Callum smiled wide and brought her into a hug. "Look, it's already doing good things for you! It worked Em!" He smiled and kissed her deeply.

 

[Dragongal]

Em returned the kiss happily, then gave him a few more sloppy, quick kisses as she laughed. "Oh Cal this is great! Once this headache goes away, we should go out and dance and have a nice dinner and all!"

 

[Solar Daddy]

"I agree completely." He smiled and returned the kiss. "I'm going to treat you to the dinner I've always wished I could Em, you deserve it."

 

[Dragongal]

Later that night, her headache was gone, and she dressed in a simple dress and pulled her hair up beautifully. Tpgether, they went to a dining hall, and danced for a while, then sat down to food and some alcohol. She ate soup, salad, lamb, steak, breads, she sampled everything she could. At some point as they were talking, she propped her head up in her hand, and within a few minutes, she was asleep at the table. She hadn't realized that she couldn't go two days without sleeping anymore.

Callum had practically fallen out of his seat once he realized she was asleep. He made sure not to make a scene though, and continued to eat for a moment before gently touching her foot with his. "Pssst, Em."

 

[Dragongal]

Em groaned and picked up her head a bit to look at him. "What? 'M tired...."

 

[Solar Daddy]

Callum nodded. "Finish up what you want to eat and we'll head home, okay?" He said.

 

[Dragongal]

Em nodded tiredly and took a few more bites of her food, then laid her head down again.

 

[Solar Daddy]

Callum chuckled and stood up, walking to the other side of the table and tapping her shoulder. "Come on Em, let's go home."

 

[Dragongal]

Em glanced up at him, then stood and leaned on him. "Cal, why am I so tired...?"

 

[Solar Daddy]

"You can't just not sleep for days anymore love, you're human now. Or, at least mostly human."

 

[Dragongal]

Em nodded slightly, then wrapped her arms around his neck. "Carry me please?" Her voice was so quiet and innocent, it was like she hadn't just changed from a murdering monster to half murdering monster mix.

 

[Solar Daddy]

Callum smiled at Em and said, "How can I say no to you?" He asked, making sure they were outside before picking Em up and carrying her towards the Inn they were currently staying at. He got a few glances as he made his way up the stairs, and set her down gently on the bed.

 

[Dragongal]

Em was asleep the moment he had picked her up. When he set her down, she opened her eyes a bit and tugged on his shoulder, bidding him to lay with her.

Callum smiled and laid beside her, not even bothering to undress from his formal clothing. He wrapped his arms around Emmalia.
"Someone's tired." He chuckled.

 

[Dragongal]

Em nodded slightly and cuddled up close to him, then immediately fell asleep.

Callum eventually fell asleep by her side, only waking up later the next day with Emmalia in his arms.

 

[Dragongal]

Em didn't wake up at dawn, nor an hour after, she only woke after Callum did. The light from sunrise didn't hurt her skin at all, so she had been able to sleep in. Now awake, though, she quietly said, "Good morning, my love."

 

[Solar Daddy]

Callum smiled down at her. "Good morning my dearest. Did you sleep well?" He asked, already knowing the answer by how late she slept.

 

[Dragongal]

Emmalia smiled and nodded. "Yeah." She leaned in and kissed his cheek, sayibg, "You're warm. I love feeling how warm you are. I couldn't before, unless I had a fever."

 

[Solar Daddy]

"It's nice to feel your warmth too." He chuckled and kissed her cheek. "Ready to start the day?"

 

[Dragongal]

Em paused to process what he had said, then very, very quietly asked in disbelief, "I'm warm...? You feel it?"

 

[Solar Daddy]

"Yeah, you are." He smiled softly. "It was amazing, I almost got hot last night from the cuddling and the blankets."

 

[Dragongal]

For a few moments, Em didn't move, then she practically thew herself on Callum, wrapping her arms around his neck. "You fixed me! I can eat and I'm warm, now you won't get cold come winter, and I can eat dinner with you like a normal person! Thank you Cal!" She hugged him tightly and almost felt like crying.

Callum smiled and wrapped his arms around her as well, holding her close to him. "Don't thank me love, I just followed the recipe is all." He said and kissed her gently.
