Alexander let out a helpless sigh and started to drift off again.

Alexander woke a few hours later, coming out of a nightmare. "Eliza!" He said worriedly, looking around. He stood up, not seeing her on the floor. "Eliza!!"

Alexander gasped as she hugged him. He buried his face in her shoulder and squeezed her tightly. "Oh, god, Eliza, I'm so sorry. I'm so, so sorry." He whispered into her skin.

"I'm so sorry for everything, Eliza." He whispered, shaking. He was talking about his fling with Maria, but Eliza probably had no clue.
