Fantasy Gehenna

Otoko was getting tired of this threatening, insane babble. If anyone of them made a move that even looked harmful towards this blindfolded girl, Otoko would murder them. He didn't know how, but with this power welling in him, how could he fail? Either way, he could deal with those problems when they came. There was another young girl, silently smiling as this went on. "Hello. Who are you?" he asked her with a smile.

Jazmyne held onto him and looked at the boy going to help the girl with the blindfold. She looked into Gideon's eyes and whimpered. She held onto her toy tightly and the rattle.

Gideon shouted, "Someone carry her, we all move onward NOW!" As he spoke, a powerful blew all of them back. Gideon had more power than them all, and he had just showed only a bit of it. He spared Jazmyne from any of his negativity though, since she was the only one not doing anything non-productive. "There there, it'll be OK." Gideon caressed Jazmyne. He turned and began to trudge towards the mountain, taking the passage to the left. "Follow me, and stay close." Was all he said, holding Jazmyne with both arms now.

Rhialla winced as something pushed her back and staggered, Gideon was more powerful than he seemed, and at this point he was helping them as far as Rhialla knew, why else would he give everyone powers? She began to follow Gideon slowly, testing out her new and improved fire abilities. If she concentrated enough she didn't need to get angry to summon fire in her palm although it was much easier, making the temperature of her body increase was relatively easy, it was lowering it that was more difficult. Just as before fire didn't burn Rhia either, instead it simply held tightly to her skin, which remained unaffected, unless she wanted it not to, a few times she dropped it into the snow where it fizzled and left behind a small puddle of water. Finally she tore her attention away from herself and checked on the others. Everyone seemed relatively fine although the little blindfolded girl's bandages were beginning to soak up a lot of blood, she'd need new ones soon. "Are we heading straight for the castle?" She asked Gideon, he had said his nephew was responsible, was he just sending them to their deaths? Why would he after changing them? Rhialla was hesitant but she decided that to survive she had to trust him, she just silently hoped that wasn't the wrong decision.

"Please... no more... experiments..." Kaname's lips said in her sleep, though no words came out with the motion of the lips. Her body lightly struggled, like she was having some kind of nightmare, and she was. Of course, her right arm as virtually useless at present time, so it didn't really move of her will. Instead, it just hung loosely, and as she struggled because of her nightmare, the arm swung ever so slightly, sending a little pain through her, making the nightmare worse. In her nightmare, she could feel the pain of her arm being cut open; hear the voices of those around her performing their "holy" ritual. Being naturally blind until just earlier, the one thing she didn't have in her dream was actual things she could see.

While it was easy for her to be given sight, her voice, was another matter entirely. It wasn't that she didn't have a voice, or that she'd just plain lost it; her voice was gone due to the traumatic events of which she's gone through. She'd lost her voice through it becoming an ineffective tool that she eventually became unable to use, as it would bring more harm than was already there to herself. The only way to get her voice back, would be to have her learn that her voice is no longer something that'll bring her even more pain, and that her voice, which is actually quite a nice voice; especially with the preservation from not using it; is something that she can use to help others, and get help where help is needed at.

Otoko stood unflinchingly in Gideon's force. He could see why others would react, but he would no be seen as weak. Otoko followed Gideon as he started to walk towards the mountain, wondering what the insane couple would do. Then the blindfolded girl started to mouth words in her sleep. Maybe she was mute? Then she started to struggle, jolting her arm and making her flinch in pain. He wrapped his arms around her, tighter, so she wouldn't hurt herself even more in her sleep. They wouldn't want her to bleed out, right?

"I hope there is no expectation for us to work together... If so then this attempt was doomed from the start..."

Hachi sighed as she continued following behind Gideon. This group was a headache and a half. If she was lucky maybe all of them would die. She shook her head fiercely, casting aside the thought. Sure she didn't like to be around people, especially those who wasted time and energy on trivialities. Sure, so far the group had proven to be primarily useless and wasted more energy on stupidity then accomplishing the very clearly stated task at hand but that was not enough to be mentally condemning them all go death.

"We're wasting time... The longer we lag about like fools the higher chance of being slaughtered becomes..."

"Depending on how formidable our foe is I'm not entirely sure you'll get a choice if you want to survive." Rhialla pointed out, of course the children might always slow them down but that wouldn't stop her, in fact it could potentially drive her depending on the danger of this 'nephew' and her newfound instincts. She was pretty sure that whoever she gained these powers from had been a mother figure of some sort, perhaps an older sister? She couldn't tell, she didn't exactly gain their memories after all, who knows, they could have been male for all she knew.

The other redhead was right about one thing though, they were moving too slowly and if that tree really wasn't just an accident then there's no telling what could attack them next. She noticed the girl in Otoko's arms struggling, probably having a nightmare, "You alright with her?" she checked. Rhialla wondered what happened to her voice, and how she'd lost it, or maybe it had never been there. That and also the fact that she'd been blind, Gideon's ability to heal her was amazing although the repercussions and his acceptance of them were slightly unexpected coming from someone so intimidating.

Kaname started to struggle a little less, slowly coming to a stop and resting calmly. That warm hug was enough for her right now; enough to keep her calm, and proceed her nightmare to a more calming part, where she could relax just a little. Of course, these nightmares were pretty much stuff that'd really happened to her, in terms of pain and how bad they were. The most peaceful thing she'd ever had though, was the two seconds after she'd been escorted back to her cell after the rituals, which just after became fear of the next time she would be used, and fear of what the next one would be. At least in her nightmare, those two seconds lasted more than two seconds, though the two seconds would probably come to a quick end soon enough.

Rin continued to watch in silence. Once the wind picked up, she stumbled forward, landing on her hands and knees. Slowly, she sat up to her knees, now being settled in front on Kaname and Otoko. Tilting her head to the side, she watched the girl squirm within what to Rin, seemed to be a nightmare. She was once again interrupted by Gideion beginning to get impatient. Blowing her breath and mimicking him as a normal child her age would, Rin stood back to her feet, before slowly standing up behind Rhialla.

(Sorry for the short post, not much to do yet xD )

Jazmyne was confused and hugged Gideon. She looked at the people behind them, following closely. She held tight to her toy, for comfort.

Otoko grinned at Rhialla as the girl calmed down, saying "I'm just fine.". He looked at the girl that was in Gideon's arms. Was there something special about that girl? He guessed he would find out sooner or later, judging by the amount of danger Gideon warned of. He spoke loud enough, so Gideon could hear him speak. "How long is it until we get to the castle?"

"If we make camp, two days. Non-stop walking, thirty seven hours." Gideon responded to Otoko. "Also, you and Rhialla feel close because the people whose powers I put into you were siblings, and lovers. Don't ask." Gideon added. He was holding Jazmyne close to him with both arms, carrying the child. Gideon showed a bit more care towards her than anyone else, which wasn't too odd since he loved toddlers and babies. "Well all need to work together if we want to survive against Kane. He is ruthless and will kill you all the first chance he gets. Unless he wants to toy with you first." Gideon spoke to them all, excluding Jazmyne of course, he was still snuggling and giving her affection.

At the mention of the name Kane the feeling of almost uncontrollable madness swept over Hachi once again. She clenched her jaw holding back the animalistic growl that wanted to escape her. The red energy floating from the tips of her ears seemed to respond to her inner state flaring up a bit. She did not understand this intensity of emotion. It made no sense for her to respond so aggressively to a name de was only just now hearing that belonged to a person she did not know.

Logic dictated that it could only mean that much like the others felt connected to each other the soul in her had to be in some way related to this Kane. It was more than clear that whatever that relationship was it was not pleasant. Not with the degree of intensity then desire to kill and harm them was at. Clenching her fist she approached Gideon. Turning her gaze on him she spoke.

"Perhaps you can tell me more about this...Kane... I do not like being in the dark...especially when it comes to my own mind..."

Rhialla almost tripped when Gideon told her that, she glanced at Otoko and smiled tightly, chuckling awkwardly. "Siblings and lovers? What kind of people were they?" She might have to keep her distance from Otoko if this new part of her soul made her want someone who was clearly a lot younger than her, the thought made her cringe. He was a teenager. Just, no. Who the hell was this person who'd she'd been connected with? But if Rhialla and Otoko's souls had been siblings what did that mean for the two psychos just behind them? She still felt like she knew them but she'd never associate herself with such deranged people. The redhead from before seemed extremely angry at something, maybe even someone and Rhialla remembered that she wasn't human either, she'd looked like some sort of wolf-woman. She had a lot to learn about everyone here. Hachi questioned Gideon and Rhialla agreed silently, if her life, and the lives of others were in danger, she wanted to know why.

Otoko blushed when he heard "siblings and lovers". That would explain why she felt familiar. He didn't see a reason to avoid the woman, but hearing that made him sure that this walk would be very awkward. At least the walk wouldn't be that long, until they found the one that dumped them here and killed him. Otoko sighed, and looked at the sky, cheeks still burning red.

Gideon spoke as they all hiked, "Kane is a man who was the last person to join The Family. He is also the most devious and cunning. He is also the smartest. He is not to be underestimated. Kane has never used his full potential in any fight. He always holds back, and when someone asks why he just tells them it is because the people he fight aren't worth the effort." He finished. "Lilith seduced her brother, which is why they were lovers. You two shouldn't feel awkward or weirded out, just because you have a familiar feeling doesn't mean you two are siblings. Here in Gehenna, age means nothing. Not anymore at least...." He sighed. "If anyone wants to know anything else, ask specific questions. I'll answer until it gets dark." Gideon spoke, not slowing as he hiked, still holding Jazmyne.

Hachi folded her arms beneath her bust, lifting a hand to her lips. absently she bent, scooping Kairo into her arms and petting the pups ears. This was indeed a strange place, one she knew little about. The lack of information made her feel very uncomfortable. She liked to have a plan, to know her enemy and environment. Right now there were too many variables. The biggest on that bothered her was the rage inside her, why it existed.

"What can you tell me about the spirit in me..."

Rhialla still couldn't wrap her head around the whole 'sibling lovers' concept but Gideon was right, just because she felt like she knew Otoko it didn't mean she needed to avoid him, besides he seemed nice enough, maybe they could be friends. "So...uh, she seems to be sleeping pretty well huh?" Rhialla nodded towards Kaname who'd quieted down, "Wonder what happened to her, poor thing." she tried to make conversation, hopefully the walk would seem faster and less boring that way.

Whilst Rin walked, low growling could be heard from her small form. This was taking place subconsciously, which of course happened because of 'Nightmare' within her. Her irises flashed a darkened red shade, before returning to their normal, innocent crystal blue glistening shade. Her attention was fixated childishly upon the falling snow, herself jumping about into the footprints made by those walking ahead of her. She said nothing, but had the sound of giggling mixed with rough growls emitting from her figure. She had interacted no further with Kaname, due to the fact of her being held by someone obviously older than her, and male at that, but only by four years.

Gideon spoke to Hachi, "Ashuraka, The Crimson Titan. No one hated The Family more than him. He used to be part of it though. He was also the one to become Kane, but he ran away and started his own family. No Kane has ever shown as much skill as him in hand to hand combat. He also created a different kind of magic altogether. He is not a mean person, but he gets extremely negative around members of The Family. He didn't like how they manipulated and hurt so many people. They say it was out of reaction and self-defense, but he still believes they went too far with... some things." Gideon finished.

He turned his head slightly, "Rin, come over here and walk next to me." Gideon said, smiling. He had dealt with Nightmare before, so putting Rin in a better mood would be rather easy. Even if temporarily, Gideon could put anyone in a good mood. "What is it you're feeling?" Gideon asked, not showing any bit of negativity in his voice so as not to agitate the child.

"Let us see how they handle this..." Kane smirked, having fun watching them. He rolled the dice and sat back, getting ready to enjoy the upcoming show.

A horde of yetis burst from the snow around everyone, roaring and growling at everyone. There were about ten of them, each standing at twelve feet tall and being twenty yards away from everyone but still surrounding them. One of them made a loud roar as it charged forward towards Gideon and Jazmyne. The rest followed the charge within mere seconds.

Run, being interrupted from her selfmade fun, slowly walked closer to Gideon. She was curious as to what exactly he wanted with her all of a sudden, up until she received his question. "Happy. Grumpy." Rin slowly tilted her head, only to be interrputed from her thoughts by the numerous thudding sounds of stampeding footsteps. They were seen to be headed straight towards the group, which of course sparked both curiosity as well as agitation.

Gideon put Jazmyne down and took a step back, vanishing into snow. "I'm sorry, but Gehenna will not allow me to assist any of you with the exception of leading you to the castle. I will be able to reform once you have defeated them. You all either work together or die together." Gideon's voice echoed around them all. He seemed to have just disappeared.

"I'd say the guy's probably in on this whole thing. Bet the jerk wants us to entertain 'em, and that's why he gave us these powers." Yoru said, spinning his gun and shooting at a yeti's head. Of course, being at their current range, Yoru and Haruka in the very back, the shot missed the target. "Let me show you how to really fight, Yoru." Haruka said, a psychotic smile slipping ever so slightly on her face. She ran right at the yetis, ax in hand. She got a little close to one, swinging the ax fiercely at the yeti's leg as she came to a sudden slide, timed so that if the yeti kept running at her, the ax would (probably/hopefully) cut the yeti's leg clean off.

Kaname suddenly woke up when she heard a lot of noise; namely, a lot of loud footsteps and a gunshot. Her left eye, which was uncovered right now from the blindfold having slipped off a little earlier, shot open and stared straight at the sky. Panicking, not knowing what was going on, she moved her head around to figure out the direction of the noise like she'd always done, though when she found it, she was looking right at it. She didn't know at all what was going on; it was just like before, when Gideon had done something to her after taking her blindfold off. She was confused, but in her panicked state from all the noise, she didn't give it all too much attention; rather, she focused on the large amount of noise.

Kairo growled jumping from Hachi's arms and landing in the snow. She quickly worked her hands in the series of mudra required before slamming her hand palm first into the snow behind Kairo. Energy burst from the ground as the wolf pup began to transform, body bristling as he nearly quadrupled in size. Red energy rolled of his fur as he snarled at the surrounding Yeti.

Silver fur once again spread over her arms and legs giving them a more beastial appearance. Dropping to all fours her tail went up fur bristling, waves red energy rolling from her. Her eyes flashed as she snarled at the yeti. With a powerful kick of her back legs she shot towards one of the creatures, Kairo at her side. Dropping behind the wolf beast she let Kairo make the first lunge, massive jaws snapping at the creatures legs. Catching up she leapt, springing of Kairo's back and high into the air. Once again get hands flashed through a set of mudra. Howling with glee inky blood red energy streamed from her claws surrounding her fist as she slammed it into the yeti's face.
