"If you want, I can explain to you more about the people whose souls are inside of you all. Answer any questions you might have about them." Gideon said, hiking onward towards the cave. He was speaking out loud to the whole group but was partially diverting the comment towards Rhialla. Gideon was a little curious as to how most of these people would find out that they basically had the souls of a bunch of evil, psychopathic, titan-like, sex freaks inside of them. The thought made Gideon crack a small smile under the wraps.

 

[Waif]

Otoko perked up when he heard Gideon said he could tell him about the person that was inside of him. He stopped watching Rin run in the snow, and looked questioningly at Gideon. "Do you mind telling me about the one in me?"

 

[GemShem]

Rhialla raised a brow at Gideon's comment, she couldn't be sure but he may have directed that towards her especially. "Yes...I'd like to know as well." She directed her stare at him with a silent question in her eyes, hoping that he might understand it somehow but she doubted it. She'd want to know exactly how she'd changed and who's soul she'd received but first she'd wait her turn. The interrogation she was planning for Gideon would have to wait for now.

 

[The Master]

After eight minutes it was getting dark in Gehenna. The sun was setting and the storm was brewing harder. Gideon had used his magic to drag the couple with the rest of the group. He entered the cave with everyone, having set fire to the pile of wood resting near the mouth of the cave. Gideon sat down as the fire crackled, still holding Jazmyne in his arms. He took notice of Elijah stalking them just above the cave. Elijah was cloaked with a magic he was barely familiar with but Gideon could still spot him. Gideon decided to focus on that later and simply look at the people in the group, readying himself to answer their questions.


"Otoko, you posses the soul of Kane. Not the one we are going to be fighting, but the one before him. He was Lilith's brother, Sewell's father, Lily's father, Ashuraka's brother, and Nightmare's brother. He had Sewell with Lilith, and had tried helping Lily conceive a child. There is much more to him, so if you have any specific questions go ahead and ask."


"Rhialla, you have Lilith's soul. She was a succubus who had a child with her brother Kane, Otoko, and mothered Sewell. Her story is not something I feel would be best discussed in private with you." Gideon chuckled slightly. "Any specific questions I will answer. So feel free to bother me about it." He laughed.

Jazmyne held tight to Gideon, knowing that something wasn't right. So far she only trusted Gideon. He has been good to her, and she thinks if someone does something like that, they are alright to trust. She buried her head into her neck, and mumbled.

 

[The Master]

Gideon caressed Jazmyne, "There there..." He whispered comfortingly to her. He could tell she was bothered and decided to soothe her. Gideon had a way with children that was truly amazing. His family jokingly called him the baby whisperer. Gideon's past was something he was hoping they would not ask about, but if they did he would have to answer. Gideon continued cradling and soothing Jazmyne, waiting for the others' questions.

 

[Mashiro Shiina]

Rin halted her running, entering the cave in silence and slumping against the wall. She kept to herself, decidibg she had bothered Otoko enough. As well as considering the fact she was sleepy. Yawning, Rin slowly balled herself up into a ball, pulling her knees up to her chest as close as possible, before burying her face in her knees, slowly dozing off against the wall while listenibg half-heartedly to their conversation.

 

[GemShem]

"S-So what happened to them? To...Lilith? Why did you have her soul? Why do I have her soul?" Rhialla stumbled over her words, refusing to look at anyone save for Gideon. A slight blush had crept to her cheeks but it was hidden by the darkness and obscured light within the cave. She shuffled closer towards the fire Gideon had created, drawing strength from it's heat and energy. She wouldn't drain it, rather her presence made it more energetic and the flames almost leapt at her with something akin to happiness, even a human could tell it was drawn to her. She watched as Rin curled up into a ball and she directed more energy towards her to keep her warm, this way at least, nobody would need blankets for anything but material comfort. "Also is there any way we can help her?" Rhialla gestured to Kaname who still slept soundly and she rested her a little ways from the fire, her head on Rhialla's lap. She wanted to check the wound but she was hesitant, she didn't want to wake the poor thing. Not yet at least.

 

[The Master]

Gideon's expression became dark, "Veril killed them all.... Everyone..." He spoke in a low voice. "Yes there is a way. I will do it, in time. When the time is right I will help her." He told her.

 

[Waif]

Otoko sat down on the cave floor, near Rin. He had the urge to fall asleep, but since Gideon was answering questions now...


"Who's this Veril? And why were we chosen to come to this place?

Jazmyne stayed quiet, as she listened to them talking.

 

[The Master]

"I suggest some of you don't sleep. Rin, stay awake. If you sleep then Nightmare's soul will make you have nightmares that you have never had before. It was something that happened to him. Trust me it is truly dreadful and it destroys your soul slowly." Gideon mentioned to Rin. He gave Jazmyne a soft kiss on the head. "Anyone else have questions?" Gideon asked.

 

[GemShem]

Relieved to know that Kaname would be alright soon, Rhialla began to relax for a moment before her face hardened. "Destroy her soul? You mean to say she can't sleep ever again? As for that 'dreadful story', we can listen to it after the younger ones fall asleep. I....would like to hear more about Lilith, as I'm sure everyone else does for their own 'soul'." She glanced around to check if her statement was true, which it seemingly was for the most part. She turned back to Gideon, waiting for his response.

 

[The Master]

"Lilith's life was not all that big or flashy. She had a lot of sex, she had Sewell, she had even more sex with her brother, she was extremely evil, she was a powerful witch, and she never really ever stuck with anyone when it came to being in a relationship." Gideon shrugged. "Also she can sleep, but she will have a lot of nightmares about her worst fears and they will end after eight hours." He looked at the girl then back to Rhialla.

 

[GemShem]

"So she was very....promiscuous. Interesting. But evil how? What did she do exactly?" Rhialla pressed further, her cheeks were flaming and the light by the fire illuminated her face, she ignored it and waited. So she'd have nightmares too, that was something to look forward to. At least Rin wasn't alone on that one, although the destruction of her soul was definetely cause for concern.

 

[The Master]

"Rin is the only one who will be having nightmares sadly... Nightmare was constantly in pain, the fact that it isn't effecting her shows just how strong she really is. Lilith was the only one who wasn't emotionally hurt by anyone now that I think about it. Also evil as in she would even sleep with married people, she even killed people simply for fun. The craziest of the bunch are Elijah, Kane, Sewell, Lily, Lilith, and the Kane in the castle right now." Gideon was rubbing Jazmyne's back soothingly.

 

[GemShem]

"For fun? Wait....they're still alive? I'm thoroughly confused now." Rhialla glanced at Rin, not the least bit envious before her eyes widened. If they had to contend with the people who's souls they had then.....what the hell was going on? Rhialla sighed, she grew more and more exhausted by the second and her mind was racing, she could barely keep up anymore.

 

[Waif]

Otoko looked up at Gideon when he said Kane was one of the craziest members of that family. He felt disgusted, having this person's soul inside of him, but with this power he could escape. Otoko had a feeling he would come out for the worst because of this. "What is wrong with Kane?"

 

[The Master]

"The souls of the people are alive yes, but not their physical bodies. None of these people are normal. When they die their life force shatters and the pieces go find a new host. I was able to collect most while Kane has some. To lessen the confusion, lets call the Kane alive now, Veril. Now, Veril has a few pieces while most are in you guys." Gideon could tell her mind was racing.


"Why do you think none of them have ever actually stayed dead? The latest generation, the souls inside you all, are the most powerful. They have let people win battles, they have even died, but only their physical bodies." Gideon stoked the fire a little. "The soul if Jazmyne though is unique. The soul inside Jazmyne is whole and completely sentient at the moment." Gideon nuzzled Jazmyne a little.


Gideon addressed Otoko now, "Kane is manipulative, cruel, sadistic, power hungry, secretive, and smart beyond anyone's comprehension. He was able to plan two years in advance a massive scheme just for laughs while others hurt and suffered. Kane never even let anyone know his real name." He spoke softly. "Kane also had sex with his sister and daughter like, a lot. So you can chalk that up to his negative achievements. He was also a lot more sexually active than Lilith. He would have at least five women a day, and he never even really went back to them ever again once he was done." Gideon was covering Jazmyne's ears during the talking of the bad stuff.

 

[X3 Infernal Infinity]

The female sat at the entrance if the cave, legs tucked beneath her as she stare out into the blinding white of the snow. On her lap Kairo, who had returned to his normal size, was curled up in a ball. Sharp blue eyes stared at the blank wall of white outside the cave, sleekly furred ears twitching at the soft yet somewhat dampened howl of the wind.


Partially she was listening to the others discuss the various souls they possessed. Hachi cared little about the souls within the others as individuals. But knowing what type of creatures the souls had once been, how they came to be as they were now, this was useful information. Gently she scratched behind the wolf pups ear.

 

[Vampiricdoll]

Jazmyne saw the snow fluttering outside the cave, and she smiled. "Snow!" She said letting go of Gideon and over to the entrance of the cave. She giggled finding the snow falling pretty and funny. "They are dancing." She says jumping up and down.

 

[X3 Infernal Infinity]

Hachi glanced over as the small child approached the cave entrance obviously entranced an amused by the snow. She was unsurprised by the little girls energy and vaguely found it sort of adorable. Children tended to be aimless but exploratory so the energetic and often useless things they did seemed not to bother her.


Lifting her hands they flashed through a set of semi-intricate mudra, before coming to rest, fingers interlocked with her forefingers and pinked extended. She took a slow breath, in and out, focusing on the snow. Her Jutsu seemed lacking in it usual power in Gehenna but she was confident that sigh a small fear S she was trying to accomplish could be done. Focusing her chi she soon got what she wanted. Formed from a contained batch I snowflakes she crafted a bunny shape, sending it hopping in little circles in the air around Jazmyne.

Jazmyne giggled, chasing the bunny laughing and happy. She clapped her hands with glee, and walked over to Hachi smiling. "Bunny!" She said pointing to it happily.

"Bunny indeed..."





Hachi glanced at the child attempting a smile. The spirit in her didn't seem to react as aggressively to the child's nearness as it did to the others which mildly surprised her. As she was pondering this Kairo barked lightly, rising on her lap as he barked at the snowy bunny form. The bunny itself hopped around Jazmyne once more before hopping upwards and dispersing in a shower of small glittery flakes.

 

[Vampiricdoll]

Her eyes shined as the bunny turned to sparkles. "Oohh." She says lifting her hands up, catching the flakes on her small hands, soon melting from body warmth. She giggles and touches the snow, leaving a hand print in the snow. She clapped her hands, grinning.
