I'm leaning more to opening more "royal" slots, and they can be the older/younger sibling of those in the kingdom, since it's possible of having just more than two children in the royal family.

supermartinbros and I were talking out some things being we both play the heirs of Yukio.

First I had done a bit of world building for some of the culture surrounding the kingdom, if you see anything you disagree with Sign please let me know, I just had some fun with it.
Yukio Vol. 1
"The Land of Demons. Eternal Sakura and Snow. The appearance of fragility in a harsh world, that is Yukio."

Yukio being made up of mountains, has a staggering way of it's "social classes." Instead of being dictated by wealth, as Yukio certainly pales in comparison to it's sister kingdoms, it is dictated by an observance of humanity. Not by appearances, but by moral virtue, reason or instinct. The more "human" and civil live further up the mountain, while the most wild and ruthless prey at the mountains’ bases. The ruling family are well in keeping relationships with their people on the mountains, but almost always they must cut down those at the foot (or forfeit their own lives). When traveling at ground level, battle, gore, and death are common. Today it is an indifference. It is like the mail being delivered, or the sun rising, it’s just something that’s considered normal and accepted.​

The ruling family are often referred to as Yuki-Oni, a family mostly comprised of Oni and Yukiona. (Oni are like trolls/devils/demons, and Yukiona are snow-women [think Elsa I guess]) Yukioni are trained as part of their coming of age to tolerate alcohol, one way or another. The prince, heir, is considered “the dragon” while the princess, heir, is considered “the phoenix” or "fenghuang" Some believe that of the two (respectively) in addition to ice, one can control water, and one fire (perhaps breathe it, part of the oni). These are more myth due to lack of evidence beyond storytelling as most outside the kingdom aren't able to safely travel through unless the royalty actually decide to host them.​

Yukioni Vol 3.
"Three eyes are the third generation of The Yukioni, now they must walk out from the shades of red and white to a place strange and lonely."
I am applying with the eldest prince, Yukito, and super with the youngest princess, Nadeshiko. Between them is a middle child, a brother. I intended to make him a secondary character or npc who causes more drama and trouble for them, albeit with reason- it's not so black and white, if anyone is interested in playing him as a character. We would also love any ladies in waiting, play mates, scholarly friends etc.

Very interesting, but really good! Although the Kingdom of Lumina, they are the only royal family that can control magic, it's possible I can make it an exception that they have it there too, since it's more possible that the demons are able to learn magic. Very intriguing and good, which I perfectly don't mind (which is the reason why I leave the information on the roles so empty, so you all can color them your way).

I would wait for their input but I don't believe they would mind.

Yukio welcomes any kind of warriors in their fold, I have the mind that they don't necessarily believe in needing protection being what they are (and that they train and fight real fights, not just competitions or tournaments) but I would think each royal has like that one person that's always close by (I guess that's a bodyguard yeah?). So whether it's Prince Yukito, Prince [Name], or Princess Nadeshiko we'd love to have your character! I will say the father (king) and Yukito and the brother are not keen on assassins, they think lowly of them much like they do Argena. That's not to say your character cannot be an assassin, I just wanted to be forthcoming with that.

Thank you so much! Yeah, I don't see them as using magic so much but just those that's been mentioned (ice, water, fire) that align with their makeup if you will. Me and super were talking about how her character could use fire more and Yukito is unlikely to do so despite being part oni but I may use things like literal steam coming from him as a way of conveying a mood, emotion, etc. I also imagined they use seals as a way of imprisoning criminals (on the mountains, because the bottom and in the valleys are too unruly and wild for sealing). I don't particularly consider this magic either but let me know if you feel differently on this as well.

i'm okay with any color! if you find a picture you like for your character & it has pink hair or something, definitely don't worry.

though, if you did want to narrow your search down, most of the pictures i've been looking at had blonde, black or red hair. there's not a lot of variety when i search up "manhwa princes"

weatheringwings I can scratch the hired assassin part and just keep them as some kind of bodyguard, maybe they're just backup just in case, going off of what you said, I kinda was thinking maybe they were of a lower class and are attempting to elevate themselves despite being of baser instincts and more wild, maybe they were recruited as just a regular guard and soon rose in ranks because of their ruthlessness and ability to work well with the royal family?

honestly, i was thinking of waiting until i saw everyone else's age, but i'm leaning towards like 21-24!

They want to uphold morality, but not completely remove the beast fi that makes sense, sometimes you need that beast. What kind of demon are you thinking of making them? (It's not just limited to the two I mention). Also for some family breakdown of sorts-

King: Red Oni with pink and white hair | Queen: Yuki-Ona with a pale complexion and white hair (she's also deceased by the time this rp will start)

King's Lover: A human | Queen's Lover: unknown demon (still fleshing this out)

Children-
Eldest: Prince Yukito, Oni x Yuki-Ona ('true' Yukioni)
Middle: Prince [Name] Yuki-Ona x demon

I really like the idea of them being fairly beastie, I also like the idea of them cycling through the children. As for what kind of demon, I'm thinking some kinda ice like demon, they're going to be very pale with dark hair and just generally 'ice-like'. I also like to think they've been with the royal children for some time, and while they're probably more feral and wild when it comes to fighting, I like to think that they'd be fairly mannered at civil times.
