Amalia: 'She's quiet, like me...but that only makes her hard to talk to. I don't really mind her, but I don't think she could do me much good...I'm fascinated by her magic, though. I want to know more about it.'


Valentina: 'I get the impression she doesn't like me very much, but I feel like she's someone I can look up to. I wonder if I could get her to accept me...?'


Jaila: 'I dread the day she picks a fight with me...I feel like it's bound to come, sooner or later...'


Wyre: 'She seems kind, and I feel like I can go to her for anything. If I become friends with her, will Lord Harrison look kindly upon me, too? I also wonder about this 'Helios' she's always speaking to. I like it best when she plays music. I want to listen to her songs more and more...

Im going to say a few things on this matter. 1) its an rp, so whatevs. 2)they're considered objects so they supposedly dont have feelings 3) love can transcend age and 4) i always do 1 or two ships in an RP and almost ALL the women are that young.

Right, so a few things.


@Lovable Dark-side , in your post you said that the meetings and showings would be going on at the same time? Did you mean all the showings will happen, and then all the meetings? Or the showings and the meetings are happening together? Cause the following posts seem to be leading towards the former...?


Also about their world... (if some of this is off-limits then you don't have to answer, obviously...or maybe we're allowed to make it up as we go along, but I want to try and make sure of your intent before I start prattling off ideas IC).

• The bracelets were made by mages, so is it possible for a Child of the Arcane to live freely? Or are the mages also used as slaves to certain business people who sell their talents off? If the former, is it linked with age? (As in, once an adult, they are free? Only asking because the world 'child' is in there, lol).
  
• As long as someone's power isn't blatantly obvious, wouldn't it be possible for them to blend in common life? Are there some sort of Witch Hunt type things to try and root out these people?
  
• Is Del'tonia one country, and is all that country desert, and is Harrison King of that whole country, or is he a Lord within a realm within it?
  
• Outside of Del'tonia, are there other countries in this world and do they also have Arcane and would their views towards them be different? (IE: Once you cross the border into XYZ country, your freedom is no longer up for grabs)...maybe there is some sort of illegal trafficking movement to kidnap Arcane in other countries and ship them across the border where they could be sold.....ooh devious.
  
• What is the religion like; is it different among certain villages, with paganistic offshoots being linked with smaller communities, as a part of a larger paganistic religion, or in opposition to a larger monotheistic religion? (Sorry this is worded confusingly, but I'm referring to something like Ancient Greece where they had all the "Cults" that later brought certain local Gods into more popular worship, ect). Assuming you had something in mind for this because of Wyre, but also guessing she's not the only one who'd have a run in with religious faith.
  
• In the Lore it's mentioned that at least some of the guards are somewhat resistant to Arcane magic...is this a trait some are born with, or is it something that can be learned, and how does it work? (Like are they impervious to magic or can lessen the effects of someone's magic against them?). For example, if there was one such guard and Nikolai used his power to make him fall to ground or something, because he is immune, it wouldn't work. But then, what if Nikolai were to cause an Earthquake or some such in the guard's whole surrounding area....how would the guard feel the effects?
  
• Or maybe I was just misreading something about that segment
  
• Similarly, is Harrison also in this Arcane-resistant vein?
  
• How long has Harrison been collecting people?
  
• Is there any visual or otherwise related cue to show when the bracelets are losing their power and have to be replaced? Would the dolls be able to pick up on this? Is it something some of them are already aware of? Or do they not know about the bracelets' weaknesses at all?
  

I really love fantasy worlds and world building and since Rune has been running around outside for so long I figured it would be nice to have some grounds on what could be incorporated into flashbacks, so sorry for all the questions. @,@

@Pretzel Heart don't be sorry. I love it when people ask questions about my worlds. It makes me feel like I actually made something worth creating. As to your questions I'll answer them in order.


1. All showings will be happening simultaneously, but in different rooms. Ex: Nico's and Aaqilah's will be happening in a large more stage like area with plenty of room for throwing things and there are no chairs. Due to the fact a wayward prop could hit someone. Now Wyre's room is smaller, but is made more to intensify her abilities. The meetings whoever will be taking place sometime during showings. Not from the very beginning that way guest can see a bit of a show before the interviews. But about 15 minutes in Rune and all others who are assigned to meetings will have to cut their viewing short and go to the southern parlor.


2. Mages and Children of the arcane are two different things. Though the both have arcane abilities the Children of the Arcane abilities are innate with less control about them. Mages have to study and memorize spells from a young age and once they get to a certain age their magic sort of lock within a certain spectrum (if anyone wants their back up character just p.m. me). It is not linked with age The term "Child(ren) of The Arcane" Is a title . As for Mages being free... They aren't treated as bad, but they are still considered taboo. Most Mages are either caught and used as servants or imprisoned.


3. If there powers aren't blatantly noticeable, then yes they could probably live a semi normal life if they are extremely careful. But lets also be realistic here. Unless you kill every single person on Harrison's land there is no way you want all have wanted posters within the next week. There are people who hunt down the arcane though and see the signs of someone being an arcane.


4. Del'Tonia is an empire that engulfs several countries. Lord Xander Jane Harrison is one of it many sub rulers that work under the King ( I have't named him yet). Not all of it is desert in fact a lot of the world is pretty plush. Harrison just choose the Eastern desert for its tactical advantage. You will learn more about the world as you travel through it. I'm even making a map!


5. Outside of Del'tonia's empirical range there are a few who think and view the Arcane differently as there is bound to be. There names will be disclosed along with their views on the arcane until you happen upon the information in the rp.


6. Religion Del'tonia has wide array of religions. Wyre's goddess is just one of many in this world. But it is a lot like a Greek society as there are a few main ones and a crap ton of side gods & goddesses. There are even those who worship the arcane or at least think their bodies hold the power of healing many sickness. (Not recommended to be caught by these guys).


7. Magic immunity is something you are born with not something you can be taught. It is highly sought after when creating marital contracts.
