Fantasy Gehenna

Elijah glared at the group from a great distance. He had been watching them since Nightmare attacked, taking notes on everything. None of them could sense him at this distance until they fully trusted and unlocked their powers. With a final thought he turned and walked away, planning an ambush for when the group got near the cave.

"We should proceed with caution..."

Sitting on the ground for a moment with Jazymne in her lap the slender woman's hands flashed through a familiar set of mudra. Slapping her palm on the ground energy once again enveloped Kairo returning the pup to his massive form. Rising Hachi brushed if her clothes before leaping nimbly on to the wolfs back. The child would be safe and resting I the wolfs abundant fur would keep her warm. Also from here Hachi could keep an eye out. She did not trust this world.

Rhialla watched in amazement as the pup Hachi owned turned into it's enormous form again, the whole feat was disconcerting and fascinating at the same time. She wondered what other things the girl could do and she was positive she wasn't human much as Rhialla herself, at least she wasn't the only one who wasn't of the same species as the rest of the group. She turned to Otoko and Rin, "How are you guys doing? Not too cold?"

Gideon had reformed after a long wait. He could feel the group a good ways away. Gideon began to trudge his way towards them. The snow was now almost two feet deep and would only get deeper as they got closer to Gehenna. Luckily for him though he was walking away from the castle and towards everyone else. He wondered if they were alright and hoped they weren't wounded or too badly shaken. Gideon kept moving, hoping he could help guide them towards the cave safely.

Rin continued to scurry behind Otoko. Her gaze shifted towards the woman once she asked them of their status, which of course provided her the opportunity to se her vivid imagination. "Frosty the snowman is my friend." Rin giggled quietly to herself, before pressing her small face against Otoko's shirt to keep herself warmer. Although the heat was a good aspect, she felt the need to be close to at least one person while they ventured onward.

Otoko looked at the pup and shrugged. He had seen more unbelievable stuff as they had traveled, and this was still the first day. He glanced at Rin, content in the fact she found the back of his shirt so comfortable. He looked at Rhialla, and opened his mouth to speak. "Is that girl's wounds any better?"

Rhialla laughed along with Rin and glanced down at the girl in her arms. The wound was bleeding less but it was still likely a cause for concern. "She's doing better it seems but she still needs treatment, once we stop for the night I might be able to cauterize the wound if need be." She cringed at the thought, she didn't want to hurt Kaname but if the pain would help she'd do it. She didn't know why she felt so protective of her it just....happened.

Kaname was now sleeping within Rhialla's arms. So far, two people she could at least trust enough to sleep in the arms of, though that wasn't much of a sign of trust anyways, since sleeping was something she needed bad enough that even with those freaks from the 'holy ritual' place around her, she would sleep if possible. The girl was quite tired by the looks of things, the blood loss actually helping her sleep by making her unable to remain conscious all too well. Kaname was back to that horrid place of silence and painful waiting, nothing in the future but more pain and suffering. She was now clearly having a nightmare, a scared frown formed by her mouth.

Haruka and Yoru were still just walking together, Yoru annoyed that they ignored him. He decided to just ignore the fact they ignored him though, and proceed walking with Haruka. "Haruka, kill m-" Yoru was cut off by Haruka responding quickly with "Okay!" Yoru slightly panicked, though remained mostly calm. "I didn't really mean it!" He said, putting a hand on the handle of Haruka's ax, which as currently raised to cut Yoru's head off. "It's just... You, the leader of the gang I'm against, and the gang that killed my brother... How the hell am I even able to stand next to you without going insane from the hatred...?" Haruka leaned against him more, still walking. "Maybe because... you finally realized you love me...?" Haruka said in a playful manner.

Rhialla was glad that Kaname was able to sleep peacefully until she clearly began to have a nightmare, she didn't want the girl to thrash and fall out of her arms so she held her tighter. She didn't know what else to do so she mumbled softly to her over and over again until she calmed down, "It's okay, it's just a dream." She hoped it would work, the poor thing had been through enough already without having to deal with nightmares as well, it was just cruel. Rhialla hoped that for now, nothing else in Gehenna would attack them before they got to the cave, at least then they could defend it and have some sort of advantage.

Hachi sat calmly, legs folded beneath her, The small child's head resting on her lap. Kairo's broad back offered plenty of space and the thick black fur surround the small one in warmth. The red haired female however seemed focused on other things. Her hand were folded in a singular mudra, her eyes closed and her head canted slightly upward.

She was focusing, sensing out the area around them. Her tail was alert and her ears remained bolt upright. A slight twitch of an ear in one direction or the other at random intervals was the only sign of movement. She was doing as she had been trained, using her unique sense to her advantage. That was why she had been created. To be the perfect tactical assassin.

Gideon waved his hands, now within fifty yards of the group. Despite the constant snow fall he trusted they could see him. Gideon sped up to meet them and find out how they have been since he left. Gideon had a feeling that his time with them all would be short lived. With that in mind he continued to move, treating time like something truly precious. Of course they would be fit to take on Kane after he lived, he still worried for them. He was hoping he would get a better bunch at the beginning but in a way it worked out rather well. He couldn't understand why Sewell and Lily's souls would allow those two to be so destructive towards each other though. Gideon also felt bad about not being able to be with Jazmyne, since the little one was kind of his favorite. With or without Skittle's soul, he enjoyed her very much.

Run skipped along behind Otoko, giggling along with Rhelia. She found it great to finally have someone to share her happiness. She worried for her friend Kaname, and hoped the miss would take good care of her. Keeping her tune happy, Rin shifted her gaze to see that of the mister Gideon. She simply clung tighter to Otoko, wondering if he was the same as before, or a possible clone like the rest.

Otoko waved back at Gideon to let him know that he saw him. Even with the snow, Otoko could see the big man waving his arms through the flurry. He felt Rin grip him a bit tighter, but ignored it. She was probably just a little scared of Gideon, though he wouldn't know why. He just hoped Gideon could eventually help the girl in Rhialla's arms. She needed to get her arm fixed, or that wound would have to be closed with fire. She was already hurt enough...

Rhialla glanced over her shoulder, they were a ways up the mountain but two figures were further down, still near the yeti corpses. The crazy couple. They weren't too far away and so Rhialla made her way towards them slowly, she caught up to them quickly. "We should get to the cave soon but you two need to hurry. We don't know what's out here. Come on." She scolded the two of them, throwing a harsh look before turning away without another word and heading back in the direction of the cave. She noticed a figure further ahead of the group and she squinted, was it another enemy or? Could it be Gideon? She had no idea, she was too far to see clearly.

Kane arrived at Gehenna, opening the massive door slowly and closing it shut. The closer you got to Gehenna, the worse the blizzard became. Kane caught his breath and made his way through the halls, going through the right doors at the right time. He knew Gehenna like the back of his hand, as well as how it kept shifting around internally. Kane also helped build the final part of it.

He dragged himself through the doors and halls one by one until he reached the White Room. Kane sighed a big breath of relief, falling face first onto the soft white bed. He felt at peace, and for a moment the world stopped for an instant so he could enjoy himself just a little longer. Kane stretched his whole body onto the bed, groaning as his muscles relaxed.

Kane began nodding off, the relaxing effects of the room putting him slowly to sleep. He thought about all that had happened in the White Room. It was his predecessor's room and his predecessor's wife's room as well. He remembered how Rosary would relax with the previous Kane for days at a time in the room. They were both very mean and cold people, sharing love and care for no one else but each other, and maybe their son Andy. The White Room can turn even the craziest, meanest, hollowest person into a calm and sound of mind being. Upon remembering Kane's wife, his eyes closed shut. The face of the woman who left him was his last thought before falling asleep. The woman who had shared more memories with Kane than any other person in his life. Ereeca.

The female sighed as she opened her eyes, gazing ahead of her into the falling snow. It would only pile up more and more as time came to pass. She hated the snow. It was not the cold that bothered her, nothing so trivial would. Even without the blanket of heat the other red headed woman seemed to have cast over them all she would not get cold. Sensations such as heat and cold, even pain to a degree, had no meaning to her. It was just how she had been trained...how she had been created.

Absently her fingertips brushed against the tattoo on her upper arm. The number eight, done in black ink. It looked as if it had simply been painted on with a wide calligraphy brush. But the ink was deeply embedded into her skin. It had been a part of her for as long as she could remember. Her ears tilted slightly as a soft sigh escaped her lips.

She was distracted from her thoughts by a figure approaching the group from a distance. Her ears tilted forward as she glanced through the falling snow. It appeared that Gideon had returned after all. A good thing she suppose. A soft command served to urge Kairo to move a bit faster. The massive wolfs paws made traveling in the high snow easy and soon they drew closer to the man.

"It is fortunate that you are alright Gideon..."

Cassidy looked up at Hachi and tugged on her. "What's going on?" She asked with small petite voice. Her eyes glimmered with curiosity, but confusion as well, wanting to know what was happening around her.

When Gideon finally got to the group he stopped and held out his arms. "Someone put Jazmyne in my arms... I wanna hold her." Was all Gideon said. He was desperate to feel the little girl safe in his arms. Gideon felt close to Jazmyne, not just because of Skittles though. Of course Skittles played a small part, Gideon still enjoyed Jazmyne in a unique way.

Gideon bent down a little and picked Jazmyne up. He held her lovingly, nuzzling his face against her. The wraps around his head covered all except the area around his eyes. Gideon gave Jazmyne a big long hug, his face mushed against hers, before focusing on everyone else. "Lets keep moving, the cave is only eight minutes from here. I'll answer your questions at that time." Gideon turned, Jazmyne in his arms. He began to trudge forward, feeling rather great about the group's progress. Most people died within minutes of entering Gehenna, so their surviving was rather aweomse.

Rin remained behind Otoko, before finally running out and being her usual cheerful self. Giggling, she pursed her lips and began making purred noises with her lips whilst holding her hands out in front of her as if they were holding onto a steering wheel and she was driving crazily through the snow, when in reality, she was simply running around and tilting her arms happily.

Rhialla didn't wait for their reply and kept walking, catching up with the others and noticing that Gideon had returned. "Will we be safe for tonight?" She asked, she doubted they would be and some would most likely need to take shifts but she held onto the small hope that maybe they'd be okay. Just for one night.

"Yes we will be safe. At night the storm rages so violently, if you were to stick your arm out of the cave it would be cut off. Also you can't fight inside Gehenna, meaning caves are a no fighting zone." Gideon told Rhialla. He was still holding Jazmyne tightly, not letting the little girl leave his embrace for even a moment. Gideon wondered if the two siblings, in spirit, would be joining them anytime soon on their continued hike.

"Good." She said, visibly relaxing, she was pretty sure the majority of the group was exhausted and they still needed to find some way to treat Kaname. If only Rhialla's healing powers could be used on others... She was slightly concerned about the storm part but as long as they got to the cave in time things would be fine. She waited for Gideon or Hachi to lead them to the cave, it seemed that both had found it so for now she'd follow them.
