it looks, I won't be having to perform tomorrow, or anytime until the Park's fixed."

Tanaka rested in one of the beds in the performer tents in the amusement park. He was just finishing a long shift and was reading some manga he found in the lost and found, when he heard nose from outside. He looked towards the tent exit. "Did you guys hear that?" He asked the other there but suddenly he felt dizzy laying back down on the bed and found himself falling a sleep.

Next thing he knew he was outside the amusement park but not the one he knew. Everything seemed like a warped and dark version of the park."Oh great, somebody slipped something to my drink again. This is some sort of a nightmare." He looked around and found the other girls ahead of him some he had seen in the park before and Ayame. He smiled."Maybe this is not such a bad dream after all. Hey ladies, to what i oh the pleasure of your company."

"Oh great, now we got a flirt. and it seems I'm joined with many people in my insane delusions..." Paige looked around at the few other people joing the area. "Why don't we just pull up a table and have a bit of tea? Spend the day sitting in this damn place, Oi, foxy, you look like you belong here. What is this place!" she barked, her arms crossed and eyes sternly focused on the dapper looking fox-man.

"if this is a joke, it's a pretty damn good one to be honest, seriously alot of work must've been put into this. But if it isn't your going to have to speak up, and fast." adding as she gave the small group forming up a look over... sounded by young blood, hopefully she isn't going to have to play field trip with these ones... if worse comes to worse maybe they could use a pipe or something for protection, lots of metal around.

His eyes flickered, something was wrong, he could feel it. Opening his eyelids slowly, a twisted, unearthly vision awaited him. Observing his surroundings in absolute shock, Suzuya managed to get his body up with a strange difficulty. His body was somewhat sore, like he had just plunged himself onto the cold floor he was lying on just a few seconds ago. The eerie atmosphere was unnerving to say the least, he could tell that wherever that place was, it was unfamiliar for him. Could it be a dream? An illusion? "Whatever it is, it's creeping me out..." He voiced his own thoughts purrely by accident, speaking to no one in particular. Perhaps himself really. Could he take it as a sign of insanity? Given his current location, it was a likely conclusion to come to. Suzuya then realized the presence of two, wait, three, he wasn't sure about the mascot but he chose to assume it was alive, figures nearby. His instincts entered in conflict as he realized the gender of two of them: should he approach them?...No, he would probably humiliate himself before even spatting words. He stood nearby, in silence, cursing his hesitation and anxiety.

"Hmmm? Talk about a bizarre looking dream..." Jade thought as examined the the scene that surrounded him. He began opening and closing his left hand. "Feels pretty real too..."

Even from the place on which he was standing Jade was able to notice what looked like human figures standing in the distance. He was a bit doubtful at first, but figuring this was just a dream and that nothing could really hurt him Jade began to cautiously approach them. Three of the figures seemed to be shaped as females, two as males and one as...an animal maybe? Upon getting closer Jade was able to recognize their faces and a strange mixture of confusion and relief took over him, but instead of showing this he decided to play it cool.

"Well this is a fine surprise." Jade said with a calm grin as he approached the group. "It would seem that we've all gotten ourselves into a little pickle, doesn't it?" The reason why he was acting so casual was that Jade successfully managed to convince himself that this was all a just dream and that nothing that happens here would have a negative impact on the real world. "So what now? Are we all going to hold hands and skip into that...charming looking carnival while chanting songs? Because I am up for that" He said with a joking tone.

"Oww... This is no dream, you would have responded more favorably, sweetheart. " He said to Paige winking at her." Dont worry, if you dont like it just laugh it off i dont mean anything by it." He looked around still keeping a smiling tone." If so many people our having the same delusion, it isnt a delusion no drugs make everyone see the same thing. This, and i say this wishing i am wrong, this is real."

Ayame nodded at Tanaka as he arrived.

"He's a hopeless flirt," she explained to Paige. "But he's not too bad. Just slap him if he gets on your nerves." Ayame shot a grin at Tanaka.

"I agree though, we're all here and..." She pinched her thigh experimentally. "...I'm not dreaming. This is real, which means I can definitely take tomorrow off work."

Ayame studied her surroundings, shifting uneasily.

"Although on this occasion, I think I'd rather have work than this."

She turned her attention to the other guy, who was making light of the situation.

"Y'know, I'd be up for some singing and skipping, if it weren't for those... things, wandering the themepark. I get the impression that they don't have much of a sense of humor."

"Say what you want, cutie, you know you love my flirts." He said to Ayame with a wide smile, trying to add some levity to the situation." I will have you as patty in my hands yet."

"oh really? never noticed, hes been so shy and reserved." Paige looked to the two, the boy was a hopeless flirt indeed... since he sort of tried to smooth talk a woman who probably is twice his age... "Keep him in line and we'll have no trouble, in anycase the name is Paige, no idea what the hell is going on, and I'm equally as confused as every one of you... Now then, back to the most pressing question of, What the hell is this place."

She looked to Yuki and the fox yet again, hoping slightly that there will be no more young bloods coming out of the woodwork... or atleast without some sort of politeness. "And you know what, lets try to do this as sterotypical as possible, answer all my questions in vague and incoherent rhymns and riddles, so that when we go on our adventure we slowly figure out the answer to them and become closer as friends and better people in general... to summarize every cheesy adventure movie plot ever made.." she spoke as she let out all this pressure in her mind, the situation was... strange to say the least.

Suzuya couldn't help but shake the feeling that he was being...ignored, one would say? "Whatever..." He muttered to himself as he distancied from the group. He wasn't trying to be anti-social or any of the sort, it was just troublesome for him to interact with others when he was as helpless as he was at the moment. He eyed his surroundings, squinting his lavender colored eyes in order to be able to see what was up ahead. Unfortunately, his goal did not seem to be as easily to complete as he thought. Was it the fog? The dark atmosphere? "...WHERE are we?" He muttered in an annoyed voice. As much as he did not wish to, the older woman was right: that place filled every cliche element in the book.

Akiko chuckled at Tanaka's playful comment.

"Yeah, you wish." Akiko scoffed, grinning, "Just remember that I throw knives for a living, okay?"

Akiko turned back to Paige and waved a hand dismissively.

"I'll keep him in line Miss, don't you worry." She threw Tanaka an amused look. "I'm sure he'll learn eventually."

She glanced around the group, studying each face in turn. She spotted a lavender-eyed boy standing slightly apart from the group.

"Hey!" Akiko waved, and then beckoned to him. "You going to join us? Whatever's going on, I figure it's best that we all stick together. Strength in numbers, y'know?"

Glancing around at her surroundings, Akiko supposed she should feel more uneasy than she actually was. She'd found herself in a dark and twisted world, with no recollection of how she got there or how to get out. She supposed she would probably have reacted differently had she found herself alone, but she drew a certain amount of strength from having others nearby.

Suzuya was suddenly pulled back to reality as he saw one of the girls approach him in the distance. Was she talking to him?...Of course she is, don't play stupid, Suzuya. He gulped as he realized that even his subconscious was making fun of him. It was rather embarrassing to say the least. But what could he do? Ignore her? Yes, like he could be that cold towards someone. He didn't have the courage to do so, that much was given. Perhaps answer her? He attempted to open his mouth and speak towards the seemingly amiable girl. But, as usual, his body did not answer to his bidding. The thought of just speaking with a girl was nerve-wracking already, as if he could actually muster the courage to do it. But he couldn't just leave it be after such a, he had to admit, nice gesture of hers to invite him into the discussion. Even if she was just being polite or looking for more help, despite of whom it was. He silently joined the group, managing to clumsily nod in gratitude at Akiko. He scratched his hair, looking away from the "horde" of females around him. He needed to relax, desperately. They're just women, man up already!

"I do." Tanaka said simply to Akiko comment intentionally leaving it vague to which phrase he was referring to. Tanaka saw Suzuya hesitation to talking Akiko and approached him standing by his side and placed his hand around his shoulder. "Come one. my friend, dont be shy. Akiko doesn't bite.. Throw knives at you with pinpoint accuracy if you make her mad but she doesn't bite. I am Tanaka by the way, good to know there is guy other guy here. The women are nice and all but the tent to gang up on people."

A boy with glasses stood near a booth. Plastic bottles were stacked inside although some had been toppled. It looked like prizes once hung from the ceiling. Probably not for a while though. Miciho slid his hands into the pockets of his school uniform. He turned and continued his tour of the abandoned amusement park. Stopping only to admire the deep red of the sky. It looked like blood. What exactly was the sky refracting? There were other people here too. The soft sound of conversation drew his ear.

Michio changed the direction of his steps. The sight of other people made him strangely relived. He was grateful he hadn't been the only one taken here. As messed up as that seemed. Michio picked up his pace. He approached the group slowly. Michio raised his hand in a half wave. "Hello!" He smiled. " I was afraid I was the only one here. Wherever here is."

Akiko grinned sympathetically as Suzuya struggled to speak, watching as Tanaka went to rest a hand on the guys shoulder. Akiko moved to the boys other shoulder and leant on it, smiling wickedly, Her gaze flicking between Sazuya and Tanaka.

"Aw, he's cute." Akiko teased, "Hey Tanaka, can we keep him? Please?"

Standing straight again, Akiko moved to stand infront of the two guys, resting a hand on her hip and putting on an expression of mock indignance.

"And for the record," She said, "I only threw knives at you once, Tanaka, and on that occasion it was perfectly justified."

Akiko turned back to Suzuya.

"Like he said, I'm Akiko." She said, smiling. "I'm a performer at the theme park, or at least, I was..."

She eyed the bleak world warily, before brightening.

"Though looks like you two aren't the only guys here." She gestured at the newcomer as he approached the group, waving.

Suzuya jolted at the abrupt contact with a human hand on his shoulder. But soon he found himself relaxed as he found male features near him. He felt grateful for his intentions to spare him for his uneasy and nervous attitude. Unfortunately, it was not so easy to drive off such sentiments he currently had. "Thanks..." He at last spoke up to someone in the group, smiling awkwardly at Tanaka. "...but I'm afraid my case is not so simple." He then realized what he was implying and quickly shook his hands frantically. "N-Not that I have something against you friend! I just...well..." Was stupid around girls? Couldn't act like a normal human being around girls? Was far too shy around pretty girls? No, wait, he wasn't a flirt, it didn't matter if they were good-looking or not. The girls around him were actually but that was beside the point! "I'm not the most-!" He was suddenly interrupted by a jolt in his whole body as he felt Akiko's presence near him. He cursed himself as he felt his shoulders tense and his heart pound in anxiety. "P-P...lea...sure...I'm...Suzuya." He managed to stammer, not even able to look at her in the eyes. Both her compliment and her friendly attitude caught him off guard completely. He just wanted a hole to crawl into right now, this was so embarrassing...

He awkwardly waved at the newcomer, hoping to not embarrassing himself any further.

As if....

From all the people that stood there Jade only recognized the face's of a handful of them, and that was because they went to the same high school. It was only after one of the male teens pointed that this may all be real that Jade began to actually realize the true gravity of the situation. But, even if he was nervous beyond belief, Jade decided to hide this since many of the other people in the group seemed surprisingly calm about it. He jumped slightly when he heard a male voice behind his backs, but upon confirming that it was just another teenager he sighed in relief. It was clear that he had slowly begun to lose his cool, but Jade was doing everything he could so that it wasn't too obvious.

"Oh wow, you scared me there buddy...Ha ha....It seems like you are just as trapped as we are...Welcome to the group!" Jade said to the newcomer before turning to face the group. "So...Why don't we all introduce ourselves? If we are going to be trapped in here we might as well know each other's names, and it also seems like the best thing to do next" He said before turning to face the amusement park "Unless you people want to go and party with the lions and clowns."

When Igor said that she's going to meet her new friends, she thought she's going to be attacked by a bunch of new enemies. But nope! She literally neet her classmates and her homeroom teacher, then several other people.

"It seems that everyone is already here... I shall begin the explanation." Kit smiled. He opened his arms and yelll. "Welcome to the Mirror World."

"This is a place located inside the mirror, the one that you can enter through that broken mirror." Kit explained. "And you are all not dreaming. All of you are here today because of a negative emotion that resides inside of you. Something that makes you lost your reflection here... That includes you, Yuki-san."

"I notice that some of you already have the tattoo, that is the enterance pass to this world... Have you all summon your Persona?"

Yuki slowly raised her hand. "I didn't summon it. It came out all by him self... And save my life."

"I say i again, walking in on you in the changing tent was an honest mistake, Besides you didn't have to aim low." He replied to Akiko indigently before turning to Suzuya and smirking at his reaction to her."Relax, just think of the girls as just really pretty guys that....." He watched the other guy come in and about to comment further before the fox spook up." Negative emotion? Come on i am Mr Positive." He said suddenly becoming a little defensive. " And no."

"Negative emotion... so this is a soul searching adventure huh." she questioned as she looked back to the flirt, and some shy guy to it seems... she completely missed that one. "So basicly you mean to say we got this tattoo that summons a body guard thing right? What do we do, touch it?" she asked she did so... And her thinking while acting attitude provided her with the answer. Above her head lay the person, the sword swallowed, in all it's sword pierced glory.

"...Couldn't be a pretty one couldn't yea? So this is the thing? And this weird person is supposed the fight for me, what about ourselves? Can we get any weapons, preferably fire arms if I get a choice."

Michio looked at Kit from different angles. It took a second for him to follow what he was saying. The Mirror World. Michio internalized that for later. He glanced around The Mirror World again. "The power of our emotions brought us here?" Michio accepted that was Kit's explanation. He struggled to make sense out of it though. Michio put his hand under his chin. He found himself being serious for a change. "Does that happen to people a lot?"

He took a small step back from the adult who looked like a teacher from his school. Michio took another when she decided to touch her tattoo. His heart jumped even though he didn't feel nervous. The thing that appeared made him raise his eyebrows. "Swords? What does it do?"
