So I had an idea that Gierrick's faction could decide to kick him out as part of the story to both add conflict and ensure that he doesn't end up OP due to resources.

likely best to try and get your guy ported to Hakamy and have him start reaching the point of meeting up with his faction.

1. Write your character's impression on the dreadhorde's behavior and the reason why they left the plane (I think you've done that)
2. Write a good, solid description of the place you arrive in. The more details the better, since as prior mentioned the descriptions will come to be used as flavor text for the cards.
