"Yeah...she's strong..." Ichigo hadn't gotten up.





"I don't want to fight you, but I will if I must at some point. And I'll keep an eye on you, but I won't do like them and act like your need to be watched over like some little kid. It'd be nice if we could be friendly. I'd like someone to hang around that isn't stupid like those two," Reika said.

Mercer finished his second glass before responding. "I suppose you are right," he said, "but what in this life comes easy. Look at it this way, Im sure that the extra power which that mask provided has saved your life before. If that's the case, isn't it worth it? But that's just my opinion."

Lena shrugged, "If you look at it that way, it is helpful." She agreed, not even halfway done with her first drink. "It's just kind of annoying sometimes when your inner Hollow comments on everything you do." She laughed, taking another drink

"I suppose that could drive you mad," Mercer said. He tired to picture it for a moment, and decided he'd probably try to kill the hollow before the first day way was through. Perhaps he shouldn't pursue a mask. "So how do you like the club?" Mercer asked.

Lena looked around them, "Its definitely a change from what I'm used too, but I wouldn't say it's a bad one." She laughed, smiling

"No offense, but Ill take this over the Seireitei any day of the week. Im not a fan of just sitting still and giving reports, id rather be out and doing something. I don't know why I'm so reckless, maybe its because I never lived a full life. Anyway care for another drink?"

"Trust me, I'm with you. This is much better than the Sereitei." Lena agreed, finishing her first drink and nodding, "Sure, why not?" She wasn't a lightweight, she could handle a few drinks in her system

Mercer signaled to the bartered and requested two more glasses of ale. "Here you go," said Mercer as he handed Lena her mug, "So how do you like your squad, your lieutenant?"

Lena nodded when he handed her the mug, taking a drink. "They're good people. My lieutenant is really helpful, and the squad functions good on the field. Sometimes there's little disputes, but that's normal for any squad." She told him, before asking, "What about your squad?"

"My lieutenant, Hisagi, is a good person. The problem is he is still isn't completely over Kaname's betrayal. Honestly the whole squad is still dealing with it. I need to work hard to get these men to respect me as someone they can trust. They are good people and Im proud to lead them. I hope I can restore everything that was lost." Mercer then raised his glass to his lips a drank.

Lena nodded, "I'm sure you will. It was hard for everyone to deal with the betrayals. I think Squad Three's Lieutenant, Kira, is taking Gin's betrayal really hard." She said sympathetically. "I would've never thought we had traitors amongst us."

"The signs were always there, we should have known. I could have guaranteed we'd see traitors and power plays, but I just wasn't expecting it from captains. I should seen it, man I've gotten sloppy. Did you see much action in the fight?"

Lena nodded, "I was in Hueco Mundo with Byakuya to save Rukia. It was kind of difficult, due to my inner Hollow being more active there. But I managed." She explained. "I didn't get as injured as my brother and sister, but I still had a couple of bad injuries."

 

[Tombstone]

"Im glad you're still with us, though I'm sorry to hear about those injuries," Mercer said, "How many Arrancar did you fight?"

As Ray arrived in Seireitei, he sighed. "Were is my Lieutenant..." He said and looks puzzled.

Jushiro made his way back to the seireitei after his fight with that very strange quincy he was tired and quite hungry. As he entered the sereitei he saw his captain standing not too far in front of him.


"Hey, captain!" he called out making his way towards him.

Ray sighed. "Yuaeda, what's that for a Reiatsu on your Zanpakutoh?" He asked and raised and brow.

"Well I received a hollow alert and ran to the material world as fast as I could, but I got cut off by a very strange quincy. He didn't use a bow as a weapon, not even close he had several tentacle like tails. I decided to pull out of battle seeing as I couldn't use my bankai. He was quite powerful though, and didn't seem to be an ally, but I'm not quite sure he was an enemy either he was very strange." Jushiro took a deep breath after expelling the mouthful and bowed to the captain.

Glass was walking around the human world city with his mask off as his white hair waved in the breeze as he smiled thinking about the fight earlier.

Ray looks surprised. "Hmm... Quincy with Tentacles... I should..." Maybe this quincy works together with that Anti-Shinigami Crew, it would be better if I go... but Ancrath and Kuchiki are in the Material World too. I could contact them, but I don't know if they're fighting already... Smoke start to come out Ray's head. "Grrr... I go to the Material World! And you... Do what you want!" He said to Jushiro and smiled at him.

Jushiro instantly saw the concern on his captain's face and the smoke coming out of his head. He said that he was to head back to the human world. "I'm going with you captain!" he yelled as he ran after the captain. "Whats on your mind?" Jushiro asked him as he trailed behind him.

"I don't know what I'm going to do..." Ray said and looks serious. "Is he strong? The Quincy?" Ray asked.

Jushiro thought about the question. " I can't really say I didn't really test his strength to the fullest extent, to be honest I may have killed him with the cero I fired but I doubt it seeing as I only put 20% of my power into it, but I only hollowfied long enough to fire a cero and I didn't even use my shikai at full power."


He considered his words for a second "I'd say there's a good chance that he's got other hidden power as well though I sensed something very dark about him that I couldn't put my finger on." He continued following behind the captain as he spoke.
