@NovaPheonix For the compact, could I name it what i was thinking in our convo, then maybe through out the rp slowly take control of it? Just so I don't have to go through all of the regestering and such?

Adventae, the hunters compact, thing is...who is going to be in it? Anyone?
Right now your Compact would probably be staffed by other NPCs and whatnot. It is a small group, after all. Nobody else in the party even knows you or it exist...

Intelligence + Occult to see how much Johnny knows about Fae.

Reroll 10

Re-reroll 10

should caeda be doing anything, like tyring to find loopholes like Umbrie suggested? / roll or...?!?!
I'm not really sure, it's not like you would understand Fae laws or anything...do whatever you want.

you just have to research the fae laws closely, i'm sure there would be a copy of the laws in the library. something for the princess to use as an educational tool to keep her servants in check. and we still have another half hour.

@Xistund

Your grandfather, when you were younger, taught you how to fire a gun. He warned you that one day...you might need it if they ever came back for him. You didn't know what he was talking about.

On his deathbed, he told you stories about fairies and everyone else thought that he was suffering from dementia. You realize now that he was right. This is what he was afraid of. In his Will he gave you a necklace that he wore that was made out of Cold Iron. I mean, to you it was just metal, but he explained in one of his letters to you that it was their one weakness. He said they hid their true forms from human eyes, but he had never seen what they really looked like. He said these nobles were the kind to take people and turn them into monsters. It was a dangerous place to be, where you are sitting now. You realized the place your grandfather told you about, Arcadia, was not very far away...if she brought you there you could kiss humanity goodbye. However, at the moment you would know you were only in a sort of border zone between the two places, while still being in the territory where she held the most power possible. Her own Realm.

Your grandfather knew about these things, he was probably a Hunter...but you would have no idea what that is...

alrighty, ill do that... you're too smart Umbrie *hugs* I'll do that then... how many successes would that take anyway?
You could just roll one more time using the same pool, with the same rules in place (reroll 9s and 10s)

well, i have a long history of Dungeon Crawling that dates back to my early childhood, and well, Dungeon Crawling generally requires you to ask questions and make observations, because every bit of insight helps you in the dungeon crawl. many people think of hack and slash, but to challenge myself in remembering how to solve puzzles, i play Go on Google with my husband's phone. even though i'm not a master of the Go Rules, i get pretty high scores and well, Go is very loaded with puzzles and a dungeon crawler's best friend.

i was also educated in the trials of some of the Harshest and most Sadistic 2nd Edition D&D Grognards. and well, i played a lot of wizards, thieves and wizard/thieves, which generally require you to analyze tasks and responsibilities beyond sneak attacks. it is a tabletop skillset that few players still bear and generally pick up quickly in old school tabletop Groups. essentially, my 2nd edition trial was a harsh trial by fire, where i went through a dozen deaths in 3 sessions until the 4th session, i figured out what i should do. in fact, my imagination is kind of limited when i play a combat oriented character, so i generally prefer to play the clever and persuasive characters, even though my Saturday Savage Worlds DM banned me from playing characters with extremely heavy mental and social focuses, because he knows i use that intellect and charisma to my advantage.

there are actually a handful of dungeon masters that thanked me for my insight. Nova being one of the many. i mean, what i lack in basic human decency, i compensate in Wisdom.

@SilverSolis It depends who you make enemies with. The smartest thing to do in this game is to figure out what you're dealing with.

Even if the whole party wanted to team up against Alice for example, it'd still be almost impossible to really win. Doing something like that is a good idea, but only if it becomes necessary.

Basically, I set things up, and you guys can decide how to deal with it.

>Terrance’s Phone

>Silver Flask (Truth Serum, 2 doses)

>Cold Iron crucifix necklace (coated in holy water)

Johnny Gains

>$5,945 [●●]

Caeda and Selene gain the Condition [sleepless] which will be treated like Shaken (automatically fail a roll and earn a beat) until they rest.

@Aquafan and now
