After the commotion happened, Veronica looked to Lyra and asked her. "Asking him if he's okay? Girl, I saw that you just rammed into that desk!" Veronica gave a confused look to Lyra and then it hit her. She was trying not to act so embarrassed! Veronica knew she had an attraction but certainly not this much. As she let Lyra to conversate with her scary smoke mate, veronica then noticed another girl walk into the room. She knew of the pink-haired girl to be Calista and wanted to introduce herself. Knowing that with whatever this curse was, she would still be able to know all and protect all of her student body. She motioned to Calista to sit beside her and asked, "You must be Calista. You wanna sit beside Lyra and I? This class can get boring sometimes". Veronica then tried to give a warm smile. As warm as she could, considering she is a vampire.

Nichole sniffled and cried under her shell of ice. She ate as much chocolate as she could get a hold of to help her calm down. Nichole swallowed and downed a bottle of milk. she sighed and dried her eyes. "C-calm down nikki...j-just calm down...s-stay sane..f-for emma. Stay sane.." she told herself hugging herself. Nichole closed her eyes and the ice melted and a ball of water appeared in front of her then dispersed. Nichole stood finally calm and started to slowly walk back to class. She forced herself to smile and walked back into the building and back to class. The smile never reached her eyes. "Im sorry for my actions sensei...i'll never do that again." Bowing to Liam but in the back of her mind she was just back to her old quiet self. Nichole stood and started walking back to her desk and sat down. She didnt say anything else and stayed quiet throughout the rest of the class.

Calista wasn't positive but she knew that something was going on, hearing a soft bam and turning her attention to see Lyra who was in great pain at the moment, her strange way of standing couldn't fool anyone that she was fine. Calista started to worry for the girl, unsure what to do seeing she was trying to stay strong, about to get up and help her, the girl from earlier came up to her, beautiful long light blonde hair that was way more blonder than hers. Judging from her appearance, she was quite smaller than Calista and seemed to be able to only reached to Calista's shoulder and was very adorable.

In her head, Calista was squealing at how cute she was, her appearance of a Victorian doll just like the one in England but to be approach by such an adorable girl made Calista flustered on what to do since she was also there when Calista made that terrible mistake. Her face was flushed with pure red, trying to think of what to say with Kuro glancing up at her with confused eyes. Kuro mewed at Calista, putting his paw on her chin as if he was saying "it is okay Calista" and trying to cheer her up.

Smiling down at Kuro, she pulled up her courage and smiled towards the girl,"S-sure! I wouldn't mind." Calista said, fist pumping herself in her mind for not stuttering so much. It seemed Kuro's magic had worked on Calista, reminding herself to give Kuro lots of love when class was over. Getting up from her seat, she awaited for the girl to lead her the way but then she remembered something,"Oh, I didn't get your name." Calista said, wanting to know the girl's name.

Killua sat on the roof of the school pondering what had occurred the previous couple days. Killua leaned his head back, enjoying the soft breeze. I wonder what Leo and Geno are doing. Should I go look for one of them? Nah.. I'll just sleep.. Then Killua dozed off. ()

Veronica stood up and presented herself with flair and majesty. "I am Veronica Elizabeth McCarter! Nice to finally meet you, Calista!" Veronica remembers that Calista was seen with another guy at the beginning of school. The black haired boy that was quite mysterious. She presumed he put his elbow on her head as a form of enjoyment or teasing her. She remembered his name as Shinji Aramaki. "So who was that boy you came with? Shinji? Is that a boyfriend. Maybe a brother?"

"I'm glad I'm back in your class again as well!" Mars couldn't help but stifle a laugh at Liam's enthusiasm. He had just hoped that this class wouldn't be as hard on the professor as last years was; people always seemed to pick on the poor guy, and even though Mars liked him, the professor made it very easy. Mars backed up slightly and placed his hand on his shoulder in order to prevent Liam from knocking his shoulder off with his repeated patting. "It was either this class or meditation, and even though meditation seems fun and all, I couldn't stay away from this class. You just make everything so interesting!"

That was only partially true. It was true that he found history very interesting, and Liam was great teacher for it. However, what kept him out of meditation was the teacher, Crysta. From what he heard, she could sense the aura of a person, being able to tell whether someone was good or evil. Mars always thought that he always did what he found necessary and with no harmful intentions, though a small part of him feared that Crysta would sense an evil aura within him. He wasn't the most supporting person after all ever since he dumped most of his emotions long ago. Mars took a seat where he placed his books while he waited.
~Lyra~

Not long after the girl had burst out of the room, the class's chaos resumed. Liam looked as if he was about to have an aneurysm, probably feeling depressed that he couldn't control his class. Poor guy...he really did try. Though he did look a bit silly with only half of his mustache. Lyra knew that he was, in fact, a good teacher. She studied with him last year. Of course, the students were way worse, but they are pretty much all the same in Liam's eyes. Only a handful of students have passed his class with an A. Lyra tapped her fingers along her chin, and of course, her eyes somehow managed to wander from Liam to Johnathon. She was sitting about two rows behind him, but she was positioned just perfectly to catch his profile...his...perfect profile...

Geez, why did she keep thinking like that?

Lyra didn't have to mentally scold herself for long, as her thoughts were silenced by a painful sounding cough from Johnathon. It was definitely violent, strong enough to actually put him off balance. After he seemed to steady himself, one again, his silver eyes locked on hers. There was a moment where the room seemed absolutely silent, and all she could see were those eyes...pulling her in, almost.

Quickly snapping herself out of it, the President jumped out of her seat and quickly wove through the desks in front of her to get to him. Of course, being Lyra, her hip caught on the corner of one of the desks, causing it to slide a few inches forward.

Don't scream, don't scream, don't scream. That hurt like hell! THAT HURT LIKE HELLLLL! Oh no, don't cry don't cry! You are STRONG! You are amazing! YOU ARE WOMAN!

Lyra paused for a moment, placing both hands on her (probably bruised) hip. She bit down on her lip and kept trying to think of positive thoughts, and not how much she was in pain. She almost smiled, thinking she'd sound like an old lady saying,
"I threw out my hip!"

It wasn't until she realized that Johnathon had probably seen the episode that she really had to use all of her willpower.

She couldn't go to his desk, she was frozen with embarrassment. Instead, she looked up with an awkward smile and asked, her voice cracking, "Are you okay?"

((wrote this mainly because I literally cracked my hip on a desk EVERY DAY when I was in public school
xD ))

~Professor Liam DiCaprio~

Liam nodded at Emma and said, "I will make sure to check your file, m'dear. For now, I'll write out your assignment with more pressure, alright?"

Just then, Mars came in. Liam's face lit up seeing the boy; Mars was one of his favorite students. So polite, so dedicated...and he didn't rip off half of the Professor's mustache!

"Mars, my boy! How are you? Did you have a good summer? Congratulations on making Student Council, I'm very proud of you! I was the Treasurer, once upon a long time ago...ha, those were the days! Oh, and you'll love today's lesson. It's about Monsters! Exciting, yes?" he rambled, patting Mars's shoulder with every point he made.
Johnathon, a thumb on his chin, his other hand beginning to rap away at the Imperial March on his desk, was left to his own brooding thoughts entirely, when the screeching of desk legs and an audible 'thud' made him spin around in place. Lyra was there looking straight ahead at him, her face screwed over in pain, and the culprit desk shoved off a little from its origin. His eyes turned a blank sheet with this new episode, and he wasn't at all entirely sure how to take it. Lyra was making her way towards him, that much was certain, and by the looks of it she bumped into the desk along the way? This was John's general line of thought. Why was she making her way towards him?

Back in Poland, Johnathon's homeland, he recalled a tale his younger sister had once told him. Looking back on it now though, he wasn't certain how much of a 'story' this was, rather than a high school girl's fantasy illustrated in a goofy little comic. It had a distinctive name - a Japanese one. Shojo? Shojo manga was it? His thoughts agreed with what recollection he had, so shojo manga he proceeded to call it. The story involved a girl and a guy. The girl had been awkward, got up from her desk, and sat on the guy's . . . lap. John reconsidered whether or not he had the story right, but then remembered the distinctive reaction played out by his little sister, following the lines of extreme drama. He was mundane at the time, ignorant to his sister's strong feelings toward the comic, yet by and by he now began to see how she could foster such a reaction from this exact kind of situation. So it was decided Lyra wanted to sit on his lap then?

Belatedly, Lyra's question connected with John. An epiphany was gained. She's wondering how I am . . . ? Confused, his lower lip began to curve downwards as he contemplated her motive and words (the epiphany, apparently, did not make sense). He rolled them over his head a few times, meanwhile Lyra was standing waiting for a response.

"I am . . . good, yes,"
he replied finally, a slight note of confusion ringing with his words. As he said this, he truly realized how Lyra had injured herself, and immediately the boy's heart filled with grievance. He began to sit up from his desk chair, his intent to see if she was alright, and while doing so he said, his expression worried, "Why ask me though? Look at you!"

~Lyra~

Lyra immediately put up a hand, closing her eyes and being unable to maintain her smile. One look at his expression did it. She made him worry about her, something she could hardly take. Lyra was the worrier. She was supposed to make sure everything was right. That was her job. When it was flipped around, it always put the girl in a spot she didn't quite know how to cope with. She didn't like it when people worried about her. In fact, she hated it.

Pulling one of her hands from her hip to wipe her watery eyes, you could clearly see the sharp corner of the desk had torn through her clothes and cut into her skin. She wasn't really bleeding, but it did look painful. Lyra looked back up at Johnathon and managed a small smile. "I'm fine, really! This happens to me all the time. It doesn't even hurt, see--"

Lyra winced as she removed both hands from the wound, and immediately put them back over it. She laughed nervously, and stuttered, "Well, maybe it stings a little, but it's nothing to worry about!"

~Professor Liam DiFranco~

Liam grinned at Mars one more time before he sat down, gathering up his teaching notes and preparing to begin class. Suddenly, Nichole walked back in, her eyes puffy and red from crying. After her apology, Professor DiFranco nodded and said, "It's alright, just get to your desk and take out a sheet of paper and a pencil to take notes."

Sorting through the sheets of paper, Liam sighed. What a wonderful lesson he had prepared! Surely, the kids would think it was "hip" and "totally righteous". Liam might've been smart, but as far as social skills went, he was absolutely clueless. His lesson was cool, though, all about monsters in the Otherworld and their origins. Xavier had insisted that Liam teach that first so some of his students would already have a basic understanding of what they were up against.

Standing up, Liam started to copy down some of his notes on to the chalkboard for his students to copy( not like all of them would even bother reading it). Just then, he heard a very loud cough. Turning, he could see Jonathan jolt in hid chair. Just as the teacher was about to ask him if he was alright,he heard a very loud thud followed by the screech of one of the desks sliding forward. It was Lyra, face flushed with her front teeth digging into her bottom lip. Both of her hands were placed over her hip, so Liam could only assume that was when she hit. Knowing her, she usually would've collapsed onto the floor, dramatically writhing in pain. Or, she would excuse herself and hobble out of the classroom to cry. This time, she stayed put, awkwardly shifting all of her weight to her good side and standing frozen. Then, she asked Jonathan if he was alright. Liam looked at the two worriedly, as they were both sort of a mess.

"Lyra, are you okay? That looked like it really hurt--"

The teacher froze midsentence upon seeing the red blood seeping through the girls clothes. The teacher gagged at the sight and smell blood, and would send a student away even if they only had a tiny papercut. Liam averted his eyes, and started to approach Johnathon to ask him if he was alright, but jumped back with a girly shriek.

What if he was sick?

WHAT IF HE WAS CONTAGIOUS?!

"J-Johnathon, u-um--" he stuttered, catching a glance of Lyra's bleeding hip. He clapped a hand over his mouth, stifling a gag as he took a few steps back. He managed to squeak out, "O-out! Both of you, to the infirmary! NOW!"

The teacher couldn't take it anymore. He swung open the door to his office, slamming it behind him, yelling, "SOMEONE GET ME WHEN THEY'RE GONE! I'm getting my disinfectant..."

~Professor Crysta Chime~

Crysta, still shaken up by the image she had seen, was elated to sense Aleksander entering the room. She stood up from her mat, walked over to him, and...hugged him. It was a little strange, but after experiencing something so full of malice, she needed something pure to soothe her. She slightly rocked back-and-forth, saying, "Aleksander, you came at just the right time."

Pulling back from the hug, the teacher gently brush some hair out of his face and smiled before walking over to her stove and making him a cup of tea. She copied almost exactly what she done with his tea before and handed it to him.

"I hope it's as good as last time. As I said, my tea changes every time I make it." she laughed, walking over to her own bamboo mat. Just that moment of contact with him made her feel better, making any evil thoughts subside...well, for the moment, at least.

Nichole took notes and wasnt her chippy hyper smiling self. She sighed and wrote slowly with not much interest. She hoped lyra would be ok. But at the moment nichole didnt give a crap about liam. She kept writing and rarely started to feel anger again. Nichole's eyes were covered by her hair again and her writing got harder and harder nearly making marks into the desk! Nichole then slapped herself. "No you're always supposed to be happy. Happy happy happy!" Giggling and her eye twitched. "All better."

Johnathon took one more look at Lyra's wound and was immediately up and out of his chair, knocking it to the side in the process. "Nothing to worry about my ass!" he retorted, unaware of how ridiculous the sentence sounded with a Polish accent. His eyes darted around the classroom, resting on Veronica in particular. Surely she would side with him on this if Lyra was hurt? He was about to say something, examine Lyra's wound himself, when the teacher's stuttering and wimpy voice sounded behind him.

"J-Johnathon, u-um--"

John's head snapped back to regard the silly teacher, one foot already a step towards Lyra. His eyebrows raised themselves a smidgen in impatience, annoyance even. "Professor?" The tone of his voice was not courteous, but as the teacher began a retreat backwards, the tone dropped and his puzzlement grew.

"O-out! Both of you, to the infirmary! NOW!"

His mouth opened in immediate protest, John gawked at the professor with wide eyes. What just happened . . . ? Not a moment later, the teacher had made a dash for his own office and slammed the door shut, leaving Johnathon in one of the most awkward predicaments yet. Standing upright in the near center of the classroom, Lyra two or so feet away, and a field of eyes watching him. What could he do? What was there to do? "Do we just . . . go to the infirmary?" John said in an undertone, asking himself as much as anyone within ear shot, as his eyes scanned the room in a moment of helplessness. It was impossible to forget Lyra however, whimpering beside him, trying her best not to cry in pain. As his eyes settled on her again, Johnathon knew fixing her up would be top priority - even if it wasn't serious. But to him, it was serious, creating the contrary to fact moment of the day.

Grabbing Lyra by the hand, John outstretched his arm to support her by wrapping it around the waist of her slender figure. He was now positioned behind her, holding her right hand with his right, and his left arm caressing the girl's wound. A small tingle burst to life in his stomach; a hint of red touched his cheeks. He was uncomfortable from that very minute onward, and let out a small, barely audible, gulp. With the position he had taken up, Lyra's head couldn't rest anywhere but his chest, lest she wished to stick her neck forward like a pigeon's. And that, above all, made Hawthorne's residential smoker uneasy.

His last words to the class before guiding he and Lyra out were, "Veronica! File the edges of those desks off while we're away!"

Geno stared at the pot of tea. He wasn't that into tea, had he been offered directly he'd probably had grabbed some, but this didn't feel like it was worth it. He was more of a coffee kind of guy, anyway. He looked over his shoulder at the teacher hugging someone he hadn't seen before. A tall guy who didn't really look like he belonged here. Geno shook his head. He shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. He'd be just as bad as everyone else if he did. "Sigh.. Trying to be the good guy is hard.." He whispered, hoping nobody heard him.

Some girl he hadn't noticed before had sat down next to him, but she didn't seem to want to hold a conversation or anything, so he decided to ignore her for now. He leaned forward and looked down at the ground, and began thinking of the lesson itself. Meditation and Focus. He had picked it because it sounded like a lesson where you really didn't have to do much, and just sit and meditate or something, which would be lovely right now... As... He...... Was......... Pretty.............. Tired............. He fell asleep in his position on the floor. He didn't snore, but god, would he be ashamed if he knew what he was doing right now. But he clearly doesn't. Duh.

~Lyra~

Lyra was clenching her teeth so hard that she felt like her jaw might break. The pain was fading in her hip, in fact, she wasn't even thinking about it anymore. She felt stupid and ridiculous for causing such a scene, as it was only a scratch. This was definitely not good Presidential behavior.

"Nothing to worry about my ass!"

Lyra looked up at Johnathon, her eyebrows raising in surprise as he said the words. He had jumped up from his chair, and Lyra couldn't help but lower her head. She was not going to start crying, that was for sure. It would only make him feel worse. She didn't look up, but tried to force herself to say, "I'm perfectly fine, really, it's just a scratch."

It came out sounding like, "I'm...perfect. I--I mean I'm...fine! It's--just a..."

She uncomfortably tried to get the words out, her voice shaking and cracking like there was no tomorrow...but she wasn't going to cry. Now, all of her thoughts were completely drawn from the original pain she felt. She was too embarrassed and upset with herself.

"O-out! Both of you, to the infirmary! NOW!"

Lyra looked up again just in time to catch the sight of Liam fleeing to his office. The corner of her mouth pulled up into a slight smile; the teacher really was good at making her laugh. She looked back up at Johnathon and said, "We might as well go, his not coming out until--"

Before she could say anything else, she could feel his hand take hers, and he gently pulled her into his outstretched arm, which wrapped around her waist in order to support her. Lyra's face was slapped with embarrassment; not the kind she had just felt a moment ago, but the girlish kind. The ohmigod-look-how-close-he-is kind (not that that really was a kind of embarrassment, but Lyra couldn't explain it any other way in her head.). Lyra started out very awkwardly, slightly poking her head out to avoid laying it on his chest. Within a few second, this proved vey uncomfortable, and she just leaned back slightly.

She didn't want to cry anymore. She almost forgot about her wound. The only thing she could think, was,
"Oh...my...gosh...why is he doing this? Why is he bothering? Why does he care? Why didn't he just LISTEN?"

Thinking back on Mars's words, her expression darkened slightly. What if he was just doing this because everyone was watching? What if the only reason he was doing this was so he wouldn't come off as a complete jerk? She felt the pit in her stomach return as she leaned on him, and blinked the thoughts away.

Even if he might not really care, he is helping you. That's all that matters...right?

Of course, Lyra hardly believed this, but she couldn't help the thoughts creeping back into her mind. The two hobbled to the door, and Lyra cringed at the shooting pain that travelled from her hip bone and down her leg.

"Veronica! File the edges of those desks while we're away!"

Lyra smiled slightly, saying, "Oh, Liam's going to love that...Veronica, I'll be back in a bit! I'll meet you at your dorm after class!"

And they had made it out of the classroom. Immediately, the girl began apologizing.

"I am so sorry! I am so, so, SO sorry. If I wasn't so clumsy that wouldn't have happened...please forgive me!" she said, reeling out apologies expertly. When Lyra apologized, she really committed.

"You have my deepest and most unconditional apologies, and I am in your debt. If you ever need a--"

She gasped as the pain in her hip had a sudden spike. She once again bit down on her lip and squeaked, "...if you ever need a favor, please ask me."

~Headmistress Kinya Weatherstone~

Kinya had made it into Hawthorne's library, which was an amazing (and gigantic) facility, having four huge floors of nothing but shelves and shelves of books. There were many desks and tables sprinkled about the place and computers that were open for student use, and most of the books weren't ones you would find in the average library, being about obscure Otherworld themes or written by gifted authors. Of course, Hawthorne had mostly all of the books you would find in the average library as well for student enjoyment.

But Kinya wasn't there to read about fantasy wizards or wimpy vampires, she was there to find books about curses. If she was going to find a way to cute Veronica, she had to start researching right away.

"Excuse me, where can I find books on dark magic?" Kinya asked in a low voice, leaning over the counter that the librarian was sitting behind. Giving the Headmistress a confused look, she replied, "The fourth floor, in the 'Teacher's Only" section. Here, let me get you the key..."

The librarian ducked down and rummaged around for the key for a moment. When she found it, she dropped it in the Headmistress's hand and said, "I hope you find what your looking for."

Kinya thanked her, and then started towards the stairs. Looking up, she groaned. She really needed to talk to someone about getting an elevator.

"Veronica... what a pretty name." Calista thought, the name was pretty but strange since Calista remember from reading in one of her books that the name meant "true image", confused what the name meant. Calista decided that it was best to not know, her gut feeling telling her to let it go and accept her identify.

The next thing Veronica said caught Calista off guard, Calista flustered by Veronica's comment about Shinji,"N-no! He's nothing like that." Calista said and took a deep breath, calming her beating heart,"He's just a childhood friend, more like an older brother to me." Calista said, a small but warm smile appeared on her face when she told her. Shinji really was a great "brother" to Calista and she never really saw Shinji as something like a "lover" or someone she was attracted to though he was handsome.

Shinji did once confessed to her about his crush on her when they were kids, the memory of that day still lingered in Calista's mind.

-warning this is SUPER long @-@-

Two young kids and a kitten were hanging around in the forest, laughing and jumping with joy. Their innocent smiles shined brightly like the sun. Calista and Shinji were both having the time of their life, Shinji without a scary mask and his young, baby face shown to the world to see and Calista's timid personality and low self esteem had not occurred yet. Shinji's eyes were also not blood red but were lovely chocolate brown, glinting with happiness in them. He didn;t even have any wounds or bandages on him of the sort, the terrible event of that have not occurred yet for Shinji.

The two had been running around in the woods playing with sword which were just plain twigs they found along the ground and were fighting the vicious dragon king, Kuro, the cat hissing at them and jumped onto them, Calista squealing and Shinji being her knight and protecting her,"Take that you evil dragon!" Shinji cried out and tackled the little Kuro to the ground, the cat clawing to be freed from Shinji's death hugs.

Letting Kuro go, the cat dashed off deeper into the woods to chase after a rabbit that he saw. Leaving the two kids alone, huffing and laughing,"Thank you, my knight!" Calista said and pulled Shinji into a hug, a blush formed on Shinji's face as he returned the hug,"Anything for my princess." Shinji said, Calista giggling and letting him go.

Taking a seat on the ground, Calista stared up at the sky, seeing the sun lighting up the sky with many different colors,"Wow! Look Shi! The sky is so beautiful!" Calista exclaimed, pointing up to the colorful sky. Shinji also looked up at the colorful sky, smiling up to the sky, Shinji glanced over at Calista. Getting up from his spot, Shinji stood in front of Calista, his face expressionless.

Calista turned her attention away from the sky, looking up at Shinji dumbfounded,"What's wrong Shi?" Calista asked confused why her friend was acting weird now. Shinji just stood there with his eyes showing a strange emotion in them, Calista can't really tell what it was. Taking Calista's hands into his, he pulled Calista up and placed a kiss on her cheek, getting on his knees. Calista couldn't help but gasped when Shinji kissed her cheek, her hands in Shinji's. From the look of it, it seemed as if Shinji was proposing to Calista just like when a man propose to his girl.

Looking up at Calista, Shinji gave her another smile, a smile filled with love and his eyes showing hope in them,"Cali, for all those times we have been together. I always hid this but I now have the courage to say what have been on my mind. A girl who always been there for me, a girl who is so pretty and I just want to say..." Shinji said taking a deep breath,"I like you, Calista Vance." Shinji confessed using Calista's full name to show how serious he was, his smile growing bigger and his heart beating faster like a horse running a race.

Calista couldn't say anything, her voice being swept away by the wind and her deep-blue eyes widen in shock. She have never thought her best-est friend would ever have these feelings for her, looking down at their hands. Taking a second to catch up on what Shinji was saying, she then gripped at Shinji's hand, pulling him up from the ground, staring into Shinji's dark brown orbs,"Shi... I-" Calista started, feeling of regret and pain filled her chest,"I'm sorry Shinji... I can't accept your feelings." Calista said, letting Shinji's hand go,"I love you but not that kind of love." Calista explained, only seeing Shinji as a brother and a friend, nothing more and nothing less.

Not sure what to do, Calista gave Shinji a hug,"I.. better go. See you tomorrow Shi." Calista said and ran off past him, out of the woods and leaving Shinji alone in the woods. Shinji couldn't say anything, because Calista already left before he could speak but what could he say? His heart was broken and the worst part of all of this, he was moving back. Moving back to his homeland, Japan and it was tomorrow. Falling to his knees, Shinji just stood like that, motionless and silence the only company he had until it was disturbed by a noise, the sound of grass crunching under what sounded like footsteps.

Coming out of the woods was a boy, a little older than Shinji and had a pair of cat ears and a tail that sway behind him. His eyes was a pair of glowing headlights and a single sharp tooth stuck out from his lip. Walking over to Shinji's side, the cat-like boy bent down and patted him on the head gently,"Let's go... master."

She wasn't serious right? Veronica looked to the teacher Liam and wondered if she should actually file the desk edges. That would take forever. Well, she was a vampire, she does have forever. She then disregarded it and looked to Lyra who was leaving. Not again. Big sis has got to stop running into things. She had thought to herself, giggling. When she turned back to hear Calista's response to her. "Oh well, you guys just seemed quite close. Sorry if I intruded" Then it seems as if Calista had gone back somewhere. To think about something quite carefully. Then she was back in another few seconds. "You didn't just see the future did you?" Veronica looked perturbed at Calista's small spacing out and giggled a bit. "Oh by the way, at dinner tonight. Would you like to sit with Lyra and I? It's a small table and there's only a few student council members".

Snapping out of her flashback, Calista looked towards Veronica and giggled, shaking her head,"Oh, sorry about that. I was just thinking about something." Calista said, Kuro mewing, wanting to get Calista's attention again. Rubbing his head against Calista's chin, Calista giggled and petted his head, scratching him under the chin,"Yes, yes, I know you're here." Calista cooed to Kuro, the cat purring happily with her touch. Kuro had been quite selfish lately, the reason because it had been so long since he last saw Calista, Shinji and him getting back from Japan just last week and have crashed over at Calista's place for the time being.

Looking up at Veronica, Calista felt that she must really be intruding on the student council, disbelief swept over Calista,"To sit with the student council? It feels like I just got a VIP pass." Calista thought and without hesitation, agreed to Veronica's offer,"I would love to but umm... they're nice right?" Calista asked, wary of the council and hoping that they were all friendly.

Maria sat bored on her bamboo mat in the Meditation & Focus classroom, hardly paying attention to anything and feeling half-asleep. She let her head bob side to side and let her mind wander.

I can't remember; Did the dorm have a kitchen in it or not? Maybe I could make breakfast for Veronica tomorrow... Did I bring my laptop with me? Maybe I should just read for a little while... Or do what I'm supposed to be doing.
Maria looked around the room at everyone around her, somewhat puzzled. Wait, what am I even supposed to be doing? Were we even told what to do? All I remember being told is to sit down at a mat...

"I would love to but umm... they're nice right?"

Veronica giggled at her reaction. "Of course! We're lovable. Well, maybe some of us." Veronica looked to mars and laughed playfully. Knowing his personality and how they would always argue. "trust me, you'll be welcomes right there. I'm sure you've met Lyra." Veronica looked to see the small black cat in her lap and reached to pet it. "It's adorable! Whats it's name?" As veronica touched the cat she remembered that the Shinji boy had the small black cat come along with him. She remembered seeing it by him at the gate this morning. "hmm. So is this Shinji's cat?" She said, perturbed.

Blake glowered at Shinji when he joked about him checking him out, as if he would. Why would he check out someone like him because he obviously wasn’t looking at how his skin glistened and dripped a bit with sweat from the sun beating down on him or how he would run his long fingers though his sleek and lustrous hair. Also those eyes...those damn eyes peeking from behind the clunky gasmask, crimson orbs which shone and glimmered in the sun’s light and that had so much depth to them Blake could look at them for eternity...

Shit

Rolling his eyes at Shinji's lame joke Blake crossed his arms haughtily, "Oh I don't know, you could shove it up your ass or maybe take off that clunky gasmask, seriously why do you wear it any? I'm surprised you haven't got a heat stroke from wearing that thing." Blake scoffed.

Blake figured instead of dancing around the question he'd just ask and if Shinji didn't want to answer than alright…whatever, he wasn’t one to prod. Even though Blake was curious as to what his face looked like, something that had nothing to do with gazing at his probably gorgeous face, he wouldn't press further, but he wouldn't deny he wanted to know why and what he looked like and why he would put himself through the pain of wearing that thing.

Geno slowly leaned further and further forward in his position, and eventually he lost all upper body strength, and fell face first into the back of a small girl in front of him. This, of course, woke him up. He sat up straight with haste, and looked at the girl he had faceplanted onto. "Sorry, I must've dozed off..." He stopped and looked at the girl with his tired eyes in disbelief. He pushed up his aviators and said "I must still be dreaming... I don't go to school with five year olds...." and so he fell back asleep in the same uncomfortable position.

Calista sighed in relief and nodded, believing Veronica,"Then I'll gladly accept the offer." Calista said, delighted to make so much friends so easily but she wasn't sure about the council, still wary of her meeting with them,"Let's hope I don't do anything stupid." Calista thought and prepared herself for anything. While thinking up ways to make herself seem appropriate for the council, she didn't notice that Veronica was petting Kuro, the black cat looking up at her and accepted her affections, purring loudly.

Hearing Kuro's loud purring, Calista giggled softly,"This is Kuro." Calista said, Kuro's pointy ears perked up at the sound of his name being called, looking up at Calista as if saying "Yes?" and waiting for Calista's orders. Petting him gently on the back, Calista continued,"Yes, this is Shi's cat. He very friendly and loves getting attention though he usually runs away." Calista said,"Do you like cats?" She asked curiously, seeing Veronica seemed to have a liking towards Kuro.

Shinji grin at Blake through his mask, already knew that this question would come. Placing the gum on his lap and his elbow, he straighten himself up and lend forward, his ruby eyes never leaving Blake,"Hmm.. I have my reasons.. are you curious enough to find them out Mr. Secretary?" Shinji said, his words lingered with mischief in them. Placing his hand over the mask, Shinji smirked and glanced over at Blake,"Wanna know what under this heavy gas mask of mine?" Shinji said, slowly pulling the gas mask upward a bit, his chin showing a bit. He was really gonna take off his mask, to reveal the secret under his mask!

"Heh. Like I would do such a thing."

Shinji was only teasing, his mask plopping back onto his face and his hand back to his side,"If you really wanna know Mr. Secretary, you'll have to get closer to me." Shinji said, his words true, if Blake really wanted to know, he would have to work hard to get close to Shinji, somewhere on the level where Calista was.

-Shinji... such a tease~ XDDD-

Maria gasped and fell forward upon being fallen onto and struggled to get free for a few moments until whatever - Or whoever - Was holding her down got off of her. She let out a little sigh and stretched her arms out, then looked over her shoulder at Geno.

"Sorry, I must've dozed off," Said the... Man? Boy? She couldn't quite say. Everyone seemed to look ageless to her unless they were old. Whoever he was, he seemed to be putting a lot of effort into looking cool and not much effort into staying awake. She ought to get him some coffee after class, or dunk his head in ice water. Either one works. Maria stared at her reflection in the manboy's aviators until he opened his mouth to say something else.

"I must still be dreaming... I don't go to school with five year olds...." Geno's head drooped and his jaw slacked a bit, which seemed to be a fair enough indicator that he was asleep again. Maria tightened her hands into fists and her cheeks became a little bit red from anger, though she quickly let the comment go and turned away from Geno.

Shinji's stare unnerved him a bit, it was shrouded and testing like he knew and seen a lot more than Blake originally thought he did. He didn't say anything when Shinji asked him if he was curious enough, okay well he did snort a bit as the mysterious bullshit and tease thing he was pulling on him was intriguing but annoying, he just wanted a yes or a now...but apparently it was a no because right when he was taking it off he his face he put it right back.

That tease...that mother fucking tease...

"Tch I knew it would be too easy if you just took it off...” Blake commented.

Thinking about it, Blake truthfully wanted to get to know Shinji better, not just for the mask, although he'd never admit to that part...EVER. Blake took a minute to ponder about it until he finally decided to go along with it.

To hell with it.

"Fine I'll play your little game," Blake replied as a tiny smirk formed.

After Blake announced he'd play along Blake looked up to the sky, it really was getting uncomfortably hot, almost to the point of scorching, though that might be the fact that he was sitting directly under the sun. His eye under his eye patch was also getting itchy and irritated as well. He debated against going inside though as he liked sitting with Shinji even though he could be insufferable at times...well okay that's a lie, he was insufferable all the time.

Killua sat on his bamboo mat. Killua was starting to get restless in this school. He needed a challenge. Something to give him some thrill. Killua realized hi smind was wondering. I need to clear my head. Killua thought. So Killua cleared his head of all thought and meditated.

Leona sat, watching the small scene with Geno and Maria, not sure what to do. Maria looked upset about the five year-old comment, which was understandable, but at this point, Leo had no idea how to handle either of these two people. Maybe if she apologized to her for him? But she didn't know him, so that might upset one of them, or both...! Oh no, what was she supposed to do...? "Um... Excuse me... Miss... I'm sure he didn't... mean anything by it... He's only tired... I think... I'm sorry..." The redhead's voice came out barely above a whisper as she glitched nervously, terrified that she'd done something wrong by speaking up.

Maria turned toward Leona and stared at her for a moment, clearly confused. "Oh - No, no, it's all right. You needn't apologize for him," Maria gave her a reassuring smile. "Besides, I get that a lot, though it's usually more like ten or twelve years old." Maria noticed Leona glitch after she finished what she was saying and jumped a little, but smirked with intrigue moments later. "That - What you just did there - It was interesting. I've never seen anything quite like it," Maria said. "Perhaps it's linked to your... Gift, power, whatever you'd like to call it. Whatever it is, it seems incredible-"

Maria paused for a moment, realizing she may be stepping near emotional land-mines with this girl, here. She waved away the "Powers" topic and set herself back on track with the conversation. "Er, thank you for coming over here. You're too kind, miss." Maria gave Leona a friendly smile, hoping she hadn't offended the girl or made her feel nervous.
