check to not freak out in the dungeon, if i fail this, i will be making this a critical failure [dice]15602[/dice] 2 Successes |
End of Session 3 I'm kind of happy we ended on Week 4 anyway, because it makes it easier to track the timing for me. End of Session, everyone gets 1 beat besides those who did not participate or left. Terrance (NPC) [3/5 Beats] Ahnoah (@Aquafan) [2/5 Beats] Selene (@Umbrie) [2/5 Beats] Rosalina (@Trickster Queen) [1 exp, 1/5 Beats] (lowered Integrity at creation to 6) I suggest that everyone revise and update Aspirations if needed...if you have not done so already. performing "spring cleaning" on the character sheets and keeping them up-to-date is important too, so if I missed anything...let me know. |
3 dice for Torture stuffs [integrity Roll] [dice]15610[/dice] Condition: Terrified (Afraid) |
Roll for "CAKE~!" 2 dice [dice]15614[/dice] [dice]15615[/dice] He resists the cake |
Intelligence + Persuasion to make the best unloopholeibul (>.> Its a real word shut up) Contract. [dice]15643[/dice] |
Human Terrance is using Willpower (1/2) and has 6 dice to help you with this. [dice]15644[/dice] +3 dice for Johnny |
3 extra dice thanks to Terrence. [dice]15645[/dice] Reroll 10 [dice]15646[/dice] |
Incite Bedlam (Lust) 11 + 3 Glamour = 14 Dice pool is hidden. Since she's using an opposing emotion from her court, the last two dice are ignored. [dice]15647[/dice] [dice]15648[/dice] 3 Successes. |
Composure +1 to Resist certain feelings in the dungeon [dice]15649[/dice] Failure, turned to critical failure. |
So Umbrie gains 1 beat for choosing to critical failure the Incite Bedlam. Caeda earns 2 beats for automatically failing and making it a critical failure for the same check as Umbrie. Umbrie: (0 exp, 3/5 beats) Caeda: (1 exp, 2/5 beats) |
I updated the rules with the Automatic Quick Draw rule, this means that if you have a holstered weapon, you can draw it reflexively. This means Characters like Caeda can now draw her gun and shoot/take another action in the same turn (if she chooses) rather than having to end her turn after drawing. |
@Xistund The main flaw I noticed in your contract was that you were basically betting 4 people's lives without offering her anything for winning. To put this in perspective, she already has you captured so she would have benefited more by rejecting your deal and not playing a game...which she would have done. You could have easily bet the lives of your family members or something similar in compensation, but the stakes were way too low on your end. Also, since you are not Enchanted (and you don't have the merit dots to make it permanent), you suffer an outbreak of insanity upon leaving the hedge as all the magic that veiled your mind dissipates. You have to make 6 Integrity rolls, the pool will be Resolve + Composure +3 total [5 dice], but I will allow willpower to boost a single roll by +2. The rolls need to be made because you witnessed the following things that would distort your reality: -Seeing a real-life elf girl -The landscape of the hedge itself and watching the hills melt before your eyes -Seeing a flock of talking birds and then witnessing them vanish -Seeing two Canine-Men soldiers. -Witnessing the sight of the True Fae named Alice -Being pulled into a dream-world and then woken up. Feel free to dispute any of these, but overall I think they'd all mess with your head even if you were aware of some occult things, you never saw them in front of you, and you know everything you saw was real as well as well as realizing how bendable reality can be. I decided to give you +4 added to the total due to your Occult skill and high integrity to help cushion it, because that would help. Your experience with the occult helps you deal with these things, but it doesn't nullify the fact that it would effect your mental state. Before you say it's ridiculous, this is probably what would happen if a human was exposed to this. |
Ok so rolling a lot of shit. Adding willpower to first two rolls. [dice]15670[/dice] [dice]15671[/dice] [dice]15672[/dice] [dice]15673[/dice] [dice]15675[/dice] [dice]15676[/dice] [dice]15677[/dice] [dice]15678[/dice] [dice]15679[/dice] [dice]15680[/dice] [dice]15681[/dice] 1 Failure Willpower: 0/2 |
For looking into the shots/safe place to teleport using Scry [space 2]. Gnosis (1) + Space (3) + Extemporaneous Specialty (3) + High Speech (2) - Sympathetic Spell (Observed through video screen, -4) = 5 dice [dice]15727[/dice] |
@Aquafan Since I already posted what happened, you can just assume that you see the aftermath of the bloody shooting as well as the spear on the ground being examined by the police that would draw your interest. It looks like a normal spear, but as a Veil Mage you know looks can be deceiving. The area actually looks rather safe since the police are all gathered around the bar. The only strange thing remaining is the huge mark outside on the parking lot where the police cars are parked. The lights in the casino are still not all on, so you could attempt to sneak past the police at no penalty. You can hear their conversation though the television screen with your magic: "What the heck is this thing? We should take it back to the station right away." The police chief picks it up with latex gloves. "Somebody go get a bodybag for this guy, I can't believe he took that many bullets. He looks like one of those fuckin' natives with that wolf-hat on 'im." One of the officers left the huddle and went out the back door. "I wonder what they think is gonna happen when he dies? is he gonna turn into a wolf now, or reincarnate as a tree!?" One of the officers laughs. They clearly don't respect the native people. You can smell the blood in the air when viewing this vision of the room near you. Upon seeing this you could scout out any teleporting location to anywhere within the Casino. Portaling into the bathroom or the parking lot would be more difficult, but possible. |
Julia researches Caeda [8 dice, hidden pool] [dice]15770[/dice] [dice]15771[/dice] |
So sorry this is so late. [dice]15772[/dice] |
@SilverSolis No big deal! You get 7 dice for turn order (damn! he's fast!), so roll that whenever you can. Also, let me know if you have a battle theme in mind for Ahnoah. Elise's Initiative [5] [dice]15773[/dice] Failure, so all you need is a success to go first. She tried to attack you quickly without you noticing, but you have faster reaction speed. |
Yeah, but you have to roll the 7 dice first to see if you're actually faster than her. You are aware though.SilverSolis said:So does this mean I am aware?
Noteflight - The Walls Are Coming Down (4:09) {Alternative Metal} FOr battle theme. Not youtube though so it has to be heard on cpu. Sometimes mobile works though
Because if you are not faster than her, she would get to attack you first?SilverSolis said:Rolled it, why do I need to be faster?
